Speaker 1 (00:12):
Goodness, we have a busy program as always. Welcome to
the audio magazine affectionately known as Common Sense Amplified. Hey friends, ruminators,
Preston Scott here, jose can you see over there? And
this is the Morning Show with Preston Scott for April fifteen. Doom, Doom,
(00:35):
and that which you should be feeling dread in your
heart because it's tax day, although it's not in Florida.
I get it. I get it. You've got you've got
till May first, but I'd still have them filed if
I re you. Boom boom boom. Anyway, it is Holy Week,
it is Tuesday. On Tuesday morning, Jesus and his disciples
(01:02):
head back to Jerusalem. You remember they cleared the temple
and hung out back in Bethany, probably at the home
of Lazarus and his sisters Mary and Martha. Here's what's
(01:25):
interesting though, yesterday, back then, Jesus, right after Rees turning
over the tables because they had turned it into a
shopping mall. They were exploiting people. It was supposed to
be a house of worship Jesus. It's one line in
(01:46):
the account in Matthew. Jesus performed some miracles inside the temple,
and the Pharisees saw it. They were there, they witnessed it,
and immediately their plans went into overdrive. So now we
(02:12):
are Tuesday morning, He's coming back to Jerusalem. He encounters
the fig tree and they had set some traps for Jesus,
and Jesus knew. Jesus knew when they had thought it
in their heart, and he called him out for it.
(02:36):
And it just goes to show you be careful what
comes out of your mouth, because when you speak something,
you give life to it. It was long before this
final encounter where Jesus overturns the tables and starts really
(02:59):
upsetting the app applecart that Jesus confronts them by saying,
I know what's in your heart, and then they began
to talk about it, and so it took life. Jesus
made it clear that not everything we think should we speak,
(03:24):
and in fact, elsewhere in scripture we're warned about the
power of what we speak. Had the Pharisees just kept
their thoughts to themselves, they could have reconciled those thoughts,
perhaps come to realize this was the son of God.
But they spoke, and they fed each other. So Jesus
(03:45):
has this encounter with them and he calls them out.
In more modern vernacular, he rinsed them. If you look
into Matthew and the account in Versus twenty three, chapter
twenty three. Rather he goes through the seven woes to
the scribes and Pharisees, and it's like, but woe to
(04:10):
you time seven, and he just jams on them over
and over and over. So read Matthew, go pass twenty one,
get to twenty two, and read twenty three the encounter
he has with the Pharisees calling him out. Later that afternoon,
(04:30):
Jesus heads up to the Mount of Olives, which if
you're looking at the Temple and Temple Mountain Jerusalem, it's
to the east overlooking, and he goes up there and
he gives what's called the All of It discourse, and
he talks about end times. He talks about his second coming,
(04:53):
and scripture also indicates that this is when Judas started
to negotiate with the Sanhedrin to betray Jesus on Tuesday.
It's kind of what we're looking at here, the events
of this day and the ol of It Discourse, the
teaching on the Mount of Olives is recorded in Matthew, Mark,
(05:16):
Luke and John A big, big, big, big day, very important,
so feel free to read about it Matthew, Mark eleven,
Luke twenty, John twelve and get the view of all
(05:38):
of them of the teaching and what went on. That's Tuesday,
the final week of Jesus' ministry here on Earth, the
first time. It'll be back eleven past the hour. Capital
(06:15):
Conservatives tonight Elks Lodge on Magnolia across from tallasse Ford
for those of you in the Capital City. Meeting will
start about six six fifteen, and you're welcome to a
tend and hang out and listen to John Daily, the mayor,
little update from his chair what's going on. Maybe he'll
(06:36):
talk about the importance of keeping the extremism out of
city government. I don't know, but that's tonight. Find a
little reminder on that. Eighteen fifty April fifteenth, the city
of San Francisco's incorporated by California's legislature eighteen sixty five.
Andrew Johnson takes the oath of office as the seventeenth
(06:59):
Present Incident, just a few hours after Abraham Lincoln died.
Lincoln died technically on the fifteenth overnight after being shot
on the fourteenth. General Electric is established in eighteen ninety two.
Talk about a brand with some lasting power. Ge bring
(07:22):
good things to life or is it to light to light?
I think it is, yeah, eighteen ninety two. Come on.
Nineteen twelve Titanic sinks. I watched a special where they
(07:50):
a group of scientists spent like three weeks with two
submersibles digitally recording every single part of the Titanic that's
exposed at the bottom, top to bottom, forward to back, everything.
(08:13):
And then what they did is they assembled it and
were able to project it onto massive screens in four
K and see details that honestly haven't been seen before.
Matt Like, they can zoom in and you could see
(08:36):
to scale the size of this, that or the other.
It was in that GEO thing. And I watched it.
It was spectacular and it gives a lot more understanding
of what happened and when it was worth watching. Even
though it's a Disney product that Geo's now owned by Disney,
(08:58):
it was really well done, very well done. Ray Kroc
in nineteen fifty five opens the first McDonald's in the
Planes Illinois, or as some might say, des Planes Illinois.
(09:20):
Today is tax Day for most of America. National take
a Wild Guest Day, otherwise known as tax Day, No
just kidding, National Rubber Eraser Day, National Titanic Remembrance Day,
National Glaze Spiral Ham Day. I learned that in order
for it to be a spiral cut ham, you must
(09:42):
have a bone in. The bone has to be in
it because the spiral goes around the bone. Otherwise it's
just a cut ham. It's a sliced hand. So if
you get a boneless ham, which is what I get,
it is just a sliced ham. If you say spiral cut,
they'll go, well, do you want the bone in? Oh? No, sorry.
(10:02):
You'd think I'd learned that today's National Laundry Day. There's
some ladies out there saying, excuse me, every day's National
laundry Day. In my home. You've seen my kids. So
there you go, sixteen past the hour, come back talk
about Scottsboro, Alabama. Told those day, I gotta power up,
(10:38):
gotta eat my own meal. I'm gonna hang out with
my one of my sons today and work in the
work in his backyard with him. We're tackling a project
it's gonna take time, but it's gonna be really cool.
And so yeah, I'm just I'm a geek when it
(10:59):
comes to that stuff. Love the whole landscape and vibe
and and and so I worked with him on kind
of what he wants to do and said, here's some ideas,
showed him some pictures of some plants, and went to
a few local nursery outlets and and got the AOK,
So we're going to begin working on we we've kind
(11:21):
of tidied things up, and now we're going to begin
to kind of piece things together a little bit at
a time. And I just love it. Love hanging out
with with all of our kids. But you know, when
I get someone on one time with any of them,
it's just awesome. But I got a power up. I
gotta power up. We gotta get the body fuel. You know,
these these engines don't work without a little fuel. You
(11:44):
know what I'm saying. But I mentioned Scottsboro, Alabama. Ever
heard of it? Scottsboro to some like, wait a minute.
Scottsboro is notorious for one event in particular where I
(12:08):
believe it was nine young men were falsely accused of
I believe raping a white woman back in the fifties, maybe,
and I mean it was wrongful convictions and treatment. And
(12:33):
I mean even later, a reformed George Wallas Wallace pardoned
some of these guys. But these I think it's the
Scottsboro Nine or the Scottsboro Boys or what. I forget
exactly what the moniker is, but it's it's not a
good thing. But Scottsboro is way north and east in Alabama.
