Welcome to The Kori Leigh Show. I’m Kori — a recovering alcoholic, 9 years sober, a mom, a woman who has walked through addiction, divorce, grief, mental health battles, and the kind of darkness that either takes you out… or forges you. I know what rock bottom feels like. I know anxiety that grips your chest. I know the obsession to escape. I know what it’s like to burn your own life down and still wake up the next day. And I also know recovery. I know surrender. I know what happens when desperation meets God. Sobriety didn’t give me a perfect life, but it gave me a real one. One built on faith, spiritual discipline, personal responsibility, and the daily choice to suit up and show up, even when it’s uncomfortable. This podcast is for the person who’s done pretending. The ones who knows something has to change. The ones who is tired of reacting from emotion and wants to start responding from conviction. Here, we talk about: Recovery and sobriety without romanticizing the pain Faith without performance or bypassing Resilience, boundaries, and self-respect What it actually takes to weather the storm and come out rebuilt You’ll hear raw conversations, unhinged truths, hard-won lessons, and stories from people who have been to the depths and chose to rise anyway. God meets us in the mess. The storm passes. And who you become in the storm determines everything. If you’re willing to do the work — welcome. As we say in recovery: Find the similarities, not the differences. That’s how we heal. Follow Me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/korileigh/
You don’t owe everyone access to you. But what no one talks about is what happens after you set the boundary.
In this episode, we talk about the part that comes after you leave the relationship, get sober, set the boundary, or change your life, its the in-between phase. The uncertain, uncomfortable season where everything feels quiet, scary, and unclear. I call this the “ashes” or the “soup” phase. This is t...
Sometimes letting go isn’t losing… it’s making room for what’s next.
In this episode of the Kori Leigh Show podcast, I talk about what “let go and let God” has actually meant in my life, not as a quote, but as something I’ve had to live through. Sobriety, separation, co-parenting, health scares, heartbreak, and seasons where life didn’t look anything like I thought it would. And yet, with time and hindsight, I can see how those end...
Sometimes the life you’re living now is the one you prayed for when everything was falling apart.
Here’s exactly why you can’t stay consistent (& here is how to fix it)
If you’re ready right now… REBUILD Presale is OPEN!
In this episode of the Kori Leigh Show, I look back on some of the chapters that could have taken me out — abusive relationships, divorce, alcoholism, self-harm, suicidal depression, and the painful separatio...
Feelings are real. But they aren’t facts.
If you’re over 40… DELETE THESE THINGS NOW!
In this episode of the Kori Leigh Show podcast, I continue to talk about a season that felt like another dark night of the soul — grief, fear, instability around co-parenting, and old abandonment wounds getting stirred up again. And here’s what I had to remember: feelings can be tended to… but they don’t get to drive the bus.
Recovery has taught...
Sometimes the hardest chapters of your life become the reason someone else keeps going.
Is sharing your story on your heart? This is exactly how I have built a multiple 6-figure/year Business with story telling.
In this episode of the Kori Leigh Show, I share a moment that reminded me why I do this work, a stranger at a Christmas market who hugged me, cried, and told me the podcast helped save her life. It was a powe...
Is sharing your story on your heart? This is exactly how I have built a multiple 6-figure/year Business with story telling.
This episode of The Kori Leigh Show, is a check-in after (and in the midst) of a season that forced everything to slow down. At the end of 2025 my appendix ruptured, and the first two months of this year became a period of deep healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The quiet and low...
This episode of The Kori Leigh Show Podcast is about being savage about your inner work. Not aesthetic healing. Not performative growth. The real work is the kind you commit to in addiction, grief, divorce, loss, and seasons that try to take you out.
I share about my separation year, daily recovery meetings, pausing a globally charting podcast, nearly dying after my appendix ruptured and why protecting my faith, sobriety, and nervo...
What Happens When You Don’t Numb Out
In this episode, I’m talking about what it actually looks like to walk through a season of anxiety, co-parenting, major life shifts, and even a near-death experience and choose not to let fear run your life.
We talk about:
I didn’t disappear because I quit. I stepped back because I was in a storm and my job was to survive it sober.
