Mark Jones has endured more than most, surviving a rare stroke, battling recurring cancer, and navigating the relentless demands of running two companies. At nearly 60 years old, he’s not only overcome these challenges but transformed his body and mindset, dropping over 60 pounds and earning a place in the Supra Hall of Fame.

In this episode Ben Olliver, Dr. Taylor Waters, and Ryan Stevens dive into the principles that fueled Mark’s comeback: structure, accountability, and refusing to make excuses. They discuss the importance of time management, community support, and mental toughness in building sustainable success. Mark’s journey is a powerful reminder that true transformation is possible, even when it feels impossible.

(00:00):
Yeah, you literally helped me save my life.
Mr. Mark Jones. I call him Mr. Resilient.
You've had a roller coaster of alife.
Turns out I had a stroke of my cerebellum.
I was also informed of the time that I had cancer.
I basically went from working every single day to like sitting
on the couch watching cops and Judge Judy during the day.
You know, I'm living, I'm actually living now and I'm in
the best shape of my life and I'm almost 60 years old are.

(00:20):
You in the Hall of Fame Hall. Of fame of this year, Yeah.
I made that you. Did we saw the photos?
He was. Sick transformation.
Look. Really.
Thanks man. That was that was a goal of
mine, a big goal by it's. I'm Ryan Stevens.
Doctor Taylor Waters, I'm Ben Oliver.
Welcome to the Superhuman show, Yeah?

(00:41):
So we're here with Mr. Mark Jones.
Welcome to the Superhuman Show. I call it Mr. Resilient.
Mr. Resilient, Mr. Resilient. Thank you.
Thank you for having me. It's, it's an absolute honour.
Honestly, you're very humbled. You've had a, a roller coaster
of a life and you know, I mean, I've heard kind of dribs and
drabs from, from Ryan, from, from when we talk, but I, I

(01:03):
would love to, to hear it from the horse's mouth, so to speak,
You know. So talk to us about what you do.
You know, how, where has your journey taken you?
What kind of led you to Supra and kind of where?
Where are we at? Right now, OK, yeah, I've had a,
I've had a few speed spikes is what I referred to, right?
And I call my God, I got a speedspike here.
I got a but people don't realizethat, you know, I have tubeless

(01:26):
tires, so it's OK, you can put them down there.
Must slow down for a little bit,but I'm going to keep going.
So I, I, I have two businesses that I that I run.
One is an advertising agency called Life Brands D to C and we
work with small merging companies who want to become
bigger national brands and really help cross the bridge
from, you know, like a lot of these digital first companies,

(01:48):
you know, like Superhuman, for instance, who kind of hit the
ceiling a little bit, you know, with Meta and some of the
different digital platforms. And then we help them cross the
bridge over to television and OTT as other type of funnel
type, you know, different attributes or or or or different
additions to what they're already doing on that, you know,

(02:09):
so that's really cool. We specialize in that.
And then on the other side of a company that specializes in, in
the Amazon platform called Revmo.
So a lot of the, the clients I've managed on the agency side,
then we take them over and we manage the client experience on
the Amazon side. So we do stuff for anyone from
like Steve Madden shoes, Spanx, like a lot of customer
experience. So a lot of times when you're

(02:30):
going on Amazon, you're buying different stuff from people.
There's a lot of people that manage that because quite
frankly, most of the brands screwed up.
So you're you're to blame for mymassive amounts of debt?
Yeah, we appreciate. Yeah, we appreciate that very
much. Your win is my loss.
But yeah, it's a very interesting time obviously in,
you know, in, in the whole direct to consumer and

(02:50):
performance based marketing right now.
So it's a lot of fun right now. But yeah, so I, I, that's kind
of what I do for a living. Incredible.
And so talk to me about your, your health journey and your
fitness journey and how that's kind of coincided or kind of
integrated within, within your, your business journey.
So, you know, I've been very, very fortunate in my life.

