Bite-Sized Book of Mormon

This episode serves as a bit of an epilogue to last book, about how the Nephites fared after Christ came—so, essentially, they continued to get worse. Oh, and little 10 year old Mormon was assigned to carry on the records. Then he was visited by the LORD HIMSELF when he was 15. So that's cool.

This episode we are treated to a succulent 50 verses of what not to do. We watch as the people of God go from their united, utopian, consecrated state after Christ leaves them, and fracture into divided, inequitable, wicked tribes that haughtily feel superior to each other. Not much fun is had with the ending here.

And the half one is Christ telling His disciples to stop anyone who is unworthy from taking the sacrament—but I'll bet it's not why you think!

This episode, we read as Jesus Christ moves to leave, but is swayed by the Nephites to stay. He then goes on to heal the multitude, call all of the little children unto Him, and pray an incomprehensibly beautiful prayer for the people. Oh, then he blesses the kids and literal angels descend to heaven to minister to them. Just normal goings-on around the Bountiful Temple.
