A Fantasy Draft podcast where we drink drinks and argue about dumb stuff.
Jeffs Clear, Woodhead, and Goar join Jeff for the very first Council of Jeffs to talk a little bit about famous Jeffs. Jeff has some opinions on Geoffs, Jeff makes a few good points, the listeners don’t listen and pick Jeff, Jeff has some Jeff Jeff to say about Jeff, Jeff Jeff Jeff makes Jeff Jeff, Jeff Jeff Jeff Jeff Jeff Jeff. Alex Trebek Jeff Jeff Jeff.

The Major League references continue! The second half of the Ballpark draft is here, and much like the 2016 World Series, I bribed Jobu with the finest of treats of the Chicagoland area to help my team. Sometimes a hot dog is just a hot dog even when you give it a fun name, do modern ballparks serve Orange Julius? Two metrics are decided by a difference of 3 points, Chris misunderstands some of the metrics, and Jeff overserves hims...
Matt Monk, Alan Kreisel, Mark Serratore, and Chris Liguori join us as we draft teams of Major League Ball Parks. The Beatles played at Comiskey which is news to me, Truist Park is juuust a bit outside Atlanta, Macaroni the dog stops by to say hello, Jeff gets ahead of himself, we get distracted talking about Dennis Haysbert, there is some butt-punching, and I edited out 5+ minutes of Cardinals/St Louis bashing. If you'd like to reg...
Part 2 of the until-recently unaired pilot is here! Jeff and Pat talk about seafood, Minor League Baseball, and food trucks for longer than you might assume. Our friend has a sweet scar from a knife fight, Austin visually demonstrates how to grasp a sausage but unfortunately this is an audio medium, and Jeff discovers why paired metrics are a good idea in real time.
UPDATE: The original upload of this episode contained an 8 minute ...
It's a trip down memory lane to the very first recording of Draught Daze where Patrick Cochran, Zach Freet, Austin Wood, and Ben Wood join Jeff to draft teams of Potato side dishes. Much ado is made over if (insert potato dish here) is in fact a side dish, Jeff is a team name thief, and we all hate hasselback potatoes.
Metrics (condensed for brevity, full list on the website)
1- Points awarded for dishes that include cheese in the...
Welcome to the very first Home Brew Draft, where our results are determined by the listeners! This episode's expert panelists are noted video game fan and geek trivia host Jeremy Goodson, and Bassoonist and video game music cover artist Andrew Gossett. Jeremy, Andrew, and Jeff go over some of their favorite video game music and make predictions for the results before covering the Top 20 Picks as chosen by the listeners!
Sam has a bonkers-long job title, maybe Disney should adapt Poe, Jeff and Zahkia continue to bond over their love of Coco, the gang performs the Space Jam soundtrack, Luke stops by to share his thoughts, and Sam becomes everyone's Frenemy (he knows what he did...)
You can hear Sam, his brother Paul, and their guests (like me!) play movie related games on the Hollywood Cast Connection
Asha Ouseph, Sam Carr, Zahkia Mendoza, and Carmela Smith join us for the Animated Movies Draft. Asha braves tornado weather, Yeungling hates Jeff, Luke names his dad’s team, Zahkia dislikes Britanimation, all of us are super comfortable openly weeping in a movie theater, and Carmela forgets who she is which causes another ending to go off the rails.
Tom Madia, Jordan Palmer, Patrick Cochran, and Timmy Daniels are back to bring their teams to the Combine. Moopsy the Destroyer of Fans drops by for a visit, we change the outcome of a metric by measuring it, we all do an Owen Wilson impersonation, Jeff tries (and fails) to end the show for literally 5 minutes, Jordan almost laughs himself to death, and in spite of all the crazy, Patrick remains the only professional.
Tom Madia, Jordan Palmer, Patrick Cochran, and Timmy Daniels join us for the Nickelodeon Draft. Things start off great and definitely don't go off the rails immediately, Pat has the thrills for the pils, Jeff is a big fan of Toby Huss but can't remember his name, everyone steals everyone's picks, and Timmy is a towel.
You can find Tom's Perler bead creations on instagram at @jarusof
Craig Bona, Chris Olson, Tim Joria, and Kevin Huizenga are back to bring their teams into the Combine. Cracklin Oat Bran is (maybe) Mr Smithers' favorite breakfast, we discuss what other foods might be good served in a liquid, cereal isn’t soup and everyone agrees with me, Kevin has no microwave or too many and there is no in-between, and we make more simpsons references than you might assume a cereal episode might generate. Craig ...
Craig Bona, Chris Olson, Tim Joria, and Kevin Huizenga join us to draft some breakfast cereals. Reese’s puffs has a song and it's lowkey a banger, Jeff forgets to read metrics, Craig is a point hoarder, Kevin’s brother eats dog food, and at least one of us is unsure of who they are.

Tim Dipel, Jay Borsom, Bryan Nash, and Jeremy Goodson are back to bring their teams to the combine. Jeremy won’t stop naming sad dogs, Jay's math strikes again, we debate whether bomb sniffing dogs are underpaid, and we set a new record for tie breakers despite my efforts to cur-tail them (one last dog pun for the road). If you don’t know who Nina Tucker is, consider yourself lucky and don’t investigate further.
Tim Dipppel, Jay Borsom, Bryan Nash, and Jeremy Goodson join us to draft all the doggos and puppers in our fictional dog draft. Jay and Tim attempt to draft the entire Heeler family, no one but me has seen Isle of Dogs, everyone steals everyone else’s picks, and Bryan attempts a live read of his voice over work.
Listen to Tim wear tank tops weekly on Frenemy Trivia
Corey Marcoux, Rowan Ward, Moran, and Mike Baney are back to bring their teams to the Combine. Rowan talks about the difference between “they suck” and “They empirically suck,” Corey throws a challenge flag (which isn’t a thing), and we briefly discus the business hours of Costco, Jeff is also beers.

Corey Marcoux, Rowan Ward, Matt Moran, and Mike Baney join us for the Nu Metal Bands Draft. Corey almost immediately sets his mic on fire, I love Deftones and you should too, autocorrect becomes the most predictable problem ever, Matt attempts to break the game by introducing trades, Jeff keeps stealing Baney’s picks

Matt Weimar, Luke Weimar, Brian Wetherald, and Matt Zimmer are back to bring their teams to the Combine. Jeff immediately regrets his decisions, Luke (the other one) stops by to say hi, and everyone gets a granola bar and/or technical issues.

Stacy Melquist, Lexie Beamer, Chris Hernandez, and Keith Moser are back to bring their teams into the Combine. Keith Shows everyone how to spreadsheet, the Bears continue to be not a good football team, the end of the episode goes completely off the rails, and we crown a winner.
