If you don't, Hey, happy Sunday, Happy Sunday.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Here.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
I hope it's a great start for you and only
gets better. Man, we will get to I guess the
easter thing. Laying an egg? That would be the best
way to describe one of the games yesterday. Hey, be
sure to check out the Fox Sports Radio YouTube channel.

our Fox Sports Radio videos on YouTube. Good morning, fellas,
I guess listen. Laying an egg? That would apply to
the Detroit Pistons. Right, had a nice fourth quarter lead
and then the Knicks went on a twenty one nothing run.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Not good.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Didn't work out for the Pistons. Also with describe the
Lakers who did not show up from the second quarter
on y smacked in the second quarter thirty eight to
twenty against Minnesota and the Timberwolves end up winning by
twenty two points. Good Lord Schwartz, syndicate, what do you
have to say about this fool's gold ragtag bunch that
(01:06):
is the Los Angeles Lakers. Huh.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
I feel pretty comfortable with the idea that if the
Timberwolves shoot fifty five percent from three pointer during the series,
the Lakers are not gonna win the series. If Nasrie
goes six for nine from three, again, uh, they're not
gonna win. Brian, I feel comfortable with a McDaniels, it's
eleven of thirteen from the field, the Lakers are not
(01:29):
gonna win the series. I feel comfortable saying that if
they shoot maybe forty percent from three in Game two,
I don't feel a little bit better about the Lakers
winning the series. The Lakers just, you know, we talked
about this on the other day, Like Lebron's record in
Game one is horrific for how good of a player
he is, he had he didn't have a single stat
in the box score for his first twelve minutes of
(01:51):
action last night. I get Luca is becoming more of
the focal point of the offense, but you certain need
number two to show up and on got going eventually,
but the Lakers just didn't play well in Minnesota. Shaw
lights out. I think the series price now is Lakers
getting you know, plus one fifteen. I might play that
(02:12):
by the time the show's over. But you think the
Lakers just gonna lose outright this series? I need to Okay,
Minnesota shoots that well, like I's playing no defense, It's
just not gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
Hey, good morning, guys. I think you guys know that
I was in Augusta and then now Hilton Head last
week and I was supposed to fly out last night,
but unfortunately they boarded the plane and de boarded the plane.
So boy, so don't you hate when that happened. Have
you guys ever been on a plane that you were
on the plane and got deboarded and the plane got canceled?
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Have you been on that.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
Portion of it for four hours?
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Yeah? Yeah? So yeah, about six hours yesterday. And yeah,
so I'm stuck here in Charleston, South Carolina. Sorry, there
could be worse places to be stuck. There's some really
good play is to eat, good places to hang, and
good thing. My buddy here with my right hand man,
lives here about ten minutes from the airport. So yeah.
(03:08):
So anyway, I probably watched more NBA yesterday than I
maybe ever watched in my life. But I'm not really
an NBA fan. I'm more of a college basketball fan,
even though I will bet a lot of NBA props,
but they're all analytical driven, so you don't really have
to actually watch each game when you have a team
that's working with you. So but anyway, yeah, I watched
(03:31):
that twenty one oh run, and yeah, I watched a
couple of the game. Watched most of the Laker game,
and I thought maybe after Luca made that, like I
don't know, I guess it was considered a half court
shot at the end of the third was that half
court right? I don't know, it's still I think they
were down sixteen though, but it just gave a little
(03:51):
momentum for half of a second and he said, oh, well,
we're still down sixteen. So yeah, it was fun. There
are really some crazy runs these teams go on. The
Timberwolves really look like the better team all around, really
giving it to Lebron and Luca at home though. Making
twenty one threes in a playoff game, that's like a
(04:12):
team record. It is a team record for Minnesota, who
have caught fire at the right time. They've won eighteen
in their last twenty two the Lakers are in you know,
they're in trouble this series at home, like they lose
that first game. They really seem to have, you know,
great team chemistry, and Minnesota and the Lakers just haven't
(04:33):
come together clearly completely yet with Luca. It seems like
running the show. I still like I believe it or not,
though I still think the Lakers win this next game
and the series goes six or seven. But I just
think Minnesota is an all around better team. I don't
know about you.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Guys, Yeah, they might be. That's the thing where it's funny.
After the game, Anthony Edwards, he talked about, hey, it
took us a little time to gel, and now we're
rolling right. Like they got rid of Karl Anthony Towns,
they have Julius Randall. It's like we expect success to
be microwaveable, you know, and sometimes it takes time to gel.
(05:12):
And I think you could say something similar to the Lakers.
I know they've done well right. You could look at
some of the numbers of the upper echelon teams they've
beaten since the All Star Break and since they've acquired Luca.
But playing in the playoffs is a different animal. And
it's gonna take a little bit of time to gel.
I think that's the scary thing for the Lakers is
it's not just the Timberwolves went crazy from three and
(05:35):
hit twenty one shots from distance. It's Anthony Edwards was
just okay. You know, Anthony Edwards scored twenty two points
on twenty two shots. That's not an efficient evening at all.
He's capable of playing much better, and yet they still
won by twenty two, you know, So you could look
at it and say, hey, the t Wolves went crazy
(05:55):
from three? How often is that gonna happen going forward
in the series. Might not happen again where they hit
twenty one shots, probably won't. But Anthony Edwards is gonna
have much more efficient evenings than he did yesterday, and
yet they still walked all over him. So I think
that's one of the scary things if you're pulling for
the Lakers. I also loved Anthony Edwards taunting Luca. You know,
(06:17):
we always talk about this is that sportsmanship right there
where he's doing the three gesture right in Luca's face,
And I loved it. I loved it because.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
They're grown men. They could tauk to each other.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Yeah, ap, so this is sports It is not lovey dovey.
But I think the main thing is the t Wolves
are here to win. They're not scared. They're not here
to kiss the ring. You know the Lakers and they
have long memories. It was just last year where Luca
was dancing on Go Bear and saying, you can't off
and guard me. And this is sports man. So I
love the tea Wolves giving it back to the Lakers
(06:49):
and back to Luca last night. We'll see if there's
more of that in this series.
Speaker 4 (06:53):
Well, they to be fair, they could not stop Luca.
The problem is they stopped everyone else. And I think
that the most noticeable thing I'm curious to see how
the plays out moving forward is the Lakers and especially
that second and third quarter, just could not get a
shot and made around the rim, Brian, and they're gonna
have to figure out how to be more efficient around
the rim, whether that's upfaking, whether that's cutting, you know,
(07:15):
one more pass essentially, because that second quarter, really, especially
when the Wolves on that run there just was they
were just out physically in the Lakers at the point
of attack, right right at the rim, and you can't
do that you can't be punk like that and expect
to win a playoff series. So I'm curious. Look, everyone's
gonna be a Lakers seton next game. I mean it
(07:36):
seems I don't know I'd be on the Lakers two.
I guess I haven't made a wager in that game,
but they do. Because if they don't win this game,
that that that series is done, right, I mean you
have to basically, you know, they get get this once
put this one. Of course, win won in Minnesota, which
I think it'll be hard for them to win, and
then obviously find a way to to come back home
and win either two or win one to Is it
(07:57):
two three two? Is that how we do the NBA?
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah, we don't do any of them. Yeah, even the
finals aren't two three two, it's.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Two one one one. Yeah, okay, interesting. Yeah. So because
if you think the way, if you think the like
the Wolves are gonna win the series, betting them to
win in six would be a good wager because they
win that game six at home.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Then yeah, yeah, they'll be at home for six. So
if you like him, that probably be the spot to Yeah, yeah, it.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Was, and the like just I mean Lebron wasn't good.
You know, his his game win records, what now twenty
thirty one and twenty four. I think after that, after
last night, kind of surprising, right, You would think that
you would start fast in a series. Maybe for him,
he figures things out in game one and then game
two he's able to make those adjustments. But the Lakers
just didn't play well and the Wolves played awesome. I
(08:46):
mean he could be that simple, right, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Guys you notice, Yeah, all the stars were out of
MSG for the next game. God, there was I think
more stars at that game than over in LA.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
I mean there was like, well, it's a salurday in
Los Angeles, crack there things.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
To do, buddy, Oh okay doing New York City? Yeah,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
I feel like passion in New York baby.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Star in Macro, a ton of celebrities court side. But uh,
the Knicks didn't disappoint though. They had that run that was.
I watched the game. It was like, Wow, what a
run though, And you know, I asked my guys here
that I watched the game. When I said, is that,
I mean how many times this season are there twenty
one zero runs in a game? Better? Yet, that was
(09:28):
in like the fourth quarter. I mean, right, I think
this would be a good series. Though this will go
six or seven games to probably, but the Knicks are
probably the better team here, uh, and they'll advance probably
in this one. But it's easy to say when they
have a big first victory though. But I watched a
lot of this game.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Hey man, that that Nuggets win. Yeah, that Nuggets win
was huge against the Clippers. That's probably the game of
the day. That was back and forth and Russell Westbrook.
How about Russ sitting a huge shot twenty four seconds left.
I just thought about that, guys, where you think about
how confident you need to be. Russell Westbrook is a
(10:06):
thirty percent career shooter. From three thirty percent is not
good at all, and yet he just had unshakeable confidence.
Jokic passes him the ball and in his head, he's like, oh,
you messed up, leaving me alone, you know what I mean?
Like to be that confident, to be a thirty percent
career shooter, and he's been around for a long time,
a long time, and to have that much confidence. I
(10:29):
was happy for him hitting that shot because most of
the time the focus on Westbrook is on what he
does wrong. Yeah, and at least for a minute, that
wasn't the case where it's like, hey, he does provide
some good things too. It's like, yeah, he's done that
for his career. It's just the focus is on what
he does wrong. But that was a huge shot. And
also Christian Brown a huge shot in overtime as well
(10:49):
with the minute left. So Nuggets found a way to
pull one out. That's going to be a great series.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
And well, the west Park thing was funny for me
because he made the three. The next possession he just
dumped off his leg and theydn't even get a shot off,
Like he's like the experience, He's like, I made it
three and then just just next posestion just I think
I think he j asking for the ball and Westbrook's
just dribbling and dribbles off his leg out of bounds
and I don't even get a shot then get a
(11:16):
shot up. I that's a that's a a bad loss
for the Clippers. The Nuggets in the first half especially,
look like they had no energy whatsoever. They looked at
the crowd, looked apprehensive. There wasn't a lot of juice
in the in this in in the arena and get
that big lead. You got it bigger with that, those
(11:37):
those those Jokic second quarter when he's not and then
how about that, how about that so crack? How about
this yeah Jokic has when he's on the court, they're
plus twenty. I believe in the season he's off the court,
their minus ten, aren't that correct? So right, I mean
that's about.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Right something around those yeah, worse.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
So it's like there's something there's no So there's really
no way to try to wait on that, right, because
beginning the second quarter, you don't take the opponent for
the second quarter because he comes back in at some point.
So I decided, I'm gonna do this for the postseason.
I'm gonna take you can on one of the sports boats.
You can wage your own first to basically race to
ten points in the second quarter. So I took the Clippers,
(12:17):
the one that got scored ten points before the Nuggets did.
I might do that every Nuggets game because I just
think that those first six minutes of the second quarter
when Yokach is not in, Nuggers don't score, They don't
score all.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
It's interesting you think it would be baked in the line,
but maybe it's just an algorithm.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
It's just first it was you know, of course it's
not minus one ten. It was like minus one twelve,
you know, you know, he can't be minus one ten
both directions. It's minus won twelve both directions. But you
got to figure like most teams that have two stars, right,
like Kawhi plays that they begin the second quarter when
Harden sits, Yokach is out, there's no other I mean Murray,
(12:52):
I guess, but he doesn't play like that. You know,
when Lucas sits out, Lebron's in. When Lebron's out, Lucas
in like somebody everyone sort of had as the one
guy still in the game, the Maths, I mean, the
mass The Nuggers don't have that guy. So I'm kind
of curious that that holds a small It's not a
lot of money, just a little bit. I'm just kind
of curious if that's like a system play I can
make that. You know, they might lose in four games.
(13:15):
That's the end of the five games, at the end
of my system play, But I am kind of curious
to see if that if that holds throughout the postseason.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
You're the short syndicate you don't have to ask anybody.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
I bet I had. I had Lakers plus ten and
a half for the first half. It took them live
it due de Vincenzo hit that like forty foot to
end the first half. I almost just, I just I
almost turned the game off. I was like, I just
I did go to bed before game was over. But
I'm not watching the rest of this so I'm just
(13:44):
not I'm just not doing it. It was some bad
way to yesterday. It was not the best day. So
we're looking at bounce back today.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
As far as this Nuggets Clippers goes, guys, I mean
this this series can go either way. I mean, the
Clippers healthy, playing their best basketball this season, but we
know the Ugets have championship experience, the most dominant player
in the league. So we really do have some good
first round matchups. I think this is the one that
is destined to go seven games, though, so it really
(14:12):
really should be fun. We have some good basketball ahead
of us.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
No, it's a great today, I think today basketball that
great night game night game probably yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
Okay, you know, yeah, there's some some wide spreads, you know,
three games when the thirteen's range right there, right, Yeah,
a little rough.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
It's a little rough, but I think it's going to
be a rough even be the NBA is not going
to look great for the first three games in the
night game though, had a chance to be really great tonight,
but I the first three games I think are going
to be a little bit, a little bit rough for
your moment. And some hockey today's and baseball early on some.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Golf you could see if Scheffler can come back from
four strokes here.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
Yeah, I was the baby whether to put Scheffler top five.
