(07:55):
a ferry.

Speaker 11 (09:07):
I can definitely hear water. I haven't gone very far.
We've got to be near the river. I'm guessing Corrow drive.
Maybe I'm getting on a ferry.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
We've had a few sightings too. Thirteen one oh six five.
If you reckon, you've seen Robin, Kip or Corio. It's
blindfolded somewhere in Brisbane. It's now time to cross the Kip.
Are you there, mate?
Speaker 13 (09:28):
I am Drew, I am mate. I mean, I don't
know where there is, but I'm here. My sense of
direction isn't great, but I think if I had the guess,
I traveled north. I've been in the car for about
twenty twenty five minutes. I don't know if we've just
been circling around and I heard construction, a little bit
of construction work.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Robin said she could hear water. Any sign of water
sounds no.
Speaker 13 (09:53):
You sure she wasn't just feeling no water? No, no, no,
I don't think I've heard any water. I do feel
like I'm like maybe at a bus stop or like
at a bus depot. At the moment, I'm just I'm
definitely standing on concrete, like I'm on solid ground. There's
(10:14):
a lot of a lot of wind around. Actually, I
can hang on, I can hear things. This sounds like
a train to me.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, I can. There's a big clue.
Speaker 13 (10:27):
Okay, yeah, I'm at a train station.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
So you were taking twenty five to thirty minutes ago.
Keep you reckon. You're on the road for about fifteen minutes.
Maybe it's like the the Ferny Grove line somewhere, maybe
a Nagura Mitchelton comparea, that kind of area.
Speaker 13 (10:41):
I've got no idea, mate, I don't know. They could
have just been They could be right down the road
from like Milky stations. But I could be in the city. Ayeah,
this or whatever train's gone by now. It doesn't sound
like it's a passenger train, So I don't know. I'm
saying I'm a train station. That's all I've got.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
I don't know, mate, all right, Well, is Kip going
to get on that train or is it a bit
of a decoy. Don't forget Your very first official clue

We checked him with Kip only a few minutes ago too.
Speaker 13 (13:09):
It sounds like a train to me. Oh okay, yeah,
I'm at a train.
Speaker 11 (13:13):
Stay.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
We will cross the Coreotes in the next ten minutes
as well. But in the meantime, the sightings across Brisbane
have been coming in thick and fast. On the text
line O four O nine ninety seven three nine seven three.
If you've seen the guys, or give us a call
thirteen one O six five got a text Tea from Dale.
He says, I saw someone with a blindfold near the
bus station at the plaza at Brown's Planes, which he
(13:37):
thought was really weird until he listened to the radio
and fared out what's going on? And I've got Bianca
from Mount Omni on the phone here, thirteen one O
six five, Bianca, what have you spotted?
Speaker 12 (13:48):
Well, I've been googling choreos because I don't know what
he looks like. And I think that I spotted one
of the Broncos on my way to work. They were
at it on phone at the I think it was
the United Petrol station on Oxley Road in Sherwood. But
I'm really worried that I'm getting Corey mixed up with
(14:09):
Corey Parker.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
I'm not sure Parker's got a lot more gray hair.
Speaker 12 (14:15):
Oh maybe it wasn't him.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Then awesome, Thank you, Bianca.
Speaker 12 (14:20):
No worry.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
From the west side. We go to the south side now.
Emma has caught us on thirteen one I six '
five from Matcravat. Have you spotted one of our guys
as well, Emma?
Speaker 14 (14:30):
I think so. Look, I think Kip looks like a
lot of people with the beard and the glasses. But
I've seen so far of that. I think I've seen
two people that look like Kick this morning already. One
was in the maca a Wishart in the drive through,
though he was driving and he had his glasses on.
But the other one, I'm convinced it was Kit. It
was mac about bus station and someone was filming him
on their bone. So that's on Logan Road. And I
(14:52):
turned around to come back and follow the car, but
it was too late because they'd already gone by then.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
But yes, in the drive through the first one you
said Kip was driving or the possible Kip. Surely he
didn't still have that thing over his head, right?
Speaker 10 (15:06):
Oh?
Speaker 14 (15:07):
Yes, good point. No, No, then that was just another
guy that looks like Kip.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
So many calls coming through, another one to hear James
from Klontarf, Who did you spot? Mate?
