Frankly Speaking

Dr. Lang serves as the Vice President of Legal at MycoTechnology, a company that develops innovative food ingredients derived from mushrooms. Gene and I discuss the fraud he uncovered at his prior job, the great work being done by MycoTechnology, and of course the famous Gene Lang raps of the early 2000s.

Rick Burgoon is a former lobbyist, general counsel, CEO, in-house, and outside counsel who graduated UNH in 1987. Rick and I discuss the history of UNH and the lessons learned during Rick's unique and ever-changing legal career.

Cheryl Junker is the Associate Director for Compliance & Operations at Dartmouth. She built a career in technology transfer since her law school days and provides a comprehensive view of working as a patent lawyer in academia.

Charlotte Ancel is the Vice President of Investor Relations at Avangrid, a clean energy company serving more than 3 million people across the northeast United States. Charlotte joins to speak about the great work being done at Avangrid, her unique career path, and her continued love of snowboarding.

Sumon Dasgupta and Mike Abramson are Principals at Jordan IP Law in Washington, DC. They have been friends since law school and are among the greatest pranksters to come out of UNH/Franklin Pierce.

Than Lucek is the intellectual property practice group leader at Hodgson Russ, an Amlaw 200 firm based out of Buffalo, New York. He is also a fellow 2007 graduate of UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law.

Brian McKnight is a shareholder in Polsinelli's Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution practice group. He was also a classmate of mine at Franklin Pierce for all three years.
