And The Spirit And The Bride Say Come

Joel declares the Day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh, it is at hand. The coming of Jesus will also signify the coming forth of the Church, his saints, his Bride. It is closer than we think!

Paul’s hope was in Jesus Christ, and he was not conformed to the philosophy and beliefs of this world. And that is not all. Paul says we are “persecuted,” oppressed, downtrodden, and mistreated, “but not forsaken” (2 Corinthians 4:9). We are not deserted or rejected, which is strange to the world, but not to the Body of Christ.

The Bride of Christ, his Church, his Body, cannot afford to let its light go out. We are symbolic of his grace. We are his lighthouse. If our light goes out, nothing can be funneled or transferred through us. A lighthouse does not shine for itself. It shines for others. A lighthouse does not live gloriously. Vigorous waves, day and night, plunder it, but it keeps right on shining.

Sin is spiritual quicksand. We may think we could never get trapped in it, but if we are caught in sin, we may already be in quicksand. Sin is the spiritual quicksand of this world.

An all-out attempt is underway, a campaign with one goal: to change the name of the church, the Bride of Christ, into a figure of man’s imagination—into the image of his likeness. 

A snare has been laid in the path of the Bride of Christ. The world cannot separate the bridegroom, Jesus Christ, from his church.

Jesus is about to be honored at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and his wife has made herself ready. He knows exactly what he is looking for. Many are called, but few are chosen. The Lord’s standard has never changed.

Ever since he was kicked out of heaven, Satan has been pulling rabbits out of the hat. We must be aware of his rabbit-in-the-hat tricks. He is using illusion and delusion simultaneously.

The world is not as naive as some may think: it knows the difference between a bag lady and the Bride of Christ. We are not fooling anybody.

The Lord not only looks, but he also watches. The Bible tells us that “the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him” (2 Chronicles 16:9). When you look, you simply direct your eyes toward an object. To watch means to focus one’s attention, to keep under careful observation, to stand or guard over. 

We are all living stories, individual and different. There are basically two types of stories: fiction and nonfiction. The devil has been trying to make the story of the Bride of Christ a fantasy ever since he landed in the Garden of Eden. It all started right there. There is no make-believe in the story of the Bride of Christ, the church, the saints of the Most High. It is as real as it gets.

Payday is coming afterwhile. Scripture tells us that, contrary to popular belief, Jesus will do the paying. The scribes and the Pharisees wanted to be in charge of payroll, but Jesus called them hypocrites. What shall we render unto God?

Jesus had no earthly wife or children. He left his DNA in the Spirit. His DNA was 100% salvation.

History has recorded many great days, some good, some bad, and some ugly. There’s a greater day coming than that. The Day of the Lord is coming, and it has already been appointed.

Why has the world listed the Bride of Christ as missing in action when Jesus said she was not? If Jesus is going to join his Bride, then we know that she is not missing.

Jesus spoke openly to the world. He taught in the synagogue and temple, and in secret, he said nothing. Then, the secret may not be the Bride. Who stands to lose the most if the Bride of Christ comes forth?

The sick are too weak and weary to press their way into the presence of Jesus. The church must take it to the streets.

There are a lot of brides popping up everywhere, claiming to be the true church of Jesus Christ. There is a necessity that the church come forth. The world has taken it upon itself to create its own version of the Bride of Christ.
