Agatha Christie in Devon

Agatha Christie in Devon

Agatha Christie spent the first 30 years of her life in Devon and later bought her holiday home, Greenway, on the banks of the River Dart. This podcast, hosted by Sophie Pierce and Matt Newbury, tells the story of her life in Torquay and the surrounding area and how her love for the Devon influenced her characters and work. Recorded on location right across Agatha Christie Country, each episode also features experts and guests helping tell the story. The podcast is a must for lovers of Agatha Christie and the unique settings that inspired her. It was funded by Torbay’s Local Heritage Grant Scheme, which is a collaboration between Torbay Council, Torbay Culture, and the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark, and made possible thanks to investment from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
