Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, this morning show in Boston.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Billie and Lisa in the morning. It's just a great
start to my day on kids Away.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Well, all right to welcome in everybody in a happy Friday.
It's the Big Friday Show, Lisa. I say that every week.
Does it really make a difference when it's the Friday Show?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
We love Fridays, so it is the Big Friday Show.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Love Fridays. Yeah. Justin woke me out of a dead
sleep this morning. I'm lying there in a deep sleep
and a deep dream and the phone rings next to
my bed. I assumed it was the alarm because they
kind of sound similar. So I get up, I turn
it off, and then I'm hearing him in the background. Dude, dude,

(00:41):
you up, Dude what I'm saying? What's going on? And
it's Justin because he forgot his key to the building. Yeah,
and I'm in when I tell you, sound asleep having
one of those morning show nightmares. Yeah, and woken out
of a dead sleep. So I had to meet him
at the front door to get him in the building.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
It was like it was there was movement. I couldn't
hair them, and then I was like, dude, dude, And
then he was like, Oh, if.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
You hadn't called him, he might have overslapt probably probably.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Yeah. And the best part is, you know, Bill was
out late, so he was tired. I forgot my key card.
I got got let in the building with Billy, get
to my studio, put my hand in my pocket and
there was my key card.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
How did you not?

Speaker 4 (01:24):
I thought it was in my car. I was half
asleep when I left. It's tough.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah, I've done that.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
And I had a gala last night, so I was
out late in Boston. By the way, I want to
thank the folks. What a really nice gallat MSPCC Massachusetts
Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Children. We raised
a lot of money, had a lot of fun, a
lot of listeners of the Billy and Lisa Morning Show
there last night, loving you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
It's great.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Not me, but you know, they really love all of
you guys.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Okay, I'm sure they love you too.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
No, they were all very nice. So thanks to them.
That was a nice night out. And you know, so
I got up a little late. I'm still a little foggy.
But it's opening day out at Fenway Park. Here we
go in the Weather's.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Your day Oh yeah, beautiful day too.

Speaker 6 (02:09):
Good afternoon, Ladies and gentlemen, now boys and girls, and
welcome to Fenway Park.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
And they still do that at Fenway Park. Ladies and gentlemen,
boys and girls, Welcome to Fenway Park.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
And they do the flyover.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Oh God, they're going to have by the way. Caution
you want to get there early. Okay. The first pitch
is at two ten. The pregame starts at one thirty.
They're going to have some of the members of the
nineteen seventy five World Series team.

Speaker 7 (02:45):
I almost thought you meant that the band in nineteen
seventy five.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Baseball.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Actually, yeah, maybe they are actually too bad.

Speaker 8 (02:56):
They didn't think of it.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Good one. You know, I should have thought of this.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
You know what you never know?

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Well, I was watching the news this morning, and our
buddies over at WBZ TV, Jason Michael, the meteorologist, is
reporting from outside Fenway Park this morning. But I was
watching the news. They actually have a woman whose title
is the Red Sox Experience Creator. Oh, that's called Fenway Park.
So she comes up with all of these ideas and

(03:28):
the head's up. She could have had the band the
nineteen seventy five out at Fenway for the guys from
the nineteen seventy five Team Good idea.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
I see Jason Michael down there, not in a suit,
in a nice deatam button up.

Speaker 9 (03:41):
I know.

Speaker 7 (03:41):
I messaged him about that. He said he's having this
cleavage out today.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Yeah, okay, he's in a detam button. Yeah, he looks cute.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Well it's his opening day up.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Yeah. Yeah, see, I'd like that because everybody else wears
the baseball jacket from the TV show from the you know,
you know, Channel five or Channel seven.

Speaker 10 (04:01):
I like this.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
So he's dressing fashionably.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
It's giving justin Timberlake, like nineteen ninety nine.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Yeah, awesome, Well, because we're used to seeing him in
a suit. Yeah, studios. Yeah, he's coming in by the
way soon. Yeah, he wants to come in and hang out.
Oh that would be awesome.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
You know, we liked him the minute we went met
him the first time we went over to WBC. What
a nice guy. It's new music Friday, so the New
Edge Sharon is ready to go. It came out at
midnight as he's on.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I listened to it this morning on my way in.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
So good.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
It's so good.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
It's so good. The video drop too. It features the
Pink balloons and also features clips from the Doublin.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Yeah when he came to Boston went to the Dublin
there Yeah and performed I love that song. And I'm
telling you, every time I hear a clip of the song,
I instantly think we should be doing a line day.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
Yeah, it's like fun, it's celebratory. It's just it's gonna
be the song or something.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, now yesterday, do we have any announcements on the
book club this morning?

