Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's a two point seven because of I'm Golden Hour
from Jake Ryan Seacrest. Here we are on the Lizzo
countdown clock right now, Lizzo countdown clock. We're like minutes
away from Lizzo joining us here, like nine minutes. I'm
a hustle, so uh. At the Grammys they had these
tables set up at Crypto on the floor where normally

(00:21):
put seats folding chairs out or the artists said, but
this time that had the tables out. So you have
a cocktail, you can have a chicuter reboard on the table. Vividly,
I remember the picture of Harry Styles and his mates
sitting around the table with the chicutery board. Saw a
photo of that. They were courtesy of today's hometown hustler.
She made them Lauren delp Our, hustler in Silver Lake.
Good morning, Hello Lauren. How are you. I'm great? How

(00:44):
are you? I'm so good. Well, you became famous, at
least through our eyes by looking at your chicutery boards
during the Grammys. Yes, oh my god, it was so
insane talking to you. I'm such a fan. I've been
looking to you for years. Thank you so much. I
love that what we were were fans of yours. We
have not tasted anything, but my eyeballs have been all
over those Scutari boards. Ryan, Can I send you a board? Ye?

(01:09):
Can you send me a board? You can send me
board as many boards as you are. I am a
board dirt. I am a board dirt. Yes. I will
tell you exactly when and where to send that when
we wrapped this up. But you're not getting out of that. Okay, no, no, no,
tell me when I will do that now. I just
want to get your This is so the reason I
love hometown Hustler is that you're doing something you love.

(01:29):
So prior to the Shaker business, which is your passion,
what were you doing? Are you still working corporate advertising?
I was an account director for Apple working on all
their iPad advertising, which is a cool job. But this
is a totally yeah about you still wanted to do.
I mean, this is to me, this is artistic in
a way. Yeah, thank you. Yeah. I mean honestly, it

(01:50):
was my mom. And my mom's an artist and she
always said, like, you're going to find your art. You're
gonna find your art. And I said, oh no, I'll
just I'm gonna work in advertising. Forever and I was
a totally happy doing that and it was great and
wonderful and like the best experience, but it wasn't like
my art, and I really never thought i'd find out
was like I don't I can't draw, I can't sing.
I was like a really like average dancer. And then

(02:13):
but I always I always loved entertain though, and so yeah,
it's like it's not totally out of left field because
if you ask anyone like did you come to my parties,
I had like I always had like a full table,
like a great spread. Um, So yeah, I just kind
of started making them for fun. And then it's just like, yeah,
how did you get the gig to make the shicuter
reboards to put on all the tables at the front

(02:35):
of the art? Is how that happened. They literally emailed me, um,
like nine days ago, like any two weeks ago. Today,
I did an email that says Grammy's urgent. And I
replied back immediately and said, you know, because they asked,
but can you can you do this? Can you operate
at this level? Can you you know, do a project
of this scale? And I replied back and said absolutely,

(02:58):
And then I stared at the wall in absolutely like
shock for you, like in your I think we've all
done that in our careers where they had absolutely my pants.
I mean I knew we could do it, but just
like this, sheer like because I was in shock, this

(03:19):
this opportunity like fell in my lap. It was just like,
oh my god, Yeah, is this the biggest project I
guess you have done? You've actually done more boards, profile, profile,
most exposure, largest stage. Absolutely right. Well, listen if you
saw those screwing boards at the Grammy's. Lauren Delp did
him out of silver Lake and you can actually see

(03:41):
her work at silver Lake Socialite on Instagram and TikTok.
She's all done awesome because she dropped her regular gig
and went after her art. Her passion is making it
happen to Congratulations, Lauren. I'm gonna put you on hold
so you can send us a board. Yeah, thank you
guys so much. This is like a dream. Thank you
so much. Congratulations, thank you. Wait, tell me how many
how many people are gonna be toy Tanya myself, Let's

thank you so much. I super appreciate this. Hustle. Fan
d what's funny, it's actually probably like running a catering business.
I could see you doing that right now. You look concerned. Well, no,
because I think catering for a lot of people is

(04:46):
very hard. No, it's very hard, stressful. Team. I'm just
thinking my vans Ryan would have a team though, old
FedEx fans that I remodeled. I take FedEx fans right
that they didn't is anymore like and I'd re uh Matt,
