We begin Season Two with a Series on David starting with the Shepard. It is easy to let the mystique of David skew the reality of David's failures and overall humanity. We find that, when fully engulfed, in the life of David he is much more relatable than anticipated.

Shamgar is the "proof in the pudding" when it comes to God using us for greatness no matter what our ailments or problems may be. Shamgar is unlike any other Judge we learn about and may also be one of the most relatable. Open yourself up to the possibilities that are boundless when you fully surrender to God.

We all deal with life struggles and sometimes they're so powerful they can control us and our actions. We must remain Centered on Christ and rely on our foundation in the Bible. Together we can manage our problems and come out better on the other side.

We have all had struggles with taking scripture, applying it to our lives, and putting a plan to action. Today, we discuss the importance of utilizing scripture and give some tips on how to to absorb the information and put it to work.

We all have our ailments, reservations, and hindrances yet God still uses us for extraordinary purposes. Ehud is the perfect personification of this promise. Lame handed and undermatched, Ehud conquered Eglon and the Moabities through obedience, willingness, and the Glory of GOD.

Mother's are the definition of strength, willingness, and selflessness. Deborah, a mother of Israel, the only female Judge was called by God to free the Israelites. Her story prevails today as a testament for women everywhere. Are you willing to answer the call?

Who do you strive to be? What are you jealous of? Is the grass really greener?

We are constantly comparing and contrasting our lives to others instead of looking to God. Distracted by the facades and smoke screens of modern society we have lost touch with HIM and therefore reality, itself. We all have our OWN purpose and calling. We must be individuals wholly striving, together, to be who HE calls us to be. CHOSEN

Where you are now (in a hole like Gideon) is not where you’ll end up. Follow the message the Lord has for you and conquer your enemies. Gideon shows us no matter where we are, what we’ve done, and how much we question we can still be used by God, for greatness. Climb out of your hole, your rut and walk in HIS will. Fear not.

With great power comes great responsibility. The story of Samson is a powerful example of devotion, commitment, and eventually deception. We all have our own hinderances and vices undermining our greatness and ultimately separating us from God and the person we should be. Samson shows, no matter your mistakes or troubles God is always with us and will help us when we need HIM most.

Have you shared the Good News with your friends? Philip and Nathanael are the shining example of true friendship and care. We should surround ourselves with Godly people who share our values and care about our wellbeing. Together we become better. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”. Are you living in the Good, Better, or the Best?

James the Great, the other brother of thunder, paved his own way alongside his brother John as two of the most prominent disciples of Jesus Christ. How easy would it be to live in the shadow of someone else’s success? We each have destinations, goals, and achievements on the way, but we have to run our own race. Focus on your own walk with Jesus Christ and HE will show HIMSELF just like the mount of Transfiguration.

How far are you willing to walk in obedience? The only way to achieve the plans God has for you is to follow HIS direction wholeheartedly. The miracles we open ourselves to will tear down your walls, part your seas, and ultimately lead you to the promised land. We continue striving to live our new mantra, 99% obedience is still 100% disobedience.

When our faith is tested and foundation shaken how do we react? Studies show 10 out of 12 people are unwilling to face their giants. Joshua walked in obedience and led the Israelites to the promised land, defeating giants, destroying walls, and splitting the Jordan along the way. Imagine the miracles that could happen in our lives if we walked in the same obedience.

“You are the light of the world” We should strive to be Christlike and driven to help those around us out of their darkness. We are charged with spreading the good news through the way we live our lives. Centering your life around Jesus Christ builds integrity and demands surrender to the purpose God has placed on you. The more we share our own light, the more others will shine brighter.

The beloved disciple, John, one of Jesus' three closest followers and an eventual leader of the church. Much like Peter and his brother James, John was a fisherman transformed into a fisher of men. Jesus loved John so much he asked for John to care for his mother, Mary, after his crucifixion. John witnessed some of Jesus' greatest miracles and attributed 4 books to the bible. What a story.

From Sinner to Saint, transformed from Levi to Matthew, gift of God. Follow ME. Two simple yet powerful words Jesus Christ used to disrupt and ultimately change countless lives. Jesus will meet you where you’re at whether it’s in a pew or a barstool. “For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” What a blessing. Even sinners, like us, and tax collectors, like Matthew, are worthy of saving.

How do we get to where God has called us to be? It takes courage, commitment, discipline, and willingness. The path to reaching your goals and living Centered in Christ is tough, but so very worth it. We have to set SMART goals. We have to build strong habits. We have to be mindful of what it means to be Christlike. You have to choose every single day to be better than yesterday. Together we rise.