(12:59):
I mean, if if you were to drive it from
from the capital city, you're looking at almost a seven
hour drive. I mean that. Yeah, he jose the way
he drives could probably get there in six hours and
forty five minutes. I am not a speeder. That's why
(13:20):
I said. That's what I said. Yeah, it's actually seven
thirty nine, but I you know, he'd get there ten
minutes later. But I did get reminded we were talking
about the unclaimed baggage. This would be a absolute road
trip for you, sir, because you dumpster dive and you
(13:46):
and you love finding stuff at thrift stores and you
love seeing stuff on the side of the road and
saying I wonder if I can fix that, And you
know you're you're down with this, So check this out.
There is a massive and I've talked about this before.
In fact, it was a road trip idea, go into Scottsboro,
Alabama and checking out the Unclaimed Baggage Warehouse. They have
(14:16):
all of this stuff that is now free to buy
at this warehouse. That's the size of a Walmart, a
super Walmart, you name it. It's there, and it is massive.
(14:38):
It's all things that people had in their luggage and
forgot to pick up. And so if you look this
up you will find it. In fact, let me get
my road trip thing here, because it's laid out in
(15:01):
uh let's see Alabama. That should be right. Hang on,
hang on, don't don't give up on me. Here South
there we go. Okay, we're we're rolling here. Oh man,
(15:24):
it's not laid out alphabetically. I'll find it. I'll give
you the exact name of the place. You can look
it up. But what I'm gonna tell you is this
is like flea market Heaven, only maybe even better. Yeah.
(15:49):
Twenty seven past the hour, Scottsboro, Alabama. It's a drive,
but thanks for joining us. It's The Morning Show with
Preston Scott well as you. As you heard, Jose's very
(16:14):
excited about going to Scottsboro, Alabama. Oh, I'm definitely gonna
check that out. It's called the Unclaimed Baggage Center. That's
the name of it. That's literally the sign in front
of the building, Unclaimed Baggage Center. And someone got a
(16:38):
doll and inside the doll was five hundred dollars stuffed
in there. You just don't know what you're gonna get.
Forty point nine to five carret Natural Emerald. That's the
that's considered the greatest fine so far digital cameras, what
(17:00):
tronics you name it. So there you go. I don't
know where you stay. I'm sure there are hotels in
and around Scottsboro. But because I mean, you're if you're
making us roughly a seven hour drive, you're you're gonna
be there, right, So big stories in the press box Today,
(17:23):
Morning Show with Preston Scott. High Friends, I thought it
would be good to give you a quick update on Chiner.
Kevin O'Leary dishing on this quite a bit. He of course,
major major wealthy dude, Shark Tank investor, former guest of
the Morning Show with Preston Scott. Of course, we know
(17:49):
that the tariffs. There's a tariff battle going on right now.
According to oh Leary, let me let me quote him,
Ji Jinping does not have the option to sell tea bills.
People keep saying, oh, he's going to be disruptive by
selling tea bills. That will enhance the price of his
currency and make his products even less competitive worldwide. It
(18:11):
will devastate his economy. So we can't do that. He
still believes America holds all the cards, all that stuff
that's made in the factories. Thirty nine percent of everything
they make over there is consumed by Americans. If he
can't sell the stuff, those people don't have jobs. It's
going to be a bad outcome for him, and he
(18:31):
knows it. It's one massive leverage we have on the table.
A comment in the section here said, you know, with
China suspending sale of rare earth metals to the US,
it's definitely time to remove them from the stock exchanges
here in the United States. Let them survive without US investors. See,
(18:54):
there are a lot of see the reason I mentioned
the comment. There are a lot of things that can
be done here to add pressure. Plus at last count,
we're into the hundreds better than one hundred nations, some
say up to one hundred and fifty or so are
already negotiating with the United States. China's being isolated, and
(19:16):
I think the world knows it. We're not the only
ones getting screwed by China. We're just getting screwed the most.
They steal from everybody. It's like a national motto, Oh,
let's steal. It's just that look good idea. Let's steal.
It's just what they do. And the people, awesome people.
(19:39):
It's the government they sanction all this. Reuter's announcing the
cash ptel is no longer over the ATF. We knew
it was temporary. The word is a guy named Dan Driscoll,
top civilian official in the army, is going to be
taking over the ATF. We'll see where that leads. ATF
is still they don't get it. A lot of the
(20:01):
former and high ranking they don't get it. They have
abused their power and authority. I think some of them
should be brought up on criminal charges for what they've
done to You know, the stories we've recounted with Lee
Williams kids sitting in prison right now, no reason. He
did nothing illegal, zero nothing, and then this this is
(20:25):
the and some of you gonna roll your eyes, but
I am going to do my job. We've already got
someone who died in a rip current and two others
seriously injured. And we're not even in the season. I
mean literally, the season kind of sort of starts Memorial
(20:47):
Day weekend. Seventeen year old boy died the twelve and
another seventeen year old boy. Two boys is seriously injured.
They were pulled out of the water after being submerged
for quite a while, but they're gonna survive. Got stuck
in rip currents off the Palm Beach County, off the coast,
(21:12):
Lakeworth Beach. And again, I'm gonna put all the intel
on my blog, bring visitors to it. I'm gonna keep
refreshing it so it's up there and stays fairly current.
Identifying rip currents, We're gonna teach you how to identify
and understand this. Rip currents can exist in perfectly calm waters,
(21:35):
but rip currents only become a problem if you swim
against them. If you're a competent swimmer, if you're even
an average swimmer, you can be fine. It's only if
you panic or if you just shouldn't be out in
the water. Right, So we're gonna we're gonna help, but
(21:57):
we're gonna point out the flags. We're gonna do all that.
Forty one minutes past the hour Morning Show with Preston Scott.
It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott. I raked and
(22:20):
brushed my entire front yard yesterday. Brushed, Yeah, brushed it,
leveling sand, little sore, little sore. I'm a double down
work in my sun's yard today. Getting all kinds of
(22:42):
email on the unclaimed baggage center. Okay, two of them.
I visited, was not impressed. But the area is beautiful.
Lots of cool thrift stores I liked better. That's from Steph.
Thanks Steph. Then there's Ed. I used to live in Huntsville,
not too far away, shop there frequently, so you've got
(23:07):
two different views here. Coolest fine a versace evening gown
with fifteen thousand dollars price tags I bought for one fifty,
one hundred and fifty bucks. Ed, there's some of you
trying to tell me about buying that evening gown. Were
(23:32):
you a trendsetter? My man now that was for his wife.
I'm quite certain. I hope, I'm sure. Hey, speaking of
listen to this inside as Rush would say, the squirrels,
(23:53):
let's say's literally choking over there, and this might take
a second. Florida teachers laws her job for calling a
student by the preferred pronoun or preferred name. Melissa Calhoun,
Brevard County eleven year teacher deviated from the student's legal
name without parental permission. She said she was respecting the
(24:17):
wishes of the student, whose legal name is associated with girls.