It's like minus one sixty Yeah, don't know. I was debated.
I looked at this morning, if I should wait the
finished top I'd rather bet.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
That than bet them to win the tournament. I know
there's some crazy odds I've seen. I was like, this
is crazy.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Plus plus nine hundred right now. That feels a little
bit heavier. It's it's to be uh, But I mean
you could finish, you know, top top five. You know
you get a you get a minus one sixty five.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
I think I saw so good parlay leg right there.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Worth worth playing.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
Yeah, throw that in with your I don't know your
Celtic's money line playing.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
Yeah, one sixty five right now?
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Okay, yeah, not bad, right, No, not bad at all.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
I rather bet that than having to win the tournament.
But I mean, you know, the guy is the best
player in the game.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
So you could put it with Thunder money line and
something money then minus one o seven barely doesn't throw the.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Calves money line in there too. How's that gonna go?
Speaker 4 (15:52):
Right?
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Plus forget we said any of it?
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Plus one eighteen for all that? How about that? I
honestly I'd rather just bet chef for minus one sixty five.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
All this conversation will be good for the midnight Cambra's
anonymous feeding.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
Craft.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
That's fine.
Speaker 4 (16:11):
Everyone is doing Thunder, Celtics, Calves money line today. Money.
The question is you need one more leg to make
it worth it?
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Right?
Speaker 4 (16:19):
Because I think it's like it's you know, you put
those three together right now, it's minus two seventy seven,
right because the Thunder or minus one thousand, the Cellers
are minus a thousand, Calves are minus eight hundred. Okay,
the question becomes today, what is the last leg of
this parlay? I think we can spend our show today
(16:40):
figuring out what I have it. I have an idea
of what I would like to do. I know Crack
is not going to play this wager at all, but
there's good. You need one more legs, so you need
either a basketball, hockey or baseball maybe Scottie Cheff for
top top five is how.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
You do it.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
But we need one more craft the parlay today?
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Yeah, maybe a Cavn Looney five rebounds right there?
Speaker 4 (17:00):
Can you do? Can you do the SGP like that?
You probably can?
Speaker 3 (17:04):
Oh, yeah, we'll take it.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Yeah, toss that in there should be fine because you're
not you don't have a warrior's leg, you know, so.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
That game I I'm not putting in the parlay because
I think that's that's fifty to fifty game. You don't
want to do that.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Yeah, that's a little before we run real fast. Chris
Purfett or a technical producer. He's got something here.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
No, I was just trying to help out Jeff here.
I was kind of like skimming the baseball matchups today.
I do think was it Red Sox or hosting the
White Sox. Yeah, Hawk is still looking for his first
career of victory, but his era at home is is
pretty good. I feel like that's kind of a nice
rebound and I'll always take a chance to fade the
White Sox.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
I might have already made that exact wager, but I
was sort of hoping we'd spend the show talking about it. Oh,
but that is my other leg.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
I've I mean, hey, if you can wait until Tuesday,
you could just fade the Lakers. You know, add that
in there as a surefire leg to your parlay money
Wolves at least plus five and a half. You know,
how's that gonna go?
Speaker 4 (18:06):
You're you're on the Lakers losing this series of four,
aren't you? You all?
Speaker 2 (18:11):
I know that far?
Speaker 6 (18:12):
No?
Speaker 2 (18:12):

Aaron I.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Thought we made I thought we made a pact on Friday,
Brian to never talked about him again.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
You know what I thought about, Jeff. You know, every
now and then, well it's common you and I will
be talking about whatever we're talking about, and Crack is
just firing making bets left and right. You know, we
might need role reversal here like Crack and I will

Speaker 4 (20:25):
I can make some more draft wagers. I only have
about twenty of them. I can make some more if
you would like me to. Wow, Absolutely, drive Light goes poorly,
I'm gonna be broke. If it goes decently, well, I'll
be fine. If it goes very well, I'll have enough
money for everything I ever wanted in life. We'll find out.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Yeah, well, I'll tell you what. We'll delay the pain.
How about this, Instead of going straight to Aaron Rodgers,
we go straight to Isaac Lowenkron. Jeff, that sounds that
is the pain there a little bit crack and I
will share our thoughts coming up, but I low with
the latest first, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (20:59):
I low?
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Good morning guys, and yeah, usually.
Speaker 8 (21:05):
I try to be modest, But me instead of Aaron
Rodgers is a great trade off for America and the world.
Ahuska aside, well s trotkate one of the NBA playoffs
on Saturday night as the Minnesota Timberwolves. Actually, you know what,
instead of me recapping game one of the Lakers Timberwolves,
(21:25):
why don't we turn it over to someone who's even
better at chronicling sports results. How about the tweets of
Urban Magic jumps and guys.
Speaker 7 (21:36):
You ready all right?
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Sure, yeah, let's hear up Magic posted quote.
Speaker 8 (21:40):
The Minnesota Timberwolves dominated the Lakers in every category, winning
one seventeen ninety five. Edwards was good, scoring twenty two points,
but it was Jaden mcdaniels's offense and defense that made
the difference. He ended with twenty five points and nine rebounds.
Coach JJ Ruddick did a great job all season, but
(22:03):
he didn't do it good job for game one.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
Unquote.
Speaker 8 (22:06):
Now, as you can imagine, guys, basketball fans everywhere on
social media were appreciative of Magic's unique insights. Matt commented, quote,
two teams played basketball today, the team with the most
points one led by the player who scored the most points.
Then at adrenaline at three to one point eight seven,
(22:27):
added quote thanks for the update, chat GPT, and finally,
Cam simply commented quote, why are you such a weirdoh
unquote anyway. Also on Saturday night, the New York Knicks
defeated the Detroit Pistons, won twenty three to one twelve
thanks to a twenty one to dozing fourth quarter run.
Jalen Brunson scored thirty four. Stanley Cup playoffs faced off
(22:49):
on Saturday, and on Saturday night, the Colorado Avalanche won
a Dallas five to one, scoring three third period goals
in a span of four minutes and seven seconds. Nathan
McKinnon had two goals and assist. In Major League Baseball
Saturday and night, the Giants beat the Angels three to two,
just by two home runs by Mike Trout, giving him
eight for the season. Finally, guys, in college baseball, on Saturday,
(23:11):
Ole Missus Austin Fowley hit a grand slam home run
and a twelve to two went over South Carolina. Now,
the reason we're relating this to you is that the
fan who caught Faly's grand slam was none other than
his own mother, Jennifer. Back to you, Oh, very cool.

live bets, and so much more. Okay, let's rip the
band aid off this Aaron Rodgers stuff because Crack's interested
in this. I am too, Jeff, you know, sorry, buddy,
but have to bear with us for a couple of minutes.
But I do think this part is interesting. Yeah. Rogers
was on the Pat McAfee show on Thursday and just
you know, boiling it down to a couple of sentences,
(24:12):
he was setting records straight. He was detailing his last
meeting with the Jets, where he flew across the country
on his own dime, sat down with the new head coach,
Aaron glenn In twenty seconds in he was like, yeah,
we don't want you, and Rogers had a problem with that.
And so you know, Crack does an awesome job. He'll
he'll text some like topics to maybe wiyh in on today.
(24:38):
He'll hit me up the night before. He's got some
really good ideas and one of them was with Rogers
and he said, is he doing this for attention? Like
why does he do this?
Speaker 4 (24:47):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (24:48):
Why is he going on McAfee's show. So that's partly it.
But the other part is he can't let anything go.
He takes everything personally. And what I took away from
this that works for athletes. Remember Michael Jordan on the
Last Dance and it's just a popular meme of him
and I took that personally. It fueled him. It worked
(25:09):
for Michael Jordan. It has not worked for Aaron Rodgers.
It works against him that he takes everything personally, but.
Speaker 4 (25:17):
It's not it's that and it's also just spending every
segment that he does on the media, in the media,
I should say, complaining about something every time Yes, it's
always complaining, complain about this, complain about that I was
wrong this, and that he's still talking about COVID five
years later. Like it just it's a non stop, grievous
(25:41):
airring machine. That's all he does. Yeah, it's never you know,
it's just it's exhausting to listen to him talk and
always be offendive. Everything we talk looks if the Jets
called him and said, hey man, we're releasing you. He
complained about that too.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
You can't do this, you can't do this face to face.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
And the thing about it too, is that it's always
a one side discussion because he knows that Jets aren't
gonna come out and say that's not how it went,
because there's no purpose in the Jets talking to rub
he's not their quarterback anymore. And Aaron Glenn doesn't need
to be defended for his actions because we don't know
what actions are because only Rogers talked about it. He
said in this clip right that in the first twenty
(26:17):
seconds I'm using these words right, he was basically told
he was being released, and they said they talked for
fifteen more minutes. That does that I've been released. Now
I'm not a quarterback, don't get me wrong. Fifteen minutes.
What are you guys talking about for fifteen more minutes?
Or is it more likely that you got released at
(26:37):
the end of the discussion like most people are, and
none of what you said really happened. There's exaggeration about
what actually happened. So, like, I just it's exhausting man
to cover someone who just complains all the time about everything.
Speaker 8 (26:56):
And.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
He's not good enough to complain about these things. You
mentioned this the other day about the competitive nature. It's
very true. I let your point about, Like, you know,
if these were other quarterbacks, they would take it personally
and they would.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Like Tom Brady, right, Like, Okay, tom Brady is in
this Aaron Rodgers situation. He flies across the country, sits
down with his team twenty seconds in, we don't want
you anymore, tom Brady. And then Tom Brady, he's gonna
go on the Pat McAfee show and say, you know,
I'm open to anything with Pittsburgh.
Speaker 3 (27:30):
I might.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
He would be fuming, and Rogers is just like shoulder shrug.
I might hang him up, like where's your fire man?
It's just not there.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Yeah, you know, I actually watched the interview myself too.
I know everyone's tired of hearing about Rogers at this point.
I think he knows what he wants to do, too,
but he does like that attention. You know, you're like
strawing it out in the last minute, and I don't
think we're going to know anything until literally weeks after
the draft. So personally, I think he's gonna be you know,
(28:00):
I think maybe you guys will agree it's either Steelers
or retire, right, I mean, I just wish he'd tell
everyone sooner or later so we don't have to talk
about it anymore. But based on last year, I still
think he could. Believe it or not, I do think
he could still be productive and maybe take the Steelers
pretty far so, but I won't shed any tears though
if he ends up retiring. Yeah, what are you guys?
(28:20):
You know? Be productive though? At least like Jeff, do
you think he actually and Brian? You guys you realize
he could still play though, right or not?
Speaker 2 (28:28):
Real?
Speaker 4 (28:28):
Yeah? But he can still play. But here's the deal, crack, Like,
do you is his level of production good enough or
enough to warrant all the other things that come with
Aaron Rodgers?
Speaker 9 (28:40):
Right?
Speaker 2 (28:40):
Because that's to sign.
Speaker 4 (28:42):
We talk about distractions, right, and what here's what it means.
And people always you know, push back on distractions. So
it basically means this, right, Like, let's say I'm in
the locker room, okay, and Aaron Rodgers goes on a show,
let's say McAfee and says something silly. Then on Wednesday
I got to answer for that locker room reports in
a company that sayd hey, do you hear do you hear?
(29:03):
Rogers talk about this situation that happened, and then I
have to answer a question or just say no. Of course,
that's what distraction is. And when you're so good that
no one cares like you just oh he's good enough.
I mean, it's it's a famous like Jimmy Johnson's story
about Treichman sleeping, right, Like you've heard that story where
he said, again I don't know if this is actually
(29:23):
what happened, but he said something like, you know, if
a guy was sleeping in the team meeting room, I
would cut him. And someone asked him, well, what if
it was Troichman. He goes, I have him a pillow,
but you know, like right like here, so like it's.
Speaker 2 (29:35):
The more you do, the more you get away with,
that's right.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
So so are you signing up for all of this?
Are you signing up for we had a bad game
and my quarterback is on Tuesday talking about that game
and or talking about other things on a sports program.
