Breakdowns For Breakfast
A weekly music podcast hosted by Danger and Monster, where they provide track-by-track analyses of albums, typically focusing on "heavier" music. Each episode they take a different album and do a full track by track breakdown on it. Everything that is referenced in a song gets a sound clip for support. The hosts dissect and argue over one album per episode, discussing what they like and dislike. While they favor heavier genres, they cover fan requests, whether it is an album or a soundtrack. They talk about it like the two music nerds they are. The music comes first but the sillies are not far behind.

Visual Kei is a “genre” of music that is more focused on the visual aspect of it’s bands than it is of the music. While usually rock and metal, visual kei can be just about anything. Join Monster as he gives a brief history of Visual Kei and gives a list of some of his favorite bands in this style!

Pierce the Veil's 2012 album, Collide with the Sky, gets put on the breakfast table for a breakdown thanks to a request. Monster feels like a KING FOR A DAY and Danger gets THE FIRST PUNCH in the face. Danger needs to run some errands but Monster tells him "I'M LOW ON GAS AND YOU NEED A JACKET".
Women in rock and metal has always been a cool thing to see. One of those pioneers back in the 40’s and 50’s was a woman who went by the name Big Mama Thorton. This blues and R&B singer from Alabama had more impact on rock music than a lot of others much more famous than her. This was the first Breakdowns For Breakfast episode we recorded. We started the series with an album we both were very familiar with. The first few minutes introduce the show and we also talk about why we wanted to make this particular show in the first place. We had no idea that we would get this far and still have more to go.