(03:13):
I, I always say that, you know, I'm, I'm an ordinary person with
an extraordinary work ethic, youknow, and it's one of the
reasons that attracted me to this program.
But I, you know, so, but I was very successful early on.
I've, I've kind of done my own thing since I was 28 years old.
I'm 59 right now, almost 60. I'm blinking and I can't believe
it, but in in May of 2023 and May 19th, I was at the gym just

(03:41):
getting a regular workout in. I always kind of subscribed more
to the bar body, you know, philosophy where I was working
out all the time and but it was mostly from like where you look
from like the bar up, you know, and whatever on there.
So, so I always, I always kind of dabbled, I would say, you
know, in fitness, play competitive sports growing up.
But after this workout, I actually was just waiting for a

(04:02):
protein shake kind of hanging out And all of a sudden I just
felt really something was off and, and my eyes started, you
know, fluttering doing this weird thing.
And all I could think about at the time is like, I was at the
gym. I'm like, oh man, like please, I
do not want to blow chunks in the gym.
I'm like anything, I'm like, I was just fighting this.
I just, I literally would roll outside of you.

(04:23):
I want to be that guy. But anyway, I, I finally just
tapped someone next to me and just say, Hey, man, I think I
need some help. I'm not feeling right in Long
story short, I am to go in the hospital and turns out that I I
had a stroke of my cerebellum, which is really which is really
rare. And I was like, wow, that's
interesting. And then I was also informed of
the time that that I had cancer and I was like, I just went to

(04:46):
the gym about, you know, three hours ago.
And now everything kind of completely changed.
And at first they thought I had Vertigo.
They didn't know I had a stroke actually.
And I had like 2 little strokes and then I had a big one.
And that's when they saw that onthe, on the PET scan that they
did and, and saw like, hey man. Because also I, I knew there was
something wrong. I couldn't read, I couldn't, I

(05:10):
couldn't drive a car. I, I only had so much time
during the day where my brain would process things moving and
then it would just stop. And you don't realize these
things until you're doing them. And you're like on the 15
driving somewhere and you're like, yeah, I can't, this is
this is not working. I got to get off this road, you
know, so I couldn't walk backwards.

(05:31):
I couldn't say all, all kinds ofweird things.
Your brain is so interesting. And what can happen with that?
So anyway, I, I was lucky enoughto get into UCLA and I started
working with a neurologist. And my first thing is like, OK,
so like, what's the game plan? What are we doing?
And they're like, hey, buddy, you know, this is your brain.
Like, we can't just go in there and start messing around with
stuff like your heart and different things.

(05:52):
And so I had to start practicinga thing called patience a little
bit with that, which was typical.
And then at first, I thought I had cancer in my spleen, my
liver and my kidney. And after I went through a
biopsy, it turned out it was only in my kidney, you know,
which I was, I was thankful for on there.

(06:13):
And I was, like I said, I was able to get into UCLA.
So I had my first kidney surgeryin basically like September 1st,
end of August of, of 23. And I was about 279 lbs before
my first kidney surgery on therebecause I literally couldn't do
anything up until that point. You know, I, I was, I was still,

(06:33):
I was, I, I basically went from working every single day to like
sitting on the couch watching cops and Judge Judy during the
day going. I'm like, I don't even know
what, like what's going on just. For the just for the listeners,
how how tall are you? Because.
You're I'm 6 foot 4. OK, so you're a foot taller than
the last three. Yeah, so but, and I played
football growing up in competitive sports, I always

(06:53):
carried like a little bit of, you know, I always carried like
extra weight, whatever. And, but I noticed in when I had
my first surgery, how difficult it was and the recovery from
that. I mean, you're literally, for
anyone who's ever had that, whenyou first get up, you're
literally holding everything andyou're walking to, you know, to,

(07:14):
to the bathroom. And it's just a weird you're,
you're feeling things that, you know, you're not supposed to be
feeling and stuff, you know, andit just really, I just really
started thinking a lot about, you know, about my health and my
different stuff like that. Like, man, like, how did this
happen? You know, and anyway, I, I'm a
die hard Raiders fan and I had seen one of John's ads.

