what's been happening over heretoday class, we will be in
Genesis chapter 22. I know weskipped from Genesis chapter
three, all the way to chapter22. And again, I'm following
along this Bible plan that Ihave in my Bible, that just
gives me a breakdown of what'sbeen preached about today,

(02:02):
stories that we hear all thetime that are literally talked
about all over in churches, manydifferent languages, how just
the Bible is just so sufficientand vital for our lives to
apply. But it's just so hardsometimes how to obtain a
relationship with God is not aneasy thing to do. And it's not
something that somebody couldjust volunteer you to do. You

(02:23):
know, nobody can make you go andform a relationship with God, it
is just very important for yourlife to have a relationship with
the Creator. Because why not bein relationship with the one who
knows you in and out like eightmeans the world to me to be in
this position to walk hand inhand with the Holy Spirit and
just allow God to use me to gothrough the Bible to hear the

(02:47):
message to hear the stories andalso to apply it to my life. So
if you are ready, go ahead andgrab your Bibles again. Today's
class we will be into Genesischapter 22. And today's title is
Abraham and Isaac. Now we allhave heard stories about Abraham
and Isaac, but you ain't neverheard it, how I'm about to break

(03:10):
it down and get the back end onreally what took place in the
story of Abraham and Isaac. So Iread out of the NIV version, you
could we not have any versionyou choose to edit your
business, you can simply justlisten and follow along that is
your business as well. If youare ready, I am ready to and
let's begin. Abraham testedchapter 22 verse one, sometime

(03:34):
later, God tested Abraham hesaid to him, Abraham, here I am
here apply. Then God said, Takeyour son, your only son, who you
love Isaac and go to the regionof Moriah Sacrifice him there as
a burnt offering on a mountain Iwill show you early the next

(03:56):
morning Abraham got up andloaded his donkey he took with
him two of his servants and hisson Isaac when he had cut enough
wood for the burnt offering heset out for the place God had
told him about on the third dayAbraham looked up and saw the
place in a distance he said tohis servants, stay here with the

(04:16):
donkey while I end the boy goover there we will worship and
then we will come back to you.
Abraham took the wood for theburnt offering and placed it on
his son Isaac and he himselfcarried the fire in the knife.
As the two of them went ontogether. Isaac spoke up and

(04:37):
said to his father Abrahamfather, yes, my son, Abraham
reply. The fire and wood arehere. Isaac said but where is
the lamb for the burnt offering?
Abraham answered God himselfwill provide the lamb for the
burnt offering my son and thetwo of them went on together
when they reached a place Godhad told him about it. Abraham

(04:58):
built an altar there and arrangethe wood on it. He bowed his son
Isaac and laid him on theoutside on top of the wood. Then
he reached out his hand and tookhis knife to slay his son.
But the angel of the Lord calledout to him from heaven, Abraham,
Abraham, here I am, he replied,Do not lay a hand on that boy,

(05:21):
he said, do not do anything tohim. Now I know that you fear
God because you have notwithheld from me your son, your
only son, Abraham looked up inthere in a thicket, he saw a
ramp caught by his horns, hewent over and took the ram and
sacrifice it as a burnt offeringinstead of his son. So Abraham

(05:43):
called that place The LORD WillProvide and to this day it is
said on the mountain of theLord, it will be provided. Verse
15, the angel of the Lord callto Abraham from heaven a second
time and said, I swear by myselfdeclares the LORD that because
you have done this and have notwithheld your son, your only

(06:05):
son, I will surely bless you andmake your descendants as
numerous as the stars in thesky. And as the sand on the
seashore, your descendants willtake possession of the cities of
their enemies and through youroffsprings. All nations on earth
will be blessed, because youhave obeyed me. Then Abraham
returned to His servants andthey set off together forbear