Speaker 13 (15:16):
I reckonize saw Robin Bailey had long red hair in
the heels. I mean, do you remember what she was wearing?
Speaker 10 (15:22):
What was she wearing heels.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
Before she left the I mean I can't give you,
I can't give you early clues. I don't even know
where they're going, mate, What would they tell me?
Speaker 13 (15:30):
I thought, I get something out of them.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Okay, could any of those sightings be Robin, Kip and
Cory Oates. We are going to catch up with Corey
in the next ten minutes to see if he can
give us some clues. There's a pretty high chance of
that too, because Corey never shuts up. As you know.
I'm told they will be at the location as well
where they'll be hiding before nine o'clock this morning. This
is it Brisbane's biggest game of hide and seek, where
(15:54):
one knock could win you twenty thousand dollars. Register first,
don't forget that before we go knocking Kiss ninety seven
to three dot com dot Au.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Now with.
Speaker 9 (16:09):
Brisbane's biggest game of nine seed.
Speaker 10 (16:12):
Is on.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
If you missed it. All three of them were taken
from the studio around eight o'clock this morning and now
it's up to you, Brisbane to find them to score
twenty thousand dollars. Now, Robin was the first one to
be taken, and she said this when we spoke to
her a short time ago.
Speaker 11 (16:33):
I wouldn't gone very far. We've got to be near
the river. I'm guessing Corrow drive. Maybe I'm getting on
a ferry.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Then we spoke to Kip, who had this to say.
Speaker 13 (16:43):
Sounds like a train to me. Oh okay, yeah, I'm
a trail.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
And we've also had a heap of calls from listeners
all over Brisbane who think they may have seen the
guys traveling.
Speaker 12 (16:54):
I think that I spotted one of the Broncos at
the I think it was the United Petrol station on
Oxley Road and show what.
Speaker 14 (17:00):
I'm convinced it was kid Mark about buff station and
someone was feeling him on the baron.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Okay, so now it's time to cross to the final
member of the Brecky Show. He was the last one
to be taken. Let's see if we can get some
early clues as to where the guys are going into hiding.
Corey Oates, are you there, mate?
Speaker 13 (17:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (17:19):
I am barely this driver.
Speaker 16 (17:20):
I'll tell you what I am going everywhere.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
So talk us through it and paint the picture you're
Are you in the car?
Speaker 16 (17:28):
I've been in his car.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
It's been at least twenty minutes.
Speaker 15 (17:31):
I've got this bag of I no idea where I'm going,
and I've got the Wilders driver. This is actually scary
going on here.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
So any any idea which direction you're headed because like
left or right out of the driveway here at Milton,
Like any ideas.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
I believe maybe maybe left, I got no.
Speaker 16 (17:50):
I think the driver got lost.
Speaker 13 (17:51):
To be fair, I've got no idea.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
I think we did a couple of couple of rings.
Speaker 15 (17:56):
We went around in circles.
Speaker 10 (17:59):
It feels like I gravel road.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Are you excited about this experience, Corey or are you nervous?
Speaker 11 (18:04):
Me?
Speaker 15 (18:04):
To be honest, I'm actually a little bit excited.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Yeah, because you did a lot of this sort of
stuff with the Broncos, right, like you go to army
dams and stuff like that, So this is this is
not going to phase you too much, right, Yeah?
Speaker 15 (18:14):
It never had a bag on my head day.
Speaker 16 (18:16):
This park is a bit weird.
Speaker 15 (18:17):
It's a bit scary of this part because yeah, I
get not knowing where I'm going, that's the hard part.
But it's excited to actually get there because I don't know.
I feel like I don't really bond well with Kip.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
True, what if I know you're excited, but what if
you end up in a tuna factory, mate.
Speaker 15 (18:34):
Look, that'll be That'll be devastation to everyone if there's
tuner involved with that smell I'm out.
Speaker 16 (18:40):

Speaker 16 (18:44):

Speaker 15 (18:48):
I think I think we're getting out.
Speaker 16 (18:51):
Yeah, I believe we're going to be getting out. This
is going to be interesting.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
All right, are you? Are you out of the car now, Corey?
Speaker 16 (18:57):
I'm getting out now, yes, Okay.
Speaker 2 (18:59):

a road? Is it gravel? What's going on?

Yeah, okay, oh okay, well, yes it's a space.