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Lest Well, just that it sold out in like two minutes.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I can Arthur Gregory maguire on Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
How about that book club podcast?

Speaker 11 (05:05):
Hello, morning team.

Speaker 12 (05:07):
It's one thirty in the morning, and I know you're
getting up getting ready to come to work, and I
should be going to bed, but I can't because I'm
listening to Lisa.

Speaker 11 (05:18):
Book Club podcast. I just finished listening to Jeff Benedict
talk about the Dynasty, and I started on Mel Robbins,
but I got to go to bed. But Lisa so
proud of you.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
You go girl, Yeah, that's great. Yeah, listen to the
Jeff Benedict.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
The entire interview is up on the Lisa's book Club podcast.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
But if no one has ever checked out the podcast,
they can literally binge it.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
They can yep, you know what I love.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
You've only done sellouts. I don't think you've had a
single non sellout in Lisa's book Club. Well, and so
the next one already gone.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yeah a couple of minutes.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
I'm sure you've got your private list. I would deem it.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Actually a lot of people did DM me yesterday. I'm
glad you brought that up.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
So I will open that up, but just not right now,
because I have to we have to have a big
meeting about like you know, all the meetings.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
We have to be there.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Oh josh me, it's a store, so you're we're limited
to numbers. So I have to figure out sort of
like what's happening.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Yeah, this this place is obsessed with meetings. But the
stop sleep and drink meetings, the stop stores.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Oh I love Wicked as a kid. Please I need
to get in there.

Speaker 7 (06:31):
Oh my god, Oh my god, Oh my kid loves Wicked.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
All right, all right, we all love Wicked.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
We're not even pouring it.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
So entertainment is coming up. Yes, we've got new music,
but don't forget the white Lotus season finale is Sunday night.
This kid who plays Guy talk the boyfriend to Lisa
from Black Pink and the White Lotus. This kid can sing.
They did a cover together yesterday and we've got a clip.
Entertainment is up next stand.

Speaker 13 (06:56):
By from the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
We're back with the Villy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 14 (07:03):
I Kiss.

Speaker 15 (07:04):
Wait now the entertainment update with a Villy constat.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Sorry I jumped right in there. I'm sorry. I'm so excited.
It's new music Friday. Knock it off. Yeah, it's new
music Friday. The new Edge Heurant song Asi zomb dropped
last night at midnight. And of course, so we've got
a clip right here.

Speaker 16 (07:25):
Some time in this place.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
On what they say. We can do it away in
the Plus A game, come and play. We're gonna play
the entire song right after seven o'clock this morning. But
Ed Sharon says he wants to release ten albums in

(07:52):
his lifetime and he's.

Speaker 8 (07:52):
Got an a and I had an idea for like
ten albums and it was plus multiply divides some tracks
equals and then play. Pauls rewind fast forward stop so
I've always add well, I wanted to do ten. I'm
kind of a bit obsessed with Tarantino when I heard
he was doing ten films and he's got his like
side projects like grind House and yeah do that. So

(08:15):
I'm like, I want to do my ten and every
now and then do a side project here and then.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
You And Also new today, the Miley Sarah song end
of the World. We've got a clip le ten.

Speaker 12 (08:24):
It's not the end of the World.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
I like it. I like it. I will play that
whole song right after eight o'clock this morning. Miley's new
album comes out to May thirtieth, if you're keeping track.
Also out this week a new Chris Brown bow Wow.
Who would have thought?

Speaker 1 (08:53):
I think it's two thousand and five.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
It's called use Me. We have a clip, Can I
Get you out of touch? Their betain is much.

Speaker 17 (09:03):
It's saying, you know the much, plus you want you
to let use me.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
I I love his voice.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
He's good, so good. And it's their first song together
in ten years.

Speaker 7 (09:21):
Yeah, it's funny that like, it's very nostalgic for millennials.
Lisa Breezy Bowl twenty twenty five, Fenway You and Ilet.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Scott's Go Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Chris Brown, August twenty fifth, Fenway Park, Chris Brown, The
White Lotus Season binale, Sunday Night, ninety minutes long. And
I love this story. Lisa from Black Pink and the
guy who plays her boyfriend at Guy Talk in White
Lotus covering no diggity this This security guard kid can

(09:52):
actually sing shorty, get down.

Speaker 17 (09:54):
Good load, baby got him up and no one love
it's out, No streatly, you don't play around, cover much
ground paid by the pound.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
I can't get it out of my mind.

Speaker 17 (10:06):
No, I think about the girl all the time.