(07:36):
I watched John play football actually.
So I was familiar with him. And I'm like, what, what's he up
to you with, you know, with thiswhole thing?
And that's, you know, how I got introduced to Supra.
And so my thing was like, OK, well, after I get through this
recovery here, I'm going to, I think I'm going to join that
program. So I called that was very funny
because it was very early on, you know, and, and I came right

(08:00):
into the elite program and I think it was in for about maybe
a month or whatever. And I remember telling Ryan
like, Hey, I got to go just havethis check up early thing.
I got to do my old checkup. They do this little thing and
then I don't have to go back there for like a year.
I just do checkup once a year. So I went in for my checkup and
one of my best friends who's actually my radiologist, you

(08:20):
know, called me and, and he goes, yeah, it looks like, it
looks like that cancer came back.
And I was like, what? And the first time, it wasn't
really a, and I don't know if it's because I was, I, I had
this, the stroke and everything was just so, so crazy at the
time. It wasn't as big of an impact.
But after going through the recovery the first time and then

(08:41):
getting into this program where I was like, man, you know what?
I'm like, you know, people aren't even going to believe
what's going to happen right nowbecause I'm about ready to go
off. And that was a tough one.
That was really tough. I remember having a phone call
with you that day when you asked.
That's why I called him, Mr. Resilient, Like when I talked to
him, you know, the Rocky quote is not about how hard you it,
how I can get it and keep movingforward.

(09:02):
I was thinking I was like like 1after the other.
But like he keeps showing up like day after day.
I remember you saying I just need to go for a walk was like
up some mountain or something toclear head, like have a little
cry wherever, gather your thoughts.
And he's like, right, I'm going to overcome it and keep moving
forward. Yeah, because at first, you
know, Ron's like, hey, well, youknow what, do what you need to
do whatever, you can always comeback and whatever.

(09:23):
And I'm like, fuck, I'm like, I'm not coming back to I'm not
coming back. We're going to, I'm going to
modify this because I know there's going to be someone
that's going to come into this program that's going to run into
the same kind of speed spike that I do.
And I'm going to be able to say like, hey, man, here's how you
here's how you roll through that.
Because there's no guarantee you're going to come back, you
know what I mean? But there's a guarantee that if
I'm here, you know, I got a lot better chance of, of modifying
that. And so we work together on that,

(09:45):
you and I, you know, and this thing is like, doctor cool with
that. I'm like, I have cancer, OK.
So like, like, what's, you know, what's what's going to happen
here? So all the way up my my surgery
was March 18th, which was the day after Saint Patrick's Day.
So I want to make sure the surgeon wasn't, you know, I
originally like everything good at home.
We all get you guys going out tonight.

(10:07):
Yeah, exactly. So, you know.
Yeah. But leading up to that, you
know, I actually, this is this is kind of funny.
This is this is how insane that I was so committed to wanting to
do this is I really needed coming into my surgery.
I really wanted to work this hard and I needed to be away
from everything and checked out and like whatever.

(10:28):
I really just want to focus on coming to my surgery, just being
locked in on that. So I went on a cruise on this
icons of the sea boat is brand new and I remember seeing it
going do this thing has a world class gym in it and it's going
to spend like I could actually be the first person in the
history of the world to like lose weight on a cruise and go
in there and it was awesome. You're in a sea air.

