This week, the boys are ranting about the sheer amount of entitlement that is in the modern world.
You see, Tim published a review of the new Mini John Cooper Works and, as you can expect from him, it was balanced, well produced and looked at both the good and the bad.
However, it seems this video has upset the internet with many people taking to the comments. One of which thought it was appropriate to post "You are too...
In this week's episode of A Pint of Petrol, the boys are in Tim's garage fixing another one of his Calibras. This time, it's "Charlie-Four" which is leaking fuel. Will it be a simple fix or a total nightmare?
Meanwhile, the boys debug the wealth of mis-information about the National Motor Museum and Beaulieu - and how every Tom, Dick and Harry has been jumping on the story and spreading mis-information to for clickbait.&n...
In this week’s episode of A Pint of Petrol, Tim is joined by 15-year-old racing driver Oscar Stockley-King at the Beaulieu Supercar Weekend.
With the public gone home, the pair have the venue almost entirely to themselves - giving Tim and Oscar the chance to talk openly and honestly about what it’s really like to race at such a young age, and the pressure that comes with competing in your mid-teens.
But first, Oscar has...
In this week's epsiode of A Pint of Petrol, the boys have got lots of news to cover, including the demise of one of the most popular cars in the world, the Volkswagen Golf Diesel.
Not only that, but VW-Audi have announced they are culling half of the models from the portfolio - despite launching the new Audi A9 Flagship.
Meanwhile, Land Rover has bought out the new GT and there is a new £1m Range Rover. Oh, an...
This week, the boys are out at the Vauxhall Bedford Open Association National Rally and for the first time ever, a Pint of Petrol was recorded LIVE! Recorded earlier today with a pint in hand AND a special guest!
Joining Tim and Ian this week is Shaun Broadbent, Chairman of the VBOA, and he'll be sharing the story of the Association and the journey its been on over the last 10 years.
The boys also talk about old and new ...
This week, the boys are fixing Tim's beloved Calibra Turbo. It's failed it's MOT on three things... two lower arms and a main beam tell tale bulb. So, can they fix it before the England World Cup Semi Final...?
To give them the best possible chance, they are starting a full 24hrs before kick off. Two arms and bulb, surely it can't be that hard... can it?
Get ready for many thumps, lumps and the odd swear word. Mainly from Ian...
This week, the boys are off to the Banbury Classic Car meet in Ian's V8 Range Rover - cue many V8 sounds and very little speed.
As well as drinking beer and muttering about classics, Tim has news from Ferrari and Dacia and Ian has a rant about eScooters.
Oh, and Ian has roped Tim into a new show, the Big Land Rover Fest.
Recorded in the sun in July 2026.
In the midst of the June 2026 heatwave, Tim's has donned in motorbike gear and headed to Ian's garden for this week's episode of A Pint of Petrol.
Last week, Ian went to Doncaster to collect his new-to-him Vauxhall Insignia and, just seven days in, it's not going well... it's already broken and costing him money, which is his least favourite this in the world.
Meanwhile, Tim is trying to desperately keep this week's epis...
In this episode, the boys have said Goodbye to one car and hello to another.
After Tim got totally messed around by a pair of time wasters last week, the nicest, kindest, most genuine young man has bought the timewarp Twingo. After six months, Tim wave bye-bye to the 14,000 mile survivor.
Ian on the other hand has acquired yet another car... after he bought a competition ticket for just £20, he ended up winning a 90,000...
This week, time wasters have been testing Tim's patience. He is trying (and failing) to sell the timewarp Twingo and - despite it being in superb condition with a good advert and a keen price - people are wasting his time, much to Tim's annoyance.
The boys also discuss the latest news from the week, include the new BMW M3, Ian buy's Tim a present AND Ian has WON a car... because he need another one!
Enjoy!
Recorded June 2026.
Tim's BMW is broken... much to Ian's delight.
And what should have been a simple fix turned into an unbelievable saga, and as expected, Ian isn't about to let him of lightly.
In this episode, the boys dive into the latest news, discuss the week's happenings from across the automotive world, and enjoy a good old-fashioned catch-up. Expect plenty of banter, many laughs at Tim's expens...
This week, Tim takes Ian out in the new Vauxhall Mokka GSE, Vauxhall's latest 281hp hot hatch. But is it a proper fast Vauxhall or just a Mokka with big wheels?
Spoiler alert - it's the former - but you won't believe the impact it has on Ian. That's right, the old dinosaur actually has A LOT OF FUN in the new Mokka GSE... so much so, he behaves like a 17 year old.
Enjoy this trip down memory lane as Vauxhall have genuin...
This week, the boys are back at the pub talking about the greatness that is the Hot Hatch. It's a simple recipe of practicality and performance in a every day package. And the latest kid on the block, the new Corsa GSE has got the boys talking...
Both are fans of Vauxhalls, both are fans of a pocket rocket and both like the look of the new Corsa GSE. But, there is one problem. The price. It is... expensive.
Is it enough to pu...
This week, the boys are in Tim's garage fixing one of his old Calibra. In this hour long special, Tim and Ian work on "Charlie Four", a red Calibra Tim has has owned for more than 16 years. It developed a random fault where the voltage would drop off anything over 3,000 RPM.
There is just one problem (or at least that what the boys thought...) - they took the alternator off two weeks ago and now they can't remember how it all goes ...
In this episode, Tim is behind the wheel talking about a brand he is passionate about - Vauxhall.
He is joined by three clubs, the VXR Owners Club, Vectra B Enthusiasts and East Side Vauxhall Owners. In this special episode, Tim and his guests share their passion for the griffin, what got them into Vauxhalls and talk about one of the best Vauxhall shows going... VauxALL!
This week, Ian is joined by his wife, Rachel, and as Ian recently turned 40, the pair take a long drive down memory lane, looking back at the cars they've owned and the journeys they have shared.
Sit back as Rachel shares the BRUTAL TRUTH of Ian's car collecting and what it is really like to live with him.
Get that girl a medal.
This week, the boys travel to Banbury Classic Car & Bike Meet in Ian's beloved Range Rover Classic. Ian's grandfather bought it new, way back when, and it's been a good few years since Ian has driven it.
After a short drive, the boys wonder the joys of a weekday classic car meet, sun in sky, cider in hand.
And rejoice! Gone is the pain of AI, here to stay is the sweet sound of the old Rover V8!
Normal service has well and...
This week, Tim has really upset Ian as he has used AI to create an episode of your favourite automotive podcast, A Pint of Petrol.
Heads up... the AI bit is borderline listenable, Ian has been turned into an American woman and it's so artificial it hurts BUT if you listen to the content, it's created a very good, structured exchange between two imaginary people.
It's worth hanging on in there... as at about 10 min in, Ia...
This week, the boys aren't "pubcasting", they're down the coffee shop catching up after an eventful NEC Restoration Show. Ian spent most of it in the pub, but Tim made a few videos that went viral... sort of.
Ian has also rescued a Land Rover Discovery 2 from a field, and promptly set to ruining what was left of the paint at the local jet wash.
And BIG NEWS! The company that wouldn't hire you if your car was over 10 yea...
This week, news has emerged of a company refusing to even shortlist a candidate because her car was more than 10 years old... and ask you can imagine, the boys have quite a lot to say about this. It even made Tim get his bleep button out! Oh-er!
The boys also discuss Ian's latest four wheel (drive) acquisition... a mouldy old Disco 2. AND Tim's epic Vauxhall celebration, VauxALL, is coming back to the museum.
All this and more in o...

He would soon discover he was not the only one. At its core, this is a story about who you believe and why.
