Speaker 2 (02:32):
Radio Duke takes on Alabama tomorrow, number one Duke number
two Alabama and if they lose, you're gonna see that
meme I told you about today. Was it intentional or coincidence?
The world may never know. So yesterday Yankees win. I'm
a Yankees fan, Danny G. Your Dodger's looking nice with
(02:53):
the gold uniforms.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
The gold they also won.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
By the way, I know, lots of home runs, it,
lots of big games, lots of big name players, young
players doing well, and.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Right at the end of.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
The show yesterday Juan Soto came up with a chance
to tie, and yeah tie the game.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
You had a big the biggest smile on your face.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
It was Rich standing next to Rob Parker before the
Odd Couple begins.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah, we didn't leave the studio. We had to see
what happened. Right, So, Wan Soto's up.
Speaker 5 (03:25):
And run around first and third.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
He strikes out so terribly right, You're like, oh, it
was so weak. He didn't even just strike out swinging.
He struck out like eh, it was like embarrassing. Yeah,
and I loved it. Now I'm not a soo hater.
In fact, I'll I don't know about it. I'll be
diplomatic and I'll be mad enough to say I think
he does look good in the Mets uniform. He does,
(03:50):
he looks he looks good. He fits right in. He
chased the bag. Yeah, well, he struck out and he
went there was a part of me right, energy that
couldn't help but smile from ear to ear and and
I love seeing Rich watch it. And I just love
seeing Soto's reaction. I love seeing him pout when he
talked about it after the game. You know, his his
(04:11):
mannerisms look like, ah, you paid how much for that?
Because you pay Sodo all that money so that he
comes through in that moment, and he's a big moment guy.
It's opening day, Sodo's up. He strikes out like that.
That was pathetic.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
And Rich always has to convince himself that it's no
big deal if something bad happens to one of his teams.
So I heard him say to Rob Parker, it's a
long season, right, it's a long season.
Speaker 6 (04:35):
Big deal.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
You know, what are you gonna do? You know, get
him next time.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
But it was a sweet pitch and a really nice strikeout.
Loved it because you could see how indecisive he was.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
Fooled.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
He was totally fooled. It was one of those half swings.
He didn't mean to, but he had to.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
The way he was looking back at the plate, it
was like somebody mugged him, like someone robbed him, took
his wallet.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
So I want to make it clear, I don't hate On.
I'm not rooting for him, but I'm not rooting for
anything bad. But I did love that moment. It was
great Yankees fan. Now on the Yankee side of things,
this sort of went under the radar, but thanks to
social media, people pick up on stuff and then it
goes viral. Jazz Chisholm, New York Yankee playing second, he's
(05:21):
in the batter's box. Now, remember Jazz and Sodo played
together last year. I think that's important to the story.
Jazz Chisholm, colorful player who's kind of viral for a
few moments. Right now, they catch him do the Sodo shuffle.
Did you see that? And he's done it before. He
did it when he was in Miami and it caused
(05:43):
the major problem with Miguel Rojas. Miguel Rojas wasn't happy
about it. Turns out Miguel Rojas and some of those
Marlins were a bunch of jerks anyway, because the other
viral story that's resurfaced is the fact that they used
to bully the hell out of this guy when he
was a young kid on the Marlins. He would go
there with his flashy new cleats and it was one
(06:03):
story where they poured milk in his cleats, they chopped
them in half, they cut up his cleats. They bullied
Jash Chisholm for wanting to stand out, wanting to be different,
and he's like, yo, man. It was so messed up
that story's gone viral how the Marlins were just a
bunch of punks, bunch of haters anyway. But when he
was in Miami, Miguel Rojas also got on him for
doing the Sodo shuffle then because he was like, yo,
(06:26):
you can't be doing that. In fact, here's Jas Chisholm
talking about it.
Speaker 7 (06:31):
Soto is an all star.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
Da da da dah. You can't be doing that, bro,
What do you mean? He's having fun? Bro, we playing
a kid's game.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
So my question is when he saw him do it
again in the Pinstripes yesterday, is he allowed to do
that because I mean, Soto is his former teammate. It's
like this, Here's how I see it at first, When
you hang around someone long enough, you pick up on
their mannerisms, their expressions sort of become your expressions, and
it's understood because your boys, right, That's how friends communicate,
(07:01):
friends talk. So when Jazz Chisholm does the Soto shuffle
when he takes a pitch yesterday, was he just doing
what his boy used to do and it sort of
just happened. You know, sometimes even when you're jokingly doing something,
it just becomes a part of you. And what you do?
