Welcome to JLE “jelly” a podcast where I tell stories and my animals pretend to listen. The purpose of JLE is to analyze topics involving Jesus, everyday life, and various forms of entertainment- in it all we will decide whether or not the choices made lead closer to Heaven or closer to Hell. It is an honor for my voice to be the barrier between those listening and their innermost thoughts.

This is the third episode JLE has done on prison YouTuber, Jessica Kent. Someone who was supported by thousands for her honesty and relatability only to find out that the house she built founded on sobriety and redemption was made entirely of lies and it has finally come crashing down.
At the start of this mini series we went over Jessica Kent’s tumultuous timeline as seen on YouTube. Now we’re unearthing the many lies she has told that will likely lead to her demise but something tells me this is only the beginning.
WARNING this episode contains graphic content involving violence, drug use, domestic abuse, and probably other awful things too.
A couple of personal stories after Shut Up & Listen on how perspective in life changes with time. Then we discuss and attempt to straighten out the tangled timeline that is the life of former inmate/drug dealer turned prison YouTuber, Jessica Kent. What is real and what is for the internet?
Shut Up and Listen:
Gone are the days of tattoos being solely associated with smarmy individuals but what does that mean for the historical unmatched medium of tattooing? Is it possible to be unique in a sea of ink? Thankfully, it still is and it might be because of the emerging style known as blackout tattoo.
A minute with Jesus.
The first take you may appreciate.
A morning devotional read at night.
A few minutes with Jesus.
Birds be scary sometimes.
A collection of words by Emily Dickinson.
A poem by Charles Bukowski.
JLE continues the looney saga of The Barnett family covering episodes 3 and 4 in the HBO docuseries The Curious Case of Natalia Grace. Tolstoy said it best; “all happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”
SPOILERS (graphic content and probably cursing)
A poem about a guy who didn’t like his landlord.
A devotional and a Psalm.
In this episode of JLE, the topics involve things that sink too low like submarines, and the possible motivations of some people. Were the Barnetts scammed into adopting a sociopathic adult resulting in fear for their safety or did they have “buyer’s remorse?” The episode contains spoilers and probably some colorful language. Your triggers are your responsibility.

Who would think the makers of our beloved pet’s food operate in a lawless land? The documentary Pet Fooled does a fine job of revealing the dirty secrets inside the pet food industry and more importantly, how dog and cat owners can unite in the name of health for our animals. Also, they found cocaine in the White House.

This episode of JLE discusses explosions, the pretty kind we enjoy on the 4th of July, and the petrifying kind that no one wants to experience. In 2013, a relaxing cruise quickly turned into a dystopian nightmare when an explosion on board left over 4,000 people stranded in The Gulf of Mexico.
Did the adoption story of Natalia Grace play out like the plot of the horror movie Orphan or did the Barnetts abandon their daughter? Listen to JLE review episode 1 of 6 in the docuseries
The Curious Case of Natalia Grace to decide.
