Navigate Your HOA

Navigate Your HOA

Navigate your HOA will serve as a comprehensive guide for homeowners, board members, and anyone interested in understanding the nuances of HOA governing documents. Each episode will tackle a different aspect of HOA life, from interpreting bylaws and covenants to handling disputes and understanding the legal frameworks that influence an HOA's decisions. Geoff Warnock is the host of the show and has been a Board Member of State Boards of Directors, an HOA Board President, and a member of multiple committees that deal with HOA Operations, Maintenance and Financing. Geoff's purpose in hosting this podcast is to remove the legalese of HOA governing documents using the English language in explaining what many consider to be complex ideals. Geoff will relate real life stories of HOAs who have failed in many ways, be it their fiscal responsibilities, legal compliance with State and Local laws, or simply not remembering that the Board of Directors serves at the pleasure of the residents. Geoff will also demonstrate how HOAs have dealt professionally and effectively with residents that simply cannot or will not comply with their governing documents.
