Not even with everything handed to us did we have the skills to follow the rules; why did we still disobey the Lord's First commandment? How being weak to flesh could cause you to lose everything?

I'm so glad you're here. It's a pleasure to study with you.

chapter three. Last week, wewere in Genesis chapter one. And
we got the backstory on how Godcreated the earth that we are so
pleasantly living and today nowtoday we are going into three

(03:00):
and this is the origin of sin, basically the fall of what took
place and why sin was createdtoday. If you already I am to go
ahead and grab your Bibles. Goahead and get coffee. If you
don't have a Bible, don't worry, you can simply just listen and

(03:20):

represent any guy to choose frombecause God is all in all above
and all beyond and allunderneath. So he's one he's all
of our fathers and so I welcomeyou I welcome all I am ready,
let's get this thing chop inGenesis chapter three, the fall,
verse one. Now the serpent wasmore crafty than any of the wild

(03:45):
animals the Lord God had made.
He said to the woman, Did Godreally say you must not eat from
any tree in the garden, thewoman said to the serpent, We
may eat fruit from the trees inthe garden. But God does say you
must not eat fruit from the treethat is in the middle of the

(04:07):
garden and you must not touch itor you will die. You will
certainly not die. The serpentsaid to the woman for god knows
that when you eat from it, youreyes will be open and you will
be like God knowing good andevil. When the woman saw that
the fruit of the tree was goodfor food and pleasing to the eye

(04:29):
and also desirable for gainingwisdom. She took some and ate
it. She also gave some to herhusband who was with her and he
ate it. Then the eyes of both ofthem were open and they realized
they were naked. So they sewedfig leaves together and make
coverings for themselves. Thenthe man and his wife heard the

(04:52):
sound of the Lord God as he waswalking in the garden in the
cool of the day and they hidfrom the LORD God among the
trees.
of the garden, but the Lord Godcall to the man, where are you?
He answered, I heard you in thegarden and I was afraid because
I was naked, so I hid. And hesaid, Who told you that you were

(05:14):
naked? Have you eaten from thetree that I commanded you not to
eat from? The man said, Thewoman you put here with me. She
gave me some fruit from thetree. And I did. Then the Lord
God said to the woman, what isthis? Have you done? The woman
said, The serpent deceived meand I hate it. So the Lord God

(05:38):
said to the serpent, Because youhave done this, Cursed are you
above all livestock and all wildanimals, you will crawl on your
belly and you will eat dust allthe days of your life, and I
will put enmity between you andthe woman and between your
offsprings in hers and he willcrush your head and you will

(06:00):
strike his heel to the woman hesaid, I will make your pains and
childbearing very severe withpainful labor you will give
birth to children, Your desirewill be for your husband and he
will rule over you to Adam Hesaid, Because you listened to
your wife and ate fruit from thetree about which I commanded you

(06:24):
you must not eat from it. Cursedis the ground because of you
through painful toil, you willeat food from it all the days of
your life. It will producethorns and thistles for you and
you will eat the plants of thefield by the sweat of your brow,
you will eat your food until youreturn to the ground since from
it you were taken For dust youare into dust you will return.

(06:47):
Adam named his wife Eve becauseshe will become the mother of
all the living the Lord God madegarments of skin for Adam and
his wife and clothed them andthe Lord God said the man has
now become like one of usknowing good and evil, he must
not be allowed to reach out hishand and take also from the tree
of life and eat and liveforever. So the Lord God

(07:11):
banished him from the Garden ofEden to work the ground from
which he had been taken after hedrove them in out he placed on
the east side of the Garden ofEden Chair of him and a flaming
swore, flashing back and forthto guard the way to the tree of
life. And that is the end of ourchapter. Okay, so boom, we let's

(07:33):
recap and really get anunderstanding of it. The Fall
Now the serpent was more craftythan any of the wild animals to
glory God had made he said tothe woman Did God really say you
must not eat from the tree andthe garden so hit go the little
serpent. He just slid in aroundbeing real slick and smooth and
sneaky. And he sneaked up on awoman and he was like, Girl Did