So I guess the young lady wanted to be call
a dude's name. Maybe was Look, I'm just reading the story.
One of the students complained to the district. The teacher
admitted to knowingly using the alternative name without permission. Spokeswomen
(24:37):
said it directly violates the law. Teacher received a letter
of reprimand and her contract will not be renewed. Now
here's the thing. All kinds of people now are up
in arms and protesting. She was a dedicated teacher. No harm.
Quoting one of the protesters here a media specialist at
(25:02):
a school in the district. There was no harm, no
threat to safety, no malicious intent, just a teacher trying
to connect with a student and that and for her
that contract was not renewed despite strong dedication and years
of service. Here's the thing, maybe termination is a little
(25:24):
strong if there was an opportunity to apologize and make amends.
I don't know. I don't know, but here's the thing.
So where's the line. If you don't follow the rule,
then the rules shouldn't exist if there's not appropriate consequences
(25:49):
to something like this. And this is a flash button,
I mean, this is this is a hot topic. Teachers,
you want to be cool and hip. So what if
there's a rule that says teachers are not going to
fraternize with students outside of school, You're not going to
(26:16):
cross the line of teacher or coach. Well, what if
then a teacher decides to meet a student for coffee,
and then what about, well, let's meet for lunch. What
if the teacher meets with a student for dinner. You
(26:37):
say no, but oh, it's just a cup of coffee,
but then it ends up being dinner and next thing,
you know, as we've reported on this show, you got
a teacher with a kid who sometimes it's a heterosexual relationship,
sometimes it is a same sex relationship, and next thing
you know, the kid is accusing parents of being abusive,
(27:00):
and they get the student emancipated, and they leave the
state and next thing you know, they're lost. It starts
out innocently, perhaps, but there are lines for a reason,
(27:23):
and this teacher knew them. Forty seven minutes after the hour.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
The Morning Show with Preston Scott on News Radio one
hundred point seven WFLA, all right, I'm gonna just read.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Something to you, a release if you will, and I'm
gonna leave the name out, and I'll tell you who
said this, who released this statement. This is Holy Week.
I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and
(28:13):
resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the living
Son of God, who conquered death, freed us from sin
and unlocked the gates of heaven for all of humanity,
beginning with Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday,
culminating in the Pascal Tritium, which begins on Holy Thursday
(28:37):
with the Mass of the Lord's Supper, followed by Good Friday,
reaching its pinnacle in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night.
This is a time of reflection for Christians to memorialize
Jesus' crucifixion and to prepare their hearts, minds, and souls
for his miraculous resurrection from the dead. During this sacred war,
(29:00):
we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come
without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross in
his final hours on earth. Christ willingly endured excruciating pain, torture,
and execution on the cross out of a deep and
abiding love for all of his creation. Through his suffering,
(29:20):
we have redemption. Through his death, we are forgiven of
our sins. Through his resurrection, we have hope of eternal life.
On Easter Morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb
is empty, and a light prevails over darkness, signaling that
death does not have the final word. This Holy Week
(29:42):
promises to defend Christian faith in our schools, military workplaces, hospitals,
and halls of government. We will never waver in safeguarding
the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life,
and protecting God in our public square. As we focus
on Christ' redem seming sacrifice, we look to his love, humility,
and obedience even in life's most difficult and uncertain moments.
(30:07):
This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy
Spirit upon our beloved nation. We pray that America will
remain a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the
entire world. And we pray to achieve a future that
reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ's eternal kingdom
in heaven. May God bless you and your family during
this special time of year, and may He continue to
(30:29):
bless the United States of America. This is how it began.
This is Holy Week, Milania and I join in prayer.
This was released by Donald Trump yesterday day before. Sorry,
(30:51):
Now did Trump write this? Of course not. But does
it matter? In a way? It does, But in a
way it doesn't, because isn't it wonderful to have a
White House that actually claims Christ as Lord and Savior.
(31:29):
Starting hour number two, commentson's amplified in your ears. Thanks
for listening wherever, however you are listening to us, whether
it's on terrestrial radio otherwise known as your car radio,
your home radio, or whether it's iHeartRadio streaming anywhere around
(31:50):
the world or across the fruited Plain. And you might
say really like someone's listening to you around Well, yeah,
we actually do have international listeners, people that live elsewhere
in the world that listen. I don't know why. I
don't know how. I'm just grateful for all of you
(32:11):
who lend me your ears and who join in, who
scream at the car, you're yelling at your dashboard as
I say something that you don't agree with, or if
you are shouting hallelujahs because of things you do agree with.
I'm just grateful, grateful to share this time with you.
(32:34):
I think it's important for us to consider what's happening
in Central and South America as a result of this
new administration. El Salvadoran President nay Bukayley with the president,
(32:57):
lots being said of him because he has dramatically lowered
crime to the point where El Salvador now is maybe
the safest country in the world. But at what price.
He's getting a lot of time, He's getting a lot
of airtime. He was elected the president of l Salvador
(33:21):
at the age of thirty seven. He you know, Muslim heritage,
Christian upbringing. He's a pretty secular guy. Used to be
a lefty, formed more of a populist movement, strong business acumen,
(33:46):
very populist, strong with social media, said he was going
to bring down gang activity. He did, but since taking
office he's maintained a ninety percent approval rating because he's
(34:07):
very good online. He deployed soldiers to the Legislative Assembly,
marching troops into the building wearing riot gear, stating after
he sat in the speaker's chair, now I think it's
clear who's in control. I'm just telling you this is
(34:31):
who he is. What does that imagery share show you
almost kind of sort of a dictator, declared a state
of emergency with the legislature's approval. But of course the
soldiers in the assembly, I mean, are people that are
(34:54):
going to disagree with him going to get dragged out
and shot. But this was back in twenty twenty two.
When he declared a state of emergency, it empowered him
to suspend constitutional rights, no due process, no right to assembly,
mass arrests. The declaration was supposed to last thirty days.
(35:14):
It lasted much longer. He's extended at thirty seven times
and it's still in effect. People have been imprisoned without trials.
He's incarcerated kids younger than twelve. Their prison system is
(35:38):
notorious for having over one hundred men to sell, no
mattresses to toilets, twenty three hour and thirty minute lockdowns
in a day. It's violent crime down. Absolutely, He's scaring
the living out of everybody. I'm just saying that he's
(36:04):
riding high on the reputation and he's happily taking back
the l Salvadorans that have left his country and have
entered here illegally. There's just importance to noting he's not
the warm, fuzzy conservative leader that maybe some on our
(36:28):
side of the aisle are portraying him. To be. Tough
on crime is one thing, lawless dictator is another, and
he leans that way more than the other. Just saying
ten past the hour, we come back. Something you just
(36:51):
must here to enjoy, all right, shared some of this
guy and his skill set. Steven Miller is a former
Homeland security advisor. He's now deputy chief of staff to
Donald Trump. He is smart, He is really smart, and
(37:22):
the Trump administration has now taken the leash off and
they're letting him deal with the media when the president's
president and when he's not. And a lot has been
made in the media about these illegal deportations of criminals. Listen,
(37:47):
just sit back and listen to just a few minutes
of this exchange between the assembled media and Steven Miller
on recent deportations the.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Return Guys, do you know the difference between a deportation
order and a withholding order?