Or was he taking a jab at Sodo? Was it
(07:23):
a funny moment? Was he poking fun at Sodo? How
do you view this moment? Or do you simply say
imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? Is it flattering
when people imitate somebody? Or is it a weak move?
And maybe Miguel Rojas was onto something like yo, man,
(07:43):
that Soto's thing be better than that, and it's disrespectful?
Like what are your thoughts? And by the way, this
is a fun little nugget to think about before you call,
because I want to get you involved. Fox Sports Radio
Nation your thoughts? Is imitation really the best flattery or
is it just weak? Eight seven seven ninety nine?
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Out Fox? Is it?
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Case by case? Eight seven seven ninety nine, M Fox?
That's the number? At Covino and Rich Do you know
the full quote attributed to imitation is the sincerest form
of flattery anyone anyone finishes by saying, but they better
pay you.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
No, I should right?
Speaker 2 (08:20):
According to Google, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
Everybody loves to say that, right.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
It's the sincerest form of flat means amen means you're
the man means they idolize you take it as a compliment.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can
pay to greatness. So, in other words, is saying because
you're mediocre and you have no originality of your own,
(08:49):
so you're just paying homage to the greatness the original
that came before you. You have no original thought, no
original style, no original anything. So this is the greatest
form of flattery you could show h to the person
who came up with it.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Let me repeat that again.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can
pay to greatness. In other words, Soto is the greatness
in this analogy. But I look at it like this,
I do jazz chism is just doing what jazz chism does.
He's a colorful guy, he's funny, he has a personality
of his own.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
He shows some flair, and I think he's earned the
right to do that.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Because Soto was his boy and his teammate last year
and he picked up a little something from the guy
even though he had done it in the past.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
That's how I feel about it.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
But there's other times, and that's why I said case
by case, case by case, where.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
I don't look at it that way. I don't.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
I'll give you another time where I do look at
it like flattery. Kobe Bryant, dude, the moves he made
were identical. Ident it when you see a side by
side with him and Jordan and the MOVI, the way
he copied Jordan, it was identical, and it was the
(10:04):
most sincereous form of flattery because he wanted to be
like Mike. He wanted to be like Michael Jordan. You know,
he practiced all those moves and it was no shame
in that. Everybody wanted to be like Mike. He did it,
and he did it great. He was Kobe Bryant. And
you know what, I think Jordan was cool with that.
I heard Rob Parker and Kelvin the Odd Couple talking
(10:25):
about how you know, Jordan embraced Kobe Bryant. Jordan does
not embrace Lebron James. So it was flattering, and it
was flattery that Kobe Bryant did a lot of Jordan moves.
Kobe Bryant also did a lot of his own Kobe moves.
There's no question he had his own originality too. Maybe
that's why it was accepted. How do you feel about that, Danyg.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
I think that MJ should be a little friendlier to Lebron.
But you know, MJ's a special guy. We all remember
that speech that he gave where he sounded very, very bitter,
and you know that drove him in his career.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
No one had a problem when Kobe was doing those
Jordan moves. Yeah, but Kobe was a more likable guy.
Speaker 5 (11:05):
I don't know if that's it.
Speaker 7 (11:06):
I think it has to do with Kobe never crowned himself,
like he never said I am the best.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
He always he gave himself a nickname though he gave
him Yeah, he gave himself that.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
Sure, but it's not the king made it his own.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Yeah, the Mama mentality, which really was like a Jordan
sort of mentality, right sure.
Speaker 7 (11:26):
Which is separate from a lot of players' mentalities, Like.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
A lot of people do not have that work ethic.
That's like a real thing.
Speaker 7 (11:33):
I think there is a little bit of a difference,
Like I don't think he anointed himself the best, even
though he was trying to be the best.
Speaker 5 (11:40):
Just like Jordan. When Lebron appoints himself the best, he
does I mean, you crown yourself, can you literally crown yourself.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
You know, number twenty three you Twitter handle is King James.