(06:27):
Shiva and Abraham stayed in bearShiva, no Harz son, verse 20.
Sometime later, Abraham wastowed, Milka is also a mother
she has born sons to yourbrother, no har as the
firstborn, but his brother Kimmule, the father of a ram cast

(06:48):
Hazel pill, dash GitLab andBethel Bethel became the father
of Rebecca Milka bore theseeight sons to Abraham's brother
and a whore his concubine whosename was Rima also have sons,
Teva Gohan, to hash and maca.
And that is the end of ourchapter. What a very short

(07:11):
chapter straight to the point.
And yeah, let'sbreak it down. So boom, Abraham
was tested by the Lord, I'mtaking it in the chapters before
we didn't get a chance toproperly get an introduction of
Abraham. But I'm guessing thatAbraham has been tested by the
Lord plenty of times. But thistime Abraham was tested to the

(07:34):
point where he had to sacrificehis son. So sometime later, God
tested Abraham, he says him,Abraham, Abraham, like Here I am
Lord, God, like take your son, your only son, the one that I
told you was going to have takehim to the regions of Moriah and
Sacrifice him there as a burntoffering to me. And on the

(07:54):
mountain, I will show you SoAbraham didn't question didn't
say nothing. The next morning,he got up, he took his son to
service enough wood, theystarted to head up to the
mountain he set out for theplace that God had told him
about. And on the third day,Abraham looked up and saw the
place in a distance. So theywere walking, chugging along day

(08:18):
one, day two, and then on daythree, Abraham actually see the
place that God has told himabout Abraham, so his servants
stay here with the donkey whileme and my son go over there, we
will worship the Lord and thenwe will come back to you.
Abraham took the word for theburnt offering and place that
one his son Isaac, and he him socarried the fire in him and his

(08:40):
son, they just walking along.
And Isaac is noticing that theydon't have a bird offerings. So
he looked up and he like,Father, where is the bird
offering because we have thewood, we have the fire, we have
the knife, but we don't have yetthe sacrifice the offering. And

(09:00):
Abraham looks at his son and hesaid, Son, God will provide the
sacrifice. And so he willprovide the bird offering my son
Don't worry about it. And so thetwo of them just carried on
together. When they reached theplace God had told him about
Abraham built an actual altarand he arranged a word on it He
bound his son Isaac and laid himon the altar on top of the wood.

(09:24):
As soon as he took out his knifeto get ready to sacrifice his
son, an angel caught out toAbraham and was like Abraham,
Abraham, don't do that. Abrahamlike I'm here I'm here, like,
ooh, like I can see a sweat justdripping from Abraham here like
I'm really about to sacrifice myson, but I'm guessing that you
know, he had his share of fairtimes with not doing what God

(09:47):
told him to do are trustingGod's word and this time he was
actually going to pull throughtoday so he was actually about
to sacrifice his son but in themidst of sacrifices his son and
Angel caught also Abraham it waslike ever Abraham, Abraham
quickly reply like here I am andhe like Do not lay a hand on a
boy he said do not do anythingto him. Now I know that you fear

(10:09):
God because you have notwithheld from me your own least
son Abraham looked up and what amiracle it was it right there in
a thicket. It was a ram caughtright in the bushes, horns,
thorns just stuck, right? TheRam was just coffin in the
sacrifice. And I'm sure Abrahamlooked up and gave many, many

(10:29):
things to God, and he didn'thave to sacrifice his son, but
yet that God was able to providea sacrifice for Abraham, right
in the midst of the time day, hefelt like, you know, he was
about to sacrifice his son. Sohe takes the RAM and he does
exactly what God told him to tosacrifice the burnt offer for
him, Abraham decided to callthat place the Lord will

(10:53):
provide. And it really stuck outto me as I'm reading the story.
And trust me, I've heard thisstory plenty of times. But what
sticking out to me is this onequestion that I can hear up in
my head is how many times haveGod has tested you and you have
failed? How many times have youtold God Montreux, that you

