Invitation 2 The Cookout is where food, wellness, Black culture, and legacy meet at the table. Hosted by a food scientist and a health coach, the show brings the honesty, humor, and energy of a family cookout to conversations about what we eat, how we live, what we build, and what we leave behind. From food science, nutrition, and fitness to mental health, Black history, entrepreneurship, fatherhood, ownership, and community, we break down the issues shaping our everyday lives and make them engaging, relatable, and actionable. Some episodes dive into what is really happening behind the products on grocery store shelves. Others explore the conversations happening across Black communities around health, culture, identity, wealth, family, and legacy. Whether it is just the hosts at the table or a guest bringing expertise and perspective, the goal is simple: learn something, challenge assumptions, laugh a little, and leave with something worth taking home. Pull up a chair. Fix your plate. You’ve got an invitation to the cookout where we are serving more than food on your plate.