He was honoring Jordan. Sometimes it's weird how we work
with a lot of people who crown themselves.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
Sure, and who are no yes, I know, yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Look I'm not.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
I'm not saying I'm a fan of Lebron putting the
crown on his head. I do think though, later on
we are kids might look back and say, wow, everybody
was hard on Lebron and everybody misses him playing the
game of basketball. That's the one thing right now where
we're all in this moment of you know, a lot
(12:22):
of a lot of haters on Lebron, way more haters
than fans.
Speaker 7 (12:26):
And I don't I don't fully disagree with you. I
think a big part of it is social media and
the access that we have to players and people today,
because we didn't have access to Michael Jordan like that.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
Trust me, Michael Jordan would not be as beloved if
we all had found out all of his personal dirt
on social media back.
Speaker 7 (12:47):
I don't disagree, And so that's the really big difference.
And you know, Kobe kind of like didn't also have
this mega social media life either, it wasn't the way
it is now.
Speaker 5 (12:56):
So the access that we have to see Lebron and.
Speaker 7 (12:59):
Obvious see like what's happening now, Steve, And I like
he he kind of brings it on himself, but he's
living in an age where this is what we do,
this is what this is how we live through social media.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
And he's complicated, kind of like how Tupac was. Sure, yeah,
where there's two sides of the coin. With Lebron, Yeah, yeah,
he makes us all roll our eyes often. Yeah, but
also look at the life he's lived and he's never
made any big mistakes. He's never you know what I mean,
He's been a great role Mom.
Speaker 7 (13:28):
Do you agree that there we don't give him enough
credit for certain things that he has done, and that
maybe like we are going to look back and be like, yeah,
we're probably too harsh on him. You're probably right, but
he he does bring you know what I mean, Like,
he does bring a lot of attention to himself.
Speaker 5 (13:45):
He loves it, He loves himself.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
My point is, too, Kobe Bryant did so many Michael
Jordan moves and imitated Michael Jordan's so many times, but
we accepted it and we loved it for what he did.
Ron wears his number and we don't accept it. Jordan
doesn't accept it. So again, imitation, fair move or weak
(14:09):
move based on Jazz Chisholm doing the Sodo shuffle didn't
bother you. No, I loved it. I'm glad to ask
Danny g didn't bother me at all. And I didn't
take it as a jab.
Speaker 5 (14:21):
I didn't either.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
I took it as he is just doing it because
he wanted to, just as he said in that SoundBite.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Like what who cares?
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Who cares that he's an All Star and he's won Soto,
He's the inventor of everything. I can't do it to
his baseball. I'm having fun, haven't we all? Because we
have to remember? And I brought up Kobe because Kobe
was a fan. We're all fans. Jazz Chishlm's a fan.
You think Jazz Chism's a fan of Soda. I'm sure
he is, even though they're both Big leaguers. We're all
fans of the game. When you were playing baseball, you
(14:50):
didn't stand in the batter's box like Darryl Strawberry or
whoever was your hero. We all do that as a
form football and I still do that. But you still
have to have and a little bit of originality there too,
because that's where it becomes weak. Now, I said his
case by case too, because there are very personal moments
(15:10):
in life where you're like, that is not flattery, that
is just weak in Manzi, you're a woman. If you
have a nice pair of shoes or a nice outfit
and your girlfriend buys the same thing, don't tell me
for a second you feel flattered.
Speaker 5 (15:24):
We better not wear it on the same day.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Oh but you feel flattered, I would be one of
my friends or kiss your friends.
Speaker 7 (15:32):
No, because I literally like when it's my friend's birthday
and I have to buy them something if I like it,
I buy one for me and I give them one
and I say, let's not wear it together.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
There's a lot of terms for this.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
I heard swaggerjacker, like you're a you're swagger jack in
But to me, I just think you're the lamest.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Get your own style, be your own original.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
When Rich comes in here and he's wearing like sneakers
that I already got, I want a karate kick him
in the face, honest to god, Like Rich does so
many little subtle things. I'm like, yo, dude, now we
look like two dummies doing the same thing, right, Like,
for example, I always used to wear jackets, always wore jackets,
and I even said, like, I'm a jacket guy. Am
I the inventor of jackets? Absolutely not, but I'm the
(16:11):
jacket guy. And then he comes in with a jacket
similar to mine. I want to give him an elbow
to the next So you know, so I don't always
feel flattering.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
I feel it's a weak move. Be original, hit your
own dude.