(11:16):
trust Him, and you have failedto do that. So just listening to
the story, as I'm talking aboutit, this is was planted in my
head, Abraham ends up namingthat place The LORD Will Provide
and to this day it is set on amountain of the Lord, it will be
provided, I'm gonna just tellthis story, and I'm gonna try to
tell it as quick as possible.
One day, I was driving home inmy car, and I was coming from

(11:38):
Los Angeles going up to a citycalled Victorville, which is
like an hour and a half away, Iwas on my way home, and I was
deciding like, Okay, I'm goingto get gas because I know that
my car needs gas. This oneparticular time, never had I
ever took this way ever in mylife. And I've never decided to

(11:59):
go home this way. But this oneparticular time, I decided to
use my GPS to get me from thelocation of Los Angeles where I
was at to get me home toVictorville. The GPS decided,
I don't know, for what reasonshe he decided to take me on a
different route. So I'm on thisroute. And as I'm driving

(12:22):
around, I'm thinking to myself,Okay, my car gas is getting low,
and I need to go ahead and getsome gas. So I'm going to pull
over into the next exit, orwhatever the case may be, I'm
noticing that there is no exitfor me to get off this freeway,
this road, this runway freeway,or whatever it was, and there

(12:43):
was no exit. But instead, thefreeway was actually leading me
into some mountains, I kid younot, I'm thinking like, okay,
you know, I'm gonna go to themountains, but there's going to
be some type of exit for me toget out. Now my gas light is on
and my car is telling me that Ineed gas. So at this point, I'm

(13:06):
starting to get a little bitnervous because I'm in the
middle of the mountains, and mygas is running out of gas, I
started to panic, I started topanic a little bit, and I'm
praying in my hand, I'm saying,oh, Lord, Jesus, please get me
to a gas station. This is when Ifirst started taking my my
spiritual walk. This is in thebeginning of my spiritual walk,

(13:28):
I had to be like, a year into myspiritual journey. So I'm going
through the mountain, my car'sgoing on a and I'm praying, and
I'm asking God to get me to thenext gas station. I'm getting me
to a gas station. So my, my gasis just dropping like is going
like now I'm 10 Mouse, being onempty, and I'm in the middle of

(13:49):
nowhere. And now my phoneservice is starting to lose
service is starting to not haveany cellular service. So I'm
really starting to panic. Therewas something inside of me
something in my heart. Icouldn't explain to myself what
it was at the time. But it was astrong urge and a strong voice
saying Do you trust me? I gotyou keep going. And I just kept

(14:14):
hearing it. Do you trust me? Igot you keep going. Do you trust
me, I got to keep going. Andstill to this day, this story
brings tears to my eyes, especially when I tell it and
remember it so vividly. Like howI'm doing it right now. I
remember it so boldly in myspirit that I can hear God
asking me Do you trust mebecause I got you. I need you to

(14:37):
keep going. So at this point, mycar is already on II. I've
already ran out the 10 milesthat I had and I am completely
in the middle of the mountainsand only dependent on my GPS,
the GPS that I've already had itloaded up because now at this
point, I don't have service andI started to cry and I thought

(15:00):
to exclaim Yes, I trust you, Ibelieve that you got me. And I
started to tell God that and itwas like a force pushing my car
through the mountain. Because mycar at this point was on IE, I
had no gas in my car, I had zeromiles to get to the gas station.

