Must-Read Books About Networking That You'll Totally Love

Building our network is one of the most important assets we can create. That's why I'm excited to share with you some resources from my personal bookshelf that have helped me build my network and enabled my clients to increase their sales. 

 

📖 Little Black Book of Connections by Jeffrey Gitomer

 

I love this book because it just literally has no fluff in here. This is a great way to get down to the business of building connections. If you have ever been to one of my events where we talk about networking, there are specific passages I love that I have put my complete spin on. The author talks about the secret and the fundamentals of ensuring that a contact blossoms into a relationship.

 

📖 Raving Referrals by Brandon Barnum

 

This book is the perfect resource to help you accomplish your goals. This is a comprehensive guide that is absolutely fantastic. I highlighted two sections here, and one of them is so powerful that I adopted it years ago. 

On page 68, Brandon provides valuable, actionable advice that will teach you all you need to succeed. 

 

📖 151 Quick Ideas to Get New Customers by Jerry Wilson

 

This book conveys very easy, simple ways to help people get new customers. A great tool you can use to share with people in your network to build that connectivity. You can take one of those and send it as a message, email, or even a Facebook message to somebody. Just say, "Hey, I thought of this idea that might help you get more customers." I love this book and its ways of networking and bringing people together.

 

📖 Get More Referrals Now by Bill Cates

 

This book was so influential to me. When I learned and started down the pathway in the skill set of building a network, I literally created a CD and DVD product around this years ago. And in fact, I used to run around on stages all over the world, and we would sell this CD for a thousand bucks. That video unlocked referral generation for many businesses. And so it was literally based on this book. 

 

Chapter 13 is one of my favorite chapters. It talks about building the perfect referral profile. Your best referrals will come from people who get the most out of your product, good, or service.

 

📖 Little Red Book of Selling by Jeffrey Gitomer

 

If you want to achieve sales greatness, this is the bible you need to read. Any person in business will significantly benefit from the short, easy-to-read golden nuggets of knowledge you can apply every day.
