God is being preached all overthe world and different
languages and different books.

and understand your relationshipwith God and just to have a

relationship with the Creator ofthe universe is very vital for
our lives to be able to live anenjoyable life today. Now, I do
not want to take too much ofyour time. If you are new here,

individually. And we move inthis world as cousins related in

simply for Bible study. I am achild of God. And I'm very
(02:14):
honored to walk this walk withrelationships hand in hand with
the Holy Spirit, God, JesusChrist, and you know, just the
Holy Trinity. And so here, Idon't want to take too much
time, you can read out of anyVersion Bible you choose to I
read out of the NIV version, itwas a gift from my pastor. And I
actually just take this Bibleand our journey through it and
(02:36):
allow God to allow me to readthe stories and break it down
for you. So this week, today, class, we will be in Exodus
chapter 20. Now, last week, wewas in Exodus chapter three, and
we encountered Moses and Godwhen he encountered him in the
burning bush, go ahead and checkthat story out so that you can
(02:57):
hear it, it was really good. Itwas a great understanding how
God puts you in qualifyingpositions that you may feel that
you are not qualified for, justlike what he did with Moses when
he sent him to free the peoplefrom Egypt. But yeah, we already
covered that story. So I adviseyou to go check it out. Now this
week, Exodus 20, we will be inour title will be the gift of
(03:19):
the 10 commandment. Now we'veall heard the 10 commandments
before we've seen it played outin movies, but how exciting it
is for me to dive into reallyunderstanding the gift of the 10
commandments and what was givento the people back in the times
when we were not even existenceand what that meant to them
people and what that also meantto God. So go ahead and grab
(03:40):
your Bible. Let's go ahead andget this show on the road.
Again, we will be in Exoduschapter 20. Again, you can read
out at any version you choose toyou can simply just listen
follow along if you if you wantto. But if you are ready, I am
ready to and yeah, let's go. SoExodus chapter 20, the 10
commandments, verse one, and Godspoke all these words, I am the
(04:04):
Lord your God who brought youout of Egypt, out of the land of
slavery, you should have noother gods before me. You should
not make for yourself an imagein the form of anything in
heaven above on the earthbeneath or in the waters below.
You should not bow down to themor worship them. For I the LORD
(04:26):
your God am a jealous Godpunishing the children for the
sin of the parents to the thirdand fourth generation of those
who hate me but showing love to1000 generation of those who
love Me and keep Mycommandments. You should not
miss us the name of the Lordyour God for the Lord will not
(04:46):
hold anyone guiltless whomisuses his name. Remember the
Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
Six days you shall labor and doall your work. but the seventh
day is a sabbath to the Lordyour God on it you should not do
any work neither you nor yourson or daughter nor your male or
(05:10):
female servants nor your animalsnor any foreigner residing in
your towns For in six days theLORD made the heavens and earth,
the sea and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh
day. Therefore the LORD blessedthe Sabbath day and made it
holy. Honor your father and yourmother so that you may live long
(05:32):
in the land, the Lord your Godis giving you You shall not
murder You shall not commitadultery, You shall not steal,
you shall not give falsetestimony against your neighbor,
You shall not covet yourneighbor's house, you should not
covet your neighbor's wife orhis male or female servant, his
(05:54):
ox or donkey are anything thatbelongs to your neighbor, idols
and alters verse 22. Then theLord said to Moses, tell the
Israelites this you have seenfor yourself that I have spoken
to you from Heaven do not makeany gods to be alongside me Do
(06:15):
not make for yourself gods ofSilver's are gods of gold, make
an altar of Earth for me andsacrifice on it your burnt
offerings and fellowshipofferings, your sheep and goats
and your cattle, wherever Icause my name to be honored, I
will come to you and bless you.
If you make an altar of stonesfor me, do not build it with
(06:37):
dress stones for you will defileit if you use a tool on it, and
do not go up to my altar onsteps or your private parts may
be exposed. And that's the endof our chapter. Really, really
short, basically straight to thepoint he gave his commandments.
He said what he said and it waslike, Yeah, either you guys are
(07:01):
gonna listen to the commandmentsor not. So let's break it down.
Boom, right off the back as wejump into Exodus 28, the 10
commandment and God is livelive. Let me break it down for
you just what it is. God spokethese words. I am the Lord your
God who brought you out ofEgypt. Remember, we I was up in
Egypt, slaving not havingnothing working hard being
(07:23):
slaves to the people of Egypt?
