Rutgers Basketball's most disappointing season EVER is over. It ended in appropriately brutal fashion in the 1st round o the Big 10 tournament. I discuss the the shortcomings of the team, the coaching, and the overall program leadership and strategy going forward.

The Four Nations tournament was the epitome of hockey excellence. I discuss the brilliance of it, vs the NY Rangers suckage Saturday - hockey at its best and worst.

Should the Rangers BUY or SELL at the trade deadline? The Rangers enter the 4-Nations break 3 points out of the wild card spot. There are strong arguments to be had on both sides.

Dylan Harper returned and led Rutgers past #23 Illinois in a huge home win. Also, the Rangers came back late again, and beat Boston 3-2 . They look great with JT Miller so far.

Rutgers basketball's season appears done as the offense sputtered against Michigan, and injuries continue to mount in a 66-63 loss. I discuss the disappointment and frustration for RU fans.
Also, JT Miller shined in his Rangers’ debut, but the Rangers appear to be flailing again, losing 6-3 to Boston.

The Rangers landed J.T. Miller in a big trade with the Canucks. They paid a steep price though, sending Chytil, Victor Mancini and a first-round pick to Vancouver. I discuss the risks for both sides in this huge deal.

Rutgers basketball lost 80-72 to Penn State on the road Monday. Bailey was great, but lost his temper and fouled out with 2 technicals. 17 turnovers, 23 fouls and Harper having his worst game as a Knight (7 pts) finished the Knights.

After the Jersey Guy Blues, it's now a time of the Jersey Guy Renaissance - RU and the Rangers are winning again! I discuss the short term resurgence of Rutgers Basketball and the NY Rangers, and the role of defense on each teams resurgence.

It's the Jersey Guy Blues: Losing, losing, losing all winter long. The Giants, Rangers, RU BBALL and football, and the World Series has left a sour taste lately.

Harper's Triple Double leads Rutgers to a dominating 91-64 win over Columbia. 24 points from Ace and a triple-double from Harper carried RU in a game they had to have.

Rutgers lost 44- 41 to Kansas State in the Rate Bowl in Arizona. A 2nd half collapse sealed Rutgers’ fate. Rutgers offense closed the year very strong, but the D did us in.

Rutgers lost in brutal fashion 83-82 to Princeton at The Rock in Newark Saturday. It appears at this team is simply not as good as Rutgers fans had hoped. This team cannot play D or rebound a basketball if someone handed it to them, and I am done thinking this team is going anywhere this year.

The Rangers stink. Drury is clueless. Kaapo Kakko was traded as the Rangers’ death spiral continues. There doesn’t appear to be any end in sight as the team's level of play has fallen off a cliff since last season.

Dylan Harper rallied Rutgers past Seton Hall 66-63 Saturday at the RAC. Harper’s long 3 at the buzzer capped a 24 point day, but Rutgers struggled all day against Seton Hall. This was a win where I felt wore after the game than before.

The Yankees didn't wait long after the devastating Soto defection, landing lefty ace Max Fried and trading Nestor for stud closer Devin Williams. The Yankees pitching is immediately improved, and Cashman needs to pivot to offense now.

Juan Soto is gone, and that spells disaster for the 2025 Yanks. Hal and Cashman AGAIN ... let a coveted, generational free agent sign with another team. No matter who the Yankees sign or trade for, they are now a worse team in 2025, as Hal continues to be a joke compared to his dad. Steinbrenner continues to lose every battle for talent to other teams, and this one is an unmitigated disaster.

RU basketball lost to Ohio State 80-66 on the road Saturday afternoon. Awful interior defense, offensive rebounds and awful shooting and turnovers doomed the Knights.

Jacob Trouba was traded to Anaheim and the Rangers responded on the ice with a much better defensive game overall - and a win. Drury actually met the moment and dumped a problem player and freed up $8 million in cap space. Much more needs to be done by Drury to make this team harder to play against. I discuss this and more.
