One of my all time favourite UFO stories, this one has sightings from multiple witnesses (including policemen and pilots), radar evidence and physical evidence. No wonder they call it "Canada's Roswell".

In the mid 1960s the town of Point Pleasant, Virginia was besieged by a year-long series of sightings of a strange winged creature which culminated in the deaths of 46 people. The creature was the size of a man with glowing red eyes and huge bat wings and filled those unfortunate enough to see him with a bottomless dread.
