Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Will and Woody Willan Moody, brought to you by
NIB on your Monday. Bridget Jones Mad About the Boy
is in cinemas this Thursday and celebrate.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
We are joined by rene Es el.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
Worgan Leo and she would tell NGO for guys, we
saw the movie the other day and we loved it.
We are we kind of obviously grew up with Bridget Jones,
so we were so happy to see it back on
the screens. My first question, though, isn't for you, Renee.
It is? It is a certainly something that comes with
(00:34):
Bridget Jones every time. Is obviously the sexy undies versus
the convenient undies, which makes a return in this movie
obviously needs to. But I want to ask the boys
because Woody and I actually talk about this quite a bit.
Do you guys have sexy undies and convenient undies?
Speaker 3 (00:51):
You guys talk about this quite a bit.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah, we almost daily.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
We have a little we have a little checking when
we see each other at work and go sexy undies
or convenient undies today.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
No, yeah, might all very just plain.
Speaker 5 (01:06):
I don't have a specific like.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
All this is my.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I've never I can honestly say, I've never thought about
that before. Really, I've never thought about that, But I
guess now that I do think about it, I think
they're all sexy.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
Actually, my inclination is sexy.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
What do you what are you wearing today? What? What?
What is it?
Speaker 1 (01:34):
What is you've got to be rocking a Calvin Klein?
If they're always sexy, surely.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
I don't feel like I should be here.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
That's how I am here. Just make you very uncomfortable, Renee.
That's the aim of this interview. I want to talk
about the sexy.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Dive in the water.
Speaker 4 (01:56):
I mean it is just didn't get to see the
undies though in that scene. But Leo, I once did
a beer commercial mate, and in the commercial ID to
spill a bit of beer on my T shirt And
every time we did a retake, it was very frustrating
because we had to dry my T shirt obviously to
start the scene again.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I'm curious, in a scene.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Where you have to dive in the water, how annoying
was it to do multiple takes?
Speaker 5 (02:24):
Well, the secret is nail it on the first one.
But truthfully, we had about seven different white shirts and
so every time I got out, if we needed a reset.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
But the dive you did just the diver.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Nailed it.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
But we did, you know, the costume department working tirelessly
to air dry it my jeans T shirt.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Was there like a Peter representative on stand by people
that want to see the movie. They do throw a
dog in the pool, and the dog does look pretty
happless there, and it doesn't look like there's any stairs
or anything to get out of there. I'm wondering I
was there someone kind of like looking after the dog
safety there because I was.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
I was a little bit worried for the little dog.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Me. Yeah, I had to nail it on the first time.
We've got more with Renees Elwiger Leo Woodall, and she
would tell edgo four right up next to the stars
of the brand new Bridget Jones Diary more with them
on the other side.
Speaker 2 (03:29):

Obviously this has changed in its incarnation, it is as
iconic as ever. How did it feel being Bridget Jones again,
but with totally new men around you?
Speaker 2 (03:57):
I suppose it was tough.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Best job in the world.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
It is the best job in the world.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Foot rotten rotten for twenty five years now. Yeah, and
you know, go to the office every day and these
lovely gentlemen are there.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:19):
Shared this summer.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
It was wonderful.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, yeah, Becky, you can tell how much you love
it where you're playing it like it really, it really does.
I can't you have become her in so many ways?
Do you find yourself like having bits of Bridget moments
in your own life?
Speaker 4 (04:38):
No, I feel like I had a story about you
walking to the Oscars Renee that feels like a very
Bridget Jones play.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
Oh you know, I don't know or is it crafty?
You know, it's so nice because you arrive behind the press,
no offense, but it's so peaceful. Nobody knows you're coming,
so they just ignore you. You blend. You kind of
walk behind everybody and stand. You know, it's wonderful. It's
so peaceful. It's a wonderful way to enter into a
(05:08):
big night like that.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yeah, any more people.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
People might start doing that now, She would tell I need,
I need a favor from you.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
She hotel. I'm really hoping, so I hope this is
a safe space.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
But my wife's number one hall pass is Leo, and
uh it's you know, it's it's getting tough at home
obviously for me. So I was hoping she would tell
is there anything you can tell me about Leo which
is particularly unattractive?
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Does he have any disgusting habits or anything?
Speaker 3 (05:38):
Like?
Speaker 2 (05:38):
I really need this, she would tell you. Yeah, I'm
really glad you asked me this question. Waiting for it
and waiting for it. I'm sorry to tell you no, No, Leo.
Do you want to do you want to help me out?
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Leo?
Speaker 4 (05:59):
Is there anything any any annoying habits that I can
just tell my wife about so you know it'll be.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
It's the charm, the.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Charisma, intellect, and those are the and his sense of humor.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
You know, God, I'm not going home.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
If only he was handsome, and.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
I was going to pat him down for his diving,
But it sounds like that's perfect now as one take wonder.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
All right, everybody, let's go home.