(07:56):
God really say you hi eat fromthat tree. And a garden, the
woman's like, we can eat fruitfrom the trees in the garden.
But you see that tree rightthere in the middle. We was
commanded not to eat from it,nor should we touch it. Because
if we do, we will die. That'swhat God said the serpent like,

(08:17):
Girl, please, you will not die.
See, God don't want you to eatfrom that tree. Because he don't
want you to be like him knowingall the things that he know and
doing all the things that he do.
That woman was like, oh, yeah,is this why he's on? There's
nothing here from the tree willlook ahead. The tree looked good
to me. It looked like the fruitis producing just right. And it

(08:39):
looked like ah I need to have mebuy so she goes over there to
the tree and she takes her fruitand I'm taking it I'm guessing
that Adam wasn't payingattention because men never pay
attention. She takes the fruitand she's like the fruit is good
is juicy is just as good let mego in and get them to my man.

(09:01):
Good here maybe try this fruitAdam not looking paying
attention because men never payattention. He eats the fruit
too.
This is real good. Where'd youget this fruit from? Oh, I got
it from the tree in the middleyou know the one guy said is not
to eat from immediately theireyes are open they noticed that

(09:23):
they're naked they canunderstand really what's going
on they no longer living in lala land they is no longer living
in fairy world their eyes havebeen open to both good and evil
so of course they noticed thatthey were naked they probably
looking at each other like whyyou got them titties or what's
that thing hanging down therefrom your body? What is that

(09:45):
dangling? He probably looking ather like is that a hairy bush?
What is that you know though, they're probably looking at each
other body parts like what isit? So then they saw some little
fig leaves together and theymade them a little tree skirt
tree boxers you know stuff thatHave them up out of fig trees.
Now they hear God coming in thegarden. Don't Don't Don't don't
walk into the garden and theyhide it. God already know what

(10:08):
happened because God is allknowing God, but he comes on in
the garden. And he like, Um,excuse me, man, where are you?
The man is like, I want to hidebecause I noticed that I was
naked and I heard you wascoming, you see? And God like
how did you know you were naked?

(10:31):
And I'm the man like oh thewoman that you left here with me
the one you took out my red oneyou planted here with me? You
know for company. She gave mesome fruit from the tree that
she told us not to eat fromYeah, she gave me that. So God
like probably looking at himlike you just stupid. You just
go eat something that the womangave you asked no questions you

(10:54):
ask where she gets it from? Youjust You just okay got it. Woman
while you look what you do. Whathave you done? The woman like,
oh, Lord, that serpent you lovehere in a garden? Do you know
that little sneaky one? Theslick one, he deceived me. Yet,
he told me that I will havewisdom and that I was not going

(11:15):
to die and that I could eat fromthe tree. He played tricks on
me. So God like serpent. Whywould you do this because you
have done this, I'm going tocurse you among all the wild
animals. Not only am I going tocurse you among all the wild
animals, you want to slither onin dust for the rest of your
life, you're gonna be rollingand crawling on your belly for

(11:36):
the rest of your life. And notonly that, I'm gonna put it
between you and a woman and itmeans hostility. I don't know,
in great terms of what thatactually mean because I don't
really have a fear of snakes.
But but he said you will crawlon your belly and you will eat
us all the days of your life tothe surface. And I will put
enmity between you and the womanand between your offsprings and

(12:00):
her and he will crush your headand you will strike his heel. So
guys now talking to the woman helikened to you, Lady woman, you
are going to bear pain fromchildbirth. Yes, I'm going to
make it hurt. And let me tellyou something about childbirth,
and nothing pleasant aboutchildbirth, kudos to the women

(12:22):
that can have multiple childrenback to back like they Nuki a
tight power to that opening upfor a big giant watermelon, you
know, total for those women. Ihad two beautiful children, six
years apart from each other andboth childbirth hurt, okay, they
hurt like hell yes, they do.