Speaker 4 (38:04):
Do you know the difference? Any of you? Please? Do you? Well,
we're not in the government, but so you didn't spend it.
Speaker 3 (38:11):
You couldn't even spend you couldn't even spend seventy two
hours over the weekend learning the distinction, even even writing
and talking about this whole time.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
Just raise your hand. Does any you know the difference
between a deportation order? And how do you know that?
How do you know he's a member of quitting with
our government and his government?
Speaker 3 (38:32):
In other words, his government has for mister own intelligence
that he's a member a mister team.
Speaker 4 (38:37):
First of all, do you dispute that he's an illegal alien?
Do you dispute that he's an illegal alien?
Speaker 1 (38:42):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (38:43):
And do you dispute that as an illegalalien, we are
the rights to support.
Speaker 5 (38:47):
Him and he went through the legal process. So I
want to be very what I'm getting from this conversation
which is educational for me?
Speaker 3 (38:58):
Is that not one person in the media the difference
between a deportation order and a withholding order.
Speaker 4 (39:02):
Is that a fair statement. You're learning about this off
for the first time right now, I guess so, okay.
Speaker 3 (39:06):
So the deportation order means a judge has said he
must be deported.
Speaker 4 (39:11):
From the country. He has no right to remain here
any longer. He must be removed from the country.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
So his only options are to be deported to his
home country or another country.
Speaker 4 (39:22):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
There's no other option. He doesn't get to stay here,
he doesn't get to live here. He has no future here,
he has no right to be here. He's an illegal alien.
So when you keep saying return, because you've been spun
up by the open borders advocates, you all seem to
be opering under the illusion that he would be able
to come to the United States and just continue to
live here illegally.
Speaker 4 (39:40):
That's not an option available to him.
Speaker 3 (39:42):
His only choices in life are to live in Al
Salvador or to live in another country.
Speaker 4 (39:46):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
There's no other option, legally or otherwise, because he came
to our country illegally.
Speaker 4 (39:51):
Do you understand that.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
As a matter of policy, does the administration believe that
immigration judges, because they're.
Speaker 3 (39:59):
Under DOJ, that their orders can be overruled by what
the administration wants?
Speaker 4 (40:02):
Is that a general matter of policy? Well, actually so
specifically is the.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
Attorney General has authority to overrule the immigration for and
that's actually by statue. Yes, other questions Stephen on the
Golds part, the president who.
Speaker 6 (40:14):
Secretary at the suggests that they're lining up them.
Speaker 4 (40:17):
That's already. How many people do you expect to be
tagged in this program when the president announces it this week?
Speaker 3 (40:24):
If he actually announced os, I'll let Secretary uh Letnik
provide that update.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
But I agreeciate that administrations will to support a million
on documentary people and much more than that, much more.
Stephen also of the ten much more than a million
deportations were sent to El.
Speaker 4 (40:42):
Salvad over the week. As what sort of process did
they can get as mandated by the Supreme Court?
Speaker 3 (40:48):
They they well, are you talking about the alien enemies? Yes,
the the so first of all, a number of those
are misentertainings. Again, those are the standard removals of El
salvad Orians to El Salvador and without you seed to
be confused about this legal aliens Trimmel Salvador again, he
(41:09):
deported to Wel Salvagors.
Speaker 4 (41:10):
Do you will appreciate that, like tens.
Speaker 3 (41:12):
Of thousands of El Salvadorians have been deported to El Salvador.
You seem to be under the impression that El Salvadorians
living in our country illegally just get to stay here.
Speaker 4 (41:20):
They don't. They get arrested and deported.
Speaker 3 (41:22):
Then the fact there MS thirteen, This was an extra
priority on our reporting them.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
There you go, just and it goes on for six
more minutes. This education media is doing their best to
try to spin what he's saying around, but you're hearing it.
Do you know the difference between this and this? No One,
You couldn't spend time over the weekend to research what
(41:47):
you're writing about. This is brilliant. I guarantee you there's
more of him to come in future shows. On the
Morning Show with Preston Scott, Seventeen minutes past the hour,
when we come back Blue Origin, Yeah, showing how hip
(42:13):
and contemporary we are. Word now that's old, that's all right.
Twenty two past the hour. Congresswoman Camick next hour got
a manly minute still coming and more Blue Origin. You
(42:35):
know what Blue Origin is. That's the space program by
Amazon dot Com. That's Jeff Bezos's space program. And and
so they had their first ever all female crew send
(43:00):
into space ten minute flight, landing safely in the dirt
in New Mexico. Leg it's New Mexico on board Katie Perry, Yes, yes,
Katie Perry, along with Bezos's fiance, the young lady who
(43:26):
seemingly cannot keep her breasts out of television, Lauren Sanchez. Boyd,
does she love to show herself off? My gosh, she
goes to funerals dressed inappropriately. Television host Gail King, film
(43:46):
producer Carrie Anne Flynn, NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bow, civil
rights activist Amanda uh Win new in, Oh, how funny
the crew is on television as I'm speaking, and Katie
(44:18):
Perry saying, what a wonderful world while she was in space.
They touched down in Texas, not New Mexico. And it's
interesting because they they they hit the ground a lot
cheaper than ditching in the ocean, no doubt. But I'm
thinking that might that might that might hurt a little bit,
(44:42):
might want to see a chiropractor after one of those flights, anyway,
can I can? I'm going to be totally honest with you.
Was there any thought or consideration of having a dude
(45:05):
in their all female crew? Now, if I'm not mistaken,
and I could be wrong, I think Bezos is one
of those guys that thinks men should not be competing
against women. But do you see where I'm going? I mean,
(45:27):
and all this is the headline Blue Origin launches Katie Perry,
all female crew into space, complete safe landing. Good for them,
And you know what, space tourism. Jeff Bezos probably footed
the bill for this, he can afford it. But space
tourism is a thing that Bezos, probably more so than
(45:51):
Elon Musk, wants to put dabble in taking people up
five minutes up in space, little weightlessness, see the world
from up there, look around, and then come on back down. Okay,
(46:13):
if that's something people want to do and can afford
to do it, awesome, good for them. Seriously, that's fine.
But just this all female crew is that? Would that
have been an all female crew with a dude on board?
Of course it isn't. That's how we've been we have
(46:35):
been impacted by this stuff dramatically. So twenty seven minutes
past the how we're going to come back, reset the
big stories in the press box. Get ready for the
second half of the Morning Show with Preston Scott.
Speaker 2 (46:50):
Thought or a story you want to share, Write them
at Preston at iHeartRadio dot com. Yes he knows how
to read. Well, actually it's producer. He doesn't know how
to read. Welcome to the Morning Show with Preston Scott.
Speaker 1 (47:18):
Sad News kicking off the big stories in the press
box this hour another rip current fatality and I say
another because this is a broken record every single year.
(47:39):
Generally you don't see many rip current deaths in the
late fall winter because generally the only people getting in
the water are people that know, and they're usually out
there maybe surfing or diving, and they've got wet suits on.
