Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back, doctor shening tests and WPAP Panama City is
number one country station. As I assumed, there was a
debate last night, a presidential debate last night, an effort
to appeal to all Americans. Each candidate agreed that Netflix
should bring back their password sharing. I'm thinking bring it
back because we needed we missed it.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Don't quit hike in the prices.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Everyone talked about inflation and taxes and tariffs and like,
stop it with the streaming service hikes.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
I know, I know, we got to put a cap
on it somewhere. I did enjoy the debate back and forth.
Did you watch it later? Maybe ten to fifteen minutes
into it? How many How long did you make it
into the debate? I understand, okay.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Past my bedtime.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Well you got you've got two little ones running around.
I got it too. I didn't even call you. I
didn't even call you because I knew you had baby
night last night. And yeah, they're either going to swim
or taekwondo or jitsu or I don't know, learning how
to make a I.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Don't know basket weaving.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Absolutely they do it all. Her kids do it all
last night, even this morning. President Trump on Fox News,
saying that he felt like it was it was three
against one, the two moderators and of course Vice President
Kamala Harris. It's three against one of the hole thing.
But we'll break it down. I'm curious to know even
on the doctor Shange facebook page, what you thought about
the debate. A lot of comments coming in. Man, we're
pushing three hundred comments already on that on that Facebook post.

(01:21):
Coming up on WPAP your iHeart Country Minute, we will
get to the Nashville News and Tessa's five Random Facts,
a whole lot more. We're working on the weekend kids,
We're working on ninety two five w PAP, Panama, ninety
two five WPAP. Let's go to music City here, Nashville News.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
You're seeing in Tessa's Iheard Country Minute on ninety two WPAP.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Well, if you wanted to buy Bradley Gilbert's log, sorry
not Cavin.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
It's a mansion. He has a log mansion, or had
in Maysville, Georgia.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Got a marchion.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
It's a log mansion.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
He listed the property back in April, asking for about
three and a half million dollars for about sixty five
hundred square foot property. Then that he built in twenty ten,
So we don't know what the final sale price was,
but he won't be leaving Georgia. You know, you can't
take Brantley out of Georgia. He's moving to a nearby
three hundred acre plot of land. Also tours, of course,
And if anyone tells you that Brooks and done, or

(02:17):
if they try to tell you they're done touring, don't
ever believe them, because.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
They're not done.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
No, they're done.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
They just announced they're heading back out on the road
again next year. Now, remember they announced the last Rodeo
tour back in two thousand and nine and said that
they would be splitting up after that, but it didn't stick.
You know, we've got the Reboot tour. But this is
the first leg of their brand new Neon Moon Tour,
so it goes on sale this week. The first dozen

(02:44):
shows set for March and April, so that's only eight
states right now.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
But like I says, that's just the first Does I
think they're gonna be sure?

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Yeah, there's gonna be more.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Absolutely, and David Bowie and country music, you know they're
not that's synonymous with each other until now. Really, but
his song it's Chris Young's song Young Love and Saturday
Nights that just went to number one. But you might
recognize it because David Bowie has a guitar riff on
the song Rebel Rebel. Chris Young borrowed it with permission,

(03:13):
but he had to give David Bowie credits. So that
means David Bowie now has a number one song in
the country charts and he achieved it eight years after
he passed away.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Unbelievable. Unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Because Corner Chapel purchased Bowie's music catalog in twenty twenty two,
they're now legally allowed to use Bowie's song in a
lot of different formats, so they still have to give
him credit.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
David Bowie's at the top of the country charts with
Chris Young.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
How cool is that?

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Meat?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
That is crazy? Doctor Shannon Tess coming back here on
Tebledpap watching the weather and we do have Hurricane Francceine
and the golf. More on that still to come on
double DPAP. We're glad you're here. Let's get it, get it,
get it, Doctor Shannon tests and the Morning and online
of nine two five doubdpap dot Com. Remember to follow

(03:58):
us now on Facebook on the Doctor Shane Facebook page.
And then there's the Test Connell, Yes.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Tew sc and l on a course ninety two to
five WPAP on Facebook.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
We'd all love to have you.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Absolutely absolutely whether you watched the debate last night. A
lot of people watched that. I was on ABC and
we'll recamp a little bit of that coming up a
little bit later on the show. Some people say it
was it was weighted like three to one. A lot
of people thought that Kamala Harris did a great job
last night, and you could tell she had been studying

