Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, guys, welcome back. Don't forget Sabrina Carpenter is the
artist of the day. You're looking listening for two songs
in a row. Bi Sabrina, you'd be called twenty five.
You get the trip to Universal Orlando. We still want
to hear from the guy at Fenway Park. Last night
they caught two foul balls in the cold, and we
were talking about your most embarrassing moments. We'll take more
of those because we always have talkback leftovers coming up

(00:20):
a little bit later in the show. But we're spending
a lot of time with that. By the way, that
was Ed Sharon right there. Shape of you. You know
he wrote that for Rhiannam. Yeah, yeah, that's pretty cool story.
So we're spending a lot of time with Ed Sharon
and why not. He did an extensive interview with Caller Daddy.
He was just in town recently. He went to the
North End for dinner. He shot his music video on
the North Shore in Ipswich. Anyway. Some of the things

(00:42):
he talked about, well, he talked about the pub that
he built in his own backyard.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Check it out.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
There was a dilapidated barn on my land. So I
was like we could just turn it into a pub.
So I bought an old pub off eBay, like the
kind of the councer and the whatever, just an old
pub that had sort of taken the shelving encounter and stuff.
And then I got all the plumbing worrying. I don't
really even know the pipes put in, and it's sort

(01:12):
of like it's a room for memorabilia. I think Cherry
was like eventually there was that there was so much
in the house that actually just having it all in
one play, like even just like meeting this football player
and having a shirt sign and having it on the
will like it's better having it there than in the bedroom.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
It's his man cave.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Yeah, which makes a lot of sense now that he
built a makeshift pub in Ipswich a few weeks ago
for the music video.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
Well, he couldn't go to his favorite pub anymore when
he became famous. He could go, but he couldn't get
really drunk because he had to be on high alert.
So that's why he built it. But he also has
a chapel that he built on his property. He has
tunnels that go underground. Oh yeah, what is the chapel
for friends?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
His friends They get married in it.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
I love that they've seen Christmas carols during Christmas in
the chapel.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
It sounds like the best thing village.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
It's He basically says he never if he didn't have
to leave, he wouldn't. Everything is there on his on
his land. But he did say, you know what, the
one thing his wife, Cherry drew the line on a
bowling alley. Why she said it was, what are you
some Hollywood star now? All we're building bowling alleys because
they're like childhood sweethearts.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
Yeah, they they knew each other when they were younger,
and then they got together later on.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
I love her.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
Well, you know what happened He actually explained that too,
is when he went on tour. You know he tours
all the time, right, he has no band, it's just him.
So it would be just him and all these like
older guy roadies. Yeah, and so he would get lonely
on the road. So he had an old friend come
and be his manager, his tour manager, and the friend
lived with Cherry and that's how he, you know, got

(02:45):
back with her.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
And when you think of it, when Charon's on tour,
he does drop by a pub once in a while
you know, you get a bow. He went by this place.
But he's also a big movie buff and for his
birthday he always buys himself a really cool item from
a well known from a big get a movie.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Here he is right here talking about it. Oh, is
there a glitch there?

Speaker 6 (03:05):
Up?

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Hold on glitch coming down in three two one. I
do it every birthday.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
I'll just buy one proper year and for my birthday instead,
Like it's like the thing that I look forward to.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I think all year, what am I gonna get? There's
always a movie.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Prop auction around that time, and yeah, I choose one thing, And.

Speaker 7 (03:21):
Is there anything out there that you're like, I've got
my eye on this.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah, because the auction's coming up, I'm trying to get
the George Clooney Batman costume. Everyone doesn't like the Batman
and Robin film, but that was my first Batman film
that I saw, so I have a real like draw
to that movie. I bought the Alyssia Silverstone Batman costume
from that.

Speaker 8 (03:41):
So it would be like, ah, are you going to
these auctions?

Speaker 4 (03:46):
It's online.

Speaker 5 (03:47):
It's online.

Speaker 7 (03:48):
You're like an eBay guy.

Speaker 9 (03:49):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Yeah, But I.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Spend a lot of time in hotel rooms and getting
locked locked out of hotel rooms and shot.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
As he told earlier, So a.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Lot of guys there are a lot of people are collecting
sports memorabilia. He's more into like movie buff stuff and
he's living his best life. Don't you get that impression?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Absolutely?