(15:20):
But for some reason my car wasmoving at full speed, I started
to think about all a millionthings of why my car was still
going, I'm like, maybe it'sbecause I'm going down a hill,
maybe because it's the loop inthe mountain, you know, it was
just all these things. But theone thing that stuck out to me
is I kept saying, God is pushingmy car to the gas station and

(15:44):
make a long story short, my cardrove about, I want to say it
has to be like 50 to 70 mileswhere my car was driving on
empty, and I actually made it toa gas station. And when I got to
that gas station, all I could dowas cry, tears of joy. I

(16:07):
couldn't even understand whathad just took place. And it was
a strong, strong feeling, astrong urge and a strong sense
that God was explaining to mehow he had me. And all I needed
to do was TRUST Him that moment,I think, I think I took my
spiritual journey super serious,I started to not playing by

(16:30):
myself. And I started to notplay about having faith in God,
because I watch God literallyproduce a miracle in my life at
that moment. And so for somepeople, it may sound crazy, and
it may sound untrue. But to me,the person who actually walked
and bear witness to this miracleto be in a situation like that,

(16:51):
when you have no choice but totrust God to rely on him, and
you actually see him pullthrough for you, that has to be
a filling that is so rewardingto just heighten and highlight
the faith and hope that I havein the Creator. So I can truly
understand thatI can say that I understand how
Abraham felt when God asked himto do something, and he went

(17:15):
along to do it, not knowing howthe outcome will be when
thinking that he will have tosacrifice his son, and at the
very, very minute that he feltlike it was over for his son,
God actually provided for him.
That says a lot to me, it bringsabout the mini miracle stories
that God has done for people.
And it's not just Abraham, forme, for you, for other people.

(17:39):
If you can just look at that.
You would think like, how didthis happen? And of course, only
God, only God can allow somethings like this to happen. And
it's a blessing to me to be ableto read the stories and then get
get the back end story on that.
And they understand how a backend story took place in my life.

(18:01):
I see how God worked in my lifeand at a time where he was
present in my life or where heshowed his hand in my life when
he blessed my life with to lookat that and say you know what,
God the trust that I have inyou, I ask that you multiply
that trust, I ask that youheighten that trust, I ask that
you enlighten that trust for mebecause that trust is what's

(18:23):
going to get me through it'sgoing to get me through my hard
timesit's going to keep me through my
good times is going to allow meto live how I'm supposed to live
because I'm trusting the source.
That's going to be my one thatthe one that's going to provide
one thing about the Lord He willprovide, she will provide it

(18:45):
will provide however youidentified the Lord it will
provide the Lord will provide Iam a walking testimony. There's
plenty of walking testimoniesout here and I can say the Lord
will provide and to understandhow Abraham named that place The
LORD Will Provide is because atthat moment when you felt like I
was going to have to give upsomething that the Lord gave me

(19:07):
but yet the Lord actuallyprovided for that moment. It's
very rewarding. I love the factthat I'm able to dive into the
Bible and get the back end storyfrom my own understanding. And
so the angel call to Abrahamfrom heaven a second time and
said, I swear by myself declaresthe Lord. So this is the Lord
telling Abraham that because youhave done this and have not

(19:29):
withheld your son your only timeI will surely bless you and make
your descendants as numerous asthe stars in the sky and as the
sand on the seashore. That is alot of descendants. Talking
about the sand on the seashorehoney, you talking about every
little grain of sand. That's alot. Even the stars in the sky
like that's a lot Georgiacenters will take possessions of

(19:49):
the cities of their enemies andthrough your offsprings. All
nations on earth will be blessedbecause you have obey me just
off that obedient God was likeyet you might die. I'm going on
bless you from here on out likeyou won't have nations or
nations all nations yourdecision this is going to swamp
this world like you're gonnahave generations after

(20:10):
generations after generation.
Then Abraham returned to Hisservant and they set off
together for a better Shiva andAbraham stayed in bear Shiva.
Now I don't know how Noah hassons no horse I think I'm saying
his name. I know horse as cameabout, but it does give us a
glimpse of Abraham's Brother, nowhore who also had a sons by his
woman Milka sometimes later,Abraham was told Milka is also a

(20:35):
mother. She bores the seekerBrother, no whore, was the
firstborn but his brother Kim,you're the father of a ram
kissed Hazel pill dash GitLaband Bethel Bethel became the
father of Rebecca Milka borethese a sons to Abraham's
brother. No whore his concubine, wasn't Horace cocky wine if you

