the back end story to give moredebt into my life so that I can
see where I may miss trust Godat our my faith may fail at or
even me not hoping enough to getthe job done. So I'm very

you guys grab your Bible, orjust pop this in and just listen
we will be in again Daniel sixagain, you can read out of any
version you choose to the titleis Daniel and the lions. If you
are ready, I am ready to andless go. It plays Darius to

(03:39):
appoint 120 set traps to rulethroughout the kingdom with
three administrators over themone of whom was Daniel the
satraps were made accountable tothem so that the king might not
suffer loss. Now Daniel sodistinguished himself among the
administrators and the satrapsby his exceptional qualities

(04:00):
that the king plan to set himover the whole kingdom. At this,
the administrators and the SATchaps tried to find grounds for
charges against Daniel and hisconduct of Government Affairs,
but they were unable to do sothey could find no corruption in
him because he was trustworthyand neither corrupt nor

(04:20):
negligent. Finally, these mensaid we will never find any
basis for charges against thisman Daniel unless it has
something to do with the law ofhis God. So these administrators
in satraps went as a group tothe king and said, making Darius
live forever, the Royaladministrators perfect satraps

(04:42):
advisors, and governors have allagreed that kings should have
issue and Edik and enforce thedecree that anyone who prays to
any god or human being duringthe next 30 days except to you,
Your Majesty, shall be throwninto the lion's den. Now Your
Majesty issued the decree andput it in writing so that it

(05:03):
cannot be altered and inaccordance with the law of the
Metis and Persians, which cannotbe repealed. So King Darius put
the decree in writing. Now, whenDaniel learned that the decree
has been published, he went hometo his upstairs room where the
windows open towards Jerusalemthree times a day he got down on
his knees and prayed, giventhanks to his God, just as he

(05:26):
had done before. Then these menwent as a group and found Daniel
praying and asking God for help.
So they went to the king andspoke to him about his royal
decree. Did you not publish adecree that during the next 30
days, anyone who prays to anygod or human being except to
you, Your Majesty will be throwninto the lion's den? The king
answer, the decree stands inaccordance with the law of the

(05:48):
Metis and Persians, which cannotbe repealed. Then they said to
the king, Daniel, who was one ofyour exiles from Judah, pays no
attention to you, Your Majesty,or to your decree, you put in
writing he still prays threetimes a day. When the king heard
this, he was greatly distressed.
He was determined to rescueDaniel and make every effort

(06:12):
until sundown to save him. Thenthe man went as a group to King
Darius and said to him, rememberYour Majesty that according to
the law of the medicine,Persians, no decree or Edik,
that the king issues can bechanged. So the king gave the
order in a broad Daniel andthrew him into the lions den,
the king said to Daniel, mayyour God, whom you serve

(06:35):
continually rescue you, a stonewas brought and replaced over
the mouth of the den and theking sealed it with his own
segment ring and with the ringsof his nobles so that Daniel
situation might not be changed.
Then the king returned to hispalace and spent the night
without eating and without anyentertainment being brought to
him and he could not sleep. Atthe first light of dawn, the

(06:56):
King got up and hurry to thelions den when he came near the
den he calls a Daniel and ananguished voice Daniel, servant
of the living God has your godwhom you serve continually been
able to rescue you from thelions. Daniel answered, May the
king live forever. My God sentHis angels and he shut the
mouths of the lions. They havenot hurt me because I was found

(07:19):
innocent in his sight, nor haveI ever done any wrong before
you, Your Majesty. The king wasoverjoyed and gave orders to
lift Daniel out of the den. Andwhen Daniel was lifted from the
den, no wound was found on himbecause he had trusted in his
God. At the kings come in. Themen who have falsely accused

(07:40):
Daniel were brought in andthrown into the lions den along
with their wife and children.
And before they reach the floorof the den, the lions
overpowered them and crushed allof their bones. Then King Darius
wrote to all the nations andpeople of every language in all
the earth, May you prospergreatly. I issued a decree that

(08:03):
at every part of my kingdom, people must fear and reverence
the God of Daniel, for He is theLiving God and He endures
forever. His kingdom will not bedestroyed, his dominion will
never end, he rescues and hesays he performs signs and
wonders in the heavens and onearth. He has rescued Daniel