In this episode of The Kori Leigh Show, I’m back after a long pause, and I’m telling the truth about where I’ve been. This past year required everything I had: learning how to co-parent for the first time, managing anxiety that felt suffocating at times, and facing a medical emergency that nearly took my life.
If you’re i...
In this episode, we’re flipping the script on control and comfort and leaning into one powerful idea: what if your job isn’t to figure it all out—but to say yes anyway?
I’m sharing what’s been stirring in my heart lately—from my conversations with God, to the wild, unexpected ways this podcast and social media have grown (spoiler: I didn’t plan any of it). This is your reminder that faith doesn’t always come with a blueprint, but i...
In this episode of The Kori Leigh Show, I’m getting into the real stuff—how this podcast has changed me, and the way I’ve seen it land in your lives, too. We’re talking resolutions (spoiler: I don’t do ‘em), why I focus on themes over goals, and how the book The Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer has cracked me wide open in the best way.
Here’s the heart of it though: 👉 You don’t need faith to start. 👉 You don’t need motiva...
Trusting the Unknown: Following God One Step at a Time
In this episode, I’m opening up about what it really feels like to trust God in the middle of uncertainty—in life, in business, in recovery… in everything.
I share pieces of my own story and how lately, it’s felt a little like playing a game of chess. Every move comes with questions, resistance, and some real moments of “God, are you sure this is the way?”
But here’s what I’m l...
In this episode of The Kori Leigh Show podcast, I’m diving into something that’s been on my heart lately: letting it be enough. You know those seasons when you're full of energy, ideas, and everything feels like summer—bright, buzzing, and alive? And then there are other times that feel more like a long, slow winter—where showing up at all feels like a big ask.
I talk about how our needs—physically, emotionally, spiritually—shift d...
This episode is raw, unfiltered, and straight from my heart... recorded from my car on a rainy day in Revelstoke (because sometimes life hands you a moment, and you just have to hit record).
I’m reflecting on the last eight years—where I’ve been, what I’ve walked through, and how recovery, faith, and surrender to God’s plan have completely changed me. From the heartbreak of my first marriage ending to rebuilding a life that’s roote...
This one’s straight from the heart.
I recorded this just after a quiet morning prayer, feeling the weight (and weird peace) that comes with endings. Not just the little ones—but the big, soul-shaking ones.
In this episode of The Kori Leigh Show, I’m sharing some of my own story—sobriety, grief, heartbreak, and what it was like to walk through the”beginning of the end” for me. None of it was easy. But all of it… led me somewhere dee...
I used to think prayer was… well, asking for what I wanted. 🙃
I’d throw up requests to the universe (or God) like a cosmic wishlist—hoping for quick fixes, big breakthroughs, and answers that aligned perfectly with my plan. Spoiler alert: That’s not how it works. 😅
In this episode, I’m sharing my journey of completely rethinking prayer—how I went from skeptical and disillusioned to experiencing something way deeper than I ever ex...
Eight years. That’s how long I’ve been sober. And let me tell you—getting well, recovering from addiction, and building a healthier life? It costs you something. In this episode of The Kori Leigh Show, I’m opening up about the real price of healing—the mindset shifts, the sacrifices, and the deep, sometimes painful process of letting go of toxic habits, relationships, and substances.
I’ll share the personal milestones that shaped m...
On this episode of The Kori Leigh Show podcast, I sit down with the incredible Margo Miller for a raw and honest conversation about the hard truths of sobriety. In this episode of The Kori Leigh Show podcast, I’m taking you behind the scenes of a nerve-wracking moment—preparing to speak in a women’s prison. I’ll be honest, the nerves were real. But instead of letting fear and overthinking take over, I leaned into the present, trusted God, and reminded myself that saying yes to the scary stuff is where real growth happens.
I’m sharing how I’ve worked through imposter syndrome in the past (l...
Sobriety looks different for everyone, but what happens when the choice isn’t just about health—it’s about survival?
In this episode, I’m breaking down the difference between choosing sobriety for wellness versus needing it because of alcoholism. I’ll share my own journey, including the struggles, the realizations, and the surprising freedom that came with accepting the label of "alcoholic." We’ll talk about the power of acceptance...
