Welcome to Enchantment of Eternity. I’m Marc, and I’m on a mission to analyze ever episode of the Star Trek Franchise. I started with The Original Series, and then moved on to The Next Generation, and now I’m covering Deep Space Nine and Voyager in order of airdate. It’s my mission statement to always give my honest opinion on each and every episode regardless of what the popular opinion is, so sometimes I have some hot takes. I prefer character based stories. I try to analyze the writing, acting, cinematography, and music of each episode, with emphasis on the writing. I explore themes and commentaries on the episode and give my opinion on whether or not it works, as well as explore some behind the scenes tidbits and trivia, and share my personal experience with the episode. We also hear from my patreon supporters and what they think of the episode. So check me out and give it a listen. Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/enchantmentofeternity

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 7 "Little Green Men" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode with the silly premise of Quark, Rom, and Nog being the Roswell aliens as a freak accident takes the trio back in time to the 1950's. Look I admit the premise sounds funny, but I find the episode itself to be mostly boring. It's just the 3 of them sitting in a room being questioned by a bunch of flat caricatures and...
Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 9 "Tattoo" explained. Join me as I review and recap the first big Chakotay episode that really gets into his character and back story with his father. However it is also controversial in its handling of Native American culture which is criticized by not being accurate. This has to do with the show's advisor on Native American culture being a known fraud. While I'm sure the show runners' hearts we...
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 6 "Starship Down" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode that tries to be like "Balance of Terror" and "Disaster" and ends up doing neither very well and is done much better years later in "Strange New Worlds". The cat and mouse theme with Jem'hadar is exciting and works for a while until we get to the Disaster elements, then the episode kind of falls apart. Sisko and Kira a...
Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 8 "Persistence of Vision" explained. Join me as I review and recap a very creepy episode, one that I thought would suck because it was focused on Janeway's Gothic Holonovel, but it turned out to be one of the creepiest episodes of Trek and super intense. And I love how it uses Kes and her telepathic abilities. It may goes a bit too far at the end, but still has a strong sense of foreboding throug...
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 5 "Rejoined" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode with the first same sex couple kiss in Star Trek, but it's more than just that it tells a great a powerful love story and the kiss isn't done as a ploy. In fact it's never even mentioned that the two lovers are the same sex implying such matters don't matter in the 24th century, however at the same time the story of the Tri...
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 4 "Indiscretion" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Kira goes off with Dukat looking for a ship she knew about before the show started, because it had a friend she knew before the show started on it. And turns out that friend I care nothing about is in fact dead when they find the wreckage of the ship. But the real story kicks in when we learn Dukat had a mistress ...
Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 7 "Parturition" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Neelix and Tom fight over Neelix being rightfully jealous over Tom's flirting with Kes, and he finally admits he is in fact in love with her. But the two of them are sent on shuttle craft mission and of course the shuttle crashes because this is Star Trek which gives the two of them time to bond over taking care of an alie...
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 3 "Hippocratic Oath" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Bashir and O'Brien are face with a powerful moral dilemma. When they taken prisoner by the Jem'hadar, but soon find they are attempting to defect from the Dominion and they're leader is apparently free of the drug katracel white and he wants Bashir to find a way to free the rest of the Jem'hadar in his group. ...
Join me as I cover one of the best episodes of Deep Space Nine, a touching father / son story "The Visitor"

Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 6 "Twisted" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where the crew wonder around Voyager looking for certain rooms and can't seem to find them. You would think that Neelix slipped some drugs into his cake. But it just turns out that it's yet again some anomaly BS and the solution was just for them to sit around and do nothing. *yawn* Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the epis...
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 1 "The Way of the Warrior" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Worf joins the crew and DS9 must face off against the Klingons for some reason. And that reason is: that the studio demanded it in a ploy in order to boost ratings, while not understanding that in the era of TNG Klingons work much better as an uneasy ally and not an enemy. The writers didn't like and wer...
Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 5 "Non Sequitur" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Harry Kim wakes up in another timeline where he never went to Voyager and is at home with his loving girl friend who is now his fiancée. However his happiness comes out the expense of two people including Tom Paris whose life has fallen apart without Harry. So it makes total sense to me that Kim wouldn't be willing to liv...
Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 4 "Elogium" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Voyager encounters a bunch of space aliens that see Voyager as a potential mate. And this someone cause Kes to prematurely go into a Ocampan phase where she can gives birth and it only comes once in a lifetime so Neelix and Kes debate whether they should have a child. But in the end it doesn't matter because they find out beca...
Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 3 "Projections" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode that starts out good with an intriguing scenario where the Doctor wakes up alone and the ship seems abandoned until he finds B'elanna, Janeway and Neelix are the only ones left on the ship the rest of the crew were forced to abandon ship and then captured by the Kazon. A promising story but then it starts going down hill when Ba...
Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 2 "Initiations" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Nog appears as a Kazon. I mean it's Aaron Eisenberg the actor who plays Nog, playing a Kazon, but you can't hear his voice without hearing Nog. And he's every bit as annoying as Nog and then some. And we delve deeper into Kazon culture and that's just as boring as it sounds, as the Kazon are just budget Klingons. So the ep...
Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 1 "The 37's" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Janeway meets Emilia Earhart, in a TOS style episode where we learn that aliens travelled the vast distance of the galaxy just so they could gather up slave labor, like they couldn't find any closer. Anyway among the humans abducted by aliens from Earth in 1937 is Emilia Earhart who is still in stasis which Voyager revised. B...
