In this episode of the Arkansas Cattle Business Podcast, we’re excited to welcome our summer intern, Aubrey Phillips, to the team. Michelle shares a federal "Hats on the Hill" update, highlighting progress on the much-anticipated “Big, Beautiful Bill.”

We also recap the farm tour with the Arkansas Cattlemen's Leadership Course Class, where hands-on learning and producer networking took center stage.

This week ACA leaders and staff attended a fly-in in Washington DC. They had the opportunity to meet with elected officials and their staff to discuss issues affecting Arkansas cattle producers including a farm bill, LFP payment thresholds, black headed buzzards, the Death Tax, and New World Screwworm. They also met with agency leads from USDA on these topics as well.
