Comedy; movie and TV show review podcast for the weird and wild corners of streaming
It's Nic Cage in the biblical apocalypse, this should be a slam dunk! Right?....RIGHT?!?
Spoiler alert, I'm reviewing it so obviously it's a big ol' turd sandwich. Strap in for a movie that forgot to read the source material (i.e. the Bible) and completely left out the antagonist of the apocalypse! Instead, this movie might as well be called "Nic Cage on a Plane" because that's the extent of the excitement.

Ben Affleck stars in this thriller about psychics trying to trick other psychics with their psychic powers. Except for some reason the movie thinks psychics are lame, so they're called Hypnotics. Also, they never quite figured out how to organically tell the story, so the characters just shout the plot directly into the camera. It's great!

WARNING: This movie is remarkably gross, and as such this episode will also be a gross one. If you don't want to hear me discussing the bodily emissions of Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson, maybe sit this one out.
Otherwise, get ready to break down Two Men Being Awful to Each Other: The Movie! You have been warned
I don't really know how to introduce this movie, because anything I could type reads like the rantings of a lunatic....fitting, given that this movie will change the epic fantasy landscape forever. This movie started life 15 years ago as a music video, and through the perseverance of Chris Dane Owens became a full feature length film! It's campy as hell, and yet I can't get it out of my head. Truly, we're in the golden age of ma...
I didn't think I could be more terrified to fly than I am today...and then I saw Sky Sharks. This movie has it all: flying robot sharks, nazi zombies, and a multigenerational story of one family's quest to fight the evil within...and yet it's somehow one of the most boring, visually painful movies I've ever watched.

This week we go back to the filmography of my favorite actor of all time, Nicolas Cage. This time he's got a bit of an excuse for his usual insanity, in that his character is descending into madness because it's an HP Lovecraft story. Steel yourselves as we tackle eldritch nightmares, mutant fauna, and the world's worst dad.
This link will make sense, I promise.

A WRESTLING MOVIE WITH ACTUAL WRESTLING!!! I don't have the words to articulate how excited I am to share this with you. This delightful Canadian horror movie has it all: a hillbilly cult, sweet pro wrestling moves, and the summoning of the literal Christian Devil. If you don't love this movie I don't think you are capable of letting joy in your heart.

From the director of the Lord of the Rings comes an insane trip to the late 80s for what looks like a spoof of the Muppet Show, except with a lot more drugs and nudity...same number of puppets though. It's weird to think about, but it's entirely possible this was an inspiration for the modern kids movie "Sing"...our world is a magical place that never ceases to amaze me.
This week we stumble into a slapstick slaughterhouse with Hundreds of Beavers. If you love furries, physical comedy, or if you're just a big fan of repetition, then this is the movie for you!
This week we've got a movie that answers the question, "Can a movie have an identity crisis?" Buckle up, because we're about to find out when we break down Aquaslash.
SURPRISE!! This week was so stuffed with wacky cinema that it couldn't be contained in a single episode! This is a first in the theater where we have a special guest, Film Cam! He's the only man with the tenacity to help me tackle the Tyrannosaurus sized treat that is The Velocipastor. I'd offer a witty description, but with a title like that I'd just be putting a hat on a hat
Continuing our trend of silent protagonists, this week we're having fun with "Definitely Not A Quiet Place".
UPDATE - Initial upload was a pre-edit audio file. If you listened to that, congratulations on finding the surprise "behind the scenes" look at how the sausage gets made, which was absolutely planned and definitely not an accident :).
Prepare yourself for a movie with the gall to put the word "Wrestling" in the title, and before the opening credits end have the main character declare that he's done wrestling...This movie broke my heart, and it's going to take a while before I can trust a movie title again
If you ever thought that the ideal setting for a revenge thriller would be an escape room, or if you just want to mourn the loss of the collection of insane silliness that was Freevee, this is the episode for you. Brace yourself for a love quadrangle, a decades long comeuppance, and the DisasterPiece Theater debut of the greatest actress of a generation...
If you've ever wondered what it would look like if a hostage movie was just super chill, then this is the movie for you...oh, also it's a Christian movie, so please prepare your rage / eyerolls appropriately.
We've got an Amazon Original...based on a book...about the power of friendship in the face of demonic possession. I haven't read the book, but I'm willing to bet it's better than the movie...
Nic Cage vs Possessed Animatronics...another classic from the greatest actor of our time
Note: You guys might know that the Five Nights At Freddy’s movie actually came out despite what I say in the recording. And I’ll just say that the time dimension makes fools of us all
This is the greatest movie ever made and I will not hear otherwise
This sci-fi series starring Jason Momoa imagines a far future world where all are blind until the first children are born with the ability to See. What could possibly go wrong?
