SWAT Officers Carter and Holland were involved in an outdoor area search for a dangerous fugitive. The suspect shot Officer Davis and Officer Holtry. The suspect was shot and killed. Officer Davis was released from the hospital and returned to duty. Officer Holtry was paralyzed and was medically retired.
