Tim Burton's film was a risk, but became a breakout hit. A star-studded cast, brilliant music and a tragic story come together to become a truly excellent film. It's not very often people make a musical about murder and cannibalism that somehow reaches a wide audience.

Haunted seances over zoom? Count us out! This snappy British short film premiered on Shudder during the Covid-19 lockdown, and was filmed during it as well! A very impressive feat, and it's a fun film.
