Planet W takes you on a comedic journey through all things WNBA and women’s basketball. Hosted by brothers J. and Dan, from Indiana Fever ville Studios.
J and Dan are back to discuss the new CBA agreement, and other general women's basketball discussions. J faces some backlash from his bracket picks, Hamby gets her very own rule, someone's stealing cards from Target, and Bam and A'ja are basketball's most scoring couple.
J is back to bring you his bracket picks, with a twist. He's picking which city is the worst and decided, since Dan is sick, that this can be a crossover with Universe of Weirdos. Expect little basketball chat, but a have fun with this really unique way of picking the Women's NCAA Basketball Champions. He may confuse which crappy city Notre Dame is in, but you can expect some unnecessary bashing of some actually nice places.
J and Dan are back with more WNBA off-season silliness. No CBA yet, so J puts on his best pro-wrestling promo to scare Cathy into a deal. We also talk Arike, Unrivaled, Athletes Unlimited, and go through some of the all-time stats to see which current players can dethrone the Queens.
CBA negotiations are looking grim and we are dying for a deal. J and Dan discuss the CBA struggles, what a lockout might looks like, and if we might get some cash back on our season tickets. We also discuss Unrivaled, the "We" in Team, and tying your political beliefs to your entertainment preferences. This one is a can't miss!
We are back with some more off-season silliness. Talking analyst gigs, CBA updates, Cam Brink in Playboy, and Rickea Jackson getting hit by a car. This is a pretty good one, for an off season show.
J. and Dan are back to talk the WNBA's looming player strike. A CBA can't be agreed on, and the players have plenty of options that aren't The W. We discuss all of this, plus the Mercury's new, awful, logo.
We are back to discuss more off-season weirdness in women's basketball. Is Project B a good name for a sports league? Who is Unrivaled? What does the future of the Liberty and Fever look like? Don't forget to spread the love of Planet W to everyone you know!
It's the offseason and J. and Dan are ready to discuss the random news that has happened since the Aces WNBA Championship win. Coaches find homes, so does All-Star weekend, but we have to discuss the big basketball elephant in the room. Lots of gambling scandal talk in this one.
We wrap up the year with lots of A'ja Wilson praise and recapping some of the top stories of the WNBA season. We plan on taking a few weeks off, but we will be back for off-season shows, so stay subscribed!
J. and Dan are back to discuss the recent Phee vs Cathy drama, as well as the WNBA Finals, All Defensive teams, and Unrivaled. We also talk about our highlights of the season and what we are looking forward to next year. Enjoy the rage-bait title and this final week of WNBA action.
J. and Dan are back on the road, on the way to watch the Fever play the Aces, and on the way back after the Fever beat the Aces. We take you on a several hour journey in less than a half hour. Podcasting is time-travel.
J. and Dan are back to celebrate the Fever advancing to the WNBA semi-finals. Lots of playoff talk, as well as some 2K chat and other women's basketball related silliness. We also give you a preview of how you can get your hands on an autographed Caitlin Clark Iowa jersey, coming very very soon.
J. and Dan are back to discuss the playoffs and the AP end of season awards. We also talk Angel Reese's next team, talk about Fan Appreciation Night, and condemn political violence (since everyone seems to need to do that this week).
J. and Dan are back to discuss recent WNBA Hall of Famers, Angel Reese's recent comments, and the long-awaited Playoffs chat. We also discuss the newly developing sports trend of snatching things from kids at games.
J. doesn't want to talk about the playoffs! It's too close and it makes him nervous. He and Dan will talk about other things, though, like Candace Parker's jersey retirement, some "of the year" awards, and of course the really odd security at the games this season.
J. and Dan are back to talk all the new goings on of the WNBA. We talk NBA 2k26 and its new intergender play, which leads to a discussion about what all-time W players could work on what all-time NBA teams. Sue Bird's statue, Sports Betting, and the inevitability of the Lynx. We discuss all this and more on this episode!
Dan and J are back to discuss all the best trades of the WNBA, as well as some weird news. Rivals Week is here and we are gearing up for Buddies Week next week. We are back on iTunes, so please say something nice to get us back up those charts.
We are here to discuss the Trade Deadline and analyze some mainstream media trade proposals. We recorded this before DiJonai got traded, too, by the way.
J. and Dan are back to discuss one of the more hilarious weeks in the WNBA. Trade deadline is approaching, but we have more important things to discuss like wigs, marital aids, and Plum Dawg in Happy Gilmore 2.
Join us later this week for some Trade Deadline talk.
We are back and stuck in traffic. The Planet W crew brings you this season's road trip episode, from inside the Planet W space ship. We talk about the Fever beating the Aces, bringing back the Stranger Things jerseys, and you might even hear a little road rage.
If you've ever wanted to know about champagne, satanism, the Stonewall Uprising, chaos theory, LSD, El Nino, true crime and Rosa Parks, then look no further. Josh and Chuck have you covered.
Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