Speaker 5 (16:23):
Yeah, you know you're You're right.
Speaker 7 (16:25):
I just with like my closest friends, I feel like
I wouldn't be upset, but you're right, there's somebody that
would make me feel that way.
Speaker 5 (16:31):
You're not wrong.
Speaker 7 (16:32):
There's somebody that I would look at Sida and be like,
did you really wear that?
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Like?
Speaker 2 (16:37):
And you're right, if it's your friend, you like you
sort of look past it, but you make the mental nose,
make the mental milk.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
It would be like if everyone at the network started
wearing my Travis Matthew hat.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Ah and Danny, I feel for you, bro, because that
was your thing. Yo, It's so true. Danny g with
the Travis Matthew guy. Right, we all try to put
an original twist on who we are. He rocked Travis
matth all the time. All of a sudden, there's sponsor
of the show.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Everybody's got it, not just to have it. They have
my same hat. Yeah, he ruins it. Now.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Here's the thing, though, and I think we're getting to
the core of it, and I'm glad we're able to
figure it out and we'll take your phone calls. At
eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox, Mike who runs
his Place? Who I mean this guy, he's just so
full of wisdom. I guess Mike Who runs his Place
is like, there were two rivals at another job. There
were two rivals who didn't necessarily like each other at
(17:30):
this other place that he worked at. Right, one dude
shows up, he got a new car, and you know
it came out, Oh man, sweet new rides, like an
Infinity or something like that. Like six months later, the
other dude bought the same exact car, and it's like, yeah,
that's so weak. So it's like, if you don't like
that person and they're imitating you, that's when it becomes
(17:52):
an issue. And I think that's why Jordan doesn't like
Lebron because he really doesn't like him. So that's why
the flattery doesn't work there. I think imitation is the
sincerest form of flattery, when you like that person, when
there's a humility involved.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Also if it's competition, like yeah, industry, we do. We've
all created a benchmark or a bit and you hear
another radio station bite.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
It yeah and steal.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
Yeah, I don't like that person, or there's a rivalry there,
or I just don't vibe with that peron. There is
no humility, and all of a sudden, they're doing something
that I'm doing all the time. Yeah, you're gonna be like,
screw that. There's no there's no flattery. That's just mediocrity.
You're an unorginal style Steeler. Just spit my style.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
D White Shret buys a bunch of Cornell Cornell attire
to get under the skin of Andy on the office.
And even though Andy went to Cornell, he loves to
show it off. Yeah, he loves to brag me, so Dwight.
And then he's like, you didn't go to Cornell, and
Dwight's like, I don't care, I'm just trying to screw
with you.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
Oh that's so funny. I didn't know that.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
I'm glad you brought that up. I never really watched
that show I've seen. Sorry, what Yeah, I don't watch
that or Friends or any corny show.
Speaker 5 (19:03):
Okay, it's not corny.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
I'm allergic.
Speaker 5 (19:05):
It's not corny. The Office is not corny. I've Friends
is corny. I'll give you that. I love Friends, It's
one of my favorite shows of all time. But it's corny.
I that offices.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
I don't watch Modern Family or just.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
It's just not fun.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
What's the other one which always talks about he's not
listening to you? Patrick Harris, Oh, how I met your mother?
Speaker 8 (19:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:25):
I never not my thing, guys, not, And that's not
who I am, you know why, because that's richest thing,
you know what I do my own thing.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
O g.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
I'm an original being a unique person, unless, of course,
there's humility. And I think when Jazz Chisholm does the
Soto strut, the Soto shuffle, I think.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Can you describe I don't think i've seen it. Can
you tell our listeners what this.
Speaker 9 (19:52):
Is?
Speaker 1 (19:52):
When he's in the batter's box like he yeah, yes,
describe it for ours?
Speaker 2 (19:59):
Think old the show when he's in the batter's box
and he's taking a pitch and he does that, he
leans into it and.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
He does that.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
So he's like Tony Purkis from Heavyweights, where he's doing
the slide thing.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
You know what it is exercise.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
If Sodo likes jazz Chisholm, it's O Masha Soto and
Sodo tips his hat like I saw what you did.
And that's funny, and that's camaraderie and it's baseball and
it's fun I find no problem there. It's when you
don't like that person, it becomes a jab. Yes, all right,
your phone calls eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox
at Covino and Rich his imitation the best flattery?
