Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hey, thanks for listener, and welcome back to the Brian
Mud Show. Time now for today's top three takeaways.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Yeah, so disclosure, I mean Epstein disclosure, did it actually happen?
I got some interesting names that were in the mix yesterday,
but not exactly disclosure by the way. Buffett, Jimmy Buffett
one of the new names pop it up. Michael Bloomberg,
Nick Jagger, Alec Baldwin, Michael Jackson, Richard Branson, all people
(00:35):
that popped up on the latest list that was dropped
late in the day yesterday. We'll hit it in my
top three takeaways here in a minute. But actually we
got the continizant classic that's been going on starting yesterday
and underway again today. And our friend, my buddy the Greek,
been out there broadcasting the past couple of days from
(00:57):
the classic tell us all about a Greek.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
It's a great event.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Yesterday it was a great start to add unbelievable crowds
they shot. The kids shot a record fifty nine, which
is unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
And that kid is Jake Knapp.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
Yeah, unbelievable. I mean, the kid's thirty years old. I
asked you before if.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
You single, but he doesn't look like you're tied.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
No, not my time.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
He's got a stash. He's not quite as quaift as you.
I'm not sure it's a good fit.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
But no big day. We were there with Tito's Haami Vaka,
a lot of fun, great crowds for Thursday.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
It's we did it.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
We have done excusing for like ten years. It seemed
like yesterday was one of the best Thursday crowds I've
seen in years.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Oh yeah, yeah it was.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
And the weather was beautiful.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
The weather's been terrific. Yeah, no doubt about that.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
That's always been one, it seems like for in recent
years we always would have, you know, the first couple
of days a problem there.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
So that's good.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
So you actually telling me that things are a little
bit different out there with the experience over the old
Haunt days.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Uh, yeah, it's a little bit different. I think it's
a little bit more. Uh there's not as many i
want to say, sponsored tens and things like that.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
The party, Yeah, the party turned down.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
And that was Thursday. Now Sunday changes obviously the last
day and people are off and again most people attend
game attained yesterday or either off obviously took a day
off or real golf fans. And I think that's the
thing with golf. Sometimes they go back and forth like
how we're gonna increase. Every sport wants to increase, But
you need the casual fan, you know. And I think
the casual fan really is not paying attention to the
(02:24):
thing at all. They really don't know. Like, if you
want to make money yesterday, you go up to ten
people and ask them to name three golfers, they would
have a hard time that we're playing yesterday.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Okay, well, And that's always been one of the challenges,
right is trying to get the right names, the big
names for what used to be the Honda now is
the Cognizant Classic. And you know, as you're trying to
sort that whole deal. I speaking of money, how much
money is laid out there in golf these days? I
mean in the betting scene, gambling scene.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Oh, it's getting bigger and bigger. It really is getting
bigger and bigger. The younger demo likes it, which is
always a big thing in any business. You need the
younger crowd, whether it's the music industry, the gambling industry,
you need to embrace it. And they're they're getting better
and gambling. Uh, with golf is different because you can
bet on a guy to finish in the top ten,
which is a big thing. He doesn't have to win.
(03:14):
You can also bet on a guy like his actual score.
You can bet on certain guys against certain guys, but
a lot of guys who bet I talked to him
yesterday going into these sto much. No, there's no likely.
Years ago it was Tiger against the field. I don't
see that anymore. It's really who has a big day
like the kid had yesterday, and who gets hot well?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
And you know greet co course, he hosts the Penthouse
and Real Radio from ten until two, and then the
Greek Zone, which is all about sports gambling that takes
place from two until three. You get that in Real
Radio and the Gambler. And so what is your big
tip for this weekend? What you got for us this weekend?
Speaker 3 (03:50):
For this weekend?
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, how we're gonna make money?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Well, let me try to say Calves and Celtics tonight.
I'm gonna go with the Calves, all right, that's tonight, Okay,
And that's about it. College ball is going to pick
up march Man. This is right around the corner, which
is always a great time of year. And last night
I found out that Las Vegas Strip Casinos showed a
profit from last year of twenty two percent.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
So that's good.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
When I'm not there and they're up twenty two percent,
I think that's a big increase. This is always a
good thing when the economy's going in the right direction,
you know that, no doubt.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, so they're great economics.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yes, and Bri might you're gonna see if you're going
to come on the penalse today, maybe talk about a
couple of stories that people brought up about situations I
had in w.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
J and NO with some of your guests, including that
that current National Security advisor.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yes, I had no cluel yours, I had no club.
When I walked in, I was like, can you hit
me a table? How do how do you actually know
if somebody is somebody? And a lot of areas in
life just not that there's a lot of hockey players
you know, go through if you're not a fan, I
mean you know what I might not know? You Finally,
listening to Jay and.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
O every day, one more real quick for you.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
You ever think we're going to get like legit full
Epstein disclosure.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
I don't know enough about it to really have an
opinion on it, Okay, but I think if the demand
and more and more people start knocking on the door,
maybe you know. So I don't know enough about it
to have an opinion on it, and I don't know
something enough. I don't like to give an opinion, but
I do like the Cavs tonight over to cents.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
There you go, pease see Greek in just a bit.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
I'll join him for sure, Real Radio Today, all right,
And we do have some interesting stories, including his run
in with the current National Security Advisor, and until we've
had some of my friends around here and he hasn't known,
it's been interesting at times,