And again, this is McAfee does a great job with this, right,
I mean this is he gets Aaron Rodgers to say
(29:58):
whatever he wants on the So it's signing up for
all of that, crack. And that's where if you're the Steelers,
like I think they would take him. Now now I
think Thursday changes that equation. I mean Thursday, I have
Steelers to drop the quarterback at plus four fifty. I
got a great number. I don't know how they they
They don't come out of Thursday without a quarterback of
(30:20):
Rogers not signed yet, they can't rely on it. That's yeah,
if he wanted to be, he'd be a Steeler.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
Right, and he does and he's dragging his feet. But
that's the other thing though, Crack is kind of like
building off what Jeff said right there. Rogers is just exhausting.
You could speak to this better than anybody, Crack. How
many times you've flown from Vegas or to Vegas. There's
a big difference in how those flights feel. The flight
to Vegas is nothing but excitement, like Vegas. Baby, let's go,
(30:49):
We're gonna strike it rich. The flight from Vegas, maybe
people are hungover, they're grumpy, they lost some cats, they
gotta go back to their town. Rod feels like the
flight from Vegas always, you know what I'm saying. And
that's a big thing.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
Ryan, That's it really is. It's the line from casino
to uh they send you home, uh, you know, to
your little old lady and the bank examiners. You're right
on the way home. Is so different. But you know,
I gotta tell you, though, Jeff's a team player. He's
if they interviewed him, he would do the Torrello ones.
That's my quarterback man.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
And of course you do that, but you don't. You
don't like it, right, and it's not enjoyable to do that.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
And by the way, you know what's funny. Let me
throw this at you because Luka Doncic, think about Luca
and think about Aaron Rodgers for a second. Okay, So,
Luka Doncic, we all know we got traded from Dallas
goes to the Lakers and the Mavericks GM. Nico Harrison
has just been like, Defense wins championships. You know, we
(31:54):
didn't know about the conditioning, YadA, YadA, YadA. So Luca
does this interview with ESPN's Malie Andrews. Malika asks him, Hey,
you know, Nico Harrison keeps saying defense wins championships. What's
your reaction to that. Listen to what Luca says right here.
Speaker 10 (32:09):
He is said and the way he's talking right now.
I never say anything bad about him, and I just
want to move on. The fans my ex teammates always
keep it hard. It's time for me to move on
from that.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
It's time for me to move on now. If the
same thing happened with Aaron Rodgers, he gets traded, his
GM is bad mouthing him. Do you think Rogers in
his first sit down interview would be like, you know what,
it's time for me to move on. He would never
move on and it doesn't help him. That helped Mjay,
(32:41):
helped Jordan, he could fueled him. It just weighs Rogers down.
It has not helped him, and he can't get on
from stuff. Just can't do it.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
You're right.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Well, hey, thanks Drowartz, I appreciate that.
Speaker 4 (32:55):
Man, Not about the Lakers, would you about Rogers?
Speaker 2 (33:00):
There you go? All right, We've got Bill Krackenberger, professional
sports handicapper, Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran, I'm Brian know,
by the way. With Lee Corso, you know he's gonna retire.
It's kind of funny when Lee Corso announces he's gonna retire,
most of the world is like, ah, no, Lee's gonna
leave and no more headgear picks. And compare that with Rogers.
(33:24):
Right now, we're just like, please retire, Please just go away,
to get out of our face. At this point, you know,
it's completely different. Hey, score bigger at bet MGM when

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Okay, we each have one selection. We pull it together
for a greater payout. Crack. We start with you, what's
something you like?
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Man, I am going to steal something. I very rarely
do this. I hope I hope he wasn't going to
do this. I'm gonna steal that chef for the top five.
I like that, Jeff, right when you said it. I
kind of like that, So I'll put that.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
In my prot okay Joe top five Lakers money line
for Tuesday. It's no, I don't want to brind.
Speaker 3 (36:15):
On this view. Come go for it all in.
Speaker 4 (36:18):
There's ultimate veto. I think I think you have veto
power for the parlay.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
No, no, no, I don't possess that type of I will.
Speaker 4 (36:25):
Take I will take Celtics first half minus eight and
a half today. I've talked to you guys about this
for a couple of years. I like betting first quarters
in the NBA four to one so far, and doing
that in the in the postseason. Well, I guess the
playing games can postseason. I don't want to do it
here because the numbers in the first quarter for some
(36:45):
of these thirteen point twelve point favorites are like four
and a half five. Sometimes it just doesn't hit and
it's just like that's a lot in the first quarter,
five point lead. But the first half, though, I think
the Celtics are much better than Magic, and I think
they just over the course of the first half, this
becomes a much bigger lead. I think. I think all
three favorites cover a day, but I'll go Celtics first
(37:06):
half here minus eight.
Speaker 3 (37:07):
And a half.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
Okay, all right, I'm gonna go with Kevon Looney of
the Warriors. I'm gonna take him over four and a
half rebounds. I think it's a good leg for a parlay.
It's juice. It's a minus dollar fifty five. But you
just look at it, it makes sense. You look at
Shane Goon and also Steven Adams kind of like the
Twin Towers line up. The Rockets have been leaning into that,
(37:31):
and I expect them to do that against the short Warriors.
The Warriors are just undersized, and so if you've got
Shane Goon and Steven Adams out there, you're gonna have
to have Kevon Looney out there a decent amount of
the time. So I like Looney to get to five
rebounds today. That's my leg that I would add in
on this. What what's the Scheffler one? Is its dollars
(37:51):
sixty five? Yeah, yeah, gm, okay, I just checked it out.
I like that one. I'll get you the exact the
number on the parlay here in a second with what
we're working with, because I cannot find the top five bet.
Speaker 4 (38:06):
Yeah, you have to, so you have to go it's.
Speaker 3 (38:08):
It's rolled down to the bottom of it.
Speaker 4 (38:10):
It's in there. You have to just like it there.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
You need binoculars.
Speaker 4 (38:15):
You know it's in there. I saw it too on
the app. I did wager on separately. So if you
go to like all and then you scroll down to
it's in there somewhere.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
It's there. Oh, there we go top five specially, go
it's in there. Yeah, dollars sixty five. There we go
plus four fifteen the official payo. I like it for
a three leg parlay ladder. There, what do you think,
crack don't just settle with Scheffler minus a dollar sixty
five had Celtics first half and Cavon Looney. Now we're
cooking with three right, Well, we're at definitely, you know, like,
(38:54):
let's throw the Calves in their money line. You know
why we stopping with.
Speaker 4 (38:57):
The national total over against the Raw He's a team
total over against the Rockies is hit in the majority
of games this year. The Rockies picture is horrendous.
Speaker 2 (39:07):
You know, I was at WrestleMania yesterday. I needed like
Carlay hit here, you know, so throwing legs on him.
Yeah it was fun, man, it was. I'll tell you
what the entrances for WWE stuff, especially WrestleMania. Like see
him Punk is walking out there with Living Color playing
(39:28):
a song live. He always walks out to Cult of Personality.
The band Living Color was there playing the song live
as he's walking out. It's a spectacle, man, it's a
lot of fun. I know that pro wrestling that might
not be everybody's cup of tea, but the spectacle. How
could you just be like, yeah, yeah, that's that place to.
Speaker 3 (39:45):
Do it for him? He just sold out the Allegiant
Stadium right like insane.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Yeah, yeah, it's a lot of fun.
Speaker 3 (39:52):
Man. You might have been the only guy who ready there,
but doesn't matter. You had a good time fun.
Speaker 2 (39:59):
It's pretty verse crowd, right, You had all types, all
types taken in the pro wrestling rich Can you imagine
betting on that crack, you know, and then Hayman double
crosses you and you lose your BET's right? All right?
Coming up next, we're rating the quarterbacks who will end
up being the best QB in this draft? Class. Oh
what's going on? Happy Sunday to you. Happy Easter if
(40:22):
you get down that way. Lots to get to here today. Man,
looking at the best quarterback from this draft class. That
is a tricky assignment. We'll dive into that. Be sure
to check out Fox Sports Radio YouTube channel. Just search
Fox Sports Radio on YouTube and you'll see a whole
bunch of video highlights from our shows. And be sure
to subscribe to you always have instant access to our
(40:43):
Fox Sports Radio videos on YouTube. Okay, so rating the QBS,
if you're rating these guys, that's one assignment you could
boil it down to, who do you think is gonna
end up being when it's all said and done, Who's
gonna be the best quarterback from this draft class? It's
not one of these like top draft classes. There are
(41:04):
some personnel evaluators that say cam Ward if he was
in last year's draft class, he would be the seventh
prospect off the board, and he's almost for sure going
number one overall in this draft class. Let's keep it simple.
Would you say cam Ward is going to be the guy,
Shadoor is going to be the guy somebody else? Who
do you think is going to be the best QB.
Speaker 4 (41:25):
Jeff, I mean, I is no canna say none of them.
I just I don't really I you know, the Titans
that we get to debate whether they have to take
cam Ward or not. I get why they're doing it.
If you know, a lot of success of young NFL
players is about scheme and personnel and situation more than talent,
(41:51):
And this draft might be a great example of that,
where you know, could was Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes
and Lamar are going to be good at anywhere they played,
probably with varying degrees of success. But these quarterbacks feel
like situation is so valuable and important to them. Right
if you Kim More goes to Tennessee, which seems like
he's gonna do you know, the wide receivers are okay,
(42:12):
running backs okay, offense lines okay. Like you know, he's
gonna have to put a lot on his plate. Where
like let's say Sear Sanders goes to Pittsburgh, for example, y,
you know, you got better wide receivers, your offensive line
is young, but there's some really talented pieces there, you know,
Jalen Warren and maybe another running back, and you got
Mike Tomlin that defense, like you, it's a better situation, right,
(42:36):
you know, Tyler Shuckin and uh Milroe and Quinn rs
Jackson Dart. You know, you go to the the Browns
the second round, you might have a good opportunity to
be good right early in your career with what's around
you in Cleveland. So the easy answer is it might
actually be one of the second round quarterbacks whoever goes
to Cleveland, you know, just to fancy their head coach
(42:58):
has done a great job with all quarterbacks there. Right,
So but that's gonna bit. But if it's Jadon Milroe,
I don't feel great about that pick. If it's Tyler
Shuckey's gonna be twenty six soon, yeah, I Jackson Dart
to me, he doesn't do it so long way to say,
probably goes to the Browns. I think it's where I
come down on this. But I don't know who that is.
(43:21):
But I could see this being a situation. We look
back on this draft and like we've got other quarterback drafts,
it's like, yeah, I don't know, No, it really turned
out to be a superstar.
Speaker 3 (43:30):
Yeah, because I think that a couple of these guys,
well not superstars but I think they could have decent
careers in the NFL. I mean Ward obviously, Ward obviously
has all the tools to be the superstar. He's got
the arm, the leg, the intangibles, and he'll go number
one in the draft. But he's been compared to like
Jayden Daniels. We saw what he did in this first
(43:50):
year at Washington, So Sanders, you know, kind of a
wild card to me. I think he could be a
great quarterback in the NFL, but I could also see
it going the other way. You know, he'll need to
be in the right situation with the right coaching staff,
and probably will that will benefit him more if he
has maybe some time to learn before being thrown in
(44:13):
right as a starter too. So uh, you said a
mill Roe mill Row, I'm just not sold on based
on his last month or so at Alabama, he struggled
to throw the ball down the field. Maybe he might
not be able to maybe he actually could use his
athleticism or against a lot of these NFL guys. But
(44:33):
you know, Jeff, I wanted to ask you something. One
guy not on the list, Oregon's quarterback Dylan Gabriel, what
do you think about him? You know, just too.
Speaker 4 (44:41):
He's just too small. Oh wow, he's leit. He just
can't see him middle of the field. And Organ's offense
last year was very much predicated on outside throws, outside
the numbers, outside the hashes, and just you can't do
an the NFL. I think he's got a quick release
and he knows what he's doing. I think he'll be
a good backup for me any teams for many years.
But I don't see him being a high level NFL quarterback.
(45:04):
I think his talent is sort of maxed out. I mean,
that's what you would like to draft right early in
the draft, is a player who's talented but then has
more levels like cam Ward. I think we agree he
can do more. Remember cam Ward, guys did not throw
the ball in high school. Okay, that's why he went
to incarnate word. Then he went to incarnate word through
(45:24):
the ball a bunch, went to Wallazoo for two years,
with to Miami for one. He's still raw, like sir
DERF Sanders, I think is who he is by this
point of his like, that's just what he is. So
you could make the case that there's a lot of
growth for cam Ward still available now, whether or not
that's harnessed into success that the Titans to figure that out,
(45:47):
but there's there's room for growth there, just like the
Tiler Trucks twenty six, Like how much how much is
their upwards mobility in his play?
Speaker 2 (45:57):
Well, that's a good point about Ward because you can
see it at times with his decision making where cam
Ward will make some electric plays and make some throws
where you're like that is high level, and then he'll
make a decision where you're like, cam buddy, what yeah,
what was the plan there? And that speaks to his inexperience. Now,
on the plus side, he did in college. He threw
(46:18):
it over fourteen hundred times, so he got a lot
of work in college. But you know, still develop it.
