Billy Barlow, a wannabe hero, arrives in the magical city of Far Water searching for his first great quest. Shax, owner of the Dragon's Rest, struggles with her insufferable clientele including Gilroy, a drunken mage, Nolan, a talentless bard, and Magnus, a lecherous dwarf.
