Welcome to Mom Jeans - The Podcast. We dive into topics about the joys and struggles of motherhood. We are not experts, just a group of friends going through real mom talk.
Episode 49: We ask our go to pal, Chat GPT, what are some of the top pregnancy myths out there. We review them and discuss our experiences with each of them.
Episode 48: Lisa discusses losing her daughter's namesake and a good friend having a stroke. They discuss how fragile life is and a big fear of dying before their kids remember us. Of course, they have to talk about the Chappell Roan comment, as well.
Episode 47: A USAToday.com article discussed Gentle Parenting and the benefits (the child's future) and downsides (the parents' lack of current sanity). Danielle and Lisa would both consider themselves Gentle Parents with frequent slip-ups. They discuss how they were parented and how they would've wanted to be treated this way when they were children.
Episode 46: We asked Chat GPT: What are the top 10 mom myths? We go through a number of them and discuss our thoughts on them. We also dive into updates in the beginning before getting "on" topic.
Episode 45: Pregnancy Hormones are getting the best of Danielle right now. Have you had any or know anyone that has had some wild reactions to something that at the end of the day was small and inconsequential?
Episode 44: Danielle and Lisa have a discussion about the day to day life of a stay at home mom. If Danielle always planned on being a stay at home mom, how she fills her days and how some days are just darn right defeating.
Episode 43: On this episode Lisa and Danielle interview Kristen and Mickella about their decision not to have children. We get down to the why, the how they got to that conclusion and if they always knew they would end up kidless. Also, an update about the sex of Danielle's baby.
Episode 42: We invite Katy on to tell us about her decision to leave the full time working mom role. Katy imparts many words of wisdom on us throughout the episode. We had a great time discussing many different topics with her. And as the title suggests we disuss how 'Kids Are Nuts'.
Episode 41: Are your kid's grandparents helpful? Are they nearby? Are they far away? We discuss the challenges with both. And Danielle has a fun little surprise for us!
Episode 40: Danielle and Lisa discuss their goals for the new year. Including a few that are involving our kids. Do you set resolutions? Do you stick to them?
Episode 39: Danielle and Lisa listen to a story that occurred in the UK where a group of 12 year olds had their phones taken away for 21 days. The results were quite interesting. We get into our thoughts on technology and how we were raised and how we think we're going to raise our kids with technology.