(10:50):
I did not get the Wi-Fi package. So that's completely shut off
from work. And all I did was focus on, you
know, I actually had to take screenshots of my workouts
remember, because I didn't have the Wi-Fi so I couldn't do the
app. So I was totally prepared, had
all my stuff in there and, and Ikilled it on there, you know,
and, and getting my steps in. You're walking around the boat,
you know, that's the ocean area. You know, I thought it was

(11:11):
great, but I came into my surgery and I can't remember
what my weight was then, but I was, I was down probably, you
know, good 1520 lbs almost coming around. 255.
Yeah, something like that. Yeah.
And I'll tell you what, man, it made a world of difference.
One of the hardest parts about that surgery, believe it or not,

(11:33):
is learning how to get in and out of bed because you literally
have, you don't realize how strong your skin is until you
have holes all in it. And then you turn and you're
like, that's probably so learning, you know, learning how
to get it out of bed, learning how to do those types of things.
And it's a much easier, you know, when I was lighter.
So it was like, I felt so good about staying, you know,
committed to the program, committed to what I was doing.

(11:56):
And then, you know, my, my, my doctor was saying, can't
remember my surgeon. He's, he reminds me of the guy
on, on that movie American Pie, like the dad, what's his name?
Eugene Levy. Hey, my surgeon.
And I love him because he's a die hard Raider fan too.
But he, he's telling me this, you know, well, I just want to

(12:17):
do something like, well, hey, I got this idea.
I'm like, what if I just take like 2 LB weights and I just
kind of go through the motions where I'm just kind of getting
ready for it. Whatever.
He just looks at me and he just goes, can you just not, can you
just stop? Can you just, we're just like,
I'm just asking for. And it's like, OK, but it's like
I was that program gave me something to look forward to

(12:38):
during that surgery, you know, And in a weird way, like
mentally, it really, really helped me deal with it.
And it really, really helped me get through the other side of it
because it was like I knew that was waiting for me and I already
knew how I felt going into my surgery.
Like I, I was getting a feeling of like what this, what this was
going to be like when I got to the other side and that was
super important mentally for me to get ready to do it And then.

(13:00):
You know, where is that that mindset and ability to just be
that resilient come from? Has it, have you had people that
have influenced that or have youalways kind of just been born
with that, that mentality? I would say it's a little bit of
both, you know, as an entrepreneur and a business
owner, especially like, you know, I had three kids when I

(13:22):
was 23 years old, you know, so people go, wow, you have a
really strong work ethic. I'm like, well, yeah, I had
three kids anyway. I'm scared of that.
It's like failure is not an option for me on there.
So I've always been very resilient.
I've always had a lot of self-confidence about the fact
that, you know, if you have a plan and, you know, you, you,
you have something in front of you.

(13:43):
And it's like, yeah, I can, if Ican see it, it's going to
happen. That I know that's 100%.
Like if I, if I can see it, it'sgoing to happen.
It's been that way my entire life.
And leading up to the surgery here, like I could see like,
man, you could like you, you could actually really do this.
And that was, you know, and alsojust from the program, you know,

(14:03):
obviously having, you know, like, like Ryan being my, my
trainer in, in there, especiallyduring those times because it's
tough and there's and, and unfortunately in, in my
business, you know, it's really sad, but I can't let people know
I'm sick, you know what I mean? Because, you know, I have a big
company and, you know, people clap for you a lot of times
because they have to, not because they want to.
And it was a situation where I had to really kind of keep a low

(14:26):
profile and not let people know that I was even sick.
And I had two bouts of cancer for it.
So, you know, there's very little people that very small
circle at that time of who I could talk to.
And Ryan was one of those people.
So he really kind of kept me on the rails, so to say, with
different stuff. And also just take a breath, you
know what I mean? Like, because I was like, I, I
was afraid that if I wasn't running super fast, that it was

(14:48):
going to catch me. And I'm like, yeah, I, I got to
get as far away from this as I can right now, you know, but
he's like, you're going to get there.
So I just whatever so that I would say and.
One thing that was powerful for even just speaking yes, these
like one thing I can guarantee is that I'm never going to quit.
Like, you know anything, I'll keep going and I'll find a way.