Speaker 15 (10:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Yeah, Oh he's so good.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Yeah, I couldn't have seen that, you know what I mean.
And he's so kind of nerdy, you know.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
They must have had so much fun on the set, right.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Yeah, that's a good story right there.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yeah that's good.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Okay, So we got to talk about this. Lisa brought
this to me this morning. Next week, don't forget. Next
week is the Blue Origin Rocket blashed off with the
all female crew Gail King, Katie Perry, Lawn Sanchez all
blasting off and apparently actress Olivia Munn has a lot

(10:40):
to say about it. Here we go, let's listen.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
I don't and I have a little bit of a.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Issue.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Isn't the right word.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
You're just applexed.

Speaker 18 (10:49):
I just is like, what do you guys need to
and if you if you want to go to space,
why didn't you to tell us about it? Yeah, you know,
and it's it's like, just go up there, have a
good time.

Speaker 14 (10:57):
Come on.

Speaker 18 (10:58):
Also, I just think about I know this is probably obnoxious,
but like like it's so much money to go to space, yeah,
you know, and there's a lot of people who can't
even afford egg.

Speaker 5 (11:13):
She was on with Jenna bush Hager yesterday on The
Today Show, saying all of that, they're also the whole crew,
this like all female flight. Her on the cover of
Elle magazine this month, and I read excerpts from it.
But I do have to say Lauren Sanchez did say
something really interesting. She said that in their house with
Jeff Bezos, their motto is life takes off on the

(11:33):
other side of fear.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
I really like that.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
It's kind of cool that she finally said something interesting.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
That's why I brought it up.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
But she makes a point, right, because it's basically an
amusement ride. Is it's like a Giant six flag strip.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
Yeah, they'll be able to float for like four minutes
before they come back down.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
Yeah. Okay, I don't know what day is the Blasttar,
I kind of.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
I mean Olivia Mint has made some really good points, yes,
in an interviewed yesterday on the Today Show.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Yeah, and Kesha's heading out on tours. She'll bring it
to the Exfinity Center July twenty four. She just did
our jingle ball. She did Kesha. She was amazing. We
actually not one caught some of her sound sound check.
She's very good. So that's July twenty fourth coming to Infinity.
The first Teeler teaser rather so the latest Naked Gun movie.

(12:31):
You really have to see the clip. Liam Neeson this
time around is Lieutenant Frank Dress You want little one your.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
That's who are you?

Speaker 3 (12:47):
Frank Dreben? Please squad.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
The new version.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
I love it. It's separate Farland too, who made the movie,
and it's a it's a masterful of taking his character
and naked cut.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
It's really Wait, I thought Naked Gun was like something sexual.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
No, no, it's comedy. Remember, No, I have no idea.
Oh god.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
He plays Leslie Nielsen's son, Liam Neeson.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
I don't know. I didn't know.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
You know this clip that I play?

Speaker 3 (13:18):
Yeah, woh stuff, Oh I caught it. Yeah, okay, but
Liam Neeson, you got it. He's like eighty years old
and he's still taking on gangs and terrorists and everything.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Look he looks good too, He does look good.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
But anyway, it's funny. Ice Cube this week confirming he
will write and star in the New Friday movie. And
how about this. MTV's VMA's for the first time, will
air on CBS in September. That's weird. Yeah, and don't
forget Billy and Lisa are featured on WBZ TV CBS

(13:53):
Boston every morning right before seven o'clock, including this morning,
right lea, yep, we will be on. I'm just saying
a lot going on in sports, Red Sox baseball, the
Fenway opener today, Socks and the Cardinals first pitch to
ten pregame ceremonies at one thirty. You want to get
there early, Socks. By the way, he beat the Oarls
yesterday eight four, Alex Brigman had his first home run
as a member of the Red Sox. South's going to

(14:16):
play the Suns tonight. March Madness this weekend the women's
Final four two day, Ucla will take on Florida. Texas
will take on Yukon the men's Final four tomorrow, Duke Place,
Houston and Auburn takes on Florida. And we are brought

The Planet's Fitness Kiss one Away Studios.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
We're back with a Villy and Lisa in the morning
on Kiss.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
Okay, it's time for the Artist of the Day. We're
excited about it, especially excited about it this week on
the Billy and Lisa Morning Show because the artist of
the day is ed Sharon And what a perfect time
to have Ed Sharon as the Artist of the Day.
His Azzi Zan song came out at midnight last night,
by the way, and seconds we're going to be playing
the full length of that song for the first time.

(15:34):
So Artist of the Day, Ed Sharon. And if you
hear two Ed Sharan songs back to back, you know
the rules. You know how it works. You be college
twenty five and you get the whole damn thing, right, you.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
Get a whole trip to Universal Orlando five days, four nights,
park passes for three days.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
And here's the best part for people. You get to
take yourself and three others.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
That's amazing.