Speaker 5 (04:08):
And he also is such a movie buff right that
he has an anonymous user name on a website called
Letterboxed where he writes movie reviews, but nobody in the
world knows it's him.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Really.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
He unveiled that on Call Her Daddy. Yeah, he wouldn't
give the username, but he said it's something to do
with his Instagram name. So Teddy's Teddy's something Teddy maybe
Teddy's films, And he said, good luck tracking it down.
So every movie that comes out to he ses, he
writes a full review on and posts it on this
website and nobody knows it's him.

Speaker 7 (04:39):
He's the coolest guy in the world.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Yeah, and we mentioned it earlier. It's amazing. When he performs,
it's just him and his foot pedals and his guitar,
and he sells out stadiums.

Speaker 7 (04:49):
I saw him at Julette last year or two years ago, whever.

Speaker 8 (04:51):
He was here last and when I tell you, although
like I said, it's nothing crazy. He doesn't have this
big band or whatever. It is a time and he
works at stage around. He sounds amazing. He's interactive and.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
He'll bring out surprise.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yes, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 8 (05:05):
He actually had John Mayer opening for him because Khalid,
who was on it, was actually injured from a car crash.
So we had John Mayer, which is interesting.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
I think I saw a performance of he and John Mayer.
It's a good pairing.

Speaker 7 (05:18):
They are singer songwriters.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Oh man.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Yeah, it was a really great interview. I listened to
the whole thing. The call her Daddy. Yeah, he talked
about and we played a bunch. We'll have a bunch
coming up in entertainment at Eddie for And by the way,
she does a great job, yeah, Alex, Yeah, does a
really good job. It's very comfortable. They kick back and
they just talk.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
She gets a lot out of them.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yes, everyone she interviewed. She like our Oprah.

Speaker 7 (05:39):
She had Oprah.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yeah, yeah, good stuff.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Absolutely.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Hi, we got a weird story segment coming up. In
a crazy nine to one one call. This is kind
of scary. If you need some help in an emergency, anyway,
which stories next?

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Kids?

Speaker 6 (05:52):
One wait with Billy and Lisa's weird stories.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Ripped Man the Decade into the seat fast. This is
so terrific play that's his second one. Yeah, oh he
does have to have a night. Here you go get
a good look in the blue jacket right there, and
we have a breaking weird story because the man in

(06:18):
the blue jacket is on the phone right now, good morning.

Speaker 10 (06:21):
Calling, Good morning, Billy, How are you good?

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Is this really you? Were you really the guy in
the blue jacket out of Fenway last night?

Speaker 10 (06:28):
I have the hyper extended left thumb to prove I was.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Gonna say these were a line drives coming off the
bat down the third base line right.

Speaker 10 (06:38):
Well, the first one is a little bit of a
pop up, so that was easy work. But the second
one I had to pay attention.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Now, are you some sort of a triple A or
professional baseball player? Like where did you get these hands?

Speaker 11 (06:50):
You know?

Speaker 10 (06:50):
I definitely am on my company's softball team.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Is that the log ball? The moonball? Softball?

Speaker 6 (06:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (06:58):
They there you go?

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Oh my god, So okay, so walk us through it.
The first one, pop fly?

Speaker 10 (07:07):
Yeah, first one is pop fly. We bring our gloves
to every game because I noticed that the professional baseball
players use gloves, so I figured it might help, and
just I thought it was gonna totally go over my head.
So I just threw my hand up there, felt something
and like, oh look, I came down with it. So
the first one pop flight, easy work, very cool. I've
never caught a file ball before, right.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
And most people haven't. Yeah, but you didn't bring baseball gloves.
You had regular gloves because it was so called out
of fenware, right, Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 10 (07:35):
I had to kind of shove them in there because
it was it was old chili, not as bad as
yesterday or the day before, but it's still pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
I think I need to like give you a number
of something that als Cora. I mean, yeah, they can
probably use out there.

Speaker 10 (07:46):
You could, that'd be great. I keep telling them, you know,
I'm ready, just bring me up. I can fill in
just kind of platune with the guys for a bit,
but they haven't responded to any of my emails, so
so get me in there.