(15:10):
Like I almost had to hold him back, like just relax a little
bit. It's that mindset, isn't it?
Like, you know how many people would start a fitness program,
roll an ankle and then go, oh, I'm out.
Like, oh, it hasn't gone perfect.
I'm out. And I've done it.
Yeah, I've done it. You know, I've done it where I'm
like, yeah, because you know, it's, it's not convenient and
it's funny because you know, people are like, oh, you know

(15:32):
what, like I like I, I see what you're doing because you know
what, I have to get up at 5:15 and get 5000 steps and before I
go to work every day because already am I getting 15,000
steps. And we all know what's going to
happen if I don't. So I got to, I, I got to do
that. And then I have two business.
I have this thing and people go,I just don't know how you find
the time to do that. It's like you don't find the
time to do those that you make the time to do the things that

(15:55):
are important for you to do. And if you can wake up at 7:00
for your job, you can wake up at66 AM for yourself, period.
And that's just the point. It's like most people won't do
it. You know, it's, it's sad because
everyone can, there's no magic here.
You know, I said before, I'm like, you don't need Ozempic.
You need a plan. It's what you need.
And. Structure.
You know what I mean exactly. And, and really this plan is

(16:15):
laid out in a way that is, you know, if, if, if you've made the
decision, you know, which I think it all starts with, you
know, make a decision, right? Are you interact like make a
decision like I'm in. OK, well, if you're in, here's
the plan. As soon as you start working it,
you go, wow, this is different, you know what I mean?
It's it's especially for people who are busy.
I don't want to hear anyone say like, oh, I don't have time to
do something like that. I wish I could all the time.

(16:36):
Bullshit. You know what I mean?
You're talking about cats, especially in the, in the elite
program that I'm in, you know, we all work at least like
probably 60 hours a week, you know, and, and, and, and you
know, gladly, you know what I mean?
But the other time it's this too.
It's like, you know, what are you really added in here?
4 workouts a week? You're finding some time to do
some steps and you're logging your food.

(16:57):
I mean your different stuff. It's, it's really not that
difficult. You know, we all make excuses of
why we can't do things just likewe make excuses to do things and
rationalize buying things. Like do I really need to buy a
Ferrari? Not really, but I could
rationalize how I could, right. So it's just, it's just
different. We've had many morning forward
phone calls and he's literally walking the Vegas Strip at 5:00
AM and get his steps in. Just make it happen, isn't?

(17:19):
It that's the best place in, in America that I, you know, maybe
besides, you know, New York, butI would say Vegas is so great
because plus there's music the whole way.
Big sidewalk. I'm on the phone to somebody.
I'm going buildings behind him. Oh yeah.
Well, sometimes I, you know, it was, sometimes I have an early
call at 6:00 AM, so I got to give it 4, you know, whatever
for that one. And I'm going and I'm like, it's

(17:40):
crazy. You know, people are people.
A lot of people are out this time.
I'm like, yeah, they're coming home.
They're coming home from a club.That's what they're doing.
And like, they're not out walking like, hey, good morning.
Like what are you doing? So what's the?
What's the total weight loss that you've achieved with since
working with? Super well I'm I'm 205.2 lbs
today. You're actually less than what

(18:01):
you was when we submitted your photos for the Hall of Fame.
Now he's actually made more progress. 60 Well 60. £5.60.
Five. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And you look like I've seen yourphotos.
You look like you've added muscle in that time as well.
You know what, it's amazing. I've lost weight in the past and
when I have, I've had the very like kind of slacky skin or you
can, you can kind of. Tell the fat kind of just I
don't have the same but I'm. You know I'm tight and right

(18:23):
right now. You know what I mean?
I feel great. Jack, your photo.
I did. I did have A, and I just saw the
video I made of the other day. OK, Unfortunately, when I, I had
to redo my phone and all my techstuff on there and the
MyFitnessPal for everybody out there, just make sure you know
this. It defaults to the let me reward

(18:43):
you for all the work you're doing and give you extra
calories. So we're going and I'm, and I'm
literally, I am working harder than I ever have.
And man, I'm getting like maybe a pound, a half a pound a week.
I'm going, I'm like, maybe it's just like when you get down to
this level now you're saying, I thought Mike, so I'm going to
fight harder. So it's going, God, you're doing
so good. Here's an extra 3400.
So he goes to me. He goes you're you're over.