Yeah, I brush out. Okay, so I'mGod. And I represent that. Let's
just break that down right thenand there. I need thanks for
that I brought you out of theland of Egypt out of slavery. So
you should not have no othergods before me. What did you
(07:45):
have in another guy before meand I'm the one that brought you
out of Egypt, after you guys didnot want to listen. And it took
a whole lot of me convincing foryou guys to get up out of Egypt.
And I brought you guys into theland, the promised land that I
told you guys, so don't have noother gods before me. You should
not make for yourself an imagein the form of anything in
(08:07):
heaven above or on earth beneathor in the waters below.
Basically, God is like, Don'timage me, don't put me in a box
of what you think I look likehello to the people who think
Jesus is white are the ones thatthink he's this or thinking that
God like don't box me in with noimage, boo, you have no idea of
(08:29):
what I look like and what formI'm in. So don't put me in a
form and an image form ofanything in heaven, nor on earth
or a are below because you don'tyou don't know what this is, you
really don't. So you should notbow down to them or worship them
for I the LORD your God and HLSGod punishing the children for
(08:51):
the sin of the parents to thethird and fourth generation of
those who hate me. Now, that'spretty deep. If you really think
about it, God is like, Look, I'mnot worried about it. But you
guys are bowing down to the godsthat are not me, and I'm a
jealous guy. So if you dislikeme and you got your own god, I
ain't gonna say you dislike me.
If you have your own god, youmust be against me, because I'm
(09:13):
the jealous one. And I say don'thave no other gods before me.
Not only that, but if you don'trock with me, that's cool. I
don't bless your children ortheir children or their
children, children and it justkeeps falling like that. Why
would God want to be associatedwith the ones who hate him or
dislike or dislike him or don'thave no type of acknowledge of
(09:37):
his great work? Like, come on,it just makes sense. And I and I
see what God talking about. I'mlike, I'm on his side. I'm like,
yeah, if you're gonna create aGod of your own image, and
you're gonna bow down andworship God of your own image,
or what you think God is in God,I got nothing to do with you. I
can clearly understand thatpunishing the children for the
sin of the parents to the thirdand fourth generation of those
(09:59):
who Hate me just kept a realbuzz showing love to 1000
generations of those who love Meand keep My commandments shout
out to my grandmother shout outto her grandmother and her
grandmother and her grandmotherbefore that just shout out to
the our ancestors who kept theword of God in our lives. That's
for all of us who grew up inchurch, all of us who had those
(10:23):
praying grandmothers and prayinggrandfathers, and all of those
generations before us who keptGod's commandment, even though
some of our family members hadnot knew the full understanding
of God, because no one wouldever know the full understanding
of God, but keeping us connectedto God in some type of way,
shape, or form for when we doreach our adulthood life. And we
(10:46):
want to find God on our own, wehave an idea of what praising
God feels like and look likebased off our family who kept us
commanded and kept us in churchor kept us in the commandments
of God. And I really doappreciate my grandma for that
she was a praying woman, she wasa woman of God, of course, she
had flaws, and she made mistakesand things like that. But she
(11:08):
prayed over her kids, and sheprayed over her grandkids, and
her mother did the same. Andyour mother did the same. And it
just goes on for me, I pray overmy kids and I do the same thing.
I'm a woman of God, and justknowing that God is going to
bless my kids based off of mydoing right now. Like, I love
the Lord and I install that inmy kids. And even though they
(11:28):
don't have the fullunderstanding of what love is,
and how to properly love theLord, or allow the Lord to love
them, the fact that I'm able toinstall this in them right now
they will know that and God seesthat and he knows that and so
that brings me honor to knowlike you know God has blessed me
in those areas passing that lovedown to my children the love
that I have for him and it'sjust amazing so you know you
(11:51):
should not miss us the name ofthe Lord your God for the Lord
would not hold any guiltless whomisuses his name he talking to
all of us we are always puttingstuff on I put that on God I put
that on my life I put oneverything you know, we always
use misuse the Lord's name. I'mguilty of it. I know saying I
have misused his name plenty oftimes and and wondered why, you
(12:15):
know, I felt guilty when usingGod's name. God didn't feel
guiltless for me. He's like, Ah,don't misuse my name. Don't you
need to know me are going aboutyour business. That's one thing
I learned about God is He isstraight up. He keep His
straight up real with you.
However, you may not like it.
But the realness of God is justso sufficient. When it flows
(12:38):
through your whole being. Itgives you that connection that
you need, like, yeah, me andGod, we see eye to eye, I get
what he's talking about.