Speaker 6 (07:57):
That'd be great.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
How did you hear that we were looking for you?

Speaker 10 (08:01):
My sister texted me, so, Hi, Susan, if.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
You're listening, thanks, too. Yeah, Oh, so go ahead.

Speaker 10 (08:10):
No, she texted to say she she had a couple
of friends and said that they were talking about you
on the radio. I made the MLB Reels page, which
is probably like peak athletic moments of my life, made
it to the internet, which is really great. So yeah,
I've got a lot of texts from friends that have said, like,
I've been to two hundred games and I've got like
one foul ball. How did you enter the two in
one game?

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Okay, so Collin, you made the MLB Reels, but now
you've made the big time. You're on the billion at
least in the morning show. Okay, I'm just so this
is it.

Speaker 10 (08:37):
I was like, I haven't truly peeked until I'm talking
to billions.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
Wow, it's already almost four hundred thousand views on the
MLB video.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
So are you getting a lot of calls from everybody?

Speaker 10 (08:48):
A lot of a lot of texts, a lot of
a lot of congratulations on the nice catch? So yeah,
I'm definitely hearing some folks.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
You'll probably get a call or somebody will reach out
to you from Fenway, from the Red Sox management. Maybe
they want to invite you to a free game or something.

Speaker 10 (09:02):
Hey, I'm all about it. We've got season tickets, so
we're there all the time. I'm pretty easy to reach.
They know where to find me.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
So you're the one, well the season ticket to one.

Speaker 10 (09:15):
My wife is the one with season tickets and she
is nice enough to bring me to every game.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Okay, so you're wife. What's her name?

Speaker 10 (09:24):
My name is Julie.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Shout outs to Julie. So Julie is the Socks fan.

Speaker 10 (09:30):
We're both Socks fans. She's the one who took the
initiative to actually get us, get us tickets and get
us hyped up. She's the one in the socks hat
next to me in the in the video.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
So what was her first comment when you caught the
second foul ball in one game?

Speaker 10 (09:46):
I don't think I can repeat that on aircon.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Well, Colin, we're so glad we got you on the show.
We've been trying since like six o'clock this morning.

Speaker 10 (09:57):
This is a big night for me.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Yeah, but congratulations. I don't know what you do with
this fame, but at least you're famous for this morning.

Speaker 10 (10:05):
You know what. I'm just gonna enjoy it while I can.
I'll wait for my text from Max Cora and I'll
just try to enjoy this.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Well, four hundred thousand hits on there. It is Colin,
the guy that caught two file balls last night on
the Billy and Lisa Morning Show. The very next morning,
we are coming up on the Entertainment. We're gonna hear
a little more from the Edge, Shearon, But we got
a lot going on on the show this morning, especially
in the world of entertainment. That space mission with the

(10:33):
all female crew is blasting off early next week, and
we've got a cool story behind that as well. It's
up next hand by.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Now the Entertainment updates with the Billy Copstep.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Let's get right into it. We're spending a lot of
time with the Edge here in this morning. And why not.
I mean, he was just in Boston recently. He shot
his music video in the Ipswich. He went to Strega
in the North End for lunch. He's made it very
clear he loves Boston. But he sat down for a
really extensive interview with Call Her Daddy and talked about everything,
including whether he thinks he would be a good fit

(11:05):
for a Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
There are some that have the pizzazz of Super.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
Bowl fireworks dance as blah blah blah, but me going
up there and being like, here's the A team and
here's I just.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Like no one wants to see that.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
And he also has a favorite Taylor Swift story.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
The period of time that I was on the Red
Tour would have been, you know, I lived in Nashville
and she lived in Nashville, and we used to fly
to and from the gigs together and.

Speaker 6 (11:30):
Do all sort of I don't know.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
I was literally spent almost every single day with her
for about six months, So I think that period of
time and I do you know, I see her when
I see her, I probably see her like four times
a year, and we do what I said, like instead
of catching up the whole time, we have like proper,
sit down, six hour catchups. And I think that that's
like a really nice way to do it.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
He also built a pub on his property, so you know,
his friends could come over and have a pop if
they want, or a draft or a pint, as they
say down there in What celebrity would he most want
to invite to His own personal.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Glimpse of what a night with post Malone would be
like with we hung out in New York at Global
Citizen Festival. I actually bought him a I found this
company that do the huge final dinosaurs that you get
at zoos, you know, the ones that like the size
of buildings. So I sent him a t Rex because
we were sort of joking about it, and he was
just like, yeah, yeah, send me one whenever I live here.