(08:24):
from the power of the lion. SoDaniel prospered during the
reign of Darius and the reign ofCyrus the Persian. And that's
the end of our chapter. Oh mygod. Let's break it down, shall
we? Okay, sothis was good. Okay. Let's get
into it. chapter six, verse 20,Daniel's servant of the living
God has your god whom you servecontinually been able to rescue

(08:49):
you from the lions. And ofcourse, God was able to say
Daniel, he didn't allow thelions to touch him. So let's get
into it. This chapter opens withthe news that Daniel has a new
boss. It is a measure of theprophets remarkable skill that
he an alien distinguisheshimself under to capricious

(09:11):
Babylonian regimens and alsounder the occupation of forces
of metal Persia. Nevertheless, when news leak out that Daniel
will govern the entire kingdom, the palace conspiracies machine
kicks into motion. Daniel is anold man probably in his 80s as
the events of this chapterunfold after six decades of
government service, he finallyfaces a situation like the one

(09:35):
his three friends faced in afiery furnace, an unresolvable
conflict between the law of Godand the law of land. During
these years, Daniel has lostmuch of his Jewish heritage and
has even taken on a Babyloniannamed deal though he cannot
worship God in the prescribedway at the temple in Jerusalem.
His devotion to God never waversinto Is the king's new law. The

(09:59):
old prophet keeps pointinghimself towards Jerusalem three
times a day in prayer, not eventhe threat of death can deter
him from this practice. Ain'tthat amazing? The story of
Daniel in the lion's den hasspecial meaning for both Jews
and Christians because sadly, history has repeated itself so

(10:20):
often the Roman Empire, Stalin'sRussia, Hitler's Germany,
Communist China, they've alltaken their turn at restricting
worship. Yet the church hassurvived and even thrived during
times of intense prosecutionthink that they tried it. Not
everyone who undergoes religiouspersecution receives miraculous

(10:43):
deliverance like Daniels, buttaken as a whole the matrix give
witness to the watching worldthat truth cannot be stamped out
regardless of the penalty.
Thanks so a miracle sparesDaniel life and even greater
miracle takes place in thosearound him started by Daniel

(11:04):
spade, the Persian ruler issueda proclamation that everyone in
his kingdom was fear andreverence, the God of Daniel,
that was in verse 26. Very much.
Soon the same empire that passlaws against Jewish worship will
escort the exiles back to theirhomeland and allow them to
rebuild the temple. The hardtimes and x out leave a lasting

(11:27):
effects on Jewish community aswell. Led by the examples of the
people such as Daniel, theybegan a new practice of meeting
together in synagogues, to studythe law and to pray one day they
will return to their formerhomeland purged of the sin that
has brought them so much anguishFrom this time on Jews are never

(11:49):
again known to practiceidolatry, I want to kind of get
up into this chapter. And sobecause that was just like an
extra continue to read on tokind of just give you
understanding of what we justread and just understood has
gotten used and refining fire toteach you to cleanse you from
sin. Now, all I'm gonna say isDaniel did nothing wrong. He was

(12:11):
actually in his older days, andhe continued to practice his
Jerusalem heritage practice ofpraying to God three times a
day. Now this was never aproblem. But for some strange
reason, when he was Basundi rulein Kingdom over all the nation
of the Persian at that time, thepeople in that place, the set
traps, the people, thecommanders, they were like upset

(12:32):
that King Darius was about toappoint Daniel to be king over
their territory. So why did theyhave to lie on him like that
more they didn't even lie, isthe fact that they went to the
king to put this decree intoplace this law into place and
they knew they were doing it fora specific person, Daniel, the
king to me right in the chapterhe it didn't seem like he wanted

(12:55):
to do this to Daniel becausewhen he found out who it was,
that basically disobeyed his lawthat he just put into place he
was trying to rescue Daniel, butthey reminded the king that you
know, he can't change the lawand it was just like a big setup
for them to try to kind of likedo that to Daniel, which is very
wrong, and it backfired on them.
What did God do he closed themouths of the lions and when

(13:18):
Daniel was in the den heatinghave not a scratch a woman on
his body he basically slept withthe lions like how dope is that?
That you were so protected byGod that she was able to sleep
with the lions? Now a miracleyou can call it what you want
but when you serve a God likethe Almighty Creator that we
have men anything is possiblestraight up and so when the king

