Despite this, it is important to remember that even in our moments of deepest suffering, we can still find reasons to give thanks and worship God. Heart vs Ego: God wants our hearts and spirits, not our egos, when it comes to giving. This reminds us to check our motives when giving and ensure that it is coming from a place of love and compassion rather than seeking validation or recognition. True giving comes from the depths of our soul, the overflow of the grace he has watered down on us time and time again.
