This podcast series will highlight the Lord’s model prayer as found in Luke chapter 11 and in Matthew chapter 6. We will be using the model prayer as an outline to learn how to spend quality time in prayer with our Savior.
The final episode of the mini series on Prayer. The final point in the outline on prayer is the closing of a prayer. It ends like it began with a time of praise. We exist to glorify God and there is no better way to end prayer than to praise the one who is worthy of all the glory!
In the model prayer, Jesus instructs us to pray to not be lead into temptation, but to be delivered from evil. We face constant attacks from the devil and his ilk and the armor of God protects our hearts and minds. Listen as we put on the whole armor of God in our times of prayer!
One of the important parts of prayer is when we ask for forgiveness of our sin. If you know, Christ as your savior already, you’ve been forgiven of your sin, but you still need to confess your sin daily, not for him but for you. Join us as we explore this is an important step of prayer.
As you study prayer, perhaps the most common phrase is the phrase give us this day, our daily bread. But what are we praying for when we ask for this? Join Ryan as we study the scriptures, and reflect on what it means to ask God for daily bread.
In this episode, we pray for God’s will to be done in our life and in those we care about. We pray for the salvation of those who are reaching out to as our “One”. Jesus prayed for the Father’s will and now we do!
The second episode in the prayer podcast focuses on the phrase “Thy kingdom come” from the Lord’s Prayer. Join us as we search the scriptures to see what kingdom attributes we should be praying over our friends family, and loved ones.

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