(13:40):
woke up and he went to the dento see if something had happened
to Daniel into his astonishingthat nothing happened to Daniel
um the king was like happy hewas overjoyed and he literally
asked Daniel the God you servethe one you pray to? Was he able
to bathe you and rescue you likeyes, Daniel was still alive

(14:01):
Daniel was never touched by thelion God actually closed the
mouths of the lion in no liontouch Daniel, how dope is that?
Then it backfired on the peoplewho actually try to put him in
there not try to put him in herebecause they did. They end up
going into the lion's den withtheir wives and their children.
Jesus talk about brutal talkabout a wrong backfire talk

(14:25):
about you should have justaccepted Daniel as king when it
was time I talk about doingsomething to hurt somebody and
it coming back on your yourwhole family. Talk about
generational curses. Let's talkabout that. Let's talk about how
one person or two person orthree person could be the
destroyer of their entirefamilies. Talk about how the men
who had the King put his ruleinto place, set it up for one

(14:48):
specific person. This onespecific person who prayed to
God he knew nothing wrong wasvery innocent. Think about that.
Think about how it backfire inthe men, their wives and their
children. We're all put in alion's den. They have no family,
no generation to continue. Likethey're cursed that that was a
bad thing that happened to them.
I'm like when I read that waslike, Ooh, cheese, you know, and

(15:09):
it just reminded me it made methink like one wrong action.
commis my whole family. Onewrong lie, one wrong move, one
look to the devil could destroymy entire family. Like, I do not
want that to happen to me or myfamily. I feel like I'm breaking
generational curses. I felt likemy family has had a long history

(15:29):
of curses. And nobody was ableto break that barrier of just
sticking with God and lettingGod do what he needs to do. And
you just continue to work like, towards your goals and things
but God will be the planner foryou. I feel like that this was a
great story. First off, I nevergot into Daniel in alliance.

(15:50):
I've heard it in church. I'veheard certain parts of certain
scripture, but I've never gotteninto it like I did today. Oh my
god, I'm sorry. You guys. Like Idon't find ringing my cell phone
ringing it's gonna ring again. Ican't stop it.
I'm very excited that I got intoDaniel, I was kind of thinking
that this was the other storywhen the when the that was

(16:12):
mentioned in here about thethree guys that went into the
furnace. But that was not thisstory. I can't wait to get into
that story. But this was Danielin the lions. And I'm very happy
that I was able to read Danielin the lions, because I got to
understand and that innocentpeople, not all the time, could
you have a miraculous thing likenot every talk is going to
happen like that for you, oranybody else, whatever. But your

(16:34):
faith is strong and you continueto do what you need to do,
regardless of death or anything.
God is going to protect you. Godis definitely going to protect
you. And so I thought it wasvery interesting. And this
passage right here where it saysthe story of Daniel in the
lion's den has special meaningfor both Jews and Christians
because sadly, history hasrepeated itself so often the

(16:54):
Roman Empire, Stalin's Russia,Hitler's Germany, communis,
China, they have all taken theirturn at restricting worship, yet
the churches have survived andeven thrived during times of
intense persecution. Talk aboutpeople who don't want you to
worship God. Talk about peoplewho don't want you to live on

(17:17):
God. What's funny to me issometimes when I look on the
internet, Facebook whatever thecase may be, not only do I see
Christian people judging andtrying to do God's work, I also
see other people people have notgot this looking for a god but
don't know how to find I don'tknow how to understand our

(17:40):
except I don't know what Gods tolook to. Because there's so many
gods there's so many gods, butthe true Creator, the God of all
gods, is the number one sourcethat we all should look to and
it's so confusing when you gotpeople who are in higher places
who want to take away yourworship who want to take away

(18:00):
now it's so crazy to me becausesociety the world is so
judgmental. It doesn't matter ifyou love Satan God, if you're
Muslim Jew, if you from China,Persia, it don't matter.
Everybody has an opinion and thewhole world is just mixed the My
thing is, it doesn't matterwhere you from, what part of the

(18:21):
world you from what part of whatnation you from what background
you from no matter what, we allhave the same creator that's the
one who created all things onearth. He sits in throne in the
middle of the galaxy like that'sour God you know, in in, in our
ancestors are our family, gods, our country gods and things like
that, like yeah, they're all inthe Bible, you got certain

(18:45):
nations and certain kingdoms andcertain places that I read, and
I see like, okay, there was God,this and kingdom, that and this
and this and that. But itremains the same that the one
creator of all things, evenDaniel's God, everybody's God is
still the one who created all ofus, I think, for me as the
longing of just knowing that I'mconnected to a higher source.