(12:42):
They are very severe. They'revery painful. And I find that to
be you know, it's a beautifulthing to give birth, but to go
through the pregnancy and havekids, that is a painful thing
that women do go through. And sobeing able to see it here in a
Bible and recognize why he gaveher such to severe pain is
because she caused all thedrama. So God like look, I'm

(13:04):
going to give you some severepain, you're going to be very
painful during labor. When youhave birth to children, your
desires will be for yourhusband, and he will rule over
you but a lot of women have atendency of Lauren lowering
theirselves for men not that wehave to because we were placed

(13:26):
exactly with Adam the same timeAdam came through a place where
man God made them he made himand her he made them so to talk
about relationships I don't sayah you know, I don't know but
that desire for woman to havethe man rule over her you know
just a manly figure and havethat desire for that man to be
masculine in our lives. It is adesire that women have you know,

(13:50):
even though we bear men we birthmen to have a man a masculine
man really come in securerelationships occur in your life
you know being you're protectingyour shield women actually do
want that while real women wantthat so yes, we do desire for
that. So I do get this partright here for sure. I get the

(14:10):
whole chapter honestly, it's awhole picture of how sin was
created like God was like youknow what, you you learn a
lesson you learn a lesson andyou learn your lesson so to Adam
he said because you listen toyour wife and you didn't have a
money your own thing it it andyou ate the fruit from the tree
about which I commanded you. Youmust not eat from it parse is

(14:33):
the ground because of you canpainful toil you will eat food
for me all the days of your lifeit will produce thorns and
thistle for you and you will eatthe plants of the field by the
sweat of your brow you will eatyour food until you return to
the ground since from it youwere taken for this you are
incidence you are our return.
Let me tell you something, a manthat don't work, don't eat and
that's just period God said itright here in this chapter you

(14:56):
will through painful tollIf you will eat food from it and
toil means suffering it meanslike you want to do this for
some time and you're not gonnalike it it's like hard work is
like suffering it's like we menpeople work suffering you're
going to suffer to work you'renot going to like it you're

(15:17):
gonna have to grind basicallyand trust me a man who don't
work don't eat and no womandon't want no broke nigga so you
do the math how it all adds up.
Okay period God laid it out witha blueprint he like man you
gotta work you go and producewhat you eat you gonna eat from
it from does she wear made doesshe gonna go back to you're

(15:39):
gonna work until the day you dietype stuff.
Wow, crazy. So Adam named hiswife Eve because she will become
the mother of all living theLord God made garments of skin
for him and his wife and clothehim now I don't know when he
talked about garments of skinlike God she made the whole skin
form you know because we theskin is the biggest organ on the

(16:02):
body like how did she make askin skirt skin pants like come
on board you skinned the body soit was they all muscle at first
and they look alike you know,it's just I'm just wondering
what God created you know Sam sothe man has now become like one
of us knowing good and evil hemust not be allowed to reach out
his hand and take also from thetree of life and eat and live

(16:26):
forever so the Lord God banishedhim from the Garden of Eden to
work the ground from which hehad been taken they got kicked
out the garden Adam got to workyou got to work for which you
survive and for you got to workto eat you are going to work
from the grounds that to comefrom to supply for you and your
lady because she gone very Ohchildren she's going to be a

(16:48):
mother you're going to work forthis and that's how you're gonna
make it do what to do. And so heplaced on the east side of the
Garden of Eden Chair of themchair boom is when I looked at
it is like one of God's angelslike one of God's right hand
man, he basically paid saidChair of him right there was
some flaming sores, basicallylike bro, you is not getting up

(17:09):
in here. This is our guard, youare not coming back into the
Garden of Eden you had gotkicked out. And it just puts it
in a same boat that both men andwomen are of equal. When God
made them Adam and Eve, He madethem a light when the woman got
deceived by the serpent. Shedidn't think to ask no questions