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Is it a fair move or week move? Is it?
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Case by case? Your thoughts? Brian Vegas, you're on the show.
Speaker 6 (20:40):
Hey, how's going guys? Love the show?
Speaker 1 (20:41):
Thank you, buddy.
Speaker 6 (20:42):
It's the rich shout out. The rich was out, but
Monty filling in valiantly. Nice job, Thank you. I was
just gonna wag and you guys touched on most of
this whole Kobe versus Jordan and Lebron and how they
all I think it was because Kobe really like that
first game they didn't have a relationship. The first game
they played against each other, he put his hands on
(21:03):
his knees right next to Jordan and said, ask him
about his footwork. A guy like Jordan that's so meticulous
like that and so detailed, that's how he immediately are
in disrespect. I don't know if I've ever heard of
Lebron approach like that.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
That's what it is.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
That's the humility of I know you're the goat, and
I want to learn from you and be like you
and maybe one day even be better than you. But
I want to I want to learn from you. And
Jordan and Lebron came in differently.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
That's not everybody's personality. Lebron was crowned when he was
in middle school.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
It was a different time coming in and maybe that's
what rubbed and Jordan took that personally, as they say.
And that's also been a topic of discussion all week
because of Lebron speaking on McAfee about how he doesn't
have a relationship with Jordan. Perhaps that's why. So think
about it, guys, and I'll give you the quote one
more time.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
Imitation is.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
Especially if it's someone you appreciate or you I you're
okay with Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that
mediocrity could pay to greatness.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
Was it was it? Missner who was?
Speaker 5 (24:43):
Yes? It was yes.

run against the Rockies. So a lot of celebrating just
two days into it. Very nice. All right, you'll hear
the updates from Manzi. But we have a game to play,
Danny g let's go.
Speaker 8 (24:59):
Steve and Bill Belichick has some things in common.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
Bill Belichick's the man.
Speaker 8 (25:04):
They both have younger girlfriends named Jordan.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
He ain't the man if that was my daughter.
Speaker 8 (25:09):
They both have a powerful presence in the sports world.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
Look harder, So you can do that. When you're seventy two.
Speaker 8 (25:15):
You tell us is it Steve Cavino or Bill Belichick.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
I'm not mad at him at all. I want to
know what it is. Yeah, they're basically like the same guy.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
Apparently, when we were on vacation a few weeks ago,
it dawned on Rich that both of us, both Bill
and I, were on vacation with our younger girlfriends, both
named Jordan. Yeah, but he was doing like aerobics on
the beach with her, and I was also on the beach,
and we decided to play a game, or make a
(25:47):
game out of it.
Speaker 9 (25:48):
I think this game is harder than the last one
standing called Steve.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
Covino or Bill Belichick. Spotty boy right over there, how's
it going? Moncy is also going to take part. Iowa
Sam myself, Danny g And we'll get you on the
studio line right now, Mancy, I'll use you for this.
Would you love to travel to beautiful Springfield, Missouri, Idaho Falls, Idaho,
Carson City, Nevada, Nevada. Don't want to get in trouble? Yeah, Cadillac,
(26:15):
Michigan or Auburn, Maine.
Speaker 5 (26:18):
Let's let's go to Michigan.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
Cadillac.
Speaker 5 (26:21):
Let's go to Michigan.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
Murnie is on the line. What up, Burnie?
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I'm right, thank you, Manzi, Yeah, what's up?
Speaker 1 (26:30):
All right?
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Get the guys again.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
That's right, Marnie. Here's how the game works.
Speaker 4 (26:35):
I've done extensive research on coach and Covino and their
young girlfriends. Each member of the crew here is going
to read a fun fact, and then you gotta tell
us is it Steve Covino or Bill Belichick? And you
got to get too correct out of five chances okay.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Two out of five to win a swiggy. This is sweet.
These are sweethedds.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
This swiggy is a beautiful stainless steel water bottle cn
R and FSR water bottle.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
So let's go, all right, Manzi is going to read
the first fun fact.
Speaker 5 (27:01):
All right, so he.
Speaker 7 (27:03):
Is one quarter Irish Covino or Belichick.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
Yeah, you're the only contested Marney, You're the only one
plan Yeah, that's all you. All you have to say
is Covino or Belichick.