(48:04):
They know, they know the drill with the flags, they
know the drill with rip currents. And Lakeworth Beach, Palm
Beach County, one teenager seventeen year old died drowned in
a rip current. Two others seriously injured. Another seventeen year
old and a twelve year old got stuck got stuck
(48:28):
in the rip current and we're not taught, or we're
taught and panicked. Obviously, we don't know to our in
serious condition. They survived, but they were underwater for an
extended period of time, so we don't At this point
the story, we don't know if there's brain damage, we
(48:51):
don't know. Here's what we do know. Double red flags
mean closed, don't go in the water. Red means high hazard.
Purple means marine life dangers, sharks barracuda in the water,
jellyfish in high numbers, Yellow, medium hazard, Green, low hazard.
(49:16):
But here's the tricky part. Rip currents can exist in
perfectly calm, green flag waters. Now there are ways to
identify them. I'm putting all this stuff back up. I'm
pulling the blog up that I did last year. I
did blogs on teaching you how to see a rip current. Literally,
(49:41):
it's a video that teaches you how to identify a
rip current, what to look for, what it looks like,
what it looks like in calm seas, and then what
to do. Literally, a lifeguard in Australia goes out, puts
himself in a rip current and says, this is what
you don't do, this is what you do, and if
(50:02):
you can just learn these simple skills and you're an
average swimmer, I would contend if you're not at least
an average swimmer, you just shouldn't be out in water
that can knock you off your feet and pull you out.
You just shouldn't be That's just my personal conviction on that.
If you're an average swimmer or beyond, here's what you do,
(50:26):
and it's really a piece of cake. Now, if you're
in double red water or red you're fighting all kinds
of things. They're not just rip currents, notably stupidity. There
are some that would say, well, this is the thinning
(50:50):
of the herd when people go out and double red
flags that you know, if you're that, this is how
this is how nature works, and we just thin the
herd out. I'm not that person, so I wouldn't say that.
I'm just saying that's what some would say. Dan Driscoll,
top civilian official in the army, looks like he'll be
tabbed to take over the ATF. There needs to be
(51:13):
a massive overhaul and there needs to be a revisiting
of I mean, Pam BONDI needs to get involved in
a couple of cases like now and we'll talk to
Lee Williams about that. See what's going on and China,
(51:33):
Kevin O'Leary says, us holding all the cards. It's even
getting worse for China. Now they need to move to
make a deal. He believes that Trump has offered them
two opportunities to waive an olive branch at and to
you know, to come to the table and work out something.
(51:54):
Right now, the world is aligning against China. All of
the regional Asia RIM Pacific RIM nations, they are all
coming together and they're sitting down the negotiate with the
United States. China is gonna be left holding the only
sign in the party and looking silly. Forty minutes after
(52:17):
the hour, next segment needs just a tad bit of explanation,
all right. I titled this segment w question mark Part one,
(52:45):
Part two's Next Hour. This gives you a suggestion that
we have too many stories for one segment that fit
underneath this and these troubling stories. Now, I try my
(53:07):
best to walk that fine line of making sure you're
aware of things going on, trends and culture, and at
the same time not just bum you out and ruin
your world. All Right, The nature of news leans negative.
That's why it's news. You know, news negatives starting with
(53:27):
same two letters. Right. It's just kind of a thing
that the information that warrants news categorization tends to lean
a little bit negative. You need to be aware of this,
whatever that might be. Now. In this case, FBI is
(53:48):
involved in the arrest of a seventeen year old kid
from Waukesha, Wisconsin. Allegedly he did killed his parents, killed
his mom and his stepdad part of a plot to
(54:10):
overthrow the United States government to assassinate Trump. Apparently shot
his mom and stepfather back in February, but their bodies
weren't discovered until recently. Facing nine felony charges, two counts
(54:34):
of first degree homicide, two counts of hiding a corpse,
three federal charges related to conspiracy, use of weapons of
mass destruction presidential assassination, he's not entered a plea. The
cell phones of the two parents were taken to Laramie, Wyoming.
(55:03):
They recovered a three fifty seven thirty eight special AMMO,
which is interchangeable with three fifty seven ammunition sometimes she
was a thirty eight plus to reduce the recoil. Fourteen
thousand dollars in cash. The two cell phones were found
(55:24):
on him. He was driving the vehicle blowing into his stepfather.
After getting a search warrant for his phone, they found
that he was part of a group called the Order
(55:45):
of Nine Angels. It is a satanic occult group created
in the early seventies by a guy named David Mayad.
He's a British neo Nazi. According to some, it's the
(56:05):
most dangerous far right terror movement in the world. Second
story is Pennsylvania's governor Josh Shapiro had his home burned.
(56:36):
The Governor's mansion was burned on the inside, not the outside.
Guys bragging about doing it. He's been arrested. Won't use
his name either, charged with domestic terrorism, aggravated arson, aggravated assault,
criminal homicide. The governor and his family were in the home.
(56:59):
He threw malot cocktails through a broken window that he
broke with a hammer. How he gets in the perimeter
of the governor's mansion is beyond my understanding. He's not
a fan of Trump. Is this related to the Jewish
(57:24):
faith of Shapiro? No idea doesn't seem Seems like this
guy's just got some screws loose. He's already had a
few incidents walking into court. But he yeah, he admitted
how he did everything he did, remember it. These segments
(57:45):
are called wh question mark, what the heck? And this
is part one, Part two, next hour. This makes you
scratch your head. What's going on? The violence? And you
know we've had violence since Canaan Abele Right, I mean
(58:07):
it's we're sinful, It's what we are. But some man
forty seven pass got a manly minute?
Speaker 7 (58:22):
More coming up next, It's time for another edition of
the Metal Minutes mor Prssel's Golt.
Speaker 1 (58:40):
Friends. This is this is big stuff. Male by birth,
man by choice, and we're not talking about that. See
it sucks that we now live at a time where
I have to explain man by choice. No, no, we're
not talking about that kind of choice. We're talking about
(59:04):
the choice of a male to embrace the ideals of
being a man, not oh what will I be today?
Will I be a guy or will I be a gal?
I don't know, Prince of Princess who knows. No, we're
not talking about that. We're talking about skills, in this case,
(59:27):
developing a mindset of manliness. Now, this is big. Teach
your son how to take stuff apart and put it
back together. It's easier now than ever because you can
videotape taking something apart, and now you got a oh,
(59:51):
now I remember how that goes and what order. I
would start with something like a TV remote or something
that's all old and busted. Take it apart, take out
the little circuit panels in there and the buttons, and
clean them and put them back together. Who knows the
(01:00:11):
remote might start working again, I don't know. But whether
it's that, whether it's a simple machinery, whether it's an
erector set, Teach your son how to take things apart
and reassemble them, because that skill set is called problem
solving and it will pay dividends in years to come.
(01:00:40):
There you go, manly minute on the Morning Show with
Preston Scott. I have stumbled upon another Doze success that
I'll share as we get to the visit with US
Congresswoman Cat Camick. This is incredible. They have now canceled
the Department of Veterans Affairs and unreasonably priced fifteen point
(01:01:03):
three million dollar contract. It was a contract for salary, survey,
data and analysis. They were paying three point nine million
dollars annually and the market price is five thousand, five
(01:01:33):
thousand for that same work. They were paying three hundred
and eighty thousand dollars a month for minor website modifications.