Speaker 4 (46:27):
He played that run and shoot at Washington State.
Speaker 2 (46:29):
A sure, sure, Yeah, it's a different animal in the NFL.
I get it. And that's the other thing that's different
with cam Ward is when you're the first overall pick,
there's a different pressure that comes with that. Oh yeah,
that's a lot different than being a second round, third
round pick. Like the expectations are as sky high as
they can be. And then think about this year's draft,
where you're going to be compared to Travis Hunter, to
(46:52):
Abduall Carter. These are blue chip prospects. They're most likely
going to be very very good, and if you're not
equally productive or more productive, everyone's gonna say that. Like, man,
they could have had Travis Hunter instead of this cam
Ward guy that's gonna come up often. That's a different
pressure to deal with than somebody else that goes later
in the draft. Shaduor Sanders.
Speaker 3 (47:13):
I like him.
Speaker 2 (47:13):
He's a very accurate quarterback. The one thing the knock
on him is just holding onto the ball too long.
He's sort of like a poor man's Caleb Williams, right,
the former USC quarterback that went to the Bears, where
Caleb Williams just holds onto the ball, holds onto it
takes a lot of sacks, and it's just like, that's
not gonna work in the NFL. You can dabble with
(47:34):
that holding onto the ball trying to make something happen.
You can't do that as often as he does. And
Shauduur has that element in him where, yeah, it's not
gonna hit a home You're not gonna hit a home
run all the time. You gotta just look for those
singles you know, you gotta look for like a bunt single,
just get on base, you know, don't worry about all
these home run throws and extending play. So I think
(47:56):
Shauduor is definitely gonna have to work on that in
the NFL. That was a drawback in college. What you
think's going to happen in the NFL. He's got to
correct that. But the accuracy absolutely translates, very accurate quarterback.
Go ahead?
Speaker 3 (48:11):
Any prop bets yet? What any prop draft props? Ye had?
Draft props? Have you dabbled a little bit or not? Really? Oh?
Speaker 2 (48:19):
You know, I'm getting knee deep into the draft props
this week. Crack because I I'm not You might look
down on this, but I'm not an early riser when
it comes to the script.
Speaker 3 (48:30):
No, no, no, no problem. I just wanted to know
it's not the interest that to me like it was
years ago. And let me just be blunked because I
can't get down the amounts I used to get down,
So there's no you know, I used to go back east.
I used to fly back east for the NFL draft.
That's right, used to fly back east. All the different
sports books that had the NFL drafts they were kind
(48:52):
of new to the country, and up until two years
ago they would take decent, you know, size bets, so, uh,
there's no reason for it. I used to get down
giant money on props and had great information, but it's
so tough. Now do sports books have realized that this
is something that can be beat. That's right, So the
(49:13):
limits are are just much less less now. So I'm
just not into it like I was back years ago.
Speaker 4 (49:19):
Wow, I'm I'm looking at my wagers but also looking
some new stuff. So uh, first lineman drafted offensive linman
drafted Will Campbell was like, I don't know, minus one
minus two hundred like two days ago. Mine have one thousand.
Now wow, that's moved a lot.
Speaker 2 (49:43):
There's so some of the Patriots are taken him.
Speaker 4 (49:45):
I yeah, I could, I could listen. I okay, I
I got Will Campbell to be the fourth piock overall
plus four hundred like weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
Oh wow, and it's minus one thousand now good?
Speaker 4 (49:56):
Uh well, no, just first offensive lineman drafted, not but
fourth over Oh no, it's a minus a fish. Yeah yeah,
So yeah, I'm ok at Bet Jones, I got I
got plus four hundred on that. I gave that out. Uh,
I don't think. I don't think here, but I've given
that out. I have. So I've just taken little little
(50:16):
sprinkles on stuff. So for example, New Orange is sitting
at nine. Okay, they swear they're not taking quarterback. So
if they sit at nine, what are the options? In
my mind? Okay, they need a corner. They need a
tight end probably, So the Saints a drafted corner when
I got it the other day was plus twelve hundred. Like,
(50:38):
I feel like that's a position they're gonna draft at nine.
I mean, Will Campbell's right there, he's healthy. They need
a corner in the worst way. May I mean that
that that's a good wager to me? We talk about
value crack. You you will love this crack. Okay. So
I was I was in uh North Myrtle Beach essentially
this past week in Cherry Grove. It's a furthest point North. Basically,
(51:05):
you could get on a beach in South Carolina. Before
we hit North Carolina, you could see North Carolina basically. Okay,
so sports South Carolina's not illegal sports wagering state. So
I told my wife a couple of days when I
was there, Hey, hon, I gotta go to the grocery store,
and crack, I just happened to choose one that was
(51:26):
on the border between North Carolina and South Carolina.
Speaker 3 (51:28):
It's like fifteen minutes from there, right.
Speaker 4 (51:30):
And I just sort of happened to have to go
to North Carolina to get back the other direction and
would pull over at the CVS and put a bunch
of wagers in and then go back to South Carolina.
And I told my wife. I was like, hey, honey, yeah,
I'm gonna be a few minutes late. I'm playing wagers.
And she said to me that audacity to say this
(51:50):
to me, Crack, Do you have to gamble every day?
As she said she said that to me, Wow, I
was like, yes, but these are more like I have
offshore as I use for like dailies. This is all
draft stuff like I Brian, I did a show Thursday fight.
I was writing down sports. I was writing down wagers
like as we were going. I made a note of
them and took my notes to North Carolina and put
(52:11):
some of these down, including what I I think it's
You've convinced me in this Brian shoulder Sanders to be
drafted by the Colts. It's it's not the worst bet.
Like it's it's plausible if he gets to fourteen, they're
sitting there at fourteen. Let's say Lovelin and Warren are gone. Okay,
both tight ends are gone. I mean, it's not plus
(52:32):
five thousand. It's not the worst bet to make. So
I have a lot of these. I mean I don't
know how many are playable still, because I got good
numbers cracked. I mean I don't. I don't I can
list them off, all of them to you. But you
know I got Radius drafted first off its alignment first
I got. I told you I got the Saints draft
of tight end or cornerback. I made both those bets
(52:55):
as well. So we'll see. Uh, Steelers drafted quarterback at
plus four fifty. That's not plus four fifty anymore. So
I got some good uh some good numbers, and I'm glad.
Speaker 3 (53:08):
I think you'll win. I think that the numbers you have,
the times you bet them, I think you win. I
think you'll have an overall winning card.
Speaker 4 (53:17):
I mean, look, if it's it's sort of like the election,
I'm either going to be really wrong or really right,
and that's gonna make it's gonna make your break, whether
or not gonna make money.
Speaker 11 (53:28):
I mean, right, it's not just based on yes. That's
that's why I've written them down. I could get my
notes downstairs, so I sort of have an idea of
like I can still get some money back essential because
I got the good numbers, I'm able to play other
things as well, just to sort of cut my losses
down if I lose that wager. But I feel pretty
(53:49):
good about where I'm at right now with some.
Speaker 4 (53:51):
Of these uh, some of these wagers. Again, just the
markets to me sometimes don't align with with what I
think it's going to happen, or what we've were hearing
is going to happen. So it's it's again like you
just have to look at the numbers and pay attention
every day to what's happening.
Speaker 3 (54:10):
And let me tell you where you were in North
Myrtle Beach. I've spent a lot of time. I spent
a lot of time in Cherry Grove. My buddy lives there.
I spent a lot of time Calibash though right across
the Calibash is unbelievable if you like seafood. So my dad,
(54:30):
you know, my dad was a country guy. People don't
realize like that. People just sticked that from you know,
New York, New Jersey. In my life, my dad was
a country literally farmer West Virginia, Ohio border, and my
mom was of course Italian from the Bronx with my
dad loved going to Calibash for seafood.
Speaker 4 (54:47):
So yeah, it's it's it's a it's awesome. Yeah. We
got to place a little, little one bedroom place in
north North Cherry Grove. Now, so I'm probably spending a
lot a lot of time there going back and forth
every day to make wagers because as as I told
my wife, I do have to gamble every day.
Speaker 2 (55:07):
So yeah, you're investice is a requirement.
Speaker 3 (55:10):
Hey.
Speaker 2 (55:10):
By the way, have you seen on BETMGM the odds
for the ninth overall pick. That's the Saint selection right now?
Speaker 4 (55:16):
Just yeah, it's Jackson Dart's second now, I.
Speaker 2 (55:18):
Just yeah, right, you got Schaduer at plus one seventy five.
The second guy is Jackson Dart six to one.
Speaker 4 (55:25):
Okay, like will okay, So again, like this is where
the numbers don't really align, right, So will Johnson's plus
sixteen hundred, who's a cornerback from Michigan to be the
Saints pick. But then then the drafted cornerback is plus twelve.
Speaker 2 (55:39):
Hundred, right, so right, you could almost take Will.
Speaker 4 (55:44):
Johnson and Baron at plus four thousand, take both of those,
split up your your wager and take both of those
guys and not take the Saints to draft a cornerback
because you get better numbers on the two cornerbacks they
would draft.
Speaker 2 (55:58):
Yeah, yeah, like where Shauduur goes and where now Jackson
Dart goes.
Speaker 4 (56:04):
I don't buy the Jackson Dart.
Speaker 2 (56:06):
I I don't That's what I think is So we've
talked about this, Jeff Crack like, that's why I find
so fascinating about the first round. I think we could
have some fireworks here because these teams differ so much
from player to player. They are only a couple of
guys that are like consensus guys Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter,
(56:26):
the varying opinions on Shador Sanders, someone was always a
top ten pick. Other teams are like yeah, right, no way,
And so I with those differing opinions, I think we're
in store for some stuff where you're just used to
these mock traps and used to a common order. I
think they're gonna be teams that are like, yeah, we
don't think that way at all about this guy, and
(56:47):
they're gonna make some selections that we view as wild,
where they're like, it's not wild at all. It's just
a difference of opinion. I think that can play out
on Thursday night. I'm looking forward to it, man. I
think we're gonna be in store for some.
Speaker 4 (56:59):
As long as if Will Campbell goes fourth overall, I'll
be pretty happy that that. And Steelers have a quarterback
like that. That'll cover my butt I think for the night.
So and then of course if if your Coltston comes through, Brian,
I'll buy you dinner, buddy, Oh.
Speaker 2 (57:13):
Oh please do yeah, Because uh, that's the thing. You
don't have a quarterback. You don't have a franchise quarterback
on your roster. It's not Anthony Richardson, it's not Daniel Jones.
If you're sitting there, if someone falls in your lap
at fourteenth overall, you're taking a tight end instead of
a top quarterback prospect. Why would you do that? I mean,
I I don't. They're probably not gonna go QB. I
(57:34):
think they should. If the opportunity presents itself.
Speaker 4 (57:37):
Okay, so this is so wild. The fourth book overall
on different on different platforms, minus four hundred, Ben M.
Jim it's minus one thousand, huh for Will Campbell.
Speaker 2 (57:47):
Wow, wow, okay, interesting, that's week. Some books are just like, well,
we don't know what's that now. I don't know. This
is where the steam stole.
Speaker 3 (58:00):
It really is not. That's a good point, though, a
lot of books really don't know what to do in
a lot of spots here. So that's the reason why
I don't really bet the Draft too heavily anymore, because, yeah,
they their limits are so small because they really don't know.
But they want to keep it up there. They want
to keep up with the other books. So bet MGM
(58:20):
wants to put a lot of stuff up there because
they want to be competitive. And you know, but it's
scary too, you know, you just don't. They have lost money,
that's right, lost money. I know what I have made
on the Draft in my lifetime. So they've lost money
on the Draft and it's just there for like a
token bed experience. So I get it. I don't like it.
(58:40):
I want to be able to fire unlimited amounts let's
get these guys on the phone. Come on, you know,
on the horn.
Speaker 2 (58:46):
YEA, Well, we'll talk to one coming up, Yeah, you know,
we've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper. Jeff Schwartz, eight
year NFL veteran. I'm Brian.
Speaker 1 (58:56):
No.
Speaker 2 (58:56):

out to Christian Cipolini. We're gonna catch up with them,
hopefully momentarily. But while we're waiting on Christian, let's dive
into this.
Speaker 1 (01:00:30):
From Sunday Splash Check.
Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
Yeah, that's right, So bet MGM. They'll be running the
NBA Sunday Splash Jackpot. Users will have the opportunity to
win a share of fifty thousand dollars in bonus bets
if their player scores the most three pointers on Sunday.
All you have to do is opt in to the
Sunday Splash Jackpot promotion and place at ten dollars plus
NBA players three pointers bet up to one time. If
(01:00:55):
your player scores the most three pointers on Sunday, you'll
win a share of fifty thousand dollars in bonus bet.
So we start with you crack four NBA playoff games today.
Who do you think makes the most three pointers?
