Our first lambing group of the year has wrapped up and the results aren't terrible but I had an unusual amount of single lambs born. Today I talk about why this may have happened and what I think contributed to the resulting singles in my flock.

I do not like bottle feeding if i don't have to, so if I have a ewe that could take a lamb, I will do everything in my power to get that ewe to take that lamb - even if it is not their own.
Today I talk about how I manage fostering orphan lambs, or getting a ewe to accept her own rejected lamb.
