Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jersey and Amanda jam Nation.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
We were just talking before we lost a lot of people.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Over the holiday break, Lisa Marie Presley and I found
the interview. Remember we caught up with her and the
conspiracy people are saying that it was the COVID vaccine.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Of course, it's the COVID vaccine that killed up.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Did you know?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
And also then there was inbreeding.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Did you hear about that Elvis's grandparents were first cousins
and that heart disease was part of the family. Do
you know that heart disease?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
We did a song called Kissing Cousins.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Well everyone did in those days, all about Jerry Lee
Lewis married his cousin, but she was thirteen. A different story.
But heart disease kills more women than breast cancer does.
In cancers and illnesses like that, you get a scare
and you work your way through it and hopefully with
a great result. With this kind of thing, you don't

(00:50):
get us. You often don't get a second chance. And
that's what happened with Lisa Marie because Elvis died from
heart issues in his early forties, and everyone blamed the
excesses of the way he was living. But maybe just genetically.
His mother died from heart condition as well. She was
an alcoholic, but there might be a predisposition to a
dodgy heart.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
She was in the house when Elvis died. Little lessa marine.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Yes, scary thing like she has nine And that's when
you have a really good relationship with your dad, especially
for girls. I think that you know, that's when they
really impact that life.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
So life, yeah, and what a life. From the minute
she was born. There was a press release, a press
conference that she was born. She was such a beloved
child and meant so much to America. These two people
that produced this beautiful child. But the life that she
had was pretty tough as well. And she lost her
son to suicide just a couple of years ago, which

(01:43):
broke her heart. So she has three daughters and her
mum who were mourning her.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Now we caught up with her. I can't remember where
this was.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
I have found it though, and we talked about all
the rumors that used to go around. I remember, for one,
there was this rumor about that she gave her dad
a motorcycle, a Harley Day it's a motor at Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
I've heard this. This rumor has gone on forever and ever,
so we put it to her. Is it true that
there was.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
A motorcycle that someone bought and on the side standard
said happy birthday Daddy?

Speaker 2 (02:12):
And it was that was engraved in there?

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Because it's one of those urban myths that have been
going around for a long time.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
That is a myth I have not heard yet. Really,
I would have to look into it. I could have
been very, very very young, and somebody might not have
told me that I did that.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
I would imagine that you would have been getting quite
the pocket money to buy your dad a motorcycle for
his birthday.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Yeah, I mean, I wonder what I was doing at
that agency, get that kind of honeywa.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
You know there must be so many myths written about
you as well. Do you do you laugh at them?
Do you switch off? How do you deal with it?

Speaker 4 (02:43):
I hate it? You know, I hate it? I mostly
hate it.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Do you think it's harder being a celebrity today than
it would have been in your dad's era? With all
the mobile phones and access to cameras and things? Is
it harder now?

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Yes? I think absolutely it is. It is because people,
do you know there is everyone's a paparazzi with their phone.
I mean, I could be sitting there eating with my
children and somebody's acting like they're texting and they're photographing
or they're videoing me, you know what I mean. So
it's like I'm always on the lookout. Like that's just different.
I mean, it makes me a little more reclusive. Definitely
different than when I grew up. And when I grew up,

(03:19):
you didn't want to be in the tabloids, you didn't
want to be photographed. But now lots of celebrities like
being photographs, so it's different. You know, and people you
know and they call them celebrities, call them to the
park while they are there their children or while they
go to a Starbucks or whatever, you know, and say
then bring the paparazzi, and some people love it.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Did your dad ever meet Michael? I'm sorry, did your
dad ever meet Michael?

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I believe when they were younger. He was younger, when
we were younger. I met him when I was five.
Jackson five and my dad were both playing was the
Hilt and then the Jacksons are playing down the way,
and I think at some point they met as I
went to the Jackson five show at five, and he
I think they went to meet his show something when
he was little.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
You have the most sexy voice. I can only imagine
that your singing voice is going to be extraordinary.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Oh my god, I hate my voice, but thank you.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
It's beautiful.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Why do you hate your voice?

Speaker 4 (04:14):
You don't know you hear your own voice. I don't
know what it is like a cat, but thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
I'm oh, you've got a beautiful, lovely southern. It's a
nice southern little Are you.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
A chained smoker because you get that beautiful sound and
hopefully you're not a smoker to get that, but it
sounds fats.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Oh my god. I smoked my whole life until seven
years ago. My husband and I quit together, the hardest
thing I've ever done in my life. Seven years without cigarettes,
and I can't believe I did it.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
I used to only smoke after sex, and so I
haven't a cigarette for you for sharing.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
That was twenty fourteen.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Doesn't she sound lovely?

Speaker 2 (04:50):
We had a great chat with a great chat.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
And you know, as as we were saying earlier, we
don't think of her as a singer, but her voice
is beautiful. I have listened to this.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
That is good, isn't it?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
But do you want to get the arms on the
hairs on your arms, not the arms on your hairs?
Standing up. This is her singing a duet with her father.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Understand you.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Want to be.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Take a look at you.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
I'll Drew separate will then I guess they're together forever.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Now I've got goosebumps, even on my face.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Lisa Marie Presley, what a topic.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Yes,