(19:06):
That's the feeling of me justfeeling like I'm connected to a
higher source. It makes me feelconnected to something greater.
It makes me even understand thatI'm something greater and that I
can do so much something greaterlike I can do more basically
that term and that saying youcan do anything you put your
mind to is because when youserve an almighty God who can do
all things and everything, youunderstand that power and you

(19:29):
understand where it comes from.
I'm feeling like Daniel in thelion's den, I'm not to be
touched because I know who Iserve. And that's how I feel in
the world. It's funny to me tosay that because this is so
true. In this world. I feelsometimes like I'm being Daniel
being thrown into the lion'sden. Have you ever felt like

(19:49):
that? Have you felt like youwere Daniel being thrown into
the lions den? This is justhypothetically speaking of still
being thrown into the lions denand nothing happened to you. So
I feel sometimes that societytries to crush you tries to kill
you try to hurt you in so manyways. And I feel like sometimes
this world can be a lion stand.
And I feel like Daniel because Iknow that God has protected me

(20:12):
at all times. I mean, at alltimes from my accident, all
kinds of things that have tookplace over my years and my time
in my life, and I can just seeGod's hands over me. So for me,
it's, it's great. And it'samazing. And I also like to
reference the fact that the kingat the time King Darius, made a
decree, once he got Daniel outof the den, he made a decree. He

(20:35):
wrote this to all nations, andpeople have every language and
all other I mean, no matter whatlanguage you speak, it doesn't
matter where you from wherebackground you from what color
your skin doesn't matter why Iissue a decree, that in all the
nations and people of everylanguage and all the earth, May

(20:56):
you prosper greatly. I issued adecree that every part of my
kingdom, every part of mykingdom, people must fear and
reverence the god of death, forHe is the Living God, and He
endures forever. His kingdomwill not be destroyed, his
dominion will never end, herescues and he says he performed
signs and wonders in the heavensand on earth, He has rescued

(21:18):
Daniel from the power of thelions, he has rescued me from my
car accident. He has rescued mefrom anxiety, depression, he has
rescued me from feeling like abad parent. He has rescued me
from generational curses thatwas brought on to my life to
destroy me, he could see us torescue me, as I continue to look

(21:41):
to Him. And I'm just so honoredto be here and say, you guys
what an amazing episode thiswas. And I really hope that you
be a Daniel and a den of lions, that you continue to look to God
and you understand who's reallyprotecting you, who's closing
the mouth of the lion, becausethis is a story for all of us.

(22:01):
And it should resonate for youto understand that this world
that we live in, is the den oflions, it really is. And I
definitely want God to close themouths of the lions so that when
I'm walking this earth, I'mprotected. I fear nothing. I
fear nothing, and no one and Ican do all things through Christ
who strengthens me, because Idon't got it all. And sometimes

(22:23):
I do worry. And sometimes I canget a little stressed and my
anxiety kick in and depressionis there. But you know what,
when I think about the creatorof my life, all of that starts
to withers. And my faith growsand my hope grows and the love
in my heart is set to know thatit is God who is doing things in
my life. So you guys, this hasbeen a great episode, I advise

(22:45):
you to check out any episodebefore this. Listen to the
stories and also check us out onsocial media. Don't forget we
bout to go visual and I amdefinitely not prepared and not
ready. But hey, what can I do?
I've already put it out there.
I'm very excited to go back onYouTube. I'm very excited to
start a community of people haveblessed people who are willing

(23:07):
to be stripped by Christ becausethat's exactly what's happening
for me and I'm just excited tohave this community of cousins
through Christ and I'm soexcited to be here as your
cousin in Christ to read theBible like I'm a child of God
I'm not perfect I'm a sinnerjust like everybody else. So if
you coming over here looking fora preacher pastor or somebody to

(23:27):

simply a Bible study class and Ishould have said this in the
beginning but you get thepicture. So check us out on
social media. Don't forget tocheck us out everywhere blessed
to be s on Instagram. Would youBible studies on Facebook less
to be asked on Twitter even I'llbe on there like that. But I'm