Remember the seventh day bykeeping it holy, Six days you
shall labor and do all yourwork. But the seventh day is the
seventh day to the Lord and soon it, you should do nothing.
Basically, the Lord God createdthe entire universe, the Earth
(12:58):
that we're in, and heestablished everything in six
days. And on the seventh day herested. And so on that seventh
day, he declared it to be holy.
And that's where Sunday come inat. I don't know how the whole
days of the week actually workwith science and technology, and
how it's all put in togetherwith God from Monday to Sunday.
(13:21):
But what I do know is when hegave these orders back in that
time, these orders was verystrategic for those times 1000s
of years ago. And so I know howimportant that is for
generations and generations totry to keep that that Sabbath
day holy, especially to the onesin Egypt or Israel are in the
(13:42):
Jewish communities and thingslike that. Even Christians, we
tend to try to keep this Sabbathday and I think that's where
Sunday come in at. But again,I'm not preacher, don't get me
to sit up here. Villani allbecause that's all I know,
preacher. Right? I'm justletting God use me. And so the
seventh day, it belongs to theLord, however you choose to do
it, whether you sit at home allday, worship God, they can talk
(14:05):
to him, you know, just be inconnection with God. But it's
very important to take out sometime to have with the Lord, even
if it's just a little bit oftime, five minutes, two minutes,
three minutes, one minute, whatever, however you choose to
I don't know how your days isset up. But so importantly, I
feel I find myself when I haveto do something and maybe go to
(14:25):
work or something and I findthat I miss it or I miss my mark
or something. I learned to notstress about things and I
learned to take that time toactually go chill with God, I
will miss work to have a one onone time with God. I will miss a
party so that I could pray aboutsomething that's bothering me. I
would literally dismiss myfriends and family and not talk
(14:45):
to people because I'm in talkingand relationship with God and
I'm going through motions withwhat what God got me going
through. And so a lot of times Ido dismiss myself in society to
have this one on one time withGod and I do that personally for
my own sake. I'm not telling youthat you should do this or what
you should do. But I'm justmaking it known that taking
personal time out to talk to Godand whatever it is that you are
(15:09):
going through our needs someclarification about having that
one on one time with God is justsuper important is super
important to your walk is superimportant to your journey, your
purpose in everything that Godhas for you. So I really like
that the seventh day is holy, you know, six days the LORD made
the heavens and the earth, thesea and all that within him, but
he rested on the seventh day, therefore the Lord blessed the
(15:31):
Sabbath day and made it holy.
Honor your father and yourmother so that you may live long
in the land of the Lord. I'mgonna touch this subject for a
minute, because for a very longtime, I did not honor my mother,
I didn't have a father to honorin my life. I didn't have my
biological father in my life.
But I did have a stepfather inmy life who I do honor but to
(15:52):
have a whole bigger parent in mylife, I wasn't able to be having
that and have a mother or fatherin my life. And my grandmother
took care of me to honor mymother and my father, it took a
lot of challenging times, ittook a lot of disobedience, it
took a lot of anger, a lot ofwar within myself, a lot of
(16:13):
rage, a lot of disappointment,it took a lot of things that I
didn't know that was kept it inme to come out of me to honor my
mother and my father, I don'tknow my father. So I would just
say, honor my mother, becausethat's the one who I had a
strange relationship with. Itwas very unhealthy. It was
awkward. It wasn't a mother anddaughter relationship. It was
(16:34):
very aggressive and negative.
And I had this hatred for herfor a very long time of why she
couldn't just be the mother thatI needed and where she was at,
you know, why was I in asituation I was at and why she
never took care of me and in hisstay with me for so long that I
didn't know that it was actuallyhurting me and killing me in an
inside and it was portrayed onthe outside. So even though
(16:55):
people will look at me, and theywould think that I had it all
figured out the whole time,I was literally deteriorating.
And inside, I was falling apart.
And I remember just saying like,I want to have a relationship
with my mom. But I don't knowhow because I hate her so much.
