This week, Andy Richter takes a seat in The Wayback! (Check out “The Andy Richter Call-In Show” on SiriusXM, and his podcast “The Three Questions”). In this episode, Andy takes us back to what it was like growing up in Yorkville, Illinois in the 70s and 80s. Andy gets nostalgic about some of his first jobs, like cutting grass, painting outhouses, and the time he was working a paper route and broke his leg falling out of his parents’ wayback. We also take a visit to Andy’s childhood home, built by his great grandfather. Andy then reminisces about his family’s deep involvement in Illinois politics, and many of the “perks” they enjoyed by being so well connected. Also, don’t miss Andy getting nostalgic about snow days, and family vacations where they would travel cross country by train!
