For students in grades 9-12 who plan to enter a full-time undergraduate program

upon high school graduation.

6. Burger King Scholars Program

For high school seniors who have part-time jobs and excel academically in

school. Recipients Are Selected Through An Application Process That Takes Into

Consideration Their Grade Point Average (GPA), Work Experience, Extracurricular

Activities, Financial Need And Community Service. The Application Period Is From

Mid-October To Mid-December. In 2023 Alone, The Foundation Awarded Over $3.2

Million In Scholarships To Nearly 4,000 Students. 

7. Coca-Cola Scholars Program

Four-year achievement-based scholarships given to 250 high

school seniors each year.

8. Davidson Fellows Scholarship

Recognizes and awards the extraordinary who excel in math,

science, and technology.

9. Dell Scholars Program

For students who demonstrate a desire and ability to overcome

barriers and achieve their goals. Description: A scholarship for

high school seniors who have overcome adversity and are part

of specific college readiness programs. The student must have

at least a 2.4 GPA. Every year, the Dell Scholars program selects 500

students nationwide

10. Ed Bradley/ Ken Kashiwahara Scholarships

Open to full-time students who are pursuing careers in radio and

television news. Ed Bradley, 60 Minutes correspondent at CBS News, was

once a teacher and made a switch to journalism. Bradley spoke of introducing

deserving minority students to the communications career field and endowed

this $10,000 annual award under the banner of RTNDF. Radio Television News

Program

For minority and female students majoring in a field related to

computer and video game arts

12. Gates Millenium Scholarship

Funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; established to

help low income minority students

For women who excel in computing and technology, and are

active role models and leaders.

For African American women who have a minimum C average,

and can demonstrate financial need