(12:26):
And it's done and it's going to arrive, and he's
going to get the huge t rex that is just
going to And I've only met him once, so he's
just going to be like what. But I feel like,
because I hung out with him for that amount of
time and I can sense the kind of person he is,
I think he's going to appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Insurance still on the move this week Apparently he'll be
a special guest at Coachella, which is this weekend. Justin Bieber,
by the way, is already in the area of Coachella.
He showed up at a coffee shop and kind of
got into it with paparazzi, saying they care more about
money than human beings. He's not afraid to go right
back at the paparazzi.

Speaker 9 (12:58):
And he's right evade your privacy, so in your face
and they scream at them, you just wanted a.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Cup of coffee. Just let it go, you know. So
next Monday, the all female space mission takes off into space,
Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez, Gail King all blasting off in
the Blue Horizons rocket and reports are suggesting now that
Katie might perform up there.

Speaker 9 (13:20):
Lisa, Yeah, so I think Lauren Sanchez came up with
this idea. But if she does, she'll be the first
artist to ever perform beyond Earth.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
You're thinking ET probably, I'm thinking maybe ET.

Speaker 9 (13:37):
And a little fun fact about this mission, this eleven
minute mission, they can bring up to three pounds of
personal items.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
So I'm wondering what they're all going to bring.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Didn't you say someone's bringing stuff to animals?

Speaker 9 (13:49):
Well they said, I don't know, Like that's sounds so same, right,
I don't know photos, personal items.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
Yeah, but there's a three pound limit.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
I gotta tell you, it's only eleven minutes as a mission,
but it's still got to be terrifying, like exciting. But
at the same time, you're going into space on a rocket.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
I would be scared. I would. I can't go on
Ferris wheels never mind, yep in the sky.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
Oh it's terrifying.

Speaker 7 (14:11):
Yeah, yeah, I would never do it.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
If you had the chance, would you go the No, Nope, nope,
I'm up in the air. I don't know. Sometimes I
think yes, sometimes I think no, absolutely not.

Speaker 7 (14:19):
You couldn't catch me.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
I thinks too much can go wrong?

Speaker 8 (14:23):
Well and has Yeah, and my eyes more go wrong
than go right.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Yes, totally.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
By the way, HBO is green lighting a third season
of the Last of Us and that's even before season
two begins, because I think the premiere for season two
is April thirteenth, so that's next week.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
The new season of You starts April twenty fourth, And Lisa,
you're bringing the Creator of You on the road with you.

Speaker 9 (14:46):
We're going to Hartford. Farmington Gardens is the spot I
went to visit yesterday. It's beautiful. It's May seventh. We're
going to post the link on Tuesday. So if you're
in the area, if you have friends that are down
there or like close to being down there, and you
haven't been to a book club, this is one's going
to be really, really fun. And we're doing with our
sister Station ninety five point seven in Hartford, Courtney and
Kiss in the morning, so they will also be joining.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
And you say, it's a beautiful venue down there.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
It's gorgeous.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
And Hartford's a quick trip. It's a straight shot.

Speaker 8 (15:12):
If you're on the Cell Shore or like anywhere, like
you know, past Cells on Boston, it's like an hour
hour and fifteen minutes.

Speaker 7 (15:18):
It's a great drive.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
Yeah, very cool areas. It's super easy. Yeah, so join us.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
My niece Gina went to you of Hartford. I used
to get on and visitor down there.

Speaker 7 (15:26):
I love Hartford, have great food, cool town.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
So Travis Kelcey is denying but addressing reports that he
gave more than three million dollars to fight homelessness in
Kansas City. Here's what he says.