Speaker 10 (01:01:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:01:05):
You know, I've actually been doing pretty well with these.
Actually one again last week with Edwards hitting seven threes.
Unfortunately he played last night, so I'm gonna have to
maneuver somebody else. Let's go my other guy, Steph Curry
here today versus the Rockets. He's always ready for the
big game, and they will need him to score tonight
on the road in Game one.
Speaker 4 (01:01:23):
So Steph Curry, all right, I think this is not
the way the promotions should work. It's not the best value,
but I'm gonna do anyways. I'm thinking my guy Sam
Hauser Game one go. Here's my thought process too, though,
is that he is going to play a lot in
(01:01:43):
the second half of this game. If the Cells have
a big lead, like he will get the shots up
and he will have the opportunity to do. So, it's
it's by the way, Brian over one and a half
plus one forty five right now for old Hauser. Wow.
And I also think there's a way. So there's also
maybe a thought of like payt Pritchard to get a
(01:02:04):
double double. He's gonna he'll play again, He'll play a
lot in the second half of this game. Uh, he
gets he always gets a ton of assess get you know,
ten points, ten assists certainly possible. You know you're gonna
have to you know, it'll be a decent number for this.
But it does double double for paying Pritchard right now.
Just I'm just waiting how I think the game might go.
They aren't gonna have it up yet, so but I
(01:02:25):
think I think Pritchard's we're picture it could be worth
worth worth some coin.
Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Yeah, yeah, no, I like what you're thinking right there.
You know, I'm thinking about maybe a Grizzlies player. I
thought about Desmond Bain. I expect them to be trailing,
but okay, sees three point defense is so good. I
don't love that as much. Again, we're thinking the most
three pointers today, correct, So I expect the Calves to
put it on the Miami Heat in Game one, So
(01:02:54):
I'm gonna target a Heat player. It's not like the
Calves play lockdown perimeter defense. So I'm gonna go with
Duncan Robinson to just get on a heater. You know,
I expect them to be trailing by a decent amount
and they're not gonna call the dogs off, you know,
unless they're getting blown out by thirty. So I would
expect you're gonna be trailing, You're gonna need to heave
it from distance. Duncan Robinson's one of their better three
(01:03:17):
point shooters. I'll go with him, either him or Tyler Hero.
I could see them getting hot, but they're gonna need
to hit a bunch of threes because I expect them
to be trailing. So I'll go with Duncan Robinson is
my selection right there.
Speaker 4 (01:03:28):
So I like you.
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
I like that, Yeah, thanks, I liked that you had
to pivot there, crack from Anthony Edwards, your guy, you know, yeah,
because he came through last week he did.
Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
Hey, speaking of coming through, go ahead, go ahead, crack.
Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
No, I was gonna say, but listen, you know what, Uh,
it's a nice little token bet here you can make
and it's not nothing crazy, but you have a gold
curry today. That's all go ahead.
Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
Ry. You know what's funny is when you're thinking about
making this bet of who's gonna make the most three
pointers of all these guys playing in these four games,
and you'll look at the three pointer prop bet, it's like, wow,
his prop bits at one and a half threes, I'm
taking him to make the most three Like it's sort
of alarming right there. All right, we're gonna get to
(01:04:12):
Christian first, though, Isaac Loewenkron to spin us around with
the latest. I low, what is going on here, buddy?
Speaker 8 (01:04:17):
We will begin with Game one of the NBA Playoffs
on Saturday night, as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Lakers
in LA one seventeen to ninety five from three point range.
On Saturday, Minnesota hit a franchise playoff record, not one, not.
Speaker 2 (01:04:35):
Two, not three, not four, not five.
Speaker 8 (01:04:39):
Not six, not seven, Too soon anyway, twenty one three
pointers on forty two attempts for fifty percent. Nos Reed
hit six of them, Anthony Edwards hit four. Jaden McDaniels
lead Minnesota with twenty five points on eleven of thirteen
shooting from the field. Lukadancus thirty seven points in a
losing cause for the Lakers.
Speaker 2 (01:05:01):
And as far as Lebron James, you.
Speaker 6 (01:05:02):
Know, and you play in Minnesota team, they're gonna be physical.
How's that they bring to the table. So you know,
maybe maybe it took us one playoff game to now
get a feel forward and know what the top of
intenciate to type a physicality, it's gonna be brought to
the game. But that's just the way they play, so
we should be more than prepare for that. On Tuesday night.
Speaker 8 (01:05:20):
Also Saturday, the New York Knicks defeated the Detroit Pistons
won twenty three to one twelve, thanks in part to
a twenty one to nothing fourth quarter run. Jalen Brunson
scored thirty four Game one of the Stanley Cup playoffs
on Saturday night, so the Colorado Avalanche went at Dallas
five to one, scoring three third period goals in a
four minute and seven second span. Nathan McKinnon had two
goals and an assist for the Avalanche. Finally, in Major
(01:05:42):
League Baseball on Saturday night, the San Francisco Giants beat
the Angels three to two despite two home runs by
Mike Trout, giving them eight for the season.
Speaker 2 (01:05:50):

Speaker 1 (01:06:23):
Follow the money, real good money.
Speaker 2 (01:06:25):
That's right. We welcome in our good friend, Christian Cipollini,
BETMGM Trading Manager. Good morning to you, Christian. Okay, what
do we need at BETMGM. We got the three huge favorites.
Do we need the dog to be barking here? What
do you think in these games with big spreads?
Speaker 9 (01:06:41):
Hey, yeah, you're right on that. It's a good time
of year with NBA playoffs NHL playoffs going. But yeah,
today's today's not as good as I guess yesterday was
as three games with at least twelve point favorites here going. So, yeah,
the book obviously tends to need the dog, and that's
something we're rooting for today so far.
Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
At least in the NBA.
Speaker 4 (01:07:00):
I would imagine that you were pretty pleased with the
result of the final game last night with the with
the Wolves taking other the Lakers. Did that Did that
do good for you guys? Yeah? For sure.
Speaker 9 (01:07:10):
We actually ended up taking a pretty big bet over
half a million dollars on the Lakers. So we were
normally not rooting for the Lakers, so that just made
it even more reason to be rooting against them there. So,
and of course I think we've mentioned a few times
on this show that Lakers are far and away our
biggest liability and when it comes from a future standpoint,
(01:07:30):
so we'll be rooting against them the whole playoffs.
Speaker 3 (01:07:34):
Christian John Ewings sends us the recaps of what the
what the Sportsbook's taken in and we got one of
this morning around eight o'clock this morning, and I'm surprised
to see the most popular bets and most popular bets
ticket wise and money wise. How can this possibly be? So?
The magic So are you guys actually rooting for Boston
(01:07:55):
in that game.
Speaker 9 (01:07:58):
Yeah, so that's probably early numbers.
Speaker 4 (01:08:01):
As we get.
Speaker 9 (01:08:01):
Closer to the actual game, that's when the public money
will start filling in, and that's when we will be
flipping back over.
Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:08:08):
So early early in occasions was probably more sharp money
that was taking the magic side of things. But as
we start kind of climbing here, we won't. I can't
imagine that we'll actually be rooting for the.
Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
Celtics, gotcha, gotcha. When I seen it, Like I said
a lot of times, ticket wise money wise, I understand
when I look at ticket wise, but sometimes when I
see moneyline money wise match, I'm like, wow, how can
this possibly be? So so you'll be on the dogs,
probably all three big dogs today by the time these
(01:08:40):
games tip.
Speaker 9 (01:08:42):
Yeah, and then on top of it, I mean it's
certainly one that we'll want at least one of these
dogs to win. I don't think it will happen, but
I'm sure there'll be a lot of people that will
parlay those three money line favorites as well.
Speaker 3 (01:08:53):
So Jeff Schwartz, Yeah, there it is.
Speaker 4 (01:08:56):
Yeah, sure.
Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
It might get down that way. Yeah, Christian NFL Draft
the first round starts on Thursday. Is there anything specific
that you'll be rooting for, maybe you want to dodge
a bullet or anything that would help you, guys at
at MGM.
Speaker 9 (01:09:15):
Yeah, that draft can comes soon enough because it's one
of the book maker's least favorite markets that we have here.
Speaker 1 (01:09:22):
But we're actually.
Speaker 9 (01:09:23):
Shaping up decently this season. Certain things that have helped
is Carter Hunter kind of flipping back and forth between
two and three is gotten from the book's perspective, being
able to get money on both of those players, which
just helped kind of balance us out a little. So
those two are okay. The one that we're really trying
to avoid is gent going to the Jaguars, so there's
(01:09:45):
been some talk of him going up into the top five.
If he does, that'd be a pretty big problem for us.
And then the other one be Chador going to the Safe.
We end up taking a good amount of money when
car Cars injury happened, so a little bit more rumblings
that they could take him there.
Speaker 1 (01:10:02):
Those are the main two that.
Speaker 9 (01:10:03):
We're trying to avoid. Obviously, the draft can get very weird,
so I think at this point we'd like to say
somewhat of a normal as what we're expecting, as long
as we can get genes to fall out of the
top five.
Speaker 4 (01:10:15):
Yeah, you know. To me, the interesting part about the
draft is how the odds just sort of move so
wildly at times. Is the information you're getting the same
as what basically we're getting whatever is reported in the media.
I mean, the the gent thing is is one hundred
percent because one trusted mock draft, you know, draft analysts
(01:10:36):
put him five in his mock draft like three days ago,
and everyone just Gentle's going five to Jackson, Right, that's it,
that's it, and all of a sudden the odds move
like that. Is that basically how simple it is in
this one instance where we're all just doing the same thing.
We're reading media reports and tweets and then betting on it.
Speaker 9 (01:10:53):
Yeah, that's exactly right. And that's why it's my Lea's
favorite event that we have, just because it's it's doing
a lot of deciphering to try to figure out where
these rumors came from. And in today's age, you know,
in the social media era, everybody has the same access
to some of this information as others.
Speaker 6 (01:11:10):
So if someone puts out.
Speaker 9 (01:11:11):
A mock draft, to Suddenly people's opinions start changing and
lines are moving. We start taking bets, and sometimes it's
hard to dec which rumors are true which ones aren't.
I always go back to the Will Levice from a
few years back, where there was a lot of rumors
with him going into the top three. We took a
ton of bets on it, and turns out it was
just a random internet rumor from Reddit or something like that.
(01:11:33):
So we never know which rumors are true and which
ones aren't. It's always really tough.
Speaker 3 (01:11:38):
But I want to tell you something though, Christian. Look
this morning I looked at you're all the different bets
you guys have available. I have to give you credit
to have all these different types of draft bets. I
know what I have done to bookmakers on draft time.
I have destroyed. One of my biggest wins ever of
all time was ben Chero going number one, literally a
(01:12:02):
nice six figure score on that. So I know what
I have done for during the draft stuff. So I
understand why books are hesitant. But yet you guys still
have so many different things to bet on. I was
like wow this morning, So I got to give you
guys credit for that. You have a lot of different
way all the teams, you know, position a first draft
(01:12:22):
to player, but like the Chargers and you know, the Broncos,
every team. So really, really, I have to give you
guys a lot of credit for even having that up there.
It's so hard. Let me just tell you, I know,
a guy like me, I have a lot of good
information on a lot of these type of things in
the past. I have so for you guys that even
put them up there. A lot of sports backs at
(01:12:43):
a lot of sports books, I mean have cut back,
so I have to say on these type of bets
I know in Vegas, I used to have these at
all the books in Vegas and they literally, you know,
have cut back to little or none. So I got
to give you guys a lot of credit here with
these props. Good job.
Speaker 9 (01:13:03):
Yeah, I mean, it's it's just as a very very
popular market. So as much as I don't, you know,
enjoy trading the draft side of things, it does take
a ton of It does take a ton of bets,
a ton of action. People love it. Last year was
the first draft that we won, and we very barely
won by We really just think of it as a
as a losing market for us. It's more of a
(01:13:25):
promotional side of things, as obviously people want to bet it.
So one of the very rare markets that we just
put up and we expect that we'll probably lose at
the end of the day.
Speaker 4 (01:13:35):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
Well, hey, Christian, it doesn't hurt our feelings if you
take it.
Speaker 9 (01:13:39):
On the you know, I'm sure it doesn't.
Speaker 3 (01:13:43):
Know.
Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
Well, hey, Christian, I hope you have a great Sunday
and always good to catch up with you.
Speaker 3 (01:13:49):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Enjoy the draft and we'll talk talk next week. Man,
looking forward to it.
Speaker 1 (01:13:54):

Speaker 1 (01:15:42):
This prop it up player plays.
Speaker 2 (01:15:48):
Okay, the prop betting market, we have finally arrived, Prack,
we start with you. What's something new?
Speaker 3 (01:15:53):
Like, like, let's go to the NBA market. DeAndre Hunter over
eleven and a half points. You know, he'll come off
the bench here and play twenty eight to thirty minutes,
a much better at defender than than Struss here. So
I just he should be the one you know on
(01:16:13):
the court closing in that fourth quarter. So let's go
over his points over eleven and a half.
