Rock N LOL
A podcast exploring the Philadelphia stand up comedy and rock scenes. Hosted by standup comic Chris Kay and rock guitiarist, Julie Exter of Sacred Monsters, the podcast features interviews with local comedians and rock bands to find out what makes them get up on stage. We want to know what makes local artists tick. Each episode will feature a local artist and a discussion of what makes them, and Philadelphia, unique.

Our favorite band, Sludge, is finally in the studio with us. We became fans of Sludge when they became super fans of the podcast. On this epsiode, we talk to these high school grunge rockers about their band, their experience performing, and how Sludge came to be.
Chris and Julie, meanwhile, have tales of woe that include a baby firing from both ends, and a McDonald's bathroom encroachment.

Comic Lilly Flynn got her start in college, at Millesville where our previous guest, Rasheed Wesley Jr. first started standup. After a break, she started again in the same comedy class Chris was in. Since then, Lilly has performed all over the region.