Speaker 17 (22:14):
Yeah, I don't know what I was expecting. But this
is interesting.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
Well, I still have no idea.
Speaker 9 (22:21):
Where we are.
Speaker 5 (22:22):
You've still got the blindfold on, mate.
Speaker 15 (22:25):
Thank you.
Speaker 16 (22:26):
I'm glad.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
I'm glad you told you that.
Speaker 7 (22:31):
Now, all right, let's have a listen to the moment.
Speaker 14 (22:37):
The winner Abama celebrity get me out of here for
twenty twenty five?
Speaker 1 (22:42):
Is it is?
Speaker 2 (22:48):
Joins us?
Speaker 6 (22:49):
Now?
Speaker 5 (22:49):
Well done, Sammy, congratulations mate?
Speaker 16 (22:52):
Oh, thank you very much, Kip.
Speaker 5 (22:54):
Now, now Cory called you. I have to say Corey
called it very early.
Speaker 7 (22:58):
I called it mate day one one, after we'd seen
the first episode.
Speaker 5 (23:01):
He said, Sam, he's going to win this thing.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Yeah, as soon as I know you're on it, I'm like,
he's I was filthy it did and tell me for
one Yeah, but.
Speaker 16 (23:10):
It's all very secretive. I'll tell you this. I'll give
you a bit of a and inside. Now I told
three people. That's it. So I told my wife. I
told a good friend of ours, Karina, who Corey knows.
He was running my social media while I was over there.
And I had a conversation with my brother in law
just about a few different charities. So that's all. That's
all I told. I didn't even tell the kids. The
(23:31):
kids had no idea.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
So I'm your third kid mate, so I didn't know.
Speaker 16 (23:37):
But I did feel like I raised yes, How was it, Sammy?
Speaker 4 (23:42):
It looked like, I mean, you are you have such
a big heart and you know the way you took
care of Reggie and just the way you presented yourself.
Speaker 17 (23:51):
Of course you were going to win, but how was
it for you?
Speaker 16 (23:55):
As Corey would know, we're pretty spoilt where we live
here in Samford. It was just like it was in
my backyard really, but it was It was really nice
to show Australia a different side of Sam Dina. I
think a lot of people know and have known me
from the footy things that I've done in the past
and playing footy. I used to always laugh when people
(24:16):
used to stop Rachel in the street and you know,
you know Sam diy like is he really that intense
at home all the time? And you know he must
be like a real funny dude at home. But you know,
I have a big heart and Corey, we'll probably tell
you this as well. You know, we do a lot
of charity work already with the stuff that we do
at the Broncos, and that was something that I always
(24:37):
leaned into as well. I think when you're when you're
lucky and fortunate enough to be healthy, have your own health.
You know, I've got healthy kids. I'm very lucky. I
have a beautiful home, and you know I have food
on the table most nights. I'm always more than happy
to give back in any which way I can. So No,
it was a great experience and I absolutely loved it.
Speaker 7 (24:57):
Having a whole month away. Mate, talk us during the
moment when got to see your kids again.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
It made me cry.
Speaker 16 (25:02):
Oh mate, Yeah, I think I'm pretty lucky. They didn't
show too much, but yeah, there was some tears there.
I think I had the bumste I had to columminate
to the waterfall. Red and Mattie were just sitting in
camp the big class sweat.
Speaker 5 (25:21):
I just figure you can stand to lose a couple.
Speaker 16 (25:26):
I will say that I did drop twelve kegs in there.
Must have had a good Christmas. It was really great
and they probably made the experience, you know, a thousand
times better. Was the opportunity to to see Rachel girls
right there at the end, and you know, they went
very nice to me. Rice and beans and but but
(25:51):
we got to eat in camp so you've got to
go through those through those struggles to get some food.
Speaker 7 (25:55):
Sometimes while you've been away, we've been running this this
promotion Sammy that we're about to get taken and it's
going to happen any any moment. Now, we're going to
be put in hiding somewhere in Brisbane, lockdown into a
house or a shared or something, and the first person
to knock on the door and find us wins twenty
thousand bucks. And we could be we don't know, it
could be a week, could be more. Any advice, like
you've spent some time with Corey touring.
Speaker 9 (26:17):
Any advice, Yeah, you plug?
Speaker 2 (26:25):
You know I do.