(04:30):
for the debate. You see, it paid off for her.
We'll look at some of these morning polls in just
a few minutes. Now, Tess is five Random Facts. My
favorite part of the show. TA take it away, girl,
hen itay.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
It's time for Tess's five Random Facts on ninety two
five WPAP brought to you.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
By Jerry Pybus Electric. If you give them a call,
especially with hurricanes in the golf it's still hurricane season,
they can get you hooked up with that cooler generator
so you can still have power and security and safety
when the lights go off. It's Jerry Pybus Electric five.
So on nine to eleven, we all know that every
single flight was grounded in the United States. No planes
were allowed to fly, But there was one non military

(05:08):
plane that was permitted to fly that day, and it
was a plane flying from San Diego to Miami and
they were delivering anti venom to a man had been
bitten by a highly poisonous snake.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
And it was escorted by two fighter jets.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Unbelievable that happened. Unbelievable. I didn't realize that that far.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
One cowhide can produce up to twenty footballs. Not that interesting,
So that means that about three thousand cowhides are used
every year for NFL footballs.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Always thought it was the pig skin. Now you got cowhide,
I know, but hey, that's what you get with five brand,
you don't.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Speaking of football, the worst shutout loss in NFL regular
season history was all the way back in nineteen thirty four.
How bad this is when the Cincinnati Reds lost to
the Philadelphia Eagles. Can you believe those teams were around
in nineteen thirty The shutout was sixty four to zero
and the Reds were actually kicked out of the league
after that to play another game. This is cool Ecuador.

(06:10):
Did you know that it's split by the equator, and
you know we have winter and summer are flip flopped
on the southern northern hemispheres, so winter and summer actually
happen at the same time in Ecuador. So the north
part of the country is having winter, the south is
having summer, and vice versa. But if you ask the locals,
they say they only have two seasons, wet and dry.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
You know that's right. I mean the wet season is
the wet season, you know that's right.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
And there are only two countries that have the word
the at the beginning of their official name, the Bahamas
and the Gambia. Now if we think of other countries
like the Netherlands or the Philippines.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Which they of the United States of America, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
It's not part of our official name, not officially. The
Bahamas and the Gambia, though, are officially the the.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
That got the the the T to the H to
the E up and there all right, ninety two five WPAP,
Panama City. We're just getting warmed up. Kids, don't go anywhere.
You're still more to come. Hang on, y'all. Welcome back,
Doctor Shannon Tess in the morning on double DPAP. You
said a lot going on on the news. I guess
that this week has been a busy week as it is.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Between the presidential debates, between the hurricane and the Gulf
and so much more.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
We've just been trying to keep up.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
That's just said, we're looking for anywhere from one, maybe
even four inches of rain with Francine, and uh, we'll
just see if it makes a curve for our stays
on this track. I think most of the models are
are pretty much in agreement that it's going to move
right into Louisiana.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Yes, definitely, but it's looking like right there in Louisiana,
they've already got the storm surge modelings for those who
are going to be expecting that and experiencing that and
making sure that they're in a safe place. But a
category one or two hurricane upon landfall a little bit
later afternoon today.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
We'll see what happens. And Brazil, a nine year old
boy making headlines today when he stole a city bush. Y'all,
I'll back up in case you didn't catch that, an
old boy stole a city bus that he then crashed
into another city bus where was he trying to get
to wherever he could go. I mean, he's nine years old.
The bus company says that they will not press charges

(08:12):
since the kid did keep to the bus schedule. See
see there. Doctor Shannon tests in the morning on WPAP.
We have the three for you this morning. It's three
things You've got to take with you.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Doctor Shane and Test present three things you need to
know ONAP.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
One of the big headlines that may have been overlooked
yesterday with the presidential debate was those two Delta planes
colliding on that Atlanta runway.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
And man I did a breaking news post on the
Doctor Shane page and it was crazy. We even got
a guy that was on the plane and took a
photo on the tarmac.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
That's just nuts.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
The whole back tail fan was gone.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Would just like clip the thing in. Luckily no one
was really hurt. Bad goodness, but yeah, it happened. The
wingtip of one plane hit the tail of a Delta
Endeavor jet apparently tore it off. Some passengers tossed from
their seats, but the passengers were put on other flights
and sent on their way.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Don't worry about crashing in the air, Just worrying worry
about just taxing from one runway to runway. I mean
we're now running into each other. It's insane.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Test and Sugarland, Texas. That's where a single ticket sold
matched all six numbers. And last night's Mega Million's.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Jackpots eight hundred million dollars.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
You know, I brought it.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Brian lives in Sugarland, Texas, and I haven't heard from him.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Oh so a win.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
It's over four hundred million dollars in cash, making it
the seventh largest jackpot in the game's history.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Oh yeah, that's good stuff.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
And we're getting a new series of The Office.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Did you ever watch yat show? So we've got some
more details about it. The series cast has been revealed,
so we're pretty excited about. No word on when the
new series will debut, but then the fact that new
details are coming out and we're hearing more about it has.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
A lot of people excited.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Great show.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Good stuff. Doctor Shaded Pass in the morning on doublepap,
More music, more fun, watch yourself in Traffic, The weekend
is coming. We got you back on doublepap. Panama City
and did you get a chance to see Who's down
the Hole? Just a few minutes ago.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Oh besides our big boss man, mister.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
D Daryl Well coming around the corner. You know the guy, oh,
oh him.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
I tried to avoid him in the hallway because he
talks so loud.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
He does talk loud, but he has his stack of
papers like this. The script's already. It's big voice guy,
not headline news. Hit it, my friend, you're on roll it,
roll it. This is not headline news. Big Lots filed
for bankruptcy.

