I make because I LOVE doing it, and I want to connect with others who love creating like I do! I put a focus on how to create in a way that’s good for your mental health, and personal growth.

My actual job involves my hands, but probably not how you'd expect. (Unless you've listened to Talon's episode cause we touched on it a little bit there.) For my 7–3:40, I go to a factory and make watches! More specifically, I used to make watches, and now I've moved on to being the one to figure out what went wrong when the ones that were made don't work.
Imriel (they/xe/negm) came on to talk about xer fibers arts, some of which are cross stitching, tablet weaving, shuttle tatting. We talk about creating for the joy of it, some of the negatives of selling online, and how Imriel has had a great experience selling to fellow LGBTQIA+ folks at Pride!

...Your first leather project is probably going to have a ton of flaws, and you're probably gonna love it anyway. When I wanted a leather journal for my cosplay and I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, I said eff it, I'll just make one. What a journey I went on after that!

In the last few years I've learnd some mindfulness skills, and the perfect way to practice this is when I'm crafting. I love to listen to music or podcasts when I create, but sometimes I turn all of that off and just focus on the here and now. It sounds boring initially, but it's somehow calming and centering.