(19:04):
He's like, yeah, everything's going grazed up, but you keep
going over on your calories. It's like what I'm like over.
I'm like, I'm under every day. No, no, no, you're not I.
Send him a message. And I was like, oh, like you
struggling like you, you like, is there anything I can help
with you? Looks like his weight started to
stable and he was like, no, I'm on.
And I was like, you're not on. I can see you're over.
But I was like, is your exercisecalories turned on?

(19:25):
And he's like, Yep, I was like, yeah, turn that off.
And. All of a sudden I never asked
for any defaults to it. Every story time I because I
have to take my phone off Bluetooth allotment during my
business day because it looks with it.
And for whatever reason when I redownloaded that thing, every
time I go off Bluetooth and I goback on, it was defaulting back
to this thing. But I don't know it.
I'm just looking at my calories and I'm going oh man, I'm like I

(19:46):
got 230 calories stuff. I'm like, good, because I'm
hungry right now and I'm going, it's like, yeah, you did so much
work today and I'm going, how can I be over?
And so I mean, I'm, I'm like killing it trying to like, you
know, get to this deadline here, man, and get the best boat as I
can. And then he when he tells me
that I literally, I like wantingto throw myself down the stairs.
I'm like, I'm like too. You're working really hard.

(20:07):
But then you're also. Eating your way back I'm.
Like exactly I'm I'm the better the harder I'm working it's the
worse it's getting for me. This is going on for like
literally like 6 weeks I'm like and then all of a sudden when he
tells me I'm like I literally I'm like I'm not I'm not going
to make it now because of the stupid.
Do you know the crazy thing? Like we I said, turn that off.
Within a week he was down from like 2:12 to like 2:06.

(20:30):
Crazy. Yeah, that that that explains
that because the wheel. Just working hard, eating more,
working hard. Yeah, and that app's going.
God, this guy just won't quit. Here's another 300 calories.
Somebody all right there but. You made it over the finish
line. Yeah, you know what?
And like you said. Yeah, he's in the Hall of Fame
of this year. Amazing.

(20:50):
I made that. I made that.
You did. Are you serious?
You did? Dude.
That's crazy. That's the news broken Just.
Now, I didn't even know that, soCongrats.
Yeah, we saw the. Photo he was.
Sick transformation. Look.
Really. Thanks man.
That was, that was a goal of mine and a big goal of mine.
So sorry to get emotional about it, but it's, I've been doing a
lot. Plus I, I lost my dad like a few

(21:11):
months ago in April and that wasanother speed spike that was
really, really tough for me, waytougher than the surgery part.
We just kind of go through stufflike that, but.
Well, the zoo. He knew he knew I was going for
that. He's just like, yeah, my dad was
like, my dad battled a bad Merkel cell cancer for a couple
years and we're lucky to have him around as long as we did.

(21:32):
But he was tripping, you know, on what I was doing.
And even at first, like my first, he's like, wow.
He's like, don't, don't lose, you know, are you good?
I'm like, I'm like, I'm not evenclose to being where I'm at,
which I'm just getting done right now.
And I told Ryan, I'm like, when I got to this point, I felt like
I didn't really feel like I likeI crossed a finish line.

(21:55):
I kind of felt like, OK, now, now you've earned the right to
actually really compete. Now you've proven that you can,
you know, follow a program, likea difficult program, you know,
and now, and now you can really see.
Now you can really see because Imean, I'm just getting started

(22:17):
right now, you know what I mean?So I can't wait to see where all
this goes. But I'm super excited because I
did have another biopsy and I did that run and I had another
biopsy about a couple months agowhere they found some, some
lumps on my neck and I was like,oh, fuck.
Because that's what my dad had. And it's the first time I heard
the words benign. It's a negative.