The work wasn't even being done by one internal VA
software engineer spending ten hours a week. Here's my point
(01:01:56):
in bringing this up, veterans, this is why DOGE is cutting.
This saves your benefits. They're finding inefficiencies and wastes of
money allocated to the VA that's going to these ridiculous
contracts and waste of money which takes money away from
(01:02:20):
providing care and benefits to veterans. When we come back,
Congresswoman Cat Cammick, as we literally turn the page on
(01:02:40):
the rundown, we say, good morning friends, Welcome, ruminators, ladies
and gentlemen, boys and girls, males and females only. Welcome
to the third and final hour, at least for today,
of the Morning Show with Preston Scott and Preston. He
is Jose and this is us. Congresswoman Cat Cammick, how
are you today?
Speaker 6 (01:03:01):
Good morning fellas.
Speaker 1 (01:03:03):
Let's get it over with. Florida Gators won a national title.
Go ahead, brag.
Speaker 6 (01:03:10):
I mean, I wouldn't want to make any of our
our friends feel bad. He supports the JV team. I'm
not sure what happened. You know, they just they didn't
make it in the tournament.
Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 6 (01:03:24):
I mean, but you know, maybe there's always baseball. Oh wait,
we swept y'all clean in baseball too.
Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
Actually, no, you didn't sweep.
Speaker 6 (01:03:35):
We could keep going on this if you really want.
Speaker 1 (01:03:39):
I want to talk soccer.
Speaker 8 (01:03:42):
Oh okay, okay, okay, Look, we got to take what
we could get. Look, while we're on the subject, is
Congress does Congress need to step in here on a
couple of things dealing with the NCAA. First, the issue
of NIL.
Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
I'm of the opinion Kat that that we need to
if they want to be treated like professionals and get paid,
they need to sign a contract which obligates them to
the school for X amount of time.
Speaker 6 (01:04:15):
So to answer your first part, yes, Congress unfortunately is
going to have to play a role in the NIL
issue because it's reached such a place that we have
antitrust issues. You've got kids signing contracts, a transfer portal
that has become the wild West, and we're dealing with
(01:04:38):
incredible amounts of money. But there's also this issue that
you know, I, as a good capitalist, believe that these students,
because they are students first and foremost, they have a
right just like if somebody was to invent something as
a student on campus.
Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
Absolutely, you know we're we're.
Speaker 6 (01:04:55):
Doing a side hustle. They have a right to make
money off of the brand they create. How do we
facilitate that without this turning into some big old mess.
I think one there needs to be a conversation of
the transfer portal and how many times you can transfer,
because roster management is a real issue, and if we
don't get our hands around this, what's going to end
(01:05:18):
up happening is we're going to end up going to
a revenue sharing model, and the revenue sharing will effectively
violate Title NIND because the only real revenue generating sports
and because they're set up this way, I mean, it's
men's football, right, it's football, and then it's men's basketball,
and you don't see men's baseball being a revenue generator
(01:05:41):
or any other sports. And so that would then turn
into a complete annihilation of all the other sports on campus,
which then would lead us down the road to unionization
of these athletes, and we don't want these kids becoming
employees and subsequently and do paying athletes and employees of
(01:06:01):
these colleges and universities. So yeah, we've had several hearings
on this. We need to figure out a way to
thread this needle, to really address this because I do
think these kids have a right to make money off
of it, but there's got to be some guardrails here
because they are also receiving funds in the forms of scholarships.
(01:06:23):
And when you have universities giving f one fifties and
Lamborghinis and the collectives are generating this money for these kids,
it's getting out of control very fast.
Speaker 1 (01:06:36):
US Congressman Kat Camick with me. We're going to stay
with the subject of sports for just a moment. On
the other side, notably men competing against women. Get an
update on what's going on there. More to come with
our favorite congress person. Is that what we say now?
Congressperson Kat Cammick with us on the Morning Show with
Preston Scott. Back with US. Congresswoman Kat Camick with us.
(01:07:06):
When she steps in the negotiations, it's two against one
because she's carrying her baby daughter with her now, and
I loved it the last time you shared that she
walked into those major negotiations with the House speaker. That
was that's going to be an awesome story to tell, Kat.
But I'm wondering, now that you know you you and
your husband are going to have a baby girl, has
(01:07:28):
this issue of men competing against women ramped up even
a little bit more?
Speaker 4 (01:07:34):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (01:07:34):
Yeah, I think you know you your perspective certainly changes
when you become a parent, and there's just an appreciation
that you have going through the process. I mean, so
your eyes open up in so many different ways. And
I remember, you know, when I was growing up, I
(01:07:55):
played three sports a year all through elementary, middle and
high school. And one year I got injured pretty bad
and wasn't able to play softball, and so I wanted
to still do something active, and so I said, well
I want to I'll try golf, you know, something that's
a little less impact, low impact. And the school told
(01:08:19):
me and my mom that they didn't have a girls
calf team and that I wasn't allowed to play on
the boys team, and that was that. They were like, no,
it's the boys team. And I said, well, what do
I do and they said, you got to find four
girls and you can create your own team. And we
did that. And that's kind of how it's always been,
is you know, they've kept especially at the high school level,
(01:08:39):
certainly you'd want it. At the collegiate level, you get
to a place where it becomes dangerous, and we're seeing
that with a lot of women getting very very seriously
injured competing against men. And there's just a biological difference
that the science has stated is real. You can claim
(01:08:59):
that you're a woman all day long, but your DNA
and your physiological state is telling the world and you otherwise.
And it's a very real concern. And I think if
people thought that I was tough and a pain in
their side before, wait till they meet Mama Bear. Because
if anyone ever tries to make my daughter compete against
a biological man, hell and fury will reign because we
(01:09:24):
should never put our daughters in a position that would
compromise their safety.
Speaker 1 (01:09:29):
At what point do you feel like this just is
going to have to be settled by the Supreme Court
to make the NCAA, but even Congress address this appropriately
where it's not a birth certificate. Ken Paxton's dealing with
an issue right now in Texas where they were teaching
somebody how to get around the loopholes by adjusting a
(01:09:51):
birth certificate. That's why it has to be DNA. It
has to be something else.
Speaker 6 (01:09:56):
Yes, I mean, there's going to have to be some
evolution in how people are recognized for their biological sex.
I mean people are just looking to game the system.
And I mean we saw that with the Leah Thomas,
you know, the man who tends to be a woman.
You know, it's people will just claim, oh, I'm a
(01:10:17):
woman all of a sudden because I was a subpar
you know, male swimmer ranks four hundred and thirty two,
and you know, all of a sudden, I feel very feminine.
You know, I feel like a woman today. So there
you go, I'm going to compete against the girls. There
are very real consequences to this. It's over a thousand
you know, national titles, really big championships that have been
(01:10:39):
in women's sports that have gone to men here in
the last four years. So it's not just the physical
safety side of it, but it's also the opportunities of
which title line was designed to give opportunity to women
and girls, and we're talking lost scholarships. When we're getting
to the Olympic level, it does become a safety issue
(01:11:00):
in even more sense. I mean, look at the boxing
we just as the Republican Women's Caucus sent a letter
to USA Fencing, they had a female fencer who declined
and refused to compete against demand. Yeah, and they disqualified her.