I don't even know how to forgiveher. And I remember, you know,
just confessing this over andover as to God and just talking
(17:18):
to him about how I feel, andabout my childhood and
everything that just I felt justkept me captive. And I remember
God was just talking to me. Andhe started to allow me to
release some things. And hestarted to cover me in love that
was just so sufficient that Iwas able to now start seeing
what love is. And I started topour that love into the person
(17:39):
that I thought I hated, whichwas my mother and to honor her,
I never knew exactly what thatmeant. And I think people still
don't know what that means tohonor thy parents. It's not to
give them anything that theywant. It's not to give them what
they did not give you it hasnothing to do with that. But to
honor them in the name of theLord, to honor them in the same
(18:00):
love that God gave you in thesame forgiveness that God has
poured on me over and over andover again. And it's just to
honor them in that way. It'slike I tell my mom all the time,
as she reminds me over and overhow I wouldn't be here if it
wasn't for her art, you know howher mother wanted her to get rid
of me and all of this negativestuff that she was trying to
(18:21):
install in me. So be thankfulfor birthing her. But at the
same time I was angry becauseshe wasn't around. I remember
God actually speaking to me andtelling me that he had a plan
for me, and that the reason whyI was here on Earth is for His
purpose. And admittedly, at thatpoint, when I felt that come
over me, I felt Wow. You know, this whole time I'm angry at
(18:45):
this person for not being mymother, but the whole time God
actually just use her as avessel to get me here. And the
reason why I'm so protected andcovered in the name of Jesus is
because God's plan always bemore sufficient than what the
devil has for me. And so eventhough my mom was trying to feed
me the negative things that thedevil was feeding her to try to
(19:06):
hurt me, God was able to sustainme grabbed me and comfort me in
the love and grace that He hadme here for a reason. And I
remember telling my mom, I waslike, Well, you know, you may
have wanted to get rid of me.
But I think God had a purposefor me because now I'm here and
I'm able to enjoy this life withmy kids and show them what a
mother is no offense to mymother, but I didn't know what a
(19:30):
mother was. I never had thatexperience. And so me being a
mother was just all brand new tome and it's brand new to
everybody. But you kind of getan idea of what motherhood is if
you actually have a decentmother to help you out in this
world. And for me, I didn't havethat. And so God wanted me to
know that I was not less ofbecause I didn't have a stable
(19:50):
mother that I still had to honorher but I had to honor her in
the way that God allowed me tohonor her Not like how other
people are honored her arehonored their parents. And so I
had to learn that on my own. Andso I just asked that anybody who
don't have a relationship withtheir parents, I asked that God
step in on your behalf andcomfort you and give you a love
(20:14):
and a grace and a comfort thatis just so sufficient in that no
earthly parent love can overcomethat. And that's why I rely so
hard on God being my parents, heis both my mother and my father,
because His purpose for meoutweighs and outstands the plan
that my mother may have for me,she didn't know how to be a
(20:35):
mother. But yeah, God gave methe tools and helped me learn
how to be a mother. And so I'mso grateful for that, because I
didn't know how to honor myparents. I was so angry. How do
you honor a parent that you'reso angry at? I took a lot of
talking with God, a lot ofconfessing to myself a lot of
breakthrough crying, a lot ofjust understanding that God
purpose for me was not mymother, my birth mother's
(20:58):
purpose for me to understandthat it made me honor her the
way that I should, should I say,and so yeah, I thought that to
be very influential for me. AndI hope that's influential for
somebody else to know how tohonor thy parents, because I
didn't know how for a very longtime, Honor your father mother
so that you may live long in theland and Lord, your God is
(21:19):
giving you You shall not murder.
We all know this. And you shouldnot commit adultery. And we all
know this, you should not steallittle sticky fingers fivefinger
discount, there's no such thing, okay, five finger 10 Finger
discount, no such thing youshould not steal. And you should
not give false testimony againstyour neighbor, you should not
(21:40):
lie. Basically, that's what afalse testimony is, you should
not lie period, lying doesn't doanything but cause more
problems, the truth will set youfree. I don't care how a person
like it or not, the truth willset you free, you will live
guilt free, conscience free, thetruth will set you free, you
shall not covet your neighbor'shouse. Now covet means to
(22:01):
possess something to possess, orto have something that's not
yours. You should not covet yourneighbor's house, their wife,
their spouse, or anything thatbelongs to them, you should not
look outside of you and covetanybody you should not possess
or want anything of somebody'sthat do not belong to you. It's
very simple. It's very clear.
And to me is like I think that'san easy thing, because I don't
(22:26):
want what somebody else have. Iactually want what God has for
me. And if if it's not from God,then I don't want it. Like
honestly, it sounds easy, and itsounds good. But I'm really
serious. If it's not from God, Itruly do not want it if it's
somebody else's in somebodyelse's life, whether it's their
house, their car, their spouse, their work, their lifestyle,
(22:46):
their everything, I do not wantwhat somebody else has, I do not
possess for what somebody elsehas, the moment that you do that
you lose gain of yourself, youlose gain of what you should
have and what God has for you.
