Showoff is a band with a 30-year history of blending punk, new wave, power pop, and alternative influences, but listening to their catalog you'd be surprised to find deeper influences like Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Hank Williams, Sr. Their music is infectious and their harmonies harken back to classic bands like The Beatles. Toss in a dash of Tommy James' best psychedelic era offerings and you have the Showoff sound. Chris Envy, Steve Envy, and Mickey Molinari from the band are here to talk about their great new EP, Haverstraw, their history, and bagels.
