An exploration into Psychology through music and interviews with host Ryan Stotland. Weekly episodes every Wednesday. Ryan Stotland is a singer songwriter who sings and educates people about Psychology and other educational topics. Ryan started writing music in 2008 while working as a macroeconomist during the day and fiddling with chord progressions at night. Along with his band the The Bull and The Bear, he released an album about the financial crisis called Recession Sessions that put a poetic and musical twist on the often dry topics of monetary policy and subprime lending. NPR Morning Edition described the album as the one that best captures the times. In 2022, Ryan became more interested in educating people about Psychology and released the album The Ryan Stotland Experiment about everything to do with the brain from neurotransmitters to psychoanalysis. He toured the album around North America having played shows in The Segal Centre and The Palace Theatre. He is particularly passionate about educating about Psychology and mental health because of his own struggles with depression and his desire to help others also struggling with different mental health conditions. This podcast is an extension of his current work educating people about Psychology through music. www.ryanstotland.com http://www.youtube.com/@RyanStotland