(22:38):
And every time it's been positive.
So is it a, is it, is it a coincidence?
I don't know. Do you think I'm stopping to do
what I'm doing right now? Fuck no.
Like, you know, I'm living, I'm actually living right now and
I'm in the best shape of my lifeand I'm almost 60 years old.
You know, I've never, I mean, everyone told you that you have
ABS under here and everything like that.
You really do. I didn't even know that they

(23:00):
were there. But they aren't.
And I'm seeing them at 60 years old almost.
And that's, that's pretty incredible, man.
It is pretty incredible. It's one of the, the biggest
privileges we have, even as coaches that aren't directly
working with you, just to see the progress and results that
you've that you've had through the program.
It's it's incredible. And you know, and even just from

(23:23):
talking to you now, not only is your are your results
incredible, but just, you're just an incredible human being.
I think just the. Why?
I appreciate it, man. You guys are all, you have no
idea. Like I told Ryan, I'm like, I
know you, you guys are in. You're like, yeah, you see it,
whatever. But you really, really don't
understand, like, the impact that you guys are making for a
lot of people, you know, like us.

(23:44):
And I say us because there's a lot of really successful
business people out there. And John really tapped into a
nerve here because it's really difficult to, you know, take an
idea and a vision and turn it into a thriving business.
Very difficult. Very difficult.
And so when you figure out how to do different things like

(24:05):
that, but you can't figure out how to get your shit together,
like physically, you make all kinds of excuses why you can't.
But it's exactly like he's saying, like you go on these
great vacations, you know, I have AI, have a beautiful
girlfriend. I have this like, whatever.
And it's like, but I'm just not feeling good about myself, you
know what I mean? You make excuses for it.
I'm super busy. I don't have time for that or
whatever. But it's all a bunch of
bullshit, quite frankly, you know what I mean?

(24:27):
Because I'm living proof that itcan be done.
And not only that, but with speed spikes along the way, you
know what I mean? It was it was not easy.
And there was a lot of opportunity there to say, I'll
be back, you know, or, or like, I'm going to kind of just do it
this way or whatever I call it Jonesify.
Like every program I've ever been on.
I go, I see what Ryan's trying to do, let me jonesify that and
the modify and I go, I don't know why it doesn't work because

(24:50):
I so this time it's like, you know what, pour yourself a big
glass of shut the fuck up and just do what's in front of you.
It's, it's a very simple program.
If you just work it, you know what I mean?
If you just work it the way it'slaid out and just, you know what
I mean? Just just buckle down and do it.
I mean, you absolutely trip on on what could happen in one year
because like I said, I mean, there's literally like a year

(25:12):
for me. I had a couple little things in
there I had to go take care of during that time, no.
One no one has the perfect year and I think you know you're the
you're the perfect testament to what people's expectations
really should be in the IT it's never going to be a smooth
sailing thing. You know there's.
Neither is life, right? You know what I mean?
There's not a perfect time for anything.
There's not a perfect time for this.

(25:32):
Just like me. I'm like, there's not going to
be a perfect time to come back or do whatever.
It's like you're in it. So this is what it is and do it.
But I'll tell you the great thing, man, about the Hall of
Fame. I'm so glad I made it is because
the very first outing that I came to and after I joined the
elite was here at the West when they had that first kind of pool
party with Ryan. That's the first time I that I
met John in person. And I just said, hey, just so

(25:54):
you know, man, I'm crossing thatstage with the jersey on.
So my last name is Jones. Like remember that.
So if you remember that John. So yeah, thank God I made it.
Not even really shitty. Like I'd have to have my own
like Raiders jersey with my nameon it.
I'm like, all right, but, but no, it is a it's a real honor
because the caliber of people that are in this program, you