Speaker 4 (01:16:21):
Okay. So what we have done this season in baseball
is I have faded the Rockies pitching staff. In seven
games at home, they're allowing eight runs per games wild
and in their road games they've allowed nearly five runs
(01:16:41):
in twelve road games. And they're playing at home. They
have a double header today against the Nationals. I've only
been in the first game so far because those are
the starters that we're going to start the other day.
So it just makes sense, right, Nationals, you can either
choose over four and a half runs at minus one
sixty over five and a half at plus one hundred.
It does make a difference sometimes in those I tend
(01:17:02):
to just take the juice and say that's part of
betting baseball sometimes. So NAT's over four and a half
runs minus one sixty against the Rockies today. I like
Tatum over assistant rebounds over fourteen and a half. It's
a big play of mine in the postseason. So where
Tatum really excels and he doesn't score as much, right,
he finds ways to affect him. Only. The only issue
(01:17:23):
I have with that is that if they're winning by
a lot, he might not be there at the end
of the game. So that's the concern of mind. I
did take Howser over one and a half three pointers
today as well, and I don't know if it's a
prop person. Well, Peyton Pritchard, his points and assists are
not up on bet MGM, but elsewhere eleven and a
(01:17:48):
half I took that over. I think that's a pretty
fair wager. Printer is going to play a decent out
the end of this game.
Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
All right. I'm looking at John Moran, I'm looking at
the under it's ticked down. I got it yesterday at
under twenty three and a half. It's now twenty two
and a half. I still like the under. Obviously, I
like the extra point in my favor, but give me
John Moran under twenty two and a half. The thinking
here is, so we all know he rolled his ankle
on Tuesday night against the Warriors, and then he got
(01:18:19):
an injection in that ankle against Dallas and he started
off great, and then the scoring started to slow down,
slow down. Remember the putback dunk. It's like his head
was even with the rim and it's like, how is
this guy playing this well and looking this good on
a bum ankle? Was because he had an injection, but
(01:18:39):
the scoring slowed down, So you think about this. They
just played on what Friday night against Dallas, and now
they're playing early on Sunday. This is the first game
of the day against OKC and that defense. So I
just getting the twenty three points is not gonna be
easy on an ankle that's certainly not a hundred percent.
(01:19:00):
He hasn't had a whole lot of time to heal.
So I like the under for John Moran here. I
like it even more. Possibly an in game play. If
he gets off to a hot start, I would expect
the scoring to slow down. So if you look to
play it that way, I wouldn't hate it. But even
going in pre flop, I like John Moran under twenty
two and a half points, and if you're looking forward
(01:19:22):
to the next night, I like Norman Powell of the
Clippers going over fifteen and a half points. He didn't
shoot it great in Game one against the Nuggets, only
twelve points on twelve shots, but he gets enough shots
where I expect him to not have another game like
that where he's only scoring twelve. I would look at
Norman Powell to score sixteen points in the second game.
So it was Lisely two.
Speaker 3 (01:19:43):
I've got cooking up for you guys.
Speaker 2 (01:19:44):
Right, what do you think about joh you in on
the jaw under there?
Speaker 4 (01:19:47):
It makes sense, it makes a lot of sense. But
the thing about it is, I'm just worried if they're
trying to come back at the end of the game.
He just is chucking about the threes. That's only concerned.
Speaker 2 (01:19:59):
That's hey, yeah, we'll get you the Sunday Slate. We're
looking at blowout. Oh what is going on? Happy Easter
to you if you get down that way. If not,
Happy Sunday to you, hope your day's off to a

in the NBA today. It's highlighted by the nightcap. Jeff,
(01:20:41):
you pointed this out. It's the Warriors at the Rockets,
and the Warriors twenty four and seven is their record
when Jimmy Butler has played for them, so really good record.
But they faded down the stretch, you know, not playing
great basketball down the stretch. They look a little bit
tired as well. Steve Curve, their head coaches said, hey, man,
we're just gassed, we're worn out. And so you think
(01:21:04):
about playing a younger Houston Rockets team. That's one area
where youth can serve you. Well, if you get the
younger legs, you're just you know, you're not as long
in the tooth. So I don't think that inexperience is
automatically a bad thing all across the board. And we'll see.
We'll see if Houston can pounce with Golden State being
worn down a little bit right now, and you need
(01:21:26):
game one at home. You know, you got to hold
serve at home. Lakers weren't able to do that last night.
To be in an one hole when you are a
series underdog like the Rockets, that would be a bad
position to be in. So we'll see if they can
throw the first punch. But that's got to be the
best game of the day by far the other games,
you know, twelve thirteen point spreads all of them except
(01:21:48):
the nightcap. But I'm looking forward to that Rockets game
host in the Warriors. That's good matchup.
Speaker 4 (01:21:53):
Yeah, I am, I mean most curious about how this
game starts. You know, you have the Rockets at home tonight.
Had a great season, but the lack of experience is
going to be noticeable in the postseason, right they just
haven't done it now. Their head coach has obviously right,
So like you know, there's there's that going for them.
I think it's important. But you know, if they start
(01:22:16):
fast in this game, I feel great about their chances,
you know, I really do, because I don't think the
Warriors want to be scrambling to end the game. They're
just we've seen them at the end of the season.
They they're just older man that they just are. And
the more they have to I think to keep up
with physically. I think if the Warriors got out to
like a twenty point lead early on, I thinks much
(01:22:36):
easier of them just try to sit in the lead
than it is Chase Chase, the chase the Hawks. You know.
But you know, I'll tell you what, man, Game one
at home, these home teams typically start really fast. They
feel the jews of the crowd, the crowd's gonna be
so into it. So I don't I have Houston to
win this series. I think that that plus one sixty
(01:22:59):
five whatever I'm getting is a little bit. The value
in that I think was too good to pass up. Guys,
But I don't have much on the game itself. I
might bet Houston first quarter at some point, but the
youth of Houston does scare me a little bit, you know,
I like.
Speaker 3 (01:23:16):
You said there, Jeff, though a lot of especially these
game ones, it just seems like the crowd is just
so into it, the home team so into it's starting
the playoffs. Interesting way to handicap. There some more good
game ones, like we said today, matchups today, I'm saying
some more good ones for the fans. Anyway. I hope
it's that good on the court though, We'll see if
(01:23:37):
these higher seeds look look sharp coming off a week's
rest without playing. But as far as like maybe the
big underdogs go, I think maybe even like the heat
and the Magic will have a better chance to keep
it close. Though I know one thing than the Grizzlies do.
By the way, the sports books just think about it, boy,
the sports books are really going to be rooting for
(01:23:59):
the ound today. That's why when I was questioning Christian,
I was like, we get this email, and I'm like,
how can it be possible? That's the early money. So
by game time, the sportsbooks, including VET MGM, I'm sure
is going to be all rooting for these underdogs and
at least one of them to win outright. But and
you know, as we know, God protects the book maker,
(01:24:23):
so we'll see they didn't really protect them as far
as like last week, by the way, we didn't really
talk about that too much. We'll get into it. A
couple of different things happened, especially Rory mclroy when we'll
talk about that for a minute, but in a few minutes.
But let's go back to the NBA. Memphis played in
a tough a couple of tough games, and okay, see
(01:24:45):
has rested and hasn't really played a meaningful game in
about a month. So now the heat also they have
they have the coach who hates to get blown out.
So we got some interesting games. I think these games
may surprise some people watching Throughout the flow of the game,
(01:25:06):
there'll be times where we're like, wow, is this upset
going to happen? Like, I think that'll happen in a
couple of these games though. And you know, again, I
still don't mess with the sides here. I just try
to stick to that problem market more than more than
anything else. But it should be interesting, should be interesting
to watch, and I think this game, one of these
games will surprise people. That's what I feel too. I'm
(01:25:29):
gonna stick with I think what's going to happen for
the sportsbooks?
Speaker 2 (01:25:34):
Well, how about this which underdog? There are three big underdogs,
which do you think has the best chance to at
least keep game one close. So you've got the Grizzlies,
the Magic, and the Heat. They're all big underdogs. I
think it's the Magic personally for a couple of reasons.
They've taken on Boston. That's not an easy assignment. But
(01:25:54):
Orlando plays really good defense. Both teams are at the
bottom in pace. Orlando plays the slowest pace. Boston is
twenty ninth in pace, so they're very very slow teams.
So you think of more of like a grinded out
type game. The Celtics rely on the three point line
a great deal. So going up against Orlando, who plays
(01:26:15):
very good defense, maybe Boston has an offshooting game, Like
I think Orlando is at least live plus thirteen and
a half. That's a lot of points right there. I
can see, okay, see boat racing the Grizzlies. I can
see Cleveland boat racing Miami. But I would say the
Magic plus the points have the best chance today. What
(01:26:36):
do you think, Jeff, if you're looking at those big underdogs.
Which dog do you think is Barkin?
Speaker 4 (01:26:44):
I mean, can the heat might of the game up
enough to like keep it close? For the thing about
these numbers, I think Brian today is like, who can
avoid the run the home teammates that there's gonna be
a run at some point. These teams make ten twelve
(01:27:04):
ozero run. Who can either avoid that or make up
the difference? He probably can't. Grizzlies me, probably not. I
mean the magic feel like the only one. But what
if Boston hits twenty threes today? That game is a
forty point win for Boston. So I, uh crack, you're
(01:27:24):
gonna hate this, Okay, I tell you a wager I did.
It's a it's a small, little bit, just a little
low wager.
Speaker 3 (01:27:30):
I'm not gonna.
Speaker 4 (01:27:33):
Yeah. I basically took the three favorites to win the
first half and the full game and put them all
in a parlay together, all six just six weeks.
Speaker 3 (01:27:42):
Wait, they're gonna take first half in game?
Speaker 4 (01:27:45):
Yeah, basically three three same game parlays in one, but
three of them in one, so it ends up being
plus money.
Speaker 3 (01:27:54):
But they built in the odds there.
Speaker 4 (01:27:55):
So okay, Yeah, So basically ends up being plus money
to take all three favorites to win the first happen
win the full game. I just don't.
Speaker 3 (01:28:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:28:02):
I think my head like which which team is? Which
away team is winning in halftime?
Speaker 3 (01:28:09):
Brian, that bet can't win.
Speaker 4 (01:28:12):
So I mean it's like it's like which one. I mean,
I just think, like in my head, like which one is?
Like even yesterday, I mean, obviously we had some games
yesterday where the visiting team was winning at halftime, and
I think I think three of the four right Clippers
were winning at halftime. Were there winning halftime? It was close,
they were had a halftime Pistons I think were slightly ahead.
No that game, Knicks was head by two at half time,
(01:28:34):
and obviously the Wolves were up big. We're I think
eleven or twelve at halftime. So I mean we saw yesterday.
But the numbers yesterday were close, right, I mean, and Nixon, Lakers,
and Nuggets, those numbers were all within five points. I
think Pacers was five and a half maybe, I really.
By the way, I like the Bucks a lot in
Game two.
Speaker 2 (01:28:51):
By the way, Game.
Speaker 4 (01:28:52):
Two loads loads back. We'll see obviously what that number
is with with loaded back. I mean Giannis tried as
he tried his darnedness to make that game. They missed?
How many shots that did the Bucks miss in a
row at the end of the game, like wide open looks?
You gotta make some of those to make it a
close game. I mean, Indiana, just I don't know whatever.
(01:29:14):
So I just think today is the first three games
are not going to be competitive. I'm trying to find
different angles. Maybe the thunder starts slow with all the
expectations of of supposed to win. The one thing I
should have done. But I'm kind of curious about is
you know, how many of the teams who played in
the play in tournament? Right? How do they play in
(01:29:37):
game one of the next series? So basically ends up
being right, like, I think it's all four teams today, right, Grizzlies, Magic, Heat, Warriors.
How are they going to play? Having already played a
couple of quote quote playoff games?
Speaker 2 (01:29:53):
And I think especially for the Grizzlies with joh getting
banged up, right, that's your main guy. So yeah, playing
two games, that's a difference than a couple of these
playing teams. You know, you might just play one game
and you're in like Golden State played one game. Grizzlies
had to play two games, and John got hurt and
had to play hurt the next night. You know, so
(01:30:13):
that's a big difference, I think for Memphis, I'm looking.
It's good to keep that in mind.
Speaker 3 (01:30:18):
Pacers are four and a half over the Bucks at
bet MGM in game two. So you like the Bucks there, Jeff.