Speaker 14 (15:58):
It is.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
Okay, So listen for two Edge Sharon songs and a
rollback to back be called twenty five and you're born
a Universal Orlando and.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
We are playing at Sharon in literally two minutes. Yeah,
just want to put that out. There is a brand
new song where we're premiering it for New Music Friday,
So stand by for that. Could happen, could not?

Speaker 3 (16:15):
And we're going to invent the line dance in studio
that's going to go along with the song. Okay, bell
can't wait. Happy Friday.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
It's the Mayor of the South end.

Speaker 9 (16:25):
Oh my god, I think everyone should call him sick today.
It's going to be beautiful out today and the weekend's
going to be kreuddy. Oh and happy the opening day
to the Red Sox. Now, girls, I want you to
keep an eye on the new Red Sox. He's so hot.
His name is Patrick Ciandovel and he is a hotty.

(16:47):
Have a great weekend everyone.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Okay, I'm looking right now to see if the mayor
is being Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
I know what he looks like. Doesn't seem like the
mayor's type.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Well, they have a handful of new guys. Gary Crochet,
the new big pitcher.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
He already doesn't seem like the mayor.

Speaker 14 (17:02):
Stete.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Yeah. Oh he's cute.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
I like some beer and it's cute.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
He's cute. Okay, we're hoping the Red Sox can turn
it around this year. They're on a little bit of
a hot streak now, looks like they woke up a
little bit.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
Two games in a row.

Speaker 7 (17:14):
Yeah, you never know, But isn't there like one hundred
and eighty games, And let's be honest, I don't think
anyone's beating the Dodgers.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
The Dodgers are the best team in.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Base nine to no I think right now the Dodgers.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
Yeah, like the other night, Otani had a walk off, right,
and he went up in the ninth inning, you know,
two outs and the crowd got on their feet. First pitch,
home run.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
Yeah, it was like a Blue Origin rocket electric.

Speaker 7 (17:38):
They have Otani and Mookie Bets. Yeah, like if they
are healthy and then you have good.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
People around them.

Speaker 4 (17:44):
Yeah. Also going on this weekend, of course, the finale
of The White Lotus.

Speaker 12 (17:47):
Hey, it's Pam.

Speaker 15 (17:48):
I just wanted to tell you guys that I'm really
excited for Monday when you talk about the end of
White Lotus, because I was waiting to watch the show
and then I heard.

Speaker 19 (17:57):
You guys talking about it.

Speaker 15 (17:59):
So this whole week trying to binge it and catch
up so that way I can listen along with all
of your thoughts. And it's interesting knowing your predictions before
having started the show. It's been an interesting watch.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
I can't wait.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
God, HBL should be cutting us a little bit of.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
A a question. Could you walk in and watch season
three having not seen seasons one?

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Yeah, that's why it's so good. It's a standalone piece, yes.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
But there are pieces, the Gary piece, the blend the piece. Yes,
you know that you'd want.

Speaker 7 (18:32):
To watch first, but they explain it well enough. They
that you don't have time for one and two.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
You could just do.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
That's why I like it actually.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
But I really like the scene early on when she
first sees Gary, you know, knowing I haven't watched the
first two seasons.

Speaker 10 (18:45):
Then you know, you know, Cape Kyle, Carol checking in
White Lotus. Lisa's theory about somebody getting caught in the
crossfire is a good one. And Piper, who is there
for to find piece, balance and spirituality, maybe the innocent part,
but Rick has guns, or at least a gun that
we've seen, and Chelsea, who keeps saving these premonitions something bad,

(19:07):
it's gonna happen. Maybe the person who gets caught in
the crossfire.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Hope not. We'll see. Thanks, guys, have a great day.

Speaker 14 (19:13):
Love you.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Yeah, it's so true. It could be anyone.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
It literally could be.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
That's how they wrote it.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Yeah, So we'll find out Sunday night and we'll cover
it on Monday. And I just want to mention this again.
You had it in your report earlier. Guy Talk. Yeah,
the guy who plays Guy Talk, who's like, you know
this innocent, kind of weak. Security guard got some pipes
on him.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Shut he get down.

Speaker 17 (19:35):
Good loan baby got him up and no load it's out.
No strictly bas you don't play around cover much ground.
Got paid by the pound. I can't get it rid
of my mind. No, I think about the girl all
the time.