(17:30):
as well. Nor does she thinkabout the commandment that God
gave her she basically said, Youknow what, I'm going to believe
the serpent not even believe theserpent but I'm going to trust
the serpent and I'm going to eatfrom the tree because I want
this wisdom that he talkedabout. If God Almighty it's like
woman, you want it too much andyou did too much because you had

(17:52):
a maid now had you would havejust been chilled and relaxed.
And it just put things inperspective how women always
doing too much won't in so muchlike enough is never enough.
Like you had the whole garden ofEden girl. It wasn't enough for
you that you had to eat fromthat one tree. And it just makes
sense to me how women can neverhave enough it's so funny to me

(18:15):
that I'm laughing right nowbecause it's dawning on me like
girl you really had a May youhad a man in a garden you had
every tree of life in thegarden. You had everything and
God asked you not to touch thisone tree. He told job Oh, you're
gonna have everything. This onetree right here. Don't don't eat

(18:36):
from it. Don't touch it. That'sthe only thing that you have to
do. And you disobey that. Soyes, women were actually made
like that. Thank you Eve forgiving us that reputation of
disobedience. Like women don'tlisten, you know, and the fact
that she gave it to the man andhe didn't even think to ask any

(18:57):
questions like you just took thefruit and you ate it dummy. Like
you're an idiot. Like you guysbelong together. I see why men
and women are so alike. Itdoesn't matter. You know, what's
your background what sex you aremen and women are of human form.
We both make mistakes. We areboth deceitful like we both can

(19:20):
be deceived. There's no ourequal of what a woman and a man
is like we are human we areGod's creation. And to origin
sin is to say, you know, thefirst sin that was created when
they dis obeyed God's firstcommand. And his first
commandment was to not eat fromthis one particular tree in the

(19:45):
middle of the garden. And when Ithink about the commandments,
and how many times have God hastold me not to do something,
he's like, you can have this youcan do this and you can do that.
But I don't want you to do thisone particular thing and here I
am thinkGiven that I got it all figured
out, and I'm like, Oh, let mesee if I just can get away with
it. You know, like what wouldhappen if I do this, you know,

(20:05):
and time after time God has toconstruct me and mold me into
the person places and the thingsthat he are trying, he's trying
to take me to. So this chapterhas really gave me the insight
not only just about what tookplace to origin sin, but just
overall about women and men, howthey go one and one together,

(20:28):
women and men are a great coupletogether, it makes sense. And
not just women and men alike. Ifyou choose to be men and men,
that's your business woman andwoman, that's your business.
What I'm speaking of is human tohuman, it makes so much sense
how they are together, regardless of what you choose to

(20:48):
be with. I don't see I see it asa crime to be with the same sex
Trust me, I will have a lot ofbacklash on that. But that's
just my opinion. Men and womencan date women and women could
date. men and men could datehowever you choose to do. The
thing is how we disobey God iswhat really matters to be

(21:11):
constructed by God on allowinghim to say, Look, you did this
wrong, and I'm going todiscipline you like this. What
is our remark on that? What ishow do we get back into action
and falling in line with God?
Forgiveness is the big key here.
God was like, I forgive you guysfor what you did. But you know,

(21:32):
because of what you did. Youguys got to get off the garden,
you steal my kids, you steal mychildren, I'm still gonna supply
for you. But you no longerwelcome here. And the question
that I have for myself as wellas everybody else is, have you
ever felt hemmed in our stiffledby one of God's commands? How
have you responded to thisfeeling? A lot of times I can

(21:54):
hear maybe the spirit, like youdon't need to be in a
relationship. You don't need tobe in a situation. You don't
need to go there. You don't needto do this. And I'm like, I'm
going to do it anyway. You know?
Like, it's like, you know, Idon't want to listen to what God
is telling me. And that's wherediscernment come in. It's like

(22:16):
super big. And it's super hugeon how we look at that. So and
just allow God to use us. Soyes, you guys that does wrap up
for our class today. But Iwanted to give a shout out to