Speaker 4 (01:30:26):
I think so. I think at least early in the game,
like a first half way or a first quarter wager
or something of them. I think they if Luller plays,
I think they start super fast at this game, like
they're gonna be so revitalized to have Luler in there,
and they have to win. Like this thing too is
like you don't want to go back, oh too, right,
So you look at these road teams some of these games,
they're in a sort of a must win. They're gonna
(01:30:46):
start with their best stuff early in the game. They
have to, like the Bucks, you know, they just they
if Lowd's playing, they gotta come out fast. They can't
let the Pacers take over. I actually thought the Pacers
should lose for those horrendous uniforms that were yesterday. But unfortunately,
you don't don't win or lose based off the uniforms
you were?
Speaker 2 (01:31:01):
How do you how do you like the court?
Speaker 4 (01:31:03):
Though?
Speaker 2 (01:31:04):
The court's pretty nice, but how do you.
Speaker 4 (01:31:05):
Have a game one of the of the playoffs. I'm
a little call me a boomer certainly, I feel like
game won the playoffs. You should just wear your regular uniform.
I mean, like I get it, Like the Lakers used
to only wear white on Sundays, like you should have
worn yellow. That's why you lost yesterday. You show on
yellow uniform like you normally do. And just just in
this road with it used to be whites were only
on Sundays.
Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
Maybe that's it. You know the famous Pacers call where
it was boom baby, he should redo it to boomer baby.
You know, we could get that going.
Speaker 4 (01:31:34):
When I turn on the NBA game, I want to
know which team is which, and sometimes I have to
It takes me a little bit of time to figure
out I had a home team's team At first.
Speaker 3 (01:31:42):
When I've heard of the game, I said, Wow, they're
wearing white. You're right, You're right. Lakers are five and
a half by the way over to Timberwolves. Yeah, to
win that might be a must win game.
Speaker 4 (01:31:53):
No, but everyone's that pick the Lakers. It's gonna be
one of those. They just have to, like money line
and a parlight are to stay away because every one's
choosing the Lakers.
Speaker 3 (01:32:01):
You're right, hey.
Speaker 2 (01:32:02):
By the way, there's a stat I wanted to throw
your way that I thought was pretty interesting, and it
speaks to the night game tonight, right like the Rockets
hosting the Warriors. So it sounds there are a bunch
of numbers. But listen to this. So it's John Holland
Jerry writes for The Athletic and he talks about his
fifty two three three club. It's like, what does fifty
(01:32:25):
two to three to three mean? So at least fifty
two wins your plus three scoring margin wise, right, and
you're a top three seed. That qualifier describes forty four
of the past forty five NBA champions. Okay, fifty two
to three and three, so on that list this year
it's okay. See it's the Celtics, the Calves, and the
(01:32:48):
Houston Rockets. The Rockets fit that criteria. So we're not
saying they're gonna win a championship, but I think there's
a tendency to look at them as like, ah, they're
just too young. They're just too young to do anything.
And it's like they fit this qualifier that's described forty
four of the past forty five NBA champions.
Speaker 4 (01:33:07):
You know, sure, I.
Speaker 2 (01:33:08):
Wouldn't just dismiss them that. We talked about that too.
Jeff them at plus money to win this series. They're
absolutely live to win this series against Golden State.
Speaker 4 (01:33:16):
Yeah. I think winning the series and then continuing for
the championship are two separate things, right. I totally think
they can win this.
Speaker 2 (01:33:21):
Totally complete, but I think the youth I'm not calling
the show.
Speaker 4 (01:33:26):
If the Lakers can get through the youth, I think
will show against the Lakers. If not, so does this
It's not like the NFL they received right, so they
would play the Timberwolves.
Speaker 2 (01:33:37):
No, yeah, yep, yeah, they would play that. It'd be
t Wolves and whoever wins Rockets Warriors, Sure yep.
Speaker 4 (01:33:43):
Yeah. Oh the NBA's if there's gags in this in
this series and the Warriors and the Lakers win Game sevens,
there's going to be so many conspiracy people on social
media about the NBA wanting Lakers, Warriors and the game.
Speaker 2 (01:34:00):
Yeah, sure, yeah, I agree with you, though, left.
Speaker 3 (01:34:04):
Teams the magic I have to go with the Magic
having a better chance to keep it close.
Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
And I agree, yeah, yeah, nice, Yeah, it's uh listen man,
uh and listen. Boston. I'll say one thing real fast. Boston.
Last year, of course they won a title, but they
had a couple of stinkers early on. They'd have that
game where you're just like, you just blow that lead
and lose that home and so they have goofy things.
(01:34:29):
And one other thing Boston is legit. Don't get me wrong,
but it does remind me a little bit of the Nuggets.
Remember a couple of years ago when the Nuggets won
their championship, it wasn't the toughest road like they ended
up playing Miami. He was an eight seed right in
the finals. It wasn't murderer's row. And if you look
at the Celtics path through the playoffs last year, it
(01:34:52):
was not. And so I'm not saying they're fools Gold
or anything like that, but I think we're looking at
this Celtics as like, whoa Celtics completely formidable and they're
a really really good team, But how much of the
appraisal is them winning a championship last year? And when
(01:35:12):
you look pretty closely at that road. It was not
the toughest path to a title. So I'm not taking
credit away from them winning a championship. I'm just applying
last season to this season, where maybe we think they're
even more legit than they actually are. Right like it
was this.
Speaker 4 (01:35:31):
Though, is thisn't knocking them this year? That that like
they haven't played up to that standard. Who saw last season?
Speaker 2 (01:35:37):
Sure, yeah, they've coasted they they're like the Chiefs in
the regular season, right, there's this kind.
Speaker 4 (01:35:42):
Of bored Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:35:45):
Yeah, So we'll see see if they crank it up
come playoff time. They're certainly capable of the other thing.
Keep in mind Jalen Brown his knee. He received an
injection in his knee, so he's been dealing with a
you know, an if he knee. So that's something else
to wear and tear of playing all that extra playoff basketball.
It's just not easy to run it back that same
one of repeat. We've got Bill Krackenberger. It's right, it's
(01:36:10):
very difficult. We got Bill Krackenberger, a professional sports handicapper.
Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran. I almost swapped him, Jeff,
I almost said Bill Krackenberger ate your NFL veteran.
Speaker 4 (01:36:21):
In my head, that'd be awesome. Good for you, crack Man.
Speaker 2 (01:36:25):
That would be absolutely it would be I picture him
doing like a Tony Sarah Goosa Nest plunge, you know,
and like Rich Cannon. That's what crack would have done
in the end.
Speaker 4 (01:36:35):
Still, still, the best season of Hard Knocks was year
one with the Rogans. You couldn't even air that anymore,
so politically.
Speaker 2 (01:36:40):

Jeff Our guy Crack has been a world traveler here lately.
(01:38:08):
If there is a golf event going on, he is
at it. He's at the Masters, he's at Hilton Head.
I'm just curious, Crack, what's been you know. We'll wax
poetic about Rory with an unbelievable you know save there,
I guess the best way to say it in the Masters,
But what's been your favorite moment so far? While you've
been you know, checking out all this stuff here? What
(01:38:29):
comes to mind?
Speaker 3 (01:38:31):
Let me start out with the scariest moment. The scariest
moment was, you know, I have one of these nice
motor scooters, because you need that. Over there at Augusta
on those hills, when I had literally one bar of
power left coming from Amen corner to the clubhouse to
recharge the scooter, that was the scariest moment. But uh yeah,
I made it there. But the greatest moment, of course,
(01:38:54):
was watching on Sunday. I didn't go on Sunday one
Friday and Saturday Sunday I watched just like everyone else
from home, which is a great thing to do. You
just get more into the action. You could see everything,
greater views and to watch Rory win, even though it
went to you know, here's the deal. I wanted him
to win in regulation and not go to the extra holes,
(01:39:18):
but just to see him win, and just just to
watch a man like that just get to win everything
now and to just break down. It just got to him.
It was such a It was so draining to watch
someone do that. And I heard yesterday someone said he
donated his purse, so I didn't know that. I was like, wow,
I didn't know. He donated his purse to charity, which
(01:39:40):
was a really nice thing that I heard. I love
guys that do stuff like that. And you know Rory's
I mean, Roway's worked like I don't know, it's three
hundred million. I mean he's one of the richest guys
in golf. But I really enjoyed watching, of course the Masters.
But I want to tell you something, guys, hilton Head,
this is twenty three. I think I think I made
(01:40:02):
twenty two of the last twenty three actually going to
hilton Head and my buddies placed there out on eighteen
between the clubhouse and eighteen. Just it's just the South.
I just maybe because I grew up in like you know,
concrete Jungle. I just love the tree lined streets, the
moss covered roads, and it's just a it's a great
(01:40:23):
trip to watch that, and you just it's so much
easier too. The tickets are, you know, one hundred bucks.
They were on stub hub for ninety dollars to go
out on the golf course on Thursday. I mean, come
on it just you know where the Masters just bust
you out and you know it's only for certain people.
Thank God, I have great connections to give me free
or next to free tickets. But it's just a great experience.
(01:40:45):
Lots of families down down in the Hilton Head and
it was a great experience too down there. Now the
same thing with you guys today. I'll be flying out
back to Vegas, actually, but I'll be following it, and
you know it should be fun. Last year Scheffler won.
This year he's starting out four strokes back, and I
don't think he's the value to win because people bet
(01:41:07):
on no matter what. But Justin Thomas was leading a
lot of the tournament and now he's see what Kim.
I believe he was the little by one over Thomas.
Yeah so, but yet yeah, maybe they maybe they went
out there and started because right now Justin they have it.
(01:41:28):
Justin Thomas on bet mg. I'm looking at bet MGM
Justin Thomas plus two fifty see with Kim plus two
sixty Novak then McNeely, boy, I tell you what, I'd
like to take a shot on McNeely if he was
a little bit longer, if he was double digits, well
like ten to one, twelve to one, I might look
at him a little bit. Scheffler nine to one. Just
(01:41:48):
a great experience being out there, guys.
Speaker 4 (01:41:51):
Then we just don't go out till about two o'clock today.
Speaker 3 (01:41:54):
Okay, yeah, that's what I thought it was. That's amazing,
so two o'clock. But when I seen that's how much
pressure is on these guys. That how much pressures on
these guys. When I see Thomas the favorite just now,
I said, wait a minute, did they start? It's eleven thirty.
But that's how much pressures on someone like Seawoo Kim,
(01:42:15):
when Justin Thomas, who has been there, I had the
finish line so many times, and these pressure situations, it's
really hard. That's why I give Justin Rose all the
credit in the world. Last week. Think about it. The
first day he had like a four stroke lead and
everyone's betting against him. He was still like six to
one to win with a four stroke lead. Then he
(01:42:36):
comes back on day four, puts that pressure on beautiful
shot on eighteen. You know, it was really really a
beautiful tournament to watch, great tournament to watch. I had
a lot of fun this year at these two tournaments guys.
And you know what now that one of my buddies
who's a caddy, he said, you realize who the game
(01:42:58):
the game of golf is the big winner all right,
we know Rory one, we know Rory one, he said,
but Crack, the game of golf is the winner. When
that Masters was over, everyone wanted to go out and
play golf tomorrow, pitching and putt get to the exerience.
I mean, Casey Kerr, no doubt, big Caddy for everyone
(01:43:19):
from Payne Stewart to Arnold Palmer VJ saying he said
to me, Cracked, the game of golf is the winner.
He's right, absolutely right. Just to let you guys know
before I stopped talking about golf here, don't be surprised.
And I forgot to ask Christian. I wouldn't doubt that
they lost money on golf last week because everyone was
(01:43:43):
betting live Rory. Everyone I didn't know anyone not betting.
They were all rooming with their heart and they were
betting Rory, and sure enough, Rory wins. So somehow, some
way God didn't protect the books that day. Trust me,
books across the world did not want Rory to win.
(01:44:04):
I think I think Christian actually came on with us
in the morning and said they don't want either guy
to win. That was before the drama of the live wagering.
So trust me, they did not want Rory to win
that tournament.
Speaker 4 (01:44:17):
I was naked on Rory. I had Oberg. I had
ober to finish top five, and he tripled eighteen and
finished ninth. I mean that's just like that was brutal,
and I had didn't I had Bryson and so. But
then crackhed your point of live wager I took. I
made four Rory wagers on eighteen and then before the
(01:44:37):
playoff at like plus one ten plus one oh five
minus one ten, like I was able to get in
at a good price on Rory, so and it being
I probably lost a little bit, I mean a couple
of units probably on the tournament, but like, yeah, to
your point of getting in on Roy, I think a
lot of us did that, Like we're just I trusted
him at the end there to beat Justin Rose. I
mean Rose was minus four in the back nine at
(01:44:59):
the Masters and didn't win. I can't I can't imagine
the feeling of that happening. He's been the runner up
now twice. I think right for the for the Masters
got it got to be a tough way to uh
to go out there. So are you gonna since you're
staying in town today, are you going back to the
golf course?
Speaker 3 (01:45:15):
No, no, no, no, no, I'm headed out. My plane
was canceled yesterday, planes on time today. I worked everything around.