Speaker 12 (15:36):
Some false claims were thrown out there that I was
doing something in the community that I was not. And
I'm not even going to talk about it specifically. I
don't want to bring any more attention to that whole
nonsense and article and all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Well, he's got his own charity and that's what he
wants to focus on. It's not like he wouldn't give
or hasn't given, or wouldn't give to homelessness. Yeah, it's
charity by the Way, eighty seven and running. We mentioned
earlier this week Sabrina Carpenter is partnering with Fortnite. Problem
is her fans on social aren't willing to kill anybody.

(16:11):
They're just doing Sabrina Carpenter dancing.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
That makes sense, right, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (16:15):
You see the videos that they run up with the
gun and when they see it Sabrina, they just start dancing.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
They're putting down the guns and dancing it off. Don't
forget Sabrina Carpenter is the artist of the day. You're
listening for two Sabrina songs in a road back to back,
you'd be caller twenty five at six point seven nine,
three one one eight. There was a very depleted Celtics
team on the court last night, so they lost to
the Magic, but they'll be hosting the Hornets tomorrow night.

(16:42):
Bruins are going to play the Blackhawks tonight, and Red
Sox lost to the Blue Jays last night. It was
extra innings. Final score I believe was two to one.
And the Master's Golf tournament is kicking off this morning.
I was just watching some of it. It's very cool.
I guess they have a traditional opening ceremony lies they do.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
And Jack Nicholas actually teed off.

Speaker 9 (17:05):
You know, he's one, I think the most majors, all
of the living legends. Yeah, it's really it's this is
a special tournament. I mean they all get the green jackets,
and this is the one that Tiger loves to play in.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
He's not going to be there this year.

Speaker 9 (17:16):
But but yeah, but like Scotti, Scheffler, Rorie maccharuther all
teeing off.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
All right, well they need some tips.

Speaker 6 (17:24):
And now golf tips with Riley done it.

Speaker 13 (17:28):
For maximum spin on your chip shots, take the club
slightly outside, non inside, and cut down into the left.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
How old was he when he did that?

Speaker 4 (17:39):
Probably three or four years How he's fourteen?

Speaker 2 (17:43):
So he was ten? Yeah, yep, yeap.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
And now, oh, golf tips with Riley done it.

Speaker 13 (17:50):
If you're having trouble with your driving, always always always
remember the farther you take it back, the less control
you'll have.

Speaker 9 (18:00):
I have to say he'll be on the links this
weekend at the Newport Country Club.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
I'm going to say he's playing in the Masters today.
It wouldn't surprise you.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Never know.

Speaker 7 (18:07):
Maybe sometimes we need an updated version with his voice.
We do, right, his voice is now shops.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Do you think they get us in Augusta? Probably on
the iHeart.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
App everywhere in the world on the iHeart app.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
So the living legends are probably listening to us down
there in AUGUSTA. Pretty cool. We talked about the guy
who caught two foul balls in one game out at Fenway.
It was a very cool Fenway Park last night. Colin
was his name, the guy in the blue jacket, and
we reached out. We said, hey, if you're listening, why
don't you give us a call in a few minutes ago.
What do you know? We got him on the show,
which was very, very cool, and we're brought to you

(18:42):
by Dover Rug. There's an absolute art to fitting carpeting.
Like a long staircase, how about a curved room, curve ball,
cutting and binding it perfectly like a well made suit.
It's not just the material, my friends, it's all about
the tailor. Dover as in Natick, Boston, Burlington and online

(19:03):
at doverrug dot com and there you go.

Speaker 6 (19:08):
Do know golf tips with Riley Dunovan.

Speaker 14 (19:12):
Because of summer, it's really important to stay hydrated, make
sure you're not starving on the course and crumble down,
drink every hole and eat every two or three holes.
Just something small, could be a granola bar, could be
a peanut butter cracker, anything really.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one o eight Studios. We're
back with the Villy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
On Kiss we had little Teas a little earlier. This morning,
we had a Sabrina Carpenter song. You need two in
a row, though, you need back to back Sabrina songs.
You'd beat College twenty five at six one seven, nine
three one one one oh wait and off you go
with three family friends or whatever.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
You know what it was. It was a taste, it
really was.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
It was a big tea.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Taste.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
I think it's game time.

Speaker 5 (19:57):
Justin It is game time because Coachella kicks off this
weekend every April two weekends, one of the biggest music
and arts festivals in the world. Have you guys seen
the entire lineup?