Speaker 5 (10:37):
But on the upside, at least you'll know where your
new local Halloween superstore would be located. Ozempic can help
people stop smoking. In fact, the only bad habit ozempic
users have is denying they're using ozempic. Apple's new EarPods
double as hearing aids that story again for the hearing impaired.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Apple's new ear pod.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
Tom Brady is getting mixed reviews for his NFL broadcast debut.
It's the first time that football has left him deflated.
And scientists say monkeys give each other names, but everything
else they say is some variation of Hey, let's throw
our poop. Hey, this is not headline news.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
Morning me.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
You welcome back to the Doctor Shannon Test Show. And
it has been a hard week for those in Gulf
County Port Saint Joe High School. We continue to keep
you your families, the administrators, the students, and the Gainer
family and our fourth thoughts and prayers all this week
with the loss of Chance gainers such a sad story.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Test, it has been a tough week, like you said,
in the loss of such a bright shining star in
a community taken away too soon. So we do have
the officials celebration of life arrangements for Chance Gainer this Friday.
They're going to have a public visitation that's going to
be from six to eight pm and again that's Eastern
time in Port Saint Joe. And then the celebration of
life is going to be at one o'clock Eastern on Saturday,

(12:13):
September the fourteenth, and both of those events are going
to take place at the R. Mary and Craig Colisium
also known as the Dome, right there at one hundred
Shark Drive in Port Saint Joe, Florida.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Very good, continuing to pray for Gulf County and we
will do still Doctor Shenning tests coming back here on
WEDPAP and watching francitting here do you think we'll get
what you say, four inches of a rain up to four.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Between one to four and then you know those bands
can always spin off those little those little tornadoes, so
we'll keep a close eye on it into Thursday morning.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
I cannot stress enough the importance of having a battery
powered radio. Wellll the lights go out, your phone dies,
you have a battery powered radio where you can listen
to us. We're going to stay out on the air.
We have a huge generator just like you have at
your house where we can keep the lights on and
keep broadcasting.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
But yeah, if you don't have that at your home
and you need a way to get news and weather alerts,
you need have that either battery or a hand operator
to hand generated energy radio that could also charge your phone.
A lot of those do have the things to help
keep your phone charge. And then of course you can
get the emergency notifications on your phone as well.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Sure you can keeping you up to date and the
no Here on DOUBLEDPAP, more music, more fun in the morning.
Here on dou WPAP, test Connell with that good news
story of the day to make us grandson. We can't
get enough good news around here. What do you have Well.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
It happened at James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia,
where they surprised their custodian, who was beloved by all,
with his dream car, a Chief Wrangler, for his birthday.
He's originally from Ghana and he had become, like I said,
a beloved figure at the school due to his kindness
and positivity. So the students started a crowdfund campaign. They

(13:46):
raised over twenty thousand dollars to buy the car for him,
and Francis was just overwhelmed with emotion when they presented
him with the gift.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
And he's so thoughtful.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
So, speaking on behalf of her classmates, student Bennett Hibschman
said that they wanted to give back to someone who
had shown them so much love, and he did it
by not only keeping their school clean, but being there
for the students and bringing a smile to their faces.
And you know that he's someone that's always watching their back.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
To what kind of vehicle did they buy?

Speaker 2 (14:12):
A Deep Wrangler? And it's I think it's bright red.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
And the smile on his face when you see that
the news videos and the pictures, it's just amazing positivity.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
That's the good news story of the day, the good
news story of dou w p A p Let's shake it,
don't break it Yould ninety two five double pap, Get out?