They were like, oh, your your your bags and stuff,
we could send them on. I said, well holy. They
were like they wanted to send my bags, which I
had all my Fox radio stuff here. I was like, wait,
oh no, yeah, they wanted me to go, like they
(01:45:37):
wanted me to leave and and leave on a later flight.
But then I would have been stuck because there's no
direct flights, So I would have been stuck in Nashville
and I would have had to get a hotel, and
I know what would have happened. You can't connect to
for the show at a lot most of the hotels, but.
Speaker 2 (01:45:55):
No putting the show first right there? Correct?
Speaker 3 (01:45:58):
So yeah, I had a put the show first, take
a later flight and uh yeah, I'm going to connect
you with Baltimore and the head back to Vegas. And
I got to tell you something, if I get older,
I look forward to sleeping on my own bed being
back in last Vegas. If that makes any sense. How
could you love traveling when I was younger? But now
(01:46:19):
I like, I like being back home.
Speaker 2 (01:46:21):
So you've got that plush bed at the crack residence too, Like,
how could you get long for that thing right there? Yes,
all right, all right, let me get to just the
enormity of a shot in a second here, But first
we throw it to Isaac loehen Kron again. You talk
about plush, plush layouts. I low. If it's not luxury,
(01:46:42):
it's not I low velvet microphone. I low with the latest.
Speaker 8 (01:46:46):
Diamond encrusted earphones. Unfortunately, that did not translate elsewhere in
the Southern California area, because in Game one of the
NBA Playoffs on Saturday night, the Minnesota timber Will this
took away the home court advantage from the Los Angeles
Lakers with a resounding one seventeen to ninety five win.
The Timberwolves hit twenty one out of forty two from
(01:47:09):
three point range. Nas Reed hit six of them, Anthony
Edwards made four. Jayden McDaniels led the Timberwolves with twenty
five on eleven of thirteen shooting from the field. Dark
Lakers head coach JJ Reddick sums it up.
Speaker 12 (01:47:21):
It's not to say our guys weren't like ready to
withstand like a playoff level basketball game. We were mentally ready.
Speaker 3 (01:47:30):
I thought our spirit was right.
Speaker 12 (01:47:32):
I thought even when they made runs, our huddles were great.
Speaker 1 (01:47:35):
You know, the communication was great.
Speaker 12 (01:47:37):
I mean, I'm not sure physically we were ready, if
that makes sense.
Speaker 8 (01:47:41):
Also Saturday, the New York Knicks used a twenty one
to nothing fourth quarter run to beat the Detroit Pistons
one twenty three to one. Twelve mine thirty four from
Jalen Brunson. Today's NBA playoff action tips off at one
pm Eastern Time with Game one from Oklahoma City between
the Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies and Game one of
the Stanley Cup Playoffs. On Saturday night, the Colorado Avalanche
(01:48:02):
what of Dallas five to one, scoring three third period
goals in the span of four minutes and seven seconds.
There was a cool moment during that game at the
American Airline Center. They were playing that song Higher by
Creed on the PA system right before a face off.
They dropped the puck, so they had to stop the music,
but the fans at the American Airlines Center decided to
(01:48:24):
keep on singing Listen Chullie and endure the.
Speaker 7 (01:48:27):
Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Speaker 1 (01:48:28):
You Gotta win sixteen games.
Speaker 4 (01:48:30):
You gotta win four.
Speaker 13 (01:48:32):
Routes, and it has been full contact and full speed
here tonight. Held it out some creed here in the building.
Good vibe.
Speaker 8 (01:48:45):
Fans in Dallas trying to add some vibes canceled out
by the trade of Luka Dancich apparently back to you, guys.
Speaker 2 (01:48:52):
I think they did. Now you've got something to die
for by Lamb of God right after as an encore
over there. Very nice job by them. Love when the
fans get into it that way. It is Fox Sports
Radios Countdown presented by BETMGM. Score bigger at BETMGM when
you win with odds, boost tokens, boost tokens and more.

betting options, including new look, same game parlays, teasers, live bets,
and so much more. All right, we're up against it.
Let me make one point here real fast. If you
go back to the Masters last week and you look
at Rory in the playoff and you think about that
approach shot, that one shot that he hit a couple
(01:49:37):
of feet from the hole, and you just think about
the enormity of that shot, where all of a sudden
he makes that putt, he wins the event. He's resilient, right,
He's a Masters champion, He's one of six men to
ever complete the career Grand Slam. If he doesn't make
that one shot, he might lose. Now he's a choke artist.
(01:49:58):
He had another hugely in the Masters second nine, looked
fantastic and slipped away. It's been eleven years since he's
won a major. Blah blah blah. One shot. You could
apply that to yesterday with the Nuggets. I know it's
not the Masters, but game one, if Russell Westbrook doesn't
hit that corner three, the Nuggets have to foul and
(01:50:20):
they probably lose. They're downher one at home in a
series against the Clippers, and so it just it's interesting
to me. You could play this in football, golf, basketball, baseball, whatever.
You'll hear people say. It didn't come down to just
that one shot or just that one play. It wasn't
decided on that one shot or play. It's like, okay, great,
(01:50:43):
it was the second quarter in the Nuggets game, and
if they hit a three, they wouldn't be in that situation.
But guess what, that's what the game came down too.
And for that one shot for Rory Westbrook yesterday, that
just it blows my mind that it can vary and
swing that much. Where one shot is the difference between
(01:51:05):
Rory being a bum and Rory being an all timer.
But welcome to sports man at that level, that's what
it comes down to.
Speaker 5 (01:51:13):
And I think Jeff mentioned something earlier on justin Rose, like, yeah,
it was the second time he lost in the playoff
round and back like back in twenty seventeen against Sergeria Garcia,
and just like that back then, he burdied himself into
tying Garcia and then ends up like bogeying on the
nineteenth hole, kind of the exact same way. And Garcia
(01:51:33):
himself again one of those guys who had been chasing
a major, any major, and had not been able to
finish up until that point.
Speaker 2 (01:51:44):
Yeah, yeah, no, absolutely no doubt about that. But yeah,
it's just wild. Hey, real fast, if we sneak in
some NFL talk super fast, we're up against it. What
would be your shock factor? We did yesterday on Countdown
your shock factor on a scale from one to ten, Jeff,
what would be your level of shock if Ashton Genty
is not the best running back in this draft class?
(01:52:07):
Like he's the top prospect, but.
Speaker 4 (01:52:08):
It's I would not be surprised if Hampton was better.
Speaker 2 (01:52:13):
There you go, yeah, that she would not be that
she would not be shocking. Yeah, no, it would not
be so okay, so you go like, what a two
on your meter right there?
Speaker 4 (01:52:24):
Yeah? Two and half three? I would that would not
surprise me at all. I'd be more surprised if like
Sanders was better than look at the best QB the class.
Speaker 2 (01:52:34):
By the way, how high do you think Hampton's gonna go?
When do you we spend all this time on Ashton
Genty and should do her saying when do you think
Hampton's going?
Speaker 4 (01:52:42):
I mean the I think the the number one mock
player right now is Cam Moore to time to the
number two is Hampton to the Broncos. But it's never
that easy, right, So like he'll go, he'll go like
the Cowboys at twelve will take him or something right right?
Speaker 2 (01:52:56):
Yeah? Yeah, the Dolphins will just be enamored and be like,
let's get another running.
Speaker 4 (01:53:00):
Yeah they feels stop rooting for them.
Speaker 2 (01:53:05):
Oh my gosh, the talent level on this Dolphins roster.
Guys like Crack, you and Jeff might have to talk
me off a ledge here every day. It's like, yeah,
we're getting rid of Jalen Ramsey, Yeah, we Toron Armstead retired.
Yeah yeah, I don't know Tyreek Hill. There are these
trade packages. They're just gutting that freaking team.
Speaker 3 (01:53:23):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:53:23):
Yeah, I'll tell you what. The Patriots, they might have
more talent than the Dolphins at this point. That's that's
not crazy to say at all.
Speaker 4 (01:53:30):
The Dolphins are keep getting rid of veterans. Yip.
Speaker 2 (01:53:34):
Yeah, hey, I want to see the the Niners. You know,
once they pay purty, life gets real. You know, life
is real for the Dolphins now that they're paying tu Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:53:44):
Oh yeah, same thing else.
Speaker 2 (01:53:47):
All right, We've got Bill Krackenberger, professional sports handicapper, Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran, I'm Brian no Hey coming up next.
Rapid Fire will each have at least one selection for you, Crack.
We'll have his play of the day as well before
he jumps on a flight and heads back to Vegas.
You know, so it's a good one right here. It
is Fox Sports Radios Countdown presented by BEDMGM. It is

we got picks to make. Let's do it.
Speaker 1 (01:55:52):
Rapid fire.
Speaker 2 (01:55:56):
All right, crack, we start with you. What's something you like?
Speaker 3 (01:55:59):
Bud Right, I'm gonna go to baseball today. I'm gonna
be a baseball guy. Houston Astros here minus one twenty
on bet MGM. Valdez verses here Astros to ten pm
ESPN Start today, Astros over the Padres.
Speaker 4 (01:56:17):
Okay, two wagers I make every baseball day. I take
the run line against the White Sox, which would be
the Red Sox today. That's a little juicy right now
at minus one thirty five didn't cover yesterday one four
to three to the Red Sox, and I take a
team total over against the Rockies. That one's been great
so far. Everyone's scoring a bunch of runs in the
(01:56:37):
Rockies so Nationals over four and a half runs today.
I like the the Tatum over assist in rebounds over
forty half assistent rebounds as well.
Speaker 2 (01:56:49):
All right, I'm gonna roll with the Beard. Give me
James Harden over thirty two and a half points and assists.
That game will be tomorrow night against the Nuggets, but
down oh one. I really like how Harden's been playing lately.
He had the big game one with thirty two points.
Three ball is there, the assists are there. We're talking
double digits consistently. So I like that play over thirty
(01:57:12):
two and a half before the Beard again tomorrow night.
I'll roll with d all right, let's get yeah he did.
He played really well. I don't say that slowing down.
So maybe Kawhi steps up even a little bit more.
But that's gonna be a great, great series. I mean,
the Nuggets have their their work cut out for them.
You know, you got to hold serve at home, and
(01:57:33):
they were lucky to do that. In game one, we
got Cracks play the day. Let's do this.
Speaker 1 (01:57:39):
This is the best play of the day.
Speaker 2 (01:57:43):
Let me ask you, Jeff, all right, Crack, what do
you have for us?
Speaker 3 (01:57:46):
Yeah? Jeff, what was your first play there? You say
the White.
Speaker 4 (01:57:49):
Sox Red Sox run line?
Speaker 3 (01:57:52):
Oh wow, that was my play?
Speaker 4 (01:57:53):
Well, I do it every day. I do the White
Sox every day. And I did something last year.
Speaker 3 (01:57:58):
He said so far, Brian, and I thought he said
white Sox run line.
Speaker 4 (01:58:01):
I'm like, oh my god, the Red Sox run line.
Speaker 3 (01:58:04):
Yeah, I'm on the Red Sox run line too, so
the old song we all go down together. I hate
playing a home team run line. I just think the
talent level on this game here. Let me check the
bet MGM line. I think was one and a half
minus thirty five thirty five. I do. I hate playing
(01:58:24):
laying runs on when you're a home team. You know,
it's just a tough thing sometimes, but I just think
the talent level here to pitching everything here, I'm laying
the minus one and a half minus one thirty five,
and let me give you guys a bonus bet with
these strikeouts. Minnesota Ryan over five and a half strikeouts,
(01:58:45):
lay a dollar thirty. There's a couple couple bets for
you guys. But Jeff and I will be sweating out
the Red Sox laying the run and a half at
home today and hopefully they get out to a nice
lead and hold it.
Speaker 2 (01:58:59):
I might join you guys here on Easter Sunday. You
know why why would I say?
Speaker 4 (01:59:03):
Look? The Red Sox went yesterday four three in the
ball and night they hit a ball off the top
of the wall with the bases loaded. They blew a
three run lead. The White Sox had one swing of
the bat with from from Robert Junior. I think that
made it three to three. Otherwise that the Red Sox
cover the run line again yesterday. It's frustrating part of baseball,
but is what it is.
Speaker 2 (01:59:22):
Yeah, that's insane. Hey, By the way, before we get
out of here, when we uh, when we get back
next Sunday after the draft, what do you think the
first thing we're going to be talking about will be?
What will be the first thing on our minds there?
Speaker 3 (01:59:36):
What's your prediction how much money Jeff made of the draft.
Speaker 4 (01:59:38):
Hopefully. Yeah, the CLV needs COLV needs nothing. CLV just
is dead dead for the draft. Probably guess where Sanders
gets drafted.
Speaker 2 (01:59:51):
Yeah, that's a good prediction prediction right there. All right, everybody,
enjoy the day. Happy Eastern to you, and we'll catch
you next week.