Speaker 20 (19:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Yeah, it'd be cool if he and Lisa from Blackpink
actually hooked up, you know in real life.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
Well it's it's cool because that that interview they're sitting
next to each other and the show. You know, he's
very shy and you know it's kind of you know,
he doesn't really know what to say. I know, but
then he starts singing and Lisa from Blackpink's face, Oh
my god. All right to this New Music Friday. Here
Ed Sharon dropped off his new single asie Zum. We've
been playing clips all week long, and by the way,

(20:18):
Ed Sharon is the artist of the day. So if
we play back to back Ed Sharon songs, you want
to be called twenty five to win a trip to
Universal Orlando. Here's one brand new Ed for New Music
Friday on kiss Want to Wait?

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Lisa Kiss One to Wait?

Speaker 21 (20:31):
Maybe possibly a topic but I wanted to say that.
Last night I went out with my mom.

Speaker 13 (20:35):
And saw the Stephen Kings The Monkey Movie, and it
was the absolute worst movie I have ever watched in
my life.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Like, we looked at each other halfway through and was like, do.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
You want to go?

Speaker 1 (20:47):
It's awful?

Speaker 13 (20:48):
Like I don't even understand how that movie was even
made into the theater. So anyway, anyone else have a
worst movie?

Speaker 3 (20:56):
Well, actually that could be a measuring stick if you
actually get up and leave the theater. We halfway through
the movie.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Yeah, that's the worst.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
I have one that we actually watched at home. It's Spirited.
It stars Will Farrell and Ryan Reynolds. Oh yeah, it
was a Christmas movie. I've never turned a movie off
until then.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Filmed in Boston, filmed in Boston.

Speaker 5 (21:17):
It was the worst thing I've ever seen in my
entire life.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
Okay, And there was a lot of hype around that movie.
Remember DJ Farren down the hall and almost got in
trouble because he got footage of them filming it.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
It wasn't he up on the roof for something.

Speaker 4 (21:30):
He was like doing something for work for djaying and
they were filming and he posted it and that they
reached out to him and told him to take it down.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
You know what.

Speaker 4 (21:36):
He said, No, that was.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
The best thing about the movie was his video.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Yeah, yeah, I got to give it to baby Girl.
The new one with Nicole Kidman and who's the young guy?
I think he isn't he? Yeah, he's something.

Speaker 5 (21:49):
He's in the new Beatles movie. He's going to play
John Lennon. It was just like it was there was
no point to it.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
It was like an entire movie of sex between Nicole
Kidman and this young kid.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
What's the issue?

Speaker 2 (22:01):
Just there was it didn't work. I know, like, it's
just didn't.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
I watched watch it at home. If I watched it
at a theater, I would have got up.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
Like when I when I was a kid, my dad
used to say we'd watch movies that had sex in it.
And he'd always because me that was a filmmaker, and
he'd say, you know, son, if there's sex or nudity
in the movie and there's a point and it adds
to the plot, that's okay. But if there's no plot
to it, if it's just there, He's like, we don't
like that.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
This is the favorite part of your story for me.
The fact that your dad was a hardcore porn filmmaker.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
See porn, and you keep calling that is not true.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
Filmmaker.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
He made movies, documentaries, you know, all kinds of movies.
How many Academy awards, including including porn.

Speaker 5 (22:46):
Yes, well you have to pay the bills, right, I
mean it's a job, a job.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Keep saying filmmaker, dad, say he was a.

Speaker 7 (22:58):
Camera operator on some porno.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
Movies.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Oh no, none.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
By the way, do not have good things to say
about shooting in the adult film industry. It really had
a negative effect on him as a person.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
Nasty business.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
Yeah, you think it's gonna be this cool thing you
get to watch all these you know scenes. It wasn't.
It was nothing like it is like you see wow,
that's what he said for me for movies. I walked
out of the theater on this one. How about this
Mark Wahlberg The Happening two thousand and eight.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
I remember that M.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
Night Shyamalan was a horror movie, and obviously M Night
Shyamalan had a lot of great movies, so there was
a lot of hype around this one, and it was
just awful.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
I ended up believing now that you mentioned I remember
trying to watch it, and I never got through the
whole movie. Yeah it was great. I love you like
my own brother, Mark, but.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
It was a mess.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
I don't blame Mark, I blame night Sam.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
Think of all the hits you have, Mark, I'm sure it.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Mark's fine.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Yeah, you can't win them all.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Right, Yeah, most of his movies I've watched, like six
movie Shooter.

Speaker 4 (24:02):
Yeah. Sometimes the script's just not good.

Speaker 3 (24:05):
Yeah, it's just Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
You know what movie is really good?