I mean, this is just absurd that we're having this conversation.
(01:11:21):
But you know, I think that's where President Trump has
done such a great job, just absolutely taking a hard
stand on their two genders. We will recognize only two genders,
and your government documentation will reflect as such. And it's
going to be a long difficult road to try to
figure out how we undo all the weird wokeness of
the last few years where people can mark non binary
(01:11:45):
weird checked boxes. It's caused a lot of problems with
birth certificate passports. I mean, lord knows our office is
getting some very strange calls right now.
Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
Cat stand by, we've got sixteen minutes past the hour
more to come. An easy issue to navigate, but I
maintain it is very very simple, male and female sixteen
past the hour back with the US congress Woman Caccamick,
(01:12:24):
Florida's third congressional district, fearless fighter for not just Florida,
but the Constitution. And I don't know, do you say
tomato or do you say tomato?
Speaker 6 (01:12:39):
I say it's been terminated.
Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
Tell us more.
Speaker 6 (01:12:46):
I know people are probably like, what, no, what we're
going to get in the weeds here a little bit.
So for many, many years, I think we've had five
iterations of it. The United States has had what is
called a Tomato Suspension Agreement, which is supposed to protect
domestic producers from you know, anti it from from dumping
(01:13:08):
from foreign competitors. A buzz And again we're in the
weeds here. It's both NAPA USMCA. These trade deals never
had protections for seasonal and perishable items commodities, and so
you can't treat a tomato like you would a piece
of steel. Right, there's an expiration date on a tomato
(01:13:29):
versus a piece of steel. And just to give people
an idea, you in the last four years have had
over one hundred violations by the Mexicans against the United States,
zero consequences. The Biden administration looked the other way, and
what our producers would sell a box of tomatoes for
(01:13:52):
for let's say, sixteen dollars a box. When Mexico dumps
their product on our market illegally, it drops it down
down to about four dollars a box. Right now, in
the state of Florida, we have American growers, multi generation
families here in Florida that are not picking. They actually
(01:14:13):
pulled out of many other operations across the state. And
you have very good product just dying on the vine,
but they can't afford to pick it because it's there.
It's a loss right. And so right before President Trump
instituted Terrace, Mexico ramped up the amount that they were
dumping to the tune of forty pounds in a single day,
(01:14:38):
is in some cases onto our market, and so to
really just put a button on it. In early two thousands,
we had about two hundred and fifty family farms in
the state of Florida that we're producing and selling tomatoes.
Today there's twenty three. And if this agreement didn't get terminated,
what would happen is next year you would have zer
(01:15:00):
tomato producers in the state of Florida. And let's remember
food security is national security, so that We worked very
closely with the Commerce Department, the White House, and the USDA.
It's actually the Commerce Department that has jurisdiction over this,
and for the last several months we've been having meetings
with these agencies, and last night it was official the
(01:15:24):
United States terminated this agreement and told told our Mexican
partners that they're not interested in renegotiating. They have been
bad partners in this space, and now we're going to
be putting America first, and that means our growers and
producers here in the state.
Speaker 1 (01:15:40):
So the next growing season and words getting out to
those twenty three farms and ostensibly anyone who wants to
now maybe get back into that place.
Speaker 6 (01:15:49):
Yes, I spent I spent all afternoon on the phone
with our tomato growers around the state and they were also,
I mean, this this impacts our Texas growers are California growers, right,
and they all I mean, it was like a game
of telephone. People were so excited. I had grown men
crying saying we actually may have a shot next year
(01:16:12):
because it's a total loss this year for them. And
I mean, this is really really tough to stomach when
you've got big developers coming in and saying, hey, we'll
buy We'll buy your property and turn it into a
housing development. And we all know if you can't produce
your your nation's food, your food insecure, and that becomes
(01:16:34):
a national security issue and we cannot rely on our
foreign friends or adversaries for our nation's food supply. And
so this is not just a heritage issue. But we've
got producers around the state and the country who are
breathing a big sigh of relief that the Trump administration
(01:16:55):
took very swift, napologetic action.
Speaker 1 (01:16:58):
Well done, you man. That's see, this is why we
we love you, Kat, because this is stuff that impacts lives,
not just it not just impacts those farmers, impacts, like
you said, everybody's home and good for you. This leads
me perfectly to something we actually almost joked about that
(01:17:20):
there were two hundred and eight Democrats that voted against
the Save Act And I just want to give you
a couple of minutes to comment on that.
Speaker 6 (01:17:29):
I mean, it's a no brainer. Everybody wants election integrity
unless you're trying to achieve the system right. And we
said for years there, why do the Democrats want open
borders and then you compare that to oh, well, they
wanted HR two a couple congresses ago, which I'm sorry,
HR one, which would have allowed for non citizens to vote,
(01:17:51):
and it started making sense. The agenda of the left
has always been about dependency and control. Grow the size
of government, make people dependent on these programs. Americans have
been waking up for years, especially once Trump came down
those escalators. People started waking up to, oh, my gosh,
the system has not really been working for everyday Americans
(01:18:15):
who are trying to do everything by the book. We've
been lied to, right, and so they the dem started
freaking out, saying, oh, how do we get a whole
new class of voters that can help us permanently cement
our place in Washington. Let's import them, right. So here
we are ten and a half million illegals later, and
(01:18:36):
Democrats have been fighting to get them to vote. The
Save Act was simple. You have to prove your citizenship. Currently,
it's an honor system. You check a box that says yes,
I'm a citizen. No one follows up on it. Save
Act requires any form of ID. It could be a passport,
it could be a Firth certificate, it could be a
number of things. There's six different pieces of documentation you
(01:18:56):
can use, and the left is said, oh, this is
going to prevent seventy million married women from voting because
they change their names. That is the biggest crop of
crap I've ever heard. And I cleaned that up, Like
Hillary Clinton came out on Twitter and I went after
her because it's ridiculous. It's one you're insulting women. You're
(01:19:17):
telling women that they're too stupid to change their name
and get their documents in order. I'm sorry, have you
ever applied for a job. You have to say on
a job application if you are a citizen, and you
have to prove it because if you are in visa
or if you're in the country illegally, you have certain
restrictions on a visa, or you're not eligible to work
(01:19:37):
if you are in the country illegally. And so it's
just really frustrating that people are buying into the same
fear mongering that the left has used as a tool
for decades. But we cannot ensure the integrity of our
elections if we don't know for sure it's just citizens
of voting. So it's becoming a messaging war, and Republicans
(01:20:00):
don't get aggressive. We're going to lose that war.
Speaker 1 (01:20:03):
I wish history we're kinder in that particular topic, but
it's not. Cat. You're the best. Thank you so much
for the time this morning. We'll talk again soon.
Speaker 6 (01:20:13):
Appreciate it. Go Gator.
Speaker 1 (01:20:15):
That was cold. That was cold. Cat, come on.
Speaker 6 (01:20:19):
You're always welcome in title town.
Speaker 1 (01:20:21):
Thanks very much. Oh you mean Green Bay. Thank you.
Kat Cammick with us this morning on the Morning Show
with Preston Scott.