(20:59):
guys don't know what a concubineis a cocky Why is like a side
piece in the ancient times butlike a servant to the wife,
who's also a side piece to thehusband. It was all poly life if
you ask me. It was back in theday still going on today. But
anyways, anyway, so he had asigh peace cocky wine and her

(21:19):
name was Rima and his spell areeu ma H I could be saying her
name wrong but you know whatwe're gonna call her Rima and
she also has sons Teva got hometo harsh and maker market, she
had four sons. So I'm takingAbraham brother eight 910 1112
He had ASINs Abraham law had alot of kids too, because

(21:41):
Abraham, even though it saysright here in this chapter that
Isaac was his only son, technically, there was not his
only son because Isaiah cameafter Abraham slept with one of
Sarah's servants. But we didn'tget to that story because the
Bible didn't this Bible plan didnot allow us to get to that
story. Instead, it pushed us allthe way to Genesis chapter 22.

(22:03):
And yeah, you guys that is thestory of Genesis chapter two.
I'm sure we guys we've heardthis story plenty of times how
Abraham was tested. But thething that stands out to me the
question that stands out to meis what God wants and what he
wants because you would thinklike what kind of game is God
plan like God in what you do,and you you are here with the

(22:25):
square games, okay? Like God isreally with the square games.
That's, that's somebody youdon't want to play with. So
basically, when you ask thatquestion, What does God want?
Whatever does God wants, Godwants space. The Bible says God
wants faith. He wants us, hischildren, his kids, his his
descendants, his hairs to havefaith in Him through our good

(22:50):
through our bad, our ups anddowns, and all around. God wants
faith. That's what he wants, hewants. He means complete trust,
regardless of the art when wefind learn that it's so
rewarding in for instance, mystory for what's my story for
instance, taking me through themountain guy wanting me to trust

(23:10):
Him that He will get my car fromwhere it was at all the way to
the gas station driving 50 plusmiles on IE guy wanted me to
trust Him or they got me to mydestination. So the question for
us is what is the hardest testof faith you have ever been
through? How has God beenteaching you that you can trust

(23:31):
him the hardest test of faiththat I have been through I'm
actually going through it rightnow is trusting God in my life
to allow me to be the one tobreak generational curses. I
don't know a millionaire and myfamily. I don't I've never met
one I don't come from them. Inever seen none but it starts

(23:55):
with me. I will be the firstmillionaire in my family that
will pass down multi millionairegenerational wealth to my kids
and they will pass down to theirchildren. The test has been to
trust God faithfully in allareas of my life from breaking
generational trauma of childhoodto breaking curses, debt of

(24:19):
finances to leaving me into apromised land that says that my
life is sufficient and I dodeserve to live and enjoyable
life despite where I come fromno foster care, no childcare
system, not having a mom and dadnot having people to support me
or anything like thatever is going to define what God

(24:42):
has for me in my life. And Ideclare that for you as well
because we are generationalcurse breakers that mean
anything about my life that wasnot saved for God to keep me
hostage. Best believe If God isgoing to allow every yoke to be
broken, every bond to be bredbecause he's going to pull me

(25:05):
out into the promised land, andthat promised land is saying
that my daughter is sufficientto have whatever it is that she
desire here on earth because shetrusts me. She has faith in me,
and it's a great reward that Iwouldn't want to change for
anybody. I will stop and dropall that I'm doing to walk in

(25:25):
relationship with God becausethat is the only thing that's
keeping me and 100 everythingelse is a percentage of what a
relationship God has, but arelationship with God is at full
100% It is the most importantthing to me. I thank you for
coming on today's episode, so goahead you guys send this message

(25:47):
to somebody who you feel maybenefit from it. It could be
anybody who have a hard timereading the Bible we just don't
know how and kids simply justfollow along with us and come