Speaker 2 (20:27):
I'll take either.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
Or how's that?

Speaker 2 (20:29):

She's going to do her new stuff.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
It's gorgeous song.

Speaker 5 (20:57):

she'll do the new stuff with the old stuff.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
I think.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (21:01):

I can steal anything in life, but I can't steal
a point.

Speaker 2 (24:57):

a follow up?

Speaker 7 (25:00):
Well he did have that other good.

at the gate.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
It's one of the biggest songs of the year. But

Speaker 5 (25:45):
Way, you see that Weezer in the news today, see
that story. No one of the guys in Weezer. His
wife was shot by the police this week.

Speaker 6 (25:54):

Speaker 5 (25:55):
It was some kind of police chase and the wife
pulled out a gun and the police shot her.

Just a crazy morning. You've got some talkback leftovers. Let's
go get them.

Speaker 5 (26:57):
Yeah, let's start with the birthday shout out to one
of our dear listeners, who we love.

Speaker 16 (27:00):

out from my favorite radio peeps. Yeah, I'm hoping to
have a good day. Hopefully the sun's gonna shine. I
just came home from Florida yesterday. Bummer, but gonna make
the best of it. So thank you everyone. Have a

(27:23):

Speaker 4 (27:34):
Yeah, happy birthday who we love.

Speaker 6 (27:35):
Good morning.

Speaker 17 (27:37):
It's the mayor of the South End and I have
an important PSA to tell people. If you're getting on
a plane this summer, you need to have your real ID.
You have till May seventh to get it. It's the
ID with the.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Little star up in the corner.

Speaker 17 (27:52):
So look at your license. Either renew it or do.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
What you have to do. Don't be a dildo.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
I get your real ID.

Speaker 9 (28:00):
Well, if you have a passport, you don't need a
real ID for the for the airport.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
A passport is enough.

Speaker 8 (28:05):
Yes, I refuse to get it before I have to
get a new license because I paid one hundred and
eighty dollars for a passport. So if I have to
use it until my new license comes, I will.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
Yeah. What I want to find out is if there
are certain things you really do need the real ID for.
I know the passport's good for the airport and for
traveling and for flying, but I hope there's nothing else
that you need the real ID for.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
They're making a big deal about it.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
Well it's impossible to get now.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
Well, they keep pushing back the deadline.

Speaker 5 (28:31):
Remember, Yeah, see my license right here, Bill, Yeah, look
at yellow Star.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Okay, I got it.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
You got it?

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Oh, I got it. Well when I moved.

Speaker 5 (28:40):
When I moved to New Hampshire, I went to you know,
you get my license and everything or the register and
they go, do you want the real ID?

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Sure?

Speaker 4 (28:46):
What kind of paperwork did you have to bring with you?

Speaker 5 (28:48):
It was very easy. Yeah, I forget what I had
to but it wasn't that bad. Yeah, back then it was,
but now it's really backed up. It takes a long time.

Speaker 8 (28:55):
My dad went to Fall River to do his because
that was the only place to get done for the paperwork.

Speaker 7 (28:59):
You need to have your social you have like a
bell or your name on it.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
My mother told him all this.

Speaker 8 (29:04):
He tries all the way to forvard, can't get his,
can't get it because he didn't.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
You need to have your Social Security card.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
I'm telling you there's a lot involved with.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
I haven't seen my Social Security card since I was sixteen.

Speaker 7 (29:17):
Yeah, there's like two options and kids.

Speaker 4 (29:19):
They asked for transcripts from their high school.

Speaker 7 (29:23):
To make sure it's really you.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
Right, I'll keep the passport, I can't.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
You don't have your solcial Security card?

Speaker 1 (29:32):
I do?

Speaker 4 (29:33):
I lost my?

Speaker 2 (29:33):
I have mine? Yeah, my mom my mom kept My
mom has mine.

Speaker 7 (29:37):
I think at her house.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
No way. Yeah, wow, God, that's so small market of you.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
Now, I hope and you get the real ID they
demand your Social Security card.

Speaker 15 (29:47):
Come on, okay, I had to call. I was at
market basket and reading yesterday the basket and there was
an elderly couple talking to the butcher, and then I
heard the butchers say, oh, yes, no, it's a whole
lamb head and all what kind of easter are they having?