Speaker 5 (26:26):
I've got noise canceling break it, do you.
Speaker 17 (26:30):
Know, Sammy.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
The other thing that I'm slightly worried about is him
getting bored.
Speaker 9 (26:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (26:35):
Yeah, that's that's probably the biggest thing. But you know, Corey,
just find a routine, mate like you always have, and
just try to do that every day and trying not
to annoy Robin.
Speaker 17 (26:47):
Yeah, because Kip will kill you.
Speaker 16 (26:52):
Congratulations, well done, Thank you very much. Appreciate the chat.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Gyce now Coorios the podcast.
Speaker 5 (27:03):
So Valentine's was was Friday night? What did you do.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Well.
Speaker 17 (27:07):
We had a friend of Olivia's. He came down.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
There was a big meeting that they were involved in.
He lives in Cairns. He's an older gentleman. Yeah, and
he was staying with us for the weekend. So we
had a third wheel.
Speaker 5 (27:21):
That is not romantic.
Speaker 17 (27:22):
It really wasn't.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
Gentleman staying over with meetings.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
That's why, you.
Speaker 17 (27:29):
Know, like that's my last weekend.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
Like the weekend before we did soak bath house together,
just to have you know, like every day should be
Valentine's Day and all that.
Speaker 7 (27:39):
Yeah, yeah, so we I had I know, Corey's got
some good audio because I think you've probably succeeded. I
I did organize dinner. I booked booked a restaurant now
because we've got we had Raffi's five and our eight
month old baby.
Speaker 5 (27:55):
We booked dinner at five a Valentine. So we rocked
into dinner at five.
Speaker 7 (28:02):
It was the worst meal. Like the food was great,
there's nothing to do with the food. But Sienna's starting
to eat, she's starting to have solids, and she was
just in a mood and was just throwing things, throwing
everything that you put in front of her. She would
throw she like, honestly, we would have Naomi did the
heavy lifting over that side of the table.
Speaker 5 (28:24):
And I would never have guests just picked up. She
picked up her bottle and a spoon.
Speaker 7 (28:28):
I'm going to say forty times in this half hour meal.
Like she was exhausted at the end of the meal.
And so the only thing I could do for Valentine's like,
we just went to.
Speaker 5 (28:37):
Bed after it was the next morning.
Speaker 7 (28:40):
I got up at five when they both woke up,
Raffi and Siena, and I took them all downstairs to
let Naomi sleep in. So that was kind of my
Valentine's gift. But that's a good one. I mashed the banana,
so I was feeding Siena this mash banana. I got
the audio of this, and I thought Raffi was pretty
funny when he jumped in the line, because when she
eats like nothing and it all just comes out of
(29:01):
her mouth.
Speaker 5 (29:01):
So this is her eating a mash.
Speaker 7 (29:04):
I like to eat eat, eat apples and bananas, bananas.
Speaker 9 (29:12):
I like to speak.
Speaker 8 (29:15):
Speak.
Speaker 5 (29:20):
It's just coming to speak to school. He did great.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
That was like, was that really just that you can
put yourself singing up again?
Speaker 5 (29:31):
Like that's it. We've got more of that going. Yeah,
how did you go with you? Because you said you
were going to lift and useless for years.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
Useless I normally just I just a fail of gods. Actually,
I was home and I was talking to Yeah, and
we were almost about to catch up before he went
to timber right, and and I'm getting back and he said, no, man,
I can't.
Speaker 17 (29:57):
Say that, missus.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
So Friday night you were going to catch lunchtime and
he's like, I've got to go see her before she
cracks it because I'm going away for the whole weekend.
Speaker 5 (30:07):
And then I knew her, they'll go.
Speaker 7 (30:09):
I rocked up for a coffee where they're having.
Speaker 8 (30:15):
You are.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
And you're a pair with you My Valentine's dad's mother, Valentine.
Speaker 17 (30:24):
What happened with your wife?
Speaker 3 (30:26):
Well, yeah, so I got home, tried to have a
sleep before she got home. I organized everything, so the
kids were getting started over any pars and she dropped
them off and Valentine Jean and yeah, so she got home,
got dressed, I had I had everything booked. At dinner,
(30:46):
five thirty dinner, it was yeah, okay, and mine was
delicious too, absolutely amazing. And then yeah, I got there,
got through dinner. I had a couple of beers, and
I was like, I was I was really wanting to
go for a couple of beers or drinks after I
got through a dinner about seven o'clock and I'm like,
I'm ready for bed.