Speaker 6 (27:19):
I'm Belichick.
Speaker 5 (27:21):
No, that was a trick question, now.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Believe it or not. I need to look at me.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
I mean people think I'm Filipino, I'm Hawaiian, but really
I am a quarter Irish, Mexican and Italian.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
Today I trust trust me.
Speaker 4 (27:36):
In the month of March, we heard him bragging about
this almost a whole month.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
You know what it is?
Speaker 2 (27:41):
My my dad, who is Steve Covino senior. He never
says he's Irish because he's Coveno. He's Italian coast. So
a lot of people don't know that the hair on
Caveno's but it's actually ginger, but the hair.
Speaker 4 (27:59):
Learning It's okay, you have four more chances here, all right,
spot is gonna body's reading the second fund.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
Already pay attention because this is just for you, okay.
Speaker 6 (28:07):
Uh?
Speaker 9 (28:07):
His Jordan both Belichick Jordan and Covino Jordan both very
beautiful women. They are very young as well. His Jordan
continued competitive cheerleading after graduating from college.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
He's a Covino or Belichick. I know, I'm gonna you
would be right. Guess she needs one more for the
wis a competitive cheerleader?
Speaker 2 (28:43):
You're okay, no, but my daughter is a competitive cheerleader.
Whole other story.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
Anything else, all right isoa?
Speaker 4 (28:49):
Sam has the third fun fact? All right, here we go.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
He fell asleep in the stands next to Jordan's during
a basketball game. He fell asleep in the stands next
to Jordan during a basketball game. Covino or Belichick.
Speaker 6 (29:12):
I'm gonna take.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
It does seem like something you would do in defense.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
I might have done that in the past, but recently
it went viral that it was actually Bill Belichick that
did that. I mean, I fall asleep during most movies
she puts on. That doesn't count though, and when she
watches Traders and all this other and Vander Pumps, I
definitely fall asleep watching that set.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
All right, So Marnie, you're still alive here because there's
two more fun facts. You just need to get one
of the two, right, I have the fourth one here,
all right? His Jordan has fun online doing crumble cookie reviews.
Covino or Belichick.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
Tough Caino.
Speaker 5 (30:01):
Yeah, let me tell.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
You, congratulations Michigan Urnie. You played great. You got two
out of five. You win a swiggy And the worst
part about my girlfriend Jordan's crumble cookie reviews on social media. Yeah,
but she's always buying crumble cookies and she leaves them around.
She takes a little bunny nibble leaves them out around
the house, and then I come home and I have
(30:27):
to eat them away. I can't just let him sit there,
so they're my nightmare. But thank you, Marnie.
Speaker 4 (30:32):
Congratulations Burnie, We are good. Yeah, we're gonna mail out
of seeing our swiggy to you in Michigan.
Speaker 8 (30:37):

Bill Belichick? The same guy with the same guy everybody.

the Rays just walked it off against the Rockies.

Three two was the final score.
Speaker 7 (31:26):
We also have Sweet sixteen action happening in women's college hoops.
With about six minutes to go, one seed South Carolina
etching four seed Maryland fifty seven to fifty six.
Speaker 5 (31:38):
The winner of this game will face two seed.

Duke, who already eliminated three seed North Carolina forty seven
to thirty eight earlier today and they'll head onto the
Elite eight. Other WNBA or college women's hoops news is
that Yukon star Page Becker's confirmed today that she does
plan to enter the twenty twenty five WNBA draft. We'll
head over to the NBA where the Grizzlies of parted
(32:03):
ways with head coach Taylor Jenkins after six seasons. They
feel like he lost the locker room over the course
of the season. Making the change now will help mitigate
how they actually finish the season, so they're naming assistant
Tomasi Salo as their interim head coach. Hornet Star LaMelo
Ball Wilmo's the rest of the season as he undergoes
two minor procedures to address ankle and wrist issues. In
(32:25):
the NFL, the Ravens have reached a three year contract
extension with head coach John Harball. In college football, Colorado
coach Deon Sanders has earned a five year, fifty four
million dollar contract extension, making him one of the highest
paid coaches in the country. And In golf, Round two
of the Houston Open was suspended due to inclement weather,
but Scotti Scheffler finished his round and he's at the

It only got eight yards? He as college football.
