BLAKE MCCALL has a great story to tell. McCall is the owner of the award winning Blake Charles Salon (formerly Joseph Cozza Salon) with locations in San Francisco and Granite Bay. Here is the best part. Going into the industry back in 2018, McCall knew nothing about hair salons. But what the Sacramento native was good at was professional development and what he has done in four years with a pandemic thrown in the middle of things has been truly remarkable and impressive. So how did he do it? We find out that answer and more today.

Our Connection | Blake and I go back over 20 years. I coached his brother in tee-ball at Eastern Little League. Blake was also one of my first assistant coaches at my Buzzardball Summer Camp back in the 90's. And lastly, I have taught his three daughters (Scarlett, Lily, and Taylor) at St. Michael's where I was a teacher for 26 years.