Speaker 17 (31:08):
Breakfast radio, and she was like, okay.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
I really thought she was going to go for a drink.
I'm like, okay, I'll come for a drink then, and
she's like, no, You're that's it, yawning.
Speaker 17 (31:17):
Sleeves, and didn't you have a chat to her?
Speaker 3 (31:21):
Yeah, I just thought i'd ask you how it went.
How was your Valentine's Day?
Speaker 13 (31:25):
It was very good, Verry, you said I forgot. I
didn't think that you would have forgotten.
Speaker 11 (31:31):
I just didn't think you would have gone that much effort.
Speaker 16 (31:34):
It was pretty good.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
Bet that was dinner.
Speaker 18 (31:38):
Apart from your yawning is pretty much.
Speaker 5 (31:41):
It's pretty good that way.
Speaker 16 (31:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
I was trying to really not there say anything bad.
Speaker 10 (31:45):
I knew that was coming.
Speaker 17 (31:47):
Okay, we have.
Speaker 4 (31:48):
Got some galactic donuts. And I just feel if you
had a miserable Valentine's Day, if it all went horribly
wrong for whatever reason, then give us.
Speaker 17 (31:57):
A call thirteen one o six.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
Five rowing now with coorios?
Speaker 5 (32:05):
Well we want of those? Did you did you have
a partner that tried? Did you have a partner that failed?
Were you the one that failed? On Valentine's thirteen one
oh sixty fives? Our number, Simon have comedale?
Speaker 17 (32:16):
What happened?
Speaker 9 (32:17):
So?
Speaker 10 (32:18):
I failed big time this year. I had a nice
dinner booked, but then work had me go to Singapore urgently,
so my wife, my wife got the pleasure of packing
my bag while I was at work.
Speaker 17 (32:31):
Are you talking to us from Brisbane?
Speaker 10 (32:33):
Yeah, I'm back in Brisbane. I was only there for
it's a bit over twenty four hours.
Speaker 4 (32:39):
Did you solve the problems of the Singaporean world?
Speaker 10 (32:43):
I did what I needed to do. But we're actually
in the car pulled over at the moment and my wife,
you guys were talking the same how are you going
to make it up? And I said, well, I'll here.
I'm going to get some galactic donuts.
Speaker 5 (32:55):
I got one hundred dollars worth of galactic donuts, mate,
so enjoy it.
Speaker 10 (32:58):
Does that make up.
Speaker 17 (33:02):
What's her name? Eleene? Does that make up for it?
Speaker 11 (33:06):
It's a good start.
Speaker 17 (33:07):
Yeah, to try hard?
Speaker 5 (33:10):
I'm just saying, you need to buy coffees as well
as sam.
Speaker 17 (33:14):
A park reade what happened.
Speaker 18 (33:16):
So I feel like this is a bit of a
group failure. So I had to pick up my daughter
early from daycare because she was vomiting. And then I
picked her up, she seems like pretty fine. So we
still decide to go out to Valentine's dinner, like my husband,
me and her, And then we're eating, almost done, and
my husband has to go to the first room, comes
(33:37):
back saying he doesn't feel very good, and like, okay,
well let's go home. We'll finish up our home. So
we did like a Valentine's dessert. We all got to bed,
and I wake up pretty early in the morning. I'm
not well, and I quickly decide that well found out
that we all have gas strows.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
How good of kids?
Speaker 17 (33:59):
Yeah, I know, I love daycare. Have you been sing
all weekends?
Speaker 15 (34:04):
Sir?
Speaker 2 (34:05):
Pretty much?
Speaker 18 (34:05):
Yeah, it's all weeken only like late afternoon of the day.
Speaker 3 (34:10):
Maybe wait a little, just a couple of days before
you eat these days.
Speaker 5 (34:13):
You don't redeem this about you. Just yeah, you got
one hundred bucks to spend the galactic.
Speaker 7 (34:17):
Donuts at least you're low on nutrients, so like when
it's time you just you can have guilt free. Galactic
Donuts is a Queensland owned and created business available on
Daisy Hill, moray Field and Caloundra. We've got to get
to news when we come back. What's my scene, Coreo.