Speaker 2 (01:20:35):
It's The Morning Show with Preston Scott on News Radio
one hundred point seven w FLA. All right, I stand
corrected Blue Origin.
Speaker 1 (01:20:54):
When it landed in the dirt in Texas, it shoots
out out a puff of air a millisecond before touching down.
Allegedly that cushions the landing. When the big when the
drug shoots pull out the main shoots. All you heard
(01:21:17):
was this female crew screaming like girls. Seriously, it was hilarious.
It's like they're at a on the ultimate roller coaster.
They were laughing and screaming. Good for them, Glad they
had a good time. Talked about that last hour. Big
(01:21:37):
stories in the press box this morning on the Morning Show.
China has retaliated by halting Boeing jet orders. Boeing is
trying to get itself into the China market and compete
more favorably against Airbus and So. China has told the three,
(01:22:02):
of course, independently owned airlines. China said, you will not
buy from Boeing and so air China, China Eastern Airlines
and China Southern Airlines probably owned by China. They are
canceling their orders of well, I mean a lot of
(01:22:26):
airplanes they were supposed to take delivery of. Let's say
that's ninety eight, one hundred and seventy nine planes. So
Boeing's crying right now. This is not going to help Boeing,
But you know what, go sell the rest of the world.
(01:22:47):
You know, fair Bus wants to keep selling to China.
Let them. I'm standing with the president, standing with the
Kevin O'Leary's of the world. Yeah, there's some people that
are very nervous out there, no doubt about it. I
get it, understand the nervousness. This is a risky play,
(01:23:09):
but it's one that had to happen. It just did
Reuter's reporting that Dan driscoll is going to take over
at ATF cash Bettel's been moved out. That was a
temporary He wasn't going to be the head of ATF.
Now there are a lot of us that think ATF
should just be abolished. There are other ways to do
(01:23:31):
what ATF was allegedly supposed to do, but it overstepped
their bounds and Pam Bondi needs to take a good
hard look at some of those cases and if Florida
rip current leaves one teenager dead, two others injured, Lakeworth Beach, Florida,
Palm Beach County, and sadly will be doing more of
those stories, but we will take the time to try
(01:23:54):
to help those of you that are new to the state,
those of you that have people coming and visiting the state,
will have sources for you to go to to learn
how to avoid that tragedy. Forty one minutes after the
hour that seems short, it was you have to push
(01:24:22):
through the writing. Fox News story trans Zizian Zizion cult
suspect dragon from court after shouting allegations of detran transition murder.
The dude's name is Alexander Leatham. He's twenty nine. He
is a very unattractive man. Imagine how unattractive he is
(01:24:46):
as a woman. I'm just telling you there is nothing
you can do to fix that. I know that that's
very booked by the cover kind of thing, but I
just want you to listen for a second. This is
(01:25:09):
we've talked about this Zizion or Zizian cult. Claimed an
officer said that he should be killed for being transgender.
He is one of five members of a group of
(01:25:32):
of radical vegans that apparently believe they're trapped in the
wrong biological body. He's claiming that the officer told him,
not her, which is what the article keeps using. He
she her. It's the articles using her and she instead
(01:25:54):
of he and him deserve to be shot for being
transgender while he had a gun and I was he chains, okay, whatever, dude.
The court has been hormonally detransitioning him, he claims, for
(01:26:14):
a quarter of a decade as part of state sponsored
conversion therapy programs. He said, if I'm killed in police custody,
I was murdered, all right. Now here's the story, and
this is what I want you to listen to. Letham
(01:26:37):
and another face attempted murder charges after a rent dispute
with their landlord Curtis Lynne ended with a Zizian follower
being fatally shot by Lynn in self defense. Hold on,
this man was stabbed in the back with a samurai
(01:26:57):
sword that came out his chest. He bought this property,
placing twenty foot trailers shipping containers on the lands, who
could rent them to people who are unable to afford
the cost of living in California. He lives on the
property as well. They jumped him. Hold on, I'm not done.
(01:27:29):
The man gets stabbed in the back with a sword,
pulls a gun, fires and kills this one. You'd think, okay,
he survived, it's over, but it wasn't. He was attacked,
(01:27:51):
He got his gun out, shot one of them, shot
two killed one. He's seriously injured, but then was stabbed
to death by two other of these Zen members ziz
members shortly thereafter. Don't tell me that these people that
(01:28:22):
are dealing with gender disorder are not dealing with mental illness.
We have accepted. There's a thing called roid rage where
athletes on high doses of steroids have these un restrained
(01:28:45):
fits of anger and rage. What is this? Only this
is more dangerous? How many more of these types of
stories are we going to see before four? We accept
the idea that maybe there is mental illness here and
(01:29:09):
for those not engaging in violence, they need help and support,
an encouragement. To this type of person, they need medical
institutional imprisonment. Perhaps they'll get it, because wow, forty eight
(01:29:37):
minutes after the out that was part two of what
the heck? Well? This is a different way to take
the vows. The Little Vegas Chapel in Las Vegas is
(01:29:59):
offered ring a special four weddings on May the fourth,
as in May the fourth be with you. For the
second year in a row, they are offering Star Wars
themed weddings. There's two packages, Yoda One for Me and
(01:30:24):
Love Star. There are shirts promoting saying till Death Star
to his part. Both wedding packages offer an efficient dressed
as either Princess Leah or Darth Vader, custom Star Wars music, bouquets, boutaneers,
professional photography, video of the ceremony, and a Star Wars
(01:30:46):
themed Weddings certificate. The Love Star package six hundred dollars.
Yoda one for Me includes round trip limousine services and
a unity sand ceremony is eight sixty. If I'm doing it.
I'm going all in Yoda, Yoda one for me now.
(01:31:09):
It would be awesome if the officiant was dressed as Yoda,
like just a little person, talked kind of backwards. I
can't do it. I can do Yoda. I can do
it for like limited lines. I'm just laughing too hard.
Speaker 2 (01:31:32):
Brought to you by Barono Heating and Air. It's the
Morning Show one on WFLA.
Speaker 4 (01:31:41):
Laughing too hard you are.
Speaker 1 (01:31:44):
I just started the program today with a look at
the Holy Week timeline and Tuesday Tuesday he he had
some fun at the expense of the brute of vipers
(01:32:09):
and then wandered up to the amount of olives and
gave the all of a discourse. And all of the
events are found in all four gospels. So that's where
we were today. Big stories in the press box. Chiner
retaliating again. They can't do this for long. Allegedly, better
(01:32:31):
than one hundred nations are negotiating with the United States.
It's happening very fast. Good, good things will be all
right this whole course. New head of ATF Dan Driscoll,
top civilian official in the army, is likely taking over.
According to Reuters, Florida rip current leaves one teenager seventeen
(01:32:54):
year old dead, two others, a twelve year old and
a seventeen year old, injured critically. Pay attention to the
flag's friends, learn what to do, covered a lot of
other ground a lot of you gotta be kidding me
stories today, and of course, an incredible visit with US
Congresswoman Kat Cammick. It'll be on our Conversations podcast later today.
(01:33:16):
All right, friends, back with you tomorrow. Have an awesome day.
God bless
