Deborah Rudibaugh and her daughter Stephanie conspired to kill Deborah's only son and Steph's brother, Jake Millison, all over a ranch they couldn't maintain in Gunnison, Colorado. Although we'll never know the family dynamics between them, it was clear in Deborah's behavior that she never regarded her son with much love or appreciation.
PS- We left out that David Jackson, Stephanie's husband, also received 10 years for tampering with evidence. The couple had one boy together, here's to hoping he didn't inherit the (imo) cursed ranch.