Speaker 5 (24:07):
As the oil rig movie he was in, the one
where he's offshore.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
Remember it blows up? Oh yeah, Bruce Mark Wahlberg. It's
a really good movie if you haven't seen it.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
Deep Water Horizon.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Deep Water Horizon, Ye.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Isn't Bruce Willis in it too.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
I don't remember me, but I know Mark.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
No, he's good in everything. Yeah, yeah, I do have.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
I do have a list here of the worst movies
from every year as a couple that we can mention.
Two thousand and one, it was Glitter mar.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Oh, yeah, she got she got dragged for that.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
Yeah, yeah remember that one. Oh god, how about two
thousand and three from Justin to Kelly.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Oh that was bad?

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Actually, yeah, they made them do that.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Like she did not want.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
To do that.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
Yeah, two thousand and three. You all remember this, I'm
sure even Winnie, uh, Jillie, Yes.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Jennifer Lope, I've never seen it, but I heard of it.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
Didn't watch it? Did any of you watch it?

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Because it always got such like horrible reviews.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
And isn't that the one where they fell in love?

Speaker 14 (25:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (25:08):
Yes, Ben it fell apart right after the movie fell apart.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
And then they made another movie and then it fell
apart again.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
Adam Sandler, who we love, has several on this list. Oh,
twenty eleven Jack and Jill was the worst movie of
the year, and then the next year he got it
again for that's my boy.

Speaker 7 (25:27):
Well, to be fair, sometimes his comedy's acquired, Like you
have to be some of the real Adam Sallor fan
and think he's funny, because sometimes it is like more
his humor than it is funny humor.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
But they classics he has too though.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
Yeah, you guys remember twenty nineteen that we talked about
this movie a lot. Cats.

Speaker 5 (25:45):
Oh, yeah, it wasn't Taylor Swift in that.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
Yes, I believe James Cordy wasn't to rule in it. Yeah,
that was we talked about it.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Yeah, that was so bad.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
That's like walk Out of the Theater BA.

Speaker 7 (25:58):
Because they took that from the from the Theater version
of Cats like Andrew Royd Webber and then trying to
make it a movie.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Yeah, and it was hyped so much.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Oh I remember of the movie was Taylor Swift in
the Cat's Suit and like the Ears.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
And twenty twenty three. Remember the Winnie the Pooh horror remake?
Anybody watching, no, I should have no. They said that
was the worst one. Poor Winnie, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
Poor Winnie.

Speaker 9 (26:24):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah, what did when he die?

Speaker 4 (26:27):
I didn't watch it.

Speaker 2 (26:28):
I didn't watch Water.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
The Murderer.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
The House of Wax remake is not on the list
of work.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
That's a good movie. Chat Murray went off on.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
The Okay, it's never going to be a good movie.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
It was iconic. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
The sing worthwhile is when what's her name? Paris Hilton
took a spear in the face.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
That was a good hair.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
I had one good moment.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
Oh, oh, one more, one more, going way back to
the nineties because I remember this. I was a little kid.
Show Girls. Oh I liked the movie. That's with Elizabeth Burkle.
The girl be okay, I had an NC seventeen rating.
I remember it because when I was a kid, NC
seventeen was like, oh oh yeah, you.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
Know I enjoyed the movie. I may have seen it
a second time.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
Like spring Breakers, you weirdo twice?

Speaker 3 (27:18):
Oh yeah, so that's twice alone. Now, how quippy is that?
Sitting alone watching spring Breakers?

Speaker 4 (27:26):
This is a fun topic?

Speaker 2 (27:27):
It is fun.

Speaker 9 (27:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
In fact, topic time is next. How about your worst movie?
What do you have on your list? Six month seven
nine three one one one?

Speaker 6 (27:34):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Wait, is there a movie you walked out of midway through?
Or send us a talk back justin How do they
do it? Yeah, record your message, join the conversation. Do
it on the iHeartRadio app, free to download. Just look
for that little microphone. It's read you press it and
boom you're in. Six months seven nine three one one
one eight. Topic time is next.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Now it's topic time with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
So the topic this Friday morning, the worst movies you
have ever seen? Have you seen a movie that was
so bad you had to leave the theater halfway through
or even earlier. Let's go to the phones. First. Skyler
is calling in from a Newberry report. Oh my niece
is getting married in Newberry Port in September. Hey, Skyler, Skyler,

(28:16):
good worst movie you got one?

Speaker 2 (28:21):
It's called bo Is Afraid bo.

Speaker 3 (28:24):
Who's in that?

Speaker 22 (28:28):
It's Joaquin Phoenix.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
Oh really? I love how Long Ago?

Speaker 1 (28:36):
Why is three long?

Speaker 3 (28:40):
Is Skyler on something or is this a technical snaffho? Skyler?

Speaker 1 (28:45):
You okay, okay, I'm okay, I'm great.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
Okay. No, she sounds like she's just like a weird delay,
well like she's a computer. But thanks for the call, Skyler.
Let's go to a in Fitchburg. Roberto, good morning, Let's
go bad movie?