(26:16):
know, it's, it's worth the priceof admission right there.
You know, I come to a lot of these things, not so much for
the speakers or the different things here.
I come here for the, you know, for the community and, and the
fellowship that I have with all the other people that are in
this program just trying to be great because fitness is
obviously a big part of it, right?
But it's really mind, body and spirit with this program is and

(26:38):
when you can I, I talk to peopleall the time that advertising
business, you know, about it being like kind of like a
combination lock where you have to have all three numbers to
open it. You can't have to or one way to
have all three. When you have mind, body and
spirit like this and you're really trying to achieve
greatness in all those areas. I mean, it's probably one of the
harnessing one of the most powerful, you know, things that

(26:59):
you can like that I've ever seen, because for me, it's not
just that I'm thriving fitness wise right now.
I'm thriving in every aspect of my entire life right now.
My business is better. The people around me are better.
You guys, you guys know I have Rick who's one of my business
partners who who joined the elite group also.
So and it's not by being out there talking about what I'm
doing. It's just me out there just

(27:20):
doing it. People are saying, dude, what
the fuck is that guy doing? You know what I mean?
So, but yeah, so I'm like, again, I'm, I'm, I'm just super
humbled and, and, and really, really appreciative of the
opportunity to work with all youguys, you know, on this man.
And brother, honestly, like, yeah, a special place, man.
Friends for life, man. Yeah, you literally helped me

(27:40):
save my life. So my pleasure.
I appreciate that, man. It's so I don't want to get all
emotional, but yeah, it is. It's it's a trip, man, because
when you're doing it, you you'renot I'm never stopping to look
at like, oh, what's what's my photo look like this like, I
don't know shit, you know, I'm just, I'm just doing every week.
I'm just thankful to get to bed, man.
I'm especially at first, you know, I mean I've like it better

(28:04):
at sports my whole life, but thefirst few weeks I was in the
Super program is I'm like, damn,I'm sore.
I haven't been sore after a workout and like, I can't even
remember, you know? So, yeah, it's been great.
So, yeah, thank you very. Much this is, you know, essay
checks, I think for you is goingto be the the perfect time to
stop and smell the roses, you know, and just look at look at

(28:25):
what you've accomplished. And I can't wait for us to be
there and, and celebrate with you and, and see that jersey.
Yeah, no, it's funny. I actually because of my stroke,
I actually made a bunch of videos because I want to know
like how I felt during these times and like whatever, in case
I wouldn't be able to remember really about it.
And they're really crazy. These videos, like when I was

(28:47):
thinking about that, I'm especially the night that I got
diagnosed again and all that stuff.
Some might like take and put some of those together into like
a whole like little little timeline just to kind of see
what that's all like. But it's it is it is pretty
incredible looking back. And then I look at myself and
go, God damn, look at that fat fuck.
I'm like, Jesus Christ, I'm like, dude, how were you?
How was anyone even paying attention to you then?

(29:08):
I don't know, but and I said no,it's been good, but thank all of
you very, very much for like I said, for all of it, man.
And it's it's it's I'm just ready to get to work now,
brother, you know, so I can't wait to see what's next here.
So amazing. Well, Mark.
Thank you so much for jumping onthe show.
Yeah. Thank you guys for having me and
like I said, man very humbled tobe here and he said I hope that

(29:30):
anybody out there who maybe watching this that goes you know
what, maybe there's something tothat.
There's something to it. You know this, if you're looking
for a home, this is the home. If you're successful
entrepreneur that really doesn'tmind, like putting in the time
and effort to achieve greatness, you're going to find a home
here. That's what I would say about
this program. Nothing else like it, nothing
even close to it. Amazing.

(29:52):
Thank you so much. Mark, thank you guys.
We'll. See you at SHX.
Right on. Yeah.
Wait. Nashville.
Nashville. Vegas.