Why would I want something thatbelongs to somebody else when
God has something for me myhands will be closed once I
(23:10):
receive something of somebodyelse's but my hands should be
open to receive what God has forme now I don't know how you do
it or how you get now but I'mliterally just speaking on me as
we move on to idols and altarsGod made it very clear in his
commandment don't create noother gods don't create and
create no image of no other godI'm a jealous guy. Period don't
(23:32):
create no silver no go nonothing. Don't do that. The Lord
said to Moses, tell theIsraelites this you have seen
for yourself that I have spokento you from heaven. So do not
make any gods to be alongsideme. God don't need no help. He
don't need assistance. He don'tneed nobody else. He is the God
that created the universe in sixdays. He doesn't need any body.
(23:55):
Okay, we actually need him foranybody who thinks that God
needs us I'm sorry you got itall wrong and twist it I'm here
to let you know that is not theway it works. But then again,
it's your own prerogative. Youcan believe what you want do you
I have my own God to serve youcould choose to serve these
celebrities as Gods you couldchoose to serve these material
things as Gods you can choose toserve money as gods. So do not
(24:19):
make for yourself gods ofSilver's or Gods ago he said
instead make an altar of Earthfor me and sacrifice on your
burnt offerings and fellowshipofferings your sheep and goats
and your cattle whatever Icaused my name to be honored, I
will come to you and bless youif you make an altar of stones
(24:40):
for me do not build it withdress stones. It ain't gotta be
blinged out I mean nowadays itcan because you know that was
back in the old days. You knownowadays God is basically like
if you're gonna make otter forme you don't need to put no
tools into it come to me onearth as it is for you with the
fall it if you use a tool on anddo not go up to my altar
(25:02):
Olmstead or your private partsmay be exposed. Now I'm not
thinking he talked and privateparts like our private parts on
our body. I'm talking like ourprivate person insecurities. Our
private persons in our lives.
Our fleshly private parts guywas like, Look, you step on the
steps, your private parts willbe exposed. How many times have
you stepped in church withoutanything to say, but yet you
(25:24):
were touched by the word are yetyou don't even know why you were
in church crying, or you don'tknow why you were so emotional
when he was having aconversation with God or when he
was talking to God, you don'tknow why you felt the strong
emotions of sensitivity comingover your life like because when
you step on the steps of God,and when you actually enter in
the presence of God, yourprivate parts will show straight
(25:47):
up. And he not talking aboutyour private parts like what's
on our body? No, he's talkingabout our private parts, like
our insecurities, our fears, ourfake love that we
have, how we covet people, ourlisting all of that it starts to
expose on us and where you don'twant to be exposed, you might
(26:08):
deny what God is saying or doingfor you. For me, I've been
asking God to expose me. That'swhy my podcast is called blessed
to be stripped, I am blessed tobe stripped by God stripped me,
God, of all the things that'snot like you Yeah, I may be a
stripper in real life. But Godis stripping me in real life.
(26:28):
Like that is a big deal for me.
And I take that to heart becauseI never want my job or what I do
for a living allow God to not dowhat he do for me, he can use me
until I'm no longer usable byhim on Earth. And that will be
when my time is no longer here, when I can no longer be used by
God to make note of what isgoing on in the kingdom, or what
(26:51):
could go on in the kingdom.
That's when God can take me andwe'd be on our way. And I asked
him to strip me wholeheartedlybecause I am nothing without
God, my existence is nonexistence. Without God, I don't
have a purpose without God. Andwhatever that purpose may be.
(27:11):
He's allowing me to move forwardwith strength with confidence
with power and authority to say,You know what my God said, I
should be here, I could be hereand I'm going to be here. And
I'm not going to be here soakingand basking in my sin, because
we already know that we canescape sin. But what I can do is
(27:32):
be here, allowing God to stripme of all the skills on my eyes,
all the things that's on me,that's not like him, and to use
me for His purpose, and whateverpurpose that may be. I'm just
here to be used by God. And Iknow a lot of people don't think
that it's ideal. But again, that's your business, you do
(27:53):
what you do, I am not apreacher, I cannot tell you how
to gain a relationship with God,I can't tell you what to do, or
what makes you happy, and yourskin before me and my household.
We don't pray and walk in thename of Jesus, and God and the
Holy Spirit and a holy trinityrepresent God in my house. So if
(28:14):
you know me, I pray that youknow the God in me, and I pray
for all of my listeners toestablish a relationship with
God. There's a whole lot ofquick money schemes. There's a