Speaker 22 (29:05):
Good morning. Well, first, that's my boy, the cinematic masterpiece.
I walked out of Alexander with Colin Farrell in two
thousand and four. It was a three hour slog. I
actually left to get McDonald's, and I felt bad that
I actually left the movie and I went back and
I still kind of like tortured myself through it. The
second one was Cloud Atlas with Tom Hanks. I think

(29:25):
that was twenty twelve, horrible, like awesome follow up to
the Matrix, The Wakowski's Let's go Wait a minute.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
You saw the Colin Farrell movie and left in the
middle to go to McDonald's, and you still went back
to see the rest of the movie.

Speaker 22 (29:41):
I had never left the movie before. I felt that
I didn't want to waste my money't like.

Speaker 5 (29:44):
Yeah, but the fact that when you walked back and
it was it was equally as bad as so funny.

Speaker 22 (29:48):
Yeah wow, so yeah, Cloud outlast. The other one was
just so. It was just the true, true, not good.
I left.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Yeah. I can't get on Colin Farrell though he's the
Penguin good old man.

Speaker 4 (30:01):
Anyway, Thanks Roberto.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
What do you call a Mexican with a Rubberto?

Speaker 14 (30:05):
What?

Speaker 3 (30:06):
Roberto?

Speaker 4 (30:09):
Didn't your son walk out of a movie?

Speaker 7 (30:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (30:11):
It was this past year Terrifier threw Yes.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
Yeah, oh everyone walked out.

Speaker 23 (30:16):
That eleven people walked out during an opening screening of
Terrifier three last night, with one audience member also being sick.
Viewers are warned they might need first aid after watching
this disgusting new horror film.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
No, they wanted the big group and they all walked out.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Was this the movie where people would go sit in
the theater with a mask on?

Speaker 4 (30:36):
Or now this is the one with the clown. We
watched the scene in my studio. Remember, even though it
was tough to watch for you even Yeah, it's just unnecessary.

Speaker 2 (30:45):
Violence, slaughter.

Speaker 14 (30:46):
Yeah, Oh my god, I just saw a Terrifia three.
I was so scared. I had to run out of
the theater, jump in my car and drive to the
next street OVA, where I puked in a thorn bush.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
There's really nothing cooler than our talk packers big Time.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
This is an interesting topic because there's some real surprises
here from our listeners, real surprises.

Speaker 21 (31:14):
Okay, Lisen, when you don't hate me forever? I know
I'm gonna lose my girl power card for this one
but most hated movie, The Notebook. I just I can't.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
I can't. I don't hear what she wants. Just please
just enough enough. Oh my god, that's that hurts me.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
Yeah, when it comes to the Notebook, I'm one of
the girls. I'm totally Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:38):
If you're a bird, I'm a bird. Okay, Like what
like that? I mean, Noah is just like a lover boy.
I just yeah, no, I don't. I don't get that
at all.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Yeah, he built the house for her.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
Oh my god, I love the Notebook. I thought it
was great, very beautiful.

Speaker 12 (31:53):
I know I'm going to catch hate for this, but
I don't get the hype over Titanic.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
I just remember in.

Speaker 19 (31:59):
The movie or just waiting for it to be.

Speaker 9 (32:01):
Over, and a song kept playing the old lady with
the necklace and then the shocker of an ending.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
I have to agree with her, didn't. I didn't really
like it either, Like.

Speaker 5 (32:15):
I just it was there were so much height and
it was like, okay, whatever, you know.

Speaker 3 (32:20):
The weird thing. The only reason I liked the movie
is I like Billy Zane, Like he's just this strange
character in real life, and in that movie he couldn't
have been more strange.

Speaker 7 (32:29):
I spent my whole life watching like thirty minutes here
and there in like T and T or TBS, And
finally last year it was on Netflix and I watched
it and.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
I'm kind of there.

Speaker 7 (32:37):
I'm like, it was fine, it wasn't I don't like,
why would she throw away the eighty million dollar necklace
old grandma?

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Like that's mean.

Speaker 3 (32:46):
Even the special effects weren't that good when you think
of it was the nineties, you know, the ship like
tilting upwards, it looked so fake, really did look.

Speaker 4 (32:55):
I just don't understand why she couldn't pull him up.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
Yeah, give him some room, the damn.

Speaker 7 (33:00):
And then she's pining over the guy that she lost
her virginity to after knowing him for two days.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
And then she's like still at ninety five, like it's
time on.

Speaker 2 (33:07):
Sorry, good morning everybody.