Speaker 1 (30:11):
The Greek the Greek culture. I think they like to
do the whole lamb.

Speaker 7 (30:16):
Yeah, there are cultures that do that.

Speaker 11 (30:18):
Well.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
A lot of people do an entire pig on a spit. Yeah,
during the summer for barbecues. I'm sorry, I just looked
up lambheads. Yeah, yeah, that's gross.

Speaker 7 (30:28):
They don't always necessarily eat them, but they might use
them for a broth or something.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
They don't feel the need to invite me over for
a full lamb.

Speaker 5 (30:35):
Okay, yeah, well imagine imagine you have guests over, you
pull out the lamb. Heead Oh god, he's just dripping
and loosing so cross, Oh my god. Billy. All right,
coming up next, we'll wrap up the show, take a
look back some good moments. Good topic Time, which we
do every morning in seven forties. Today's was insane, most

(30:55):
embarrassing moment of your life. We have so much that
we did not get to We will in the wrap
up next time.

Speaker 4 (31:02):
Kiss went a wait, Yes, kiss one awaits the morning
wrap up on Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 5 (31:08):
All right, friends, let's take a look back at the
show and what you missed. Topic Time this morning, which
we do every morning at seven point forty, was an
amazing one. We were talking about our most embarrassing moments.
We heard from our listeners. We heard from Billy, we
heard from Lisa. But Lisa, you have a follow up
embarrassing story.

Speaker 9 (31:24):
I do, and I can't believe I forgot this had
happened last year in Mexico. I was doing some boogie
boarding out in the surf and I got caught coming
back and a wave just knocked me off my feet,
tumbled me like I was in a washing machine, and
threw me back up onto the beach.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
I was so out of it. I popped up and
I didn't have my top and I.

Speaker 18 (31:43):
Didn't realize it because I was so freaked out that
I had just almost like died. And then a guy
next to me, speaking you know, Spanish, was like trying
to tell me, like, you don't know, top on, top on.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
I was like Oopanish.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
Yes, it was the most embarrassing thing.

Speaker 9 (31:58):
At the entire beach was just staring and like pointing
and laughing. It was.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
It was horrific.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
Oh my god, what did they say?

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Shut up?

Speaker 2 (32:06):
Billy? Can you stop it? Oh man?

Speaker 5 (32:11):
But yeah, the phone lines were open, the talk fags
were flying from our listeners. Most embarrassing moments.

Speaker 6 (32:16):
In the Morning Crew Doug from Quincy.

Speaker 5 (32:19):
Most embarrassing moment was absolutely in middle school.

Speaker 18 (32:23):
We were doing the.

Speaker 16 (32:24):
Rope climb in the gym, so you climb off the.

Speaker 10 (32:27):
Rope all the way up to basically the ceiling, and
I thought it would be funny if I flipped upside down.

Speaker 16 (32:34):
So here I am hanging upside down on the rope
and everybody below me.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
He's like, dog you're.

Speaker 5 (32:38):
Not and I'm like, I know, I'm crazy and they
were like, no, we can see you not.

Speaker 6 (32:49):
Oh god, Doggie.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
I remember the rope climb in grade school.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
I couldn't do it well.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
You had to use your feet, I know, but I
was to touch the ceiling so hard.

Speaker 19 (33:00):
My most embarrassing moment was when I received a call
and the woman on the other line had said that
I had won Red Sox tickets. I thought it was
a telemarketer, so I was putting back of them and
I was like, oh my gosh, she never went anything.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 19 (33:11):
I have a boner. Come to find out, it was
the principal of the local middle school. Because my husband
had entered us in for a rapple ticket.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Was still getting good ones though.

Speaker 11 (33:23):
Oh man, most embarrassing story. I went with a friend
to a adult toy shop to help her pick out
something because she was in her first lesbian relationship. Anyway,
she bought something and they put it in a paper
bag and it was raining and we lived on a

(33:43):
hill and on the way back, the bag broke because
of the rain and everything was rolling down the hill.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
Boy, yeah, there it goes.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
God, what do you say, Belle?

Speaker 9 (34:02):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (34:05):
All right?

Speaker 5 (34:05):