Speaker 20 (33:10):
So my husband and I are big Adam Sandler's fans,
and back in twenty nineteen, we saw that Adam Sandler's
had a movie on It's it's called Uncut Gems.

Speaker 13 (33:20):
Oh yeah, and just to let you know, it is
the worst movie we have ever seen.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
And I said, and I'm so optimistic. I was said,
hold on, it's Adam Saunders.

Speaker 20 (33:30):
It will be good.

Speaker 13 (33:31):
We finished the movie and we looked at each other
and I said, sorry for.

Speaker 12 (33:35):
Wasting our time.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
See, I loved it.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
I liked it too.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
I did too. It wasn't my favorite Adam Saylor movie,
but it was okay.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
Was the actress Megan Fox's girlfriend in the movie.

Speaker 4 (33:46):
No, it wasn't mean it was. I'll look it up
and I'm really talking about I loved it. I thought
it was great to see Adam in a serious role.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
Absolutely, wait, Julia Fox.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
No, I loved his appart Fox as Juliet was Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Remember she was like, I was an unc uncutchob.

Speaker 3 (34:05):
What movie was she catch? I love this topic time
just bashing movies.

Speaker 16 (34:14):
A recent horrible movie I saw was the movie Trap
with Josh Hartnett. But we did actually watch the entire movie,
the absolute worst movie. And I'm showing my age here.
We went to the theater and we saw Howard the Duck.
My sister and I and we literally walked out.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
That was such a terrible.

Speaker 5 (34:38):
I liked Trap right now, Okay, I liked it, but
I thought that the trailer was better than the movie.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
Yes, definitely, Like I watched it two weeks ago finally,
and I watched it alone, and I'm like, okay, I
just waited for it to end.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Yeah, the trailer was so much better.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
I did like it. I will say it was good en, Yeah,
to stay at home and watch it, like, not go
to the theaters.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
I thought it was.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
I agree kind it was good for man.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
I actually went to the theater and.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
Josh Hartnett brought you to the theater.

Speaker 5 (35:07):
Because of the trailer, I thought it was going to
be explosive and.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
It kind of, I don't know, it wasn't.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
Although the end was good. I think the end was good.

Speaker 3 (35:14):
The only Josh Hartnett movie I liked him in was
Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck. It was Ben's best was good.

Speaker 4 (35:20):
He was also in a vampire movie called Thirty Days
of Night, I believe, which was very good, one of
the best vampire movies. At least you went to the
theater to see track I did. Ow What's next?

Speaker 3 (35:29):
Howard did death.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
List?

Speaker 19 (35:33):
Okay, this movie discussion is my favorite thing up from
the whole week.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
I am a huge movie buff.

Speaker 19 (35:39):
You guys have to watch Jilie.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
I'm serious.

Speaker 19 (35:44):
It is hilarious, like so bad that it is absolutely
one of the funniest movies I've ever seen in my life.
You have to do it, have to do it. Recommend
one hundred percent.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
You know another weird Ben Flick movie? What was the
one he did with Sandra Bullock? It was a rom
com where he met her on a plane or something.
It was so corny it was funny.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
Didn't they date in real life at some point?

Speaker 4 (36:09):
And Forces of Nature?

Speaker 3 (36:11):
Forces of Nature?

Speaker 2 (36:13):
Yeah, Blakes Dianner, wasn't it.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
I actually went to the junket in Los Angeles for
Forces of Nature.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
More Tyranny, wasn't it too from Boston?

Speaker 4 (36:21):
Oh?

Speaker 20 (36:21):
Wow, this made me an unpopular choice. But the boyfriend
is a huge fan of John Wick, and it's bad
enough I have to watch the reruns with him when
they're on television. But when john Wick four came out, Wow.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
We we got to go to the theater.

Speaker 20 (36:38):
I literally watched five minutes of the same fighting. I
rolled over in those big comfy chairs and I slept
through the whole movie. John Wick, Not for.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
Me, Billy and Lisa.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
Justin, that was one hell of a topic time we
just had for a Friday.

Speaker 4 (36:53):
Yeah, worst movies of all times. Big surprises here, big
surprises anybody else?

Speaker 19 (36:59):
That girl with the notebook, said Lisa and Wynnie.

Speaker 3 (37:03):
I know I'm gonna lose my girl for that.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
So that she said the notebook and all you heard
was Billy go.

Speaker 21 (37:13):
Long.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
Oh we heard it.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Most hated movie was a notebook?

Speaker 3 (37:21):
Was just one of the gown That's why we live
by the way. This just in. Josh Hartnett was in Oppenheimer.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
Yeah, I knew I had seen him.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
Reason I didn't see that.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Yeah, that was such a good movie.
